Trump Fires Fed Guv!

Only two and half years in and Trump fired her because of an allegation.

A nepo baby makes an allegation about a Federal Reserve board governor to generate a conspiracy. The 45th/47th President of the United States openly wants that said person to resign or be fired. The person refuses and denies the allegations.

The president fires that person and the global market goes bonkers.

A 14 year term cut short in less than three years. Now the person is planning on suing the federal government and it could end up in the conservative leaning Supreme Court.

Former president Joe Biden had appointed Lisa Cook to be head of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. She was confirmed on a 50 to 50 vote with former vice president Kamala Harris breaking the tie.

She is the first black woman to sit on the Board. Before her appointment to the Federal Reserve Board, she was elected in January 2022 to the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.

President Donald J. Trump announced that he had fired Cook from her position for what he says are "deceitful and potentially criminal conduct". Cook has stated that she has no plans to resign. At present, it is unclear whether any legally sufficient grounds exist to justify Cook’s dismissal, as the Federal Reserve Act requires that such removal be for cause.

On August 15, 2025, Federal Housing Finance Agency director Bill Pulte accused Cook of mortgage fraud, saying she claimed two different homes as her main residence in 2021 to get better loan terms. Pulte says he submitted a criminal referral to the Department of Justice.

Trump done far worse. He is forbidden from operating a business in New York because of fraud.

Pulte had already made similar accusations against two other political adversaries of Trump, namely New York Attorney General Letitia James and Senator Adam Schiff.

Five days after Pulte's accusation, Trump posted on Truth Social that “Cook must resign, now,” calling for her to step down. Later that day, Cook rejected the demand, saying she would not be pressured to leave her post and promised to provide clear answers about her financial records.

On August 25, Trump announced that he fired Cook for cause, although the legality of the firing is disputed and will likely be challenged in the courts..

Later in the day, Lisa Cook responded with a statement that said "President Trump purported to fire me 'for cause' when no cause exists under the law, and he has no authority to do so." Cook's attorney, Abbe Lowell said that "President Trump has taken to social media to once again 'fire by tweet' and once again his reflex to bully is flawed and his demands lack any proper process, basis or legal authority ... We will take whatever actions are needed to prevent his attempted illegal action."

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), the top Democrat on the Banking Committee, called Trump’s actions "an authoritarian power grab that blatantly violates the Federal Reserve Act, and must be overturned in court."

Cook has not been charged with any crime, and her removal is likely to lead to a court battle between the independent central bank and the executive branch.

The Supreme Court said in May, while granting Trump the ability to remove members of other independent agencies, that the Federal Reserve is a “uniquely structured, quasi-private entity” that has its own distinct historical tradition. That led many to believe the bar would be high for Trump to be able to remove any Fed board members or its chairman.

Monday's move against Cook came amid an unrelenting pressure campaign by Trump against the central bank, with Trump and his top aides and allies repeatedly attacking the institution and its chair, Jerome Powell, over current interest rate policies.

Trump has attacked Powell almost nonstop, calling him "stupid" and saying he "hates me." Trump has also said the board, which Cook serves on, "should be ashamed of themselves."

After Pulte alleged that Cook committed mortgage fraud, Trump quickly reposted his allegations, saying on Truth Social that she "must resign, now!!!"

Pulte said on X after Trump announced Cook's removal, "Fraud will not be tolerated in President Trump’s housing market."

Pulte's focus on Cook's mortgage documentation is just the latest in a series of similar accusations against high-ranking Democrats, such as Sen. Adam Schiff of California and New York Attorney General Letitia James.

He added in a second post, "If you commit mortgage fraud in America, we will come after you, no matter who you are."

The U.S. Dollar Index, a measure of the dollar's strength against a basket of global currencies, declined sharply on Trump's announcement.

Cook, who has a permanent vote on the central bank’s rate-setting committee, was appointed by President Joe Biden to a term running until 2038.

If she is removed from the Fed's board and its rate-setting committee, Trump would gain another opportunity to put his mark on the central bank.

Trump has nominated his top economist, Stephen Miran, to the Fed's board for a term that would run until January. Trump will also have a chance to name a new chair when Powell's term ends in May.

Trump appointed Fed governors during his first term — Michelle Bowman and Christopher Waller. Both are still serving in those roles. However, interest rates change only when a majority of the 12-member committee votes to do so, and a total of four Trump appointees would still be in the minority.

The committee consists of the Fed chairperson, six Fed governors, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York president and four other regional Fed presidents on a rotating basis, who represent districts across the country.

“This is a new attempt of the administration to gain more control over the Fed. They’re pulling as many different levers as they can find to get that control," former Fed economist Claudia Sahm recently told Bloomberg News.

Alison Parker And Adam Ward: 10 Years And Still Threats On Journalism!

When you become the news. This is marks 10 years since a gunman killed Alison Parker and Adam Ward on live television in Ronoake, Virginia.

The deaths of a Ronoake, Virginia news reporter and cameraman happened 10 years ago. Today marks 10 years since a local news station captured the moment a colleague was shot and killed on live television.

The death of this news reporter and her cameraman still haunts to this day.

Gun violence did not stop that day.

Still there is no change to protecting journalists or stopping gun violence.

The genocide conducted by Israel has killed 490 journalists. The current president, Donald J. Trump is responsible for three incidents that involved journalists.

The Annapolis mass shooting, the George Floyd protests and the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol attack were notable incidents where journalists were killed or injured.

Alison Parker and Adam Ward were killed by a vengeful former reporter. He shot them at point blank range while conducting an interview with a Blacksburg business executive.

The suspect was a fired reporter who blamed Parker for losing his job. He was an openly gay Black man who had a drinking problem. He was a victim of homophobia and racial abuse. Vester Lee Flanagan II (also known as Bryce Williams) allegedly feuded with Paker because of racist remarks made by her. This happened when she was an intern at WDBJ-TV in Roanoke, Virginia. They both  worked there. Flanagan as a reporter until his firing in 2013. The dispute was one-sided and rooted in Flanagan's complaints, which were investigated and dismissed by the station, but it lingered as a grudge that he referenced in the aftermath of the shooting.

Station executives and colleagues described him as "difficult," "unhappy," and prone to "looking out for things to take offense to," with no evidence of reciprocal hostility from Parker or Ward. Parker's father, Andy Parker, and others emphasized that the phrases were innocuous and that Flanagan's interpretations were "crazy, left-field assumptions." The shooting was investigated as a targeted act of revenge by authorities, with Flanagan's manifesto and social media posts providing direct evidence of the motive tied to these prior workplace disputes. This information is corroborated across multiple contemporaneous news reports and official records from 2015, including investigations by the EEOC and WDBJ internal memos released in civil lawsuits.

Two members of the WDBJ family were slain. They were described as a fun, outgoing, professional team. Alison Parker and Adam Ward were killed by a former reporter.

At the time of the shooting, Alison Parker and Adam Ward were conducting a live interview with Vicki Gardner at Moneta's Bridgewater Plaza about upcoming events for the 50th anniversary of Smith Mountain Lake, 26 miles (42 km) southeast of Roanoke. The shooting occurred at 6:46 a.m. EDT in the middle of the segment, which was broadcast on WDBJ's morning news program Mornin'. Video of the incident showed Parker conducting the interview when at least eight gunshots were heard, followed by screams. Ward's camera fell to the ground, briefly capturing the image of Flanagan holding a Glock 19 9mm pistol.

WDBJ then switched back to Mornin' anchor Kimberly McBroom at the station's news studio, seemingly confused by what had just happened. She later stated that she believed the noises could have been a car backfiring or shots being fired in the background.

Parker and Ward died at the scene. Gardner was also shot, but she survived following surgery at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. According to the state medical examiner's office, Parker died from gunshot wounds to her head and chest, while Ward died from shots to his head and torso. Gardner was shot in the back after she curled into a fetal position in an attempt to play dead. A total of fifteen shots were fired.

Staff in the WDBJ newsroom reviewed video of the incident from Ward's fallen camera and identified Flanagan as the likely gunman. They alerted general manager Jeffrey Marks, who passed the information to the Franklin County sheriff.

The shooter wrote a manifesto claiming the WDBJ newsroom treated him like shit. He had a feud with Alison Parker.

Flanagan faxed ABC News at 8:23 a.m. and then phoned shortly after 10:00 a.m., making a confession. During the ensuing manhunt, authorities tracked Flanagan's cell phone to locate him.

Flanagan abandoned his Ford Mustang at the Roanoke–Blacksburg Regional Airport and drove a rented Chevrolet Sonic north on I-81, then east on I-66. An automated license plate reader in a Virginia state trooper's car identified the rented Sonic at 11:20 a.m. The trooper called for backup and attempted to initiate a traffic stop, but Flanagan sped away. His car ran off the side of the road and struck an embankment near Markham after a pursuit of less than two miles.

Flanagan was found inside the car with gunshot wounds to the head, which were apparently self-inflicted while he was driving.

He was airlifted to Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, where he was declared dead at 1:26 p.m.

What makes me think that our country is doomed is the fact that no one seems to understand that blame should automatically go to the shooter.

The shooter was upset over being fired from a job. He had mental issues. He had legal access to firearms. He wanted to get revenge on people who he claimed hurt his chances at success.

He created his own faults. That is not the responsibility of the president, the activists, the conservative and liberal agitators or the media. He could have gotten help. He could have an opportunity to work for other venues if he would have tried. But he just felt that he got the short end of the stick. He snapped.

The nice guy is the most dangerous person with a gun. They don't care who they kill. If they were spurned, expect revenge to be served.

Gun violence is the No. 1 threat in the United States. Our politicians will not do a damn thing to stop it. They will strip every other freedom but not the damn firearms.

Trump Trying To Jail.... 🔥 🇺🇸 🇮🇱

Trump trying to criminalize burning these flags.

Y'all voted for this.

I guess some of you are regretting that vote.

I bet you better not say anything about Barack Obama. At least you had the audacity to call him a Kenyan socialist Muslim gay annoited racist fake Black dictator.

See Obama knew why he said "carnival barker." He meant Donald J. Trump.

So that Jan. 6, 2021 was a moment when Americans used flags as weapons. One of those pardoned assholes flew the flag of the Confederacy in the halls of the U.S. Capitol. We are supposed to believe a convicted felon wants to punish those who use peaceful protest and dissatisfaction with their country.

The 45th/47th President of the United States signed an executive order to make it a federal crime to burn the U.S. and Israeli flag.

The president is compromised by Israel, Russia and the Southern Baptists.

This all lies in the Project 2025/Agenda 47 and Greater Israel boondoggle.

Trump signed an executive order Aug. 25 seeking to penalize people who burn flags, although courts have long upheld the practice as legitimate expression under the First Amendment.

The order aims to prosecute people who burn flags associated with other violence, such as inciting a riot, Trump said.

"If you burn a flag, you get one year in jail," Trump told reporters in the Oval Office, although the order doesn't specify a jail sentence. "You will see flag burning stop immediately."

The First Amendment protects speech and peaceful protest. The Supreme Court in 1989 ruled in a 5-4 decision that burning a flag itself is a form of political expression and isn't illegal.

Bob Corn-Revere, the chief counsel of the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression, said "flag burning as a form of political protest is protected by the First Amendment" even if Trump finds it "uniquely offensive and provocative."

"President Trump may believe he has the power to revise the First Amendment with the stroke of a pen, but he doesn’t," Corn-Revere said.

But Attorney General Pam Bondi said Trump's goal of prosecuting flag-burning could be accomplished without violating the high court's decision.

"We will do that without running afoul of the First Amendment," Bondi said.

The executive order focuses on a provision in the Supreme Court decisions that Trump argued said "fighting words" or inciting lawless action aren't protected by the First Amendment.
Old news. Trump is hiding his declining health. So in order to take the public off of it and the Jeffrey Epstein files, he throws out an executive order to make buring the U.S. flag and Israeli flag a punishable offense.

“What happens when you burn the flag, the area goes crazy," Trump said. “When you burn the American flag, it incites riots."

Trump's order comes amid a year of celebration leading to the country’s 250th birthday on July 4, 2026. Trump mentioned seeking a penalty for flag burning while visiting Fort Bragg in North Carolina on June 10 as part of the U.S. Army's 250th anniversary.

“People that burn the American flag should go to jail for one year, that's what they should be doing, one year,” Trump said after sometimes violent protests in Los Angeles against immigration enforcement.

Trump has previously called for a one-year penalty for flag-burning, including during a rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in June 2020, during the presidential campaign. He was photographed hugging a flag at the Conservative Political Action Conference in March 2019.

Flags are occasionally burned during protests in front of the White House, including in 2019.

The Jacob Blake/Kyle Rittenhouse Controversy: Five Years And Still A Country Divided!

Jacob Blake and Kyle Rittenhouse became household names in Kenosha.

Be warned there will be graphic images.

The Summer of 2020 was chaotic. We had a pandemic, major economic turmoils, two presidential campaigns with gerratric nominees, many Black men becoming social media after death.

Give you a hint.

He's an old dottering man who tries to conceal his bruises with a bad touch of makeup. An old man who was running for president since 2015. An old man who refuses to leave once his term is up. An old man who is currently our president.

Ahmaud Arbery, Rayshard Brooks, George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Andre Hill and Jacob Blake became household names in the Black Lives Matter movement.

Five years ago, two men became a national news story.

There's two versions of American justice.

A Black man can be shot multiple times if he enters his vehicle after fleeing a cop.

A white man can go home, sleep, call an attorney and then turn himself into the police after shooting two individuals dead in a deliberate attempt to spark unrest.

Read my wordplay. I said, "cop and police."

White people are treated by the police.

Black people are treated by cops.

The incident where a Kenosha, Wisconsin cop shot a man who the law claims was reaching for a knife. In reality, he was not but the cop was so much in fear of his pathetic life, he shot him seven times. The man was severely injured but survived.

This man came from Illinois to cause more chaos.

He ended up being partially paralyzed from this.

The cop who shot him was cleared of the shooting and is back on the streets again.

During unrest, a white teen from Illinois traveled to Kenosha to start intimidating protesters under the guise of protecting businesses. He got into a verbal and physical confrontation which to a mass shooting leaving two dead and five injured.

The teen was tried in court but ended up being acquitted. The man who was shot by the police ended up being charged for disorderly conduct. He pled guilty and was handed in house. The man to this day wants to sue the cop who shot him.

Jacob Blake was the story but Kyle Rittenhouse stole the show.

On August 23, 2020, Blake, a 29-year-old black man, was shot and seriously injured by police officer Rusten Sheskey in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Blake placed a knife in his right hand and opened the driver's door of an SUV before turning towards Sheskey, who shot Blake in the back four times and the side three times. Sheskey said that he believed he was about to be stabbed. Earlier during the encounter, Blake had been tased by two officers, but the tasers failed to disable him and he continued toward the vehicle.

Blake had a warrant for his arrest from July, based on charges of third-degree felony sexual assault and trespassing and disorderly conduct for domestic abuse in May.

This wuss of a cop shot a man in the back because he fled him. They shot him because he had a knife. No where in the footage, Jacob Blake tried to stab Rusten Sheskey.

Both Kenosha Police Chief Daniel Miskinis and the Kenosha Professional Police Association stated that the officers dispatched on August 23 were aware of the pending warrant for Blake before they arrived on scene; dispatch records confirm this.

The police shooting was followed by widespread unrest in Kenosha, which included rallies, marches, property damage, arson, and clashes with police. During the unrest, two men were fatally shot by an armed civilian, 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse from Antioch, Illinois. Blake's name was invoked in protests in other cities as part of the Black Lives Matter movement, which resurged in the wake of several high-profile killings by police officers in 2020.

In January 2021, Kenosha County prosecutors announced that the officers involved in the shooting would not be charged, and Sheskey returned to regular police duty in April 2021.

Prosecutors also announced that Blake would not face any new charges.

After the mother of Blake's children refused to cooperate with prosecutors, they dropped the previous sexual assault and trespassing charges against Blake in exchange for him pleading guilty to two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and domestic abuse, for which he was sentenced to two years of probation.

On August 25, 2020, Kyle Rittenhouse, a 17-year-old from Antioch, Illinois, shot and killed two men and wounded another man in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The shootings occurred during the protests, riots, and civil unrest that followed the shooting of Jacob Blake. Race was a major theme in U.S. media commentary of the event, although Rittenhouse and those he shot were white. Rittenhouse was armed with an AR-15 style rifle and had joined a group of armed people in Kenosha who said that they were in Kenosha to protect businesses.

Joseph D. Rosenbaum, a 36-year-old unarmed Kenosha man, ran at Rittenhouse and grabbed the barrel of his rifle after throwing a plastic shopping bag of clothing at him. Rittenhouse shot Rosenbaum four times at close range, killing him.

A crowd formed and Rittenhouse quickly fled the scene. Anthony Huber, a 26-year-old-resident of Silver Lake, struck Rittenhouse in the head with a skateboard and attempted to wrest his rifle away; Rittenhouse shot him once, fatally. Gaige Paul Grosskreutz, a 26-year-old West Allis man who pointed a handgun at Rittenhouse, was shot by Rittenhouse once in the right arm and survived.

Gaige Grosskreutz, Anthony Huber and Joseph Rosenbaum. Grosskreutz survived the mass shooting. Huber and Rosenbaum were killed by Rittenhouse. The shooter claimed he was acting in self defense despite trying to intimidate the three.

Kenosha County prosecutors charged Rittenhouse with two counts of homicide, one count of attempted homicide, two counts of reckless endangerment, one count of unlawful possession of a firearm, and one count of curfew violation. His trial lasted from November 1 to 19, 2021. Prosecutors sought to show Rittenhouse as a criminal gunman, while defense lawyers argued that Rittenhouse had acted in self-defense, asserting that his attackers were part of a mob that "attacked him in the street like an animal" and that he used force necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to himself.

Judge Bruce Schroeder dismissed the unlawful possession charge and the curfew violation charge for being legally unsupported, and a jury found Rittenhouse not guilty of the remaining charges.

Public sentiment of the shootings, as well as media coverage are both polarized and politicized. Multiple right-wing politicians and figures welcomed Rittenhouse's acquittal, stating that the shootings were self-defense. Former president Joe Biden called for the jury's verdict to be respected, although stated that the verdict "will leave many Americans feeling angry and concerned, myself included."

Multiple Democratic politicians and figures criticized the verdict as a miscarriage of justice, saying that the acquittal was emblematic of racial double standards in the American justice system.

Shot Anthony Huber in cold blood.

Gun control advocates expressed concerns that the verdict would embolden vigilantism and militia groups.

An Economist/YouGov poll conducted during the trial found that two-thirds of Republicans thought Rittenhouse should be acquitted, while three-quarters of Democrats thought he should be convicted.

Fuck this shit!

The white nationalists and conservative tokens are trying to define the situation as Jacob Blake and other Black men deserving his fate. They are saying:

  • If he would of complied....
  • If he would not have reached....
  • If he would not have resisted....
  • If he would not have done what he's done....
  • If he would have not done [criminal acts]....

Then he would be ALIVE.....

This terrorist supports Trump and Blue Lives Matter.
Americans are fucking cynical. They don't see the bigger picture. They don't see a cop grabbing a man by the shirt collar and shooting him eight fucking times (at point blank range). They shot him in front of his children.

I'm going out on a limb here by stating that the police chief of the city of Kenosha and sheriff of Kenosha County will be forced out of their jobs soon. I can bet you that they're going to face some serious heat for allowing a white terrorist to literally slip between their fingers.

I am not playing these games with these trolls.

No cop ever told those white extremists to drop their firearms.

And they wonder why Black Lives Matter?

A man who didn't even pose a threat was shot in the back seven fucking times. He is barely alive but paralyzed from the waist down. This motherfucking cop had seven years on the force. Didn't seem to give one fuck about the actions he's done. His excuse is "well, I feared for my life."

The other cops who were in presence didn't fire their weapons.

You can see in the video, he grabs Blake's shirt and then starts emptying his firearm.

Why there's a different standard for Black suspects?

A white terrorist can shoot a man in the head, a man in the chest, and a man in the arm at point blank range without being detained, shot dead or taken down with force. They allow him to cross state lines get a nap in and destroy evidence. Hell they even gave him an opportunity to call a lawyer.

We got a problem here!

Big Snoop Striking Out!

It's getting old.

Do you know who is paying your checks?

Snoop Dogg, the CEO of Doggystyle Records and Death Row Records don't know who signs his checks. It could be a gay business executive and his family.

Ever since he performed at one of President Donald J. Trump’s inaugural balls, the legendary rapper is being blacklisted by the left and longtime hip-hop fans.

Calvin Broadus is getting old. He is 54 years old. He is supposed to be a role model to the next generation of inspiring rappers.

The antics of his past are no longer relevant in a society more willing to support kindness, Palestinians, an end to inequality, an end to the status quo, an end to capitalism, an end to career politicians, an end to hate, an end to wars and agitating conflicts.

Snoop Dogg appeared on the It's Giving podcast and he gave his take on LGBTQ representation in films. He claimed he took his grandson to a screening of Disney/Pixar's Lightyear. In the animated action film, there is a character who is in a same sex relationship with a child. Big Snoop complained about it.

"What you see is what you see, and they're putting it everywhere," he said on a recent episode of the It's Giving podcast. The rapper and pop culture personality described taking his grandson to see 2022's Lightyear, and being shocked to discover that one of the animated film's protagonists has two mothers. "They're like, 'She had a baby — with another woman.' Well, my grandson, in the middle of the movie is like, 'Papa Snoop? How she have a baby with a woman? She's a woman!'"

Snoop recalled thinking, "'Oh sh--, I didn't come in for this sh--. I just came to watch the goddamn movie.'" But his grandson pressed on, asking, "'They just said, she and she had a baby — they're both women. How does she have a baby?'" The rapper reflected that the experience "f----- me up. I'm like, scared to go to the movies. Y'all throwing me in the middle of sh-- that I don't have an answer for."

America doesn't have to be perfect.

"It threw me for a loop. I'm like, 'What part of the movie was this?" Snoop continued.

The "Gin and Juice" rapper and The Voice coach elaborated on his reluctance toward LGBTQ+ representation in films like Lightyear, saying, "These are kids. We have to show that at this age? They're going to ask questions. I don't have the answer."

Entertainment Weekly has reached out to a representative for Snoop for comment.

Lightyear tells the origin story of the famed spaceman figurine from the Toy Story franchise, voiced by Chris Evans. Buzz Lightyear's best friend and co-officer in the film, Alisha Hawthorne (voiced by Uzo Aduba), becomes stranded on an alien planet with several other members of their crew, where she's seen in one montage marrying and raising a child with her partner Kiko.

The montage drew controversy before the film was even released for marking not just Disney's first prominent LGBTQ+ character, but depicting its first same-sex kiss. The kiss was almost axed from the film's theatrical cut, but a mass uprising of employees at the House of Mouse's animation subsidiary, Pixar, worked to reinstate the shot.

Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Boosie BadAzz, Pastor Troy, Busta Rhymes and DaBaby don't realize the LGBTQ community is paying their bills.

Understand this.

Hip-hop and homophobia are complex. In the earlier days, homophobia was part of the status quo in music. Rappers were allowed to say the f word and disparage transgender Americans.

Times have changed. This time you may face boycotts or firing from shows.

Snoop's return to The Voice will be marred with controversy. Pressure will start to mount for his removal. Trust me, it is coming.

By the 2000s and 2010s, artists like Kanye West and Jay-Z began publicly supporting gay rights, with West notably calling out homophobia in hip-hop during a 2005 interview. Frank Ocean’s 2012 coming out as bisexual was a pivotal moment, showing vulnerability and openness in a genre once hostile to such expressions. Younger artists like Lil Nas X, who came out as gay in 2019, have further challenged norms, using their platforms to embrace queer identity openly.

Still, homophobia persists in pockets of hip-hop culture. Some artists and fans cling to traditional notions of masculinity, and lyrics occasionally reflect this. Social media posts on X highlight ongoing tensions—some users celebrate artists like Lil Nas X for breaking barriers, while others express discomfort or outright hostility toward queer representation in hip-hop.The genre’s trajectory shows progress but not uniformity. Hip-hop reflects society’s broader struggles with acceptance, amplified by its raw, expressive nature. Data’s sparse, but a 2019 study from the Williams Institute noted 59% of Black Americans (a key hip-hop demographic) supported gay rights, compared to 65% of the general U.S. population, suggesting a gap that’s narrowing but still exists.

Aaliyah: Always A Legend!

The biggest shock in hip-hop was the fatal plane crash that killed Aaliyah.

August 25, 2001, the hip-hop and R&B community lost Aaliyah Dana Haughton in a tragic place crash in the Bahamas. The singer and actress was wrapping up filming for her music video "Rock the Boat" when she and her entourage gathered on a charter plane. The pilot was apparently under the influence risked it all by carrying the entertainer, equipment, suitcases and several members in the film crew on a plane that was overweight.

The plane crashed shortly after take off.

The incident was filmed. There's a rumor that the footage of people trying to save the victims online but I had trouble trying to find it.

Nonetheless, Aaliyah was badly burned and could not be saved. She was 22 year old at the time of her passing.

Born in Brooklyn and raised in Detroit, she first gained recognition at the age of 10, when she appeared on the television show Star Search and performed in concert alongside Gladys Knight. At the age of 12, Aaliyah signed with Jive Records and her uncle Barry Hankerson's Blackground Records. Hankerson introduced her to R. Kelly, who became her mentor, as well as lead songwriter and producer of her debut album, Age Ain't Nothing but a Number (1994). The album sold three million copies in the United States and was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

After allegations of an illegal marriage with Kelly, Aaliyah ended her contract with Jive and signed with Atlantic Records.

Her life was cut short.

That marriage became the nail in the coffin for R. Kelly. In his federal trial, witnesses claim that a 14 year old Aaliyah was in the back of a tour bus having sexual intercourse with Kelly. An associate of Kelly illegally bribed a state worker to forge documents making Aaliyah 18 years old when they got married.

Aaliyah was 15 at the time of the wedding, while Kelly was 27. To conceal her age, an associate of Kelly's allegedly bribed an Illinois official to obtain a fraudulent marriage license that listed Aaliyah's age as 18.

Kelly was sentenced to 30 years in federal time out.

Aaliyah worked with record producers Timbaland and Missy Elliott for her second album, One in a Million (1996), which sold three million copies in the United States and more than eight million copies worldwide. In 2000, Aaliyah made her acting debut in the action film Romeo Must Die, alongside Jet Li. She contributed to the film's soundtrack, which was supported by her single "Try Again". The song topped the Billboard Hot 100 solely through airplay, becoming the first in the chart's history to do so. After completing the film, Aaliyah subsequently filmed her starring role in Queen of the Damned (which was released posthumously), and in July 2001, released her eponymous third album, which topped the Billboard 200. The album spawned the singles "We Need a Resolution", "Rock the Boat" and "More Than a Woman".

She spent months working on the album with her longtime friend and producer Timbaland. She also had Static Major, Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott, Rapture and Bud'da help her work on the album.

She was engaged to then Roc-A-Fella Records CEO Damon Dash and was happy.

I still remember that night I've heard she died in a plane crash. It was heartbreaking.

Aaliyah was killed in the Marsh Harbour Cessna 402 crash along with eight other people on board, when the overloaded aircraft she was traveling in crashed shortly after takeoff. The pilot was later found to have traces of cocaine and alcohol in his body and was not qualified to fly the aircraft designated for the flight. Aaliyah's family filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the aircraft's operator, which was settled out of court. In the decades following her death, Aaliyah's music has continued to achieve commercial success, aided by several posthumous releases, including the compilation albums I Care 4 U (2002) and Ultimate Aaliyah (2005). She has sold 8.1 million albums in the US and an estimated 24 to 32 million albums worldwide. In 2010, Billboard listed her as the tenth most successful female R&B artist of the past 25 years, and the 27th most successful in history.

Her death shook the community. Rappers Jay-Z, the late DMX, Missy "Misdemeanor" Eliott, Timbaland and Lil Kim attended her funeral.

Aaliyah, hair stylist Eric Forman, Anthony Dodd, security guard Scott Gallin, Keith Wallace, make-up stylist Christopher Maldonado, and Blackground Records employees Douglas Kratz and Gina Smith --- were killed when pilot Luis Morales III was under the influence when he piloted the twin-engine Cessna 402 in the Bahamas.

Her death rocked the hip-hop community. She was riding on a wave of success at the time. She released her album which was self-titled as Aaliyah (Red). It would be her final album.

Raja Jackson Went Off Script!

The moment you realize you done effed up.

Be warned, there is graphic images and content.

The son of UFC fighter Quinton "Rampage" Jackson is under investigation for an incident at a charity wrestling match.

Raja Jackson, a social media agitator and semi professional wrestler is accused of beating another wrestler unconscious. It started when wrestler SykoStu slapped Jackson in the face during an intermission.

Jackson interrupted a match during the "Knox Experience" show put on by the WWE ID affiliated KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy, picking up and slamming Stuart Smith, who wrestles under the name Syko Stu, and repeatedly punching him. The incident was livestreamed on Jackson's Kick account.

Wrestling journalist Sean Ross Sapp posted on X following the incident that Smith was "rushed to the hospital with serious injuries."

"What was supposed to be a planned and agreed upon wrestling spot, turned into a selfish, irresponsible act of violence against Mr. Smith," KnokX Pro Wrestling wrote in a statement on Facebook posted Sunday, Aug. 24. "This egregious act is reprehensible and never should have occurred."

The incident was livestreamed.

Douglas Malo, a wrestler who was involved in the ensuing mele to stop Jackson's alleged attack, told USA TODAY in an interview that Smith was awake and talking on Aug. 24 but had broken bones in his face and lost "a lot of teeth."

Andrew Smith, Stuart's brother, said in a Facebook post late Aug. 24 that the wrestler was "stable but in critical care." He added that the family has not set up a GoFundMe as of the post made just before 9 p.m. PT.

"He was choking on his own blood and teeth," Malo said. "Somebody reminded me there's kids there and then I was like 'oh my God.'"

The New York Times and TMZ both reported that the Los Angeles Police Department had opened an investigation into the incident.

USA TODAY reached out to the LAPD for comment on if an investigation into the incident has been opened and did not receive a response.

We already know the far right is making it a race issue since the performers were Black and white. Soon Fox and Trump will react to it.

Folks, we appreciate you reading Journal de la Reyna during this trying times.

Me, La Reyna, our contributors and those who read this blog are facing the same struggles as most Americans. Hate has increased since President Donald J. Trump returned to office. Also the ongoing genocide caused by Israel sparked tensions globally.

We are not in the business of answering trolls. These trolls always poke their heads out whenever we cover issues involving Black America and people of color.

If we're criticizing Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Christian extremists, Jewish extremists, Israel, non white conservatives, Fox, Republicans and capitalism for their bullshit, we're expecting a troll or two to respond. We also seen a spike in spamming comments on this blog as well.

We get it.

We're a Black blog and we got trolls who often comes on here to concern, insult and dismiss what we post.

I get it.

You want us to respond to every fucking response you leave here on the blog.

You want us to "wake up" from the bullshit of Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Hakeem Jeffries, Chuck Schumer, Gavin Newsom, Michael Bloomberg, Pete Buttigieg and these "crazy" progressive politics.

You want us to get on the Trump bandwagon.

You really want us to stop the "cult of personality" complex. Yet, you are the ones posting Trump memes, buying merchandise with the president's likeness and claiming his past deeds do not disqualify him as a person.

SykoStu posing with fans.

Calling us names is going to certainly "wake us up" in these trying times. You're certainly going to win the argument of political discourse! Right?

I see your bullshit from a mile away and it's stinking up the place.

You realize that you're a part of "cult of personality."

You know you really fucked up, right?

Most online trolls are ignorant. They can be ignorant all they want. This is America, you have the freedom to be that (for now).

This country is more polarized, less religious, less educated, less motivated, highly overweight, and bloodthirsty. We hide behind platitudes and run on narratives about who's more right than factual.

We are driven to discourse by the junk food media and social media. I cannot stop it. I am not in the business to stop it. However, I do have control over how I read things on this blog. I have semi-control over what is posted on this blog. I am not planning on changing my views on Trump no time soon.

I really believe Trump and his allies are destined for failure. With that failure, comes the aftermath. We all fail if Trump continues to reign his bigotry and Republicans keep control of the U.S. Congress.

The concern troll is the "a plague on both your houses" approach, where the concern troll tries to convince people that both sides of the ideological divide are just as bad as each other, and so no one can think themselves "correct" but must engage in endless hedging and caveats. This preys on a willingness to debate critics and allow dissent; everyone wastes time discussing the matter and bending over backwards, so as not to appear intolerant of disagreement, all to the great amusement of the troll.

I strongly disagree with your comments. I am not wasting time to respond other than what you're seeing here. If I waste time responding to trolls, it will get me no where.

I am not banning anyone from Journal de la Reyna, yet. I promise you that if you keep on trolling, I will find ways to isolate you from this blog.

Continue to read at your own peril.

We will not stop.

We will not be moved.

We will fight for the rights of people of color.

We will hold Donald J. Trump, JD Vance, Republicans, Democrats, Congress and those associated to them accountable.

We will not waste our time worrying about you or those who think like you.

We all have lives outside the blog. Why don't you move past our blog and find a blog that supports your views?

Trump Pushing For The National Guard In Chicago!

America's largest city in the Midwest becomes Trump's newest distraction.

President Donald J. Trump is aiming to cause chaos from coast to coast. He declared a national emergency in Washington, DC, Los Angeles and soon Chicago.

He is planning on declaring more for New York City and Baltimore.

All the cities Trump is trying to federalize the National Guard are in cities the far right often demonizes. The mayors are Black.

1. New York City mayor Eric Adams, independent.
2. Los Angeles mayor Karen Bass, Democrat.
3. Chicago mayor, Brandon Johnson, Democrat.
4. Washington, DC mayor Muriel Bowser, Democrat.
5. Baltimore mayor Brandon Scott, Democrat.

Trump, a convicted felon and sexual predator wants to Make America Safe Again.

Trump is failing at making America safe. The president is not willing to stop gun violence. He is not willing to prepare for catastrophic weather events. He will not stop agitating other countries. He still supports the apartheid ethnostate of Israel.

So he and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth are planning on activating the National Guard to patrol the city of Chicago. Mayor Brandon Johnson and Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker are telling the president to kick rocks.

The Pentagon has been planning for weeks to deploy military troops in Chicago, as part of President Trump's plan to crack down on crime, homelessness, and undocumented immigration, similar to his approach in Washington, D.C., the Washington Post reported on Saturday.

According to the Washington Post, the Pentagon's plans include mobilizing at least a few thousand National Guard troops as early as September, and officials have also discussed the use of active-duty troops.

Chicago mayor Brandon Johnson and JB Pritzker are going to walk the streets of Chicago to denounce the far right's claims of Chicago being a warzone.

In a statement Saturday night, Gov. JB Pritzker said, "The State of Illinois at this time has received no requests or outreach from the federal government asking if we need assistance, and we have made no requests for federal intervention."

"The safety of the people of Illinois is always my top priority. There is no emergency that warrants the President of the United States federalizing the @IL_Natl_Guard, deploying the National Guard from other states, or sending active duty military within our own borders," Pritzker wrote in a post on X. "Donald Trump is attempting to manufacture a crisis, politicize Americans who serve in uniform, and continue abusing his power to distract from the pain he's causing families. We'll continue to follow the law, stand up for the sovereignty of our state, and protect Illinoisans."

CBS News Chicago legal analyst Irv Miller said the president does not have the authority to unilaterally send the National Guard to Illinois. Deploying the National Guard in any state is up to the governor, and Pritzker has made it clear he's not interested.

According to the Washington Post, the Chicago mission would be similar to that in Los Angeles in June, when the Trump administration deployed 4,000 members of the National Guard and 700 active duty Marines to protect federal property and agents following a series of protests against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The same model could be made in other major cities.

President Trump has made it clear Chicago is his next target for sending federal troops to fight crime, and while the mayor and governor have said any such move would be illegal, one small group in Chicago welcomes the crackdown despite widespread opposition in the city.
President Donald J. Trump can't hide his age. His policies are not solving the problems. Literally, gas, food, rent, energy prices are rising. Trump continues to waste money for a border wall, tax cuts, regulation rollbacks, Israel's genocide, his businesses and shielding his declining health.

A day after President Trump threatened to make Chicago the next stop for the National Guard, Mayor Brandon Johnson – attending a block party on the South Side – offered an optimistic portrait of the city.

"This is who Chicago really is. What's being painted by the federal government is false. We love one another. We support one another. We put our arms around one another," Johnson said.

The mayor and Gov. JB Pritzker have both called any effort by the president to send the National Guard to Chicago to fight crime illegal, and have noted crime is down significantly in the city over the past year.

"Unlawfully deploying the National Guard to Chicago has the potential to inflame tensions between residents and law enforcement when we know that trust between police and residents is foundational to building safer communities. An unlawful deployment would be unsustainable and would threaten to undermine the historic progress we have. In the past year alone, we have reduced homicides by more than 30%, robberies by 35%, and shootings by almost 40%. We need to continue to invest in what is working," Johnson said in a statement on Friday.

The angry responses from Johnson and Pritzker came after Mr. Trump claimed Chicago residents "are screaming for us to come."

"They're wearing red hats, just like this one, but they're wearing red hats. African American ladies, beautiful ladies, are saying, 'Please, President Trump, come to Chicago. Please.' I did great with the Black vote, as you know, and they want something to happen," he said.

A conservative group called "Chicago Flips Red" said the president was referring to them. Leaders said they have eight core members, but nationwide support, and they welcome the National Guard on Chicago streets.

"It needs to happen. It's no law and order," Zoe Leigh said.

"I mean, if you've got the National Guard right there, are you going to rob somebody right there in front of the National Guard? No, you're not," Danielle Carter-Walters said.

The president doesn't have authority to send the National Guard to Illinois to fight crime. Deploying the National Guard in Illinois is up to the governor.

The ACLU of Illinois argued public safety involves more than just policing, and the National Guard is not the answer.

"National Guard are not trained in order to be police officers, in order to collaborate and cooperate with communities. They're trained to do militaristic operations, and so the idea that that's the substitute is really a poor one," ACLU Illinois spokesman Ed Yohnka said.

Johnson would not answer questions about Trump's threat on Saturday, but in his statement on Friday said his office has not received any communication from the White House about sending federal troops to Chicago.

Ald. Jason Ervin (28th) said he hasn't heard anything specific, either, but he doesn't want to see military vehicles patrolling city streets.

More chaos from Trump. The drunk Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is being directed to use the military for civilian purposes.

Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi and Sen. Tammy Duckworth also responded to the report on Sunday, saying in part:

"President Trump's illegal attempt to militarize Chicago will do nothing but spark chaos and create spectacle. There is no emergency in Illinois that warrants federalizing our National Guard or deploying active-duty troops into our communities—just as there was no justification in Washington or Los Angeles. Donald Trump's flagrant abuses of power must end. Our brave servicemen and women are not pawns in his political games," Krishnamoorthi said.

"We know this isn't about 'law and order' because Trump is once again refusing to coordinate with state and local officials," Duckworth said. "And if he really cared about 'health and safety,' he wouldn't have cut millions of dollars in gun violence prevention funding just weeks ago. This is just another attempt to distract the American people from the price increases his own policies are causing and the various personal scandals he wants to change the subject from. Forcing the military, uninvited, into Chicago to intimidate Americans in their own communities does not make our nation stronger, it simply distracts the military from executing its core mission of keeping Americans safe from real adversaries who wish us harm."

Rep. Mike Quigley added, "There is nothing more important to me than the safety and security of my constituents. The city of Chicago does not want or need the military deployed to our streets. This is a gross overreach by a President who wants to cosplay as tough by bullying his own citizens. I support real solutions to crime and homelessness—programs that provide funding to our police, violence interrupters, and drug intervention. I've worked hard to support these initiatives, and I'm always ready to work across the aisle to improve them. Unfortunately, Donald Trump is more interested in cutting these programs and political theater than he is in working toward real solutions."

Trump Is Intel!

The project to nowhere.

The biggest waste of space is located in Central Ohio. The 45th/47th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump caused chaos with these tariffs.

Former president Joe Biden was touting this disaster as America's comback. Gov. Mike DeWine and Ohio leaders were shovels and photops. Ground broke in 2022 and now three years later, a large sprawling nothing.

Mind you, the area was farmland and rural homes. Now it is an irreversible land grab which shows the results of America's problem with sprawl

The company that promised to build one of the largest semiconductor and processing chips plant is slowly backing out.

Intel is struggling.

Because of their support of Israel, the company has been on a boycott by businesses in the Global South and Arab League.

Intel has released a series of disappointing revenue. They are laying off 25% of their workforce.

The company still believes the Intel plant will still be built in New Albany, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus by 2031. The cities of New Albany and Columbus are fuming over this. They were anticipating a monumental success.

Republicans and conservatives fail for it again. The U.S. government is taking about 10% of Intel.

While we are witnessing the demise of capitalism, Republicans and conservatives fume at President Donald J. Trump taking a federal seizing of a private company.

The Trump administration said Friday that it had taken a 10% stake in Intel, the president's latest extraordinary move to exert federal government control over private business.

Intel Columbus is indefinitely stalled.

The United States will not seek direct representation on Intel's board and pledged to vote with the current Board of Directors on matters requiring shareholder approval, "with limited exceptions," according to a joint release from the Trump administration and Intel. The move also comes as the United States vies with China in the race to dominate the artificial intelligence industry.

Trump announced the deal on his Truth Social platform Friday, praising the company's CEO just two weeks after he called on the executive to resign over alleged China ties.

"It is my Great Honor to report that the United States of America now fully owns and controls 10% of INTEL, a Great American Company that has an even more incredible future," he wrote. "I negotiated this Deal with Lip-Bu Tan, the Highly Respected Chief Executive Officer of the Company. The United States paid nothing for these Shares, and the Shares are now valued at approximately $11 Billion Dollars. This is a great Deal for America and, also, a great Deal for INTEL. Building leading edge Semiconductors and Chips, which is what INTEL does, is fundamental to the future of our Nation."

President Donald J. Trump's age is showing. He is showing the U.S. how capitalism, nepotism, white privilege, elitism and apartheid tore this country apart.

While the U.S. held temporary stakes in firms at the center of the 2008-2009 global financial meltdown as part of a bailout, this move is unusual since the economy is not embroiled in a crisis. Congress published a study in 2003 that examined the impact of the federal government taking direct stakes in public companies, concluding that doing so would “not offer a free lunch” and expose taxpayers to “greater risk” alongside the upside potential.

The stake will be paid for through $5.7 billion in grants previously awarded to Intel under the 2022 U.S. CHIPS and Science Act, plus $3.2 billion awarded to the company as part of a program called Secure Enclave. It’s a formerly classified initiative that Congress appropriated funds for in 2024 after lobbying by Intel, Politico reported in 2024.

Including $2.2 billion in CHIPs grants Intel has received so far, the total investment is $11.1 billion, or 9.9%. Intel is valued at about $108 billion on the stock market.

Trump continues to bulldoze through long-held norms regarding government and business, departing from the free-market ethos that has long prevailed in both major U.S. political parties.

This month, Trump persuaded the chipmakers Nvidia and AMD to pay the U.S. government 15% of their revenues from some sales to China in return for securing export licenses there.

Lip-Bu Tan is struggling to keep his job as the CEO of Intel. Trump openly called for his firing but reverse course after the company announced a government takeover.

While those firms have seen their fortunes rise amid the larger artificial intelligence boom, a windfall from any of them is no sure thing. In the case of California-based Intel, the company has struggled to keep up with rivals in recent years, with its shares down some 60% from the highs seen during the pandemic.

But amid the ongoing artificial intelligence arms race — and the goal of making computer chips a national security priority — Trump officials zeroed in on Intel as a means of leveling up U.S. control over semiconductor production.

Earlier this week, Japan’s SoftBank also announced it would invest $2 billion in Intel to “deepen their commitment to investing in advanced technology and semiconductor innovation in the United States."

Some Democrats signaled they were on board with the move.

"U.S. leadership is critical for both our economy and national security," U.S. Senator Mark Warner, D-Virginia, said in a statement Friday evening.

"Taking an equity stake in Intel may or may not be the right approach, but one thing is clear: allowing cutting-edge chips to flow to China without restraint will erode the value of any investment we make here at home. We need a strategy that protects American innovation, strengthens our workforce, and keeps the technologies of the future firmly in American hands."
