The victim had posted on social media some very disturbing things about Black women. Not discounting the circumstances, his social media was catnip to the so-called FBA crowd.

The woman who killed the father of her children will not face any criminal charges.

Telvin Osborne's family will not see justice. The killer walks. Although she is expected to be hit with civil lawsuits, public shaming and the possibility of losing custody of her children, the victim’s family will never see the opportunity for justice. It's relatively white.

Burke County quietly called for Gov. Brian Kemp, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi to be on the alert for potential unrest and threats on individuals.

Burke County Prosecutors didn’t have conclusive evidence that Hannah Cobb intentionally killed her boyfriend in a drunken domestic violence quarrel.

District Attorney Jared Williams told News 12 on Friday that a grand jury returned a “no bill” for Cobb, who was arrested Feb. 25 on a charge of felony involuntary manslaughter in connection with the fatal shooting of her boyfriend, Telvin Osborne, 30.

The case was presented to a grand jury on April 24, but the grand jury decided not to pursue formal charges.

That doesn’t necessarily mean formal charges can’t be filed later, but Williams appears inclined to follow the grand jury’s lead.

“As the Grand Jury has spoken, the case is closed,” he said in a statement.

The Burke County Sheriff’s Office is bracing for possible trouble as a result of the grand jury’s decision.

The agency posted on Facebook late Friday:

“We are aware of rumors circulating on social media regarding potential rioting in Waynesboro tonight following the grand jury’s decision to issue a ‘no bill’ in the case involving Hannah Cobb and the death of Telvin Osborne. It is important to understand that the grand jury is a legal body tasked with hearing all evidence presented in a case before reaching a decision. While we recognize that this outcome may be upsetting or unpopular to some, we strongly urge everyone to refrain from actions that could further harm our community.”

The post goes on to state that violence will not be tolerated.

Basically, they are saying that we don't have the manpower to stop unrest and we need the help of Georgia State Police, the Trump Administration and Fox to push the narrative that we are a "law and order" county. 

We will punish dissent and outlaw threats. 

So says the conservative Democratic sheriff.

Earlier this month, Cobb had been granted a $25,000 bond, level 1 monitoring, and told to surrender all firearms to law enforcement.

Deputies say that around 5:45 a.m. Feb. 23, they responded to the 800 block of 4 Points Road in Keysville to investigate a report of a shooting.

According to 911 recordings, Cobb told an operator she was either “clearing or cleaning” her gun when it went off and hit Osborne.

However, days later, Sheriff Alfonzo Williams said there was no evidence or information about a person cleaning a gun before the incident happened. Williams said alcohol was involved, and authorities weren’t listing the shooting as accidental.

Some different versions of the story came out at a March hearing – Cobb’s first public appearance since her arrest on a felony charge of involuntary manslaughter.

Cobb’s family said the relationship was chaotic with aspects of emotional and occasional physical abuse and allegations of cheating against Osborne.

The prosecution said the incident happened after the pair had been out until 2 a.m. at clubs in Augusta.

Cobb told deputies she was checking her 9 mm pistol as she and Osborne did every night, when it went off, hitting Osborne. She said she thought the safety was on, according to a report from deputies.

She also acknowledged she and Osborne had been arguing that night and that led to a physical altercation. Cobb’s friends said she got upset when she believed he was talking to another woman.

She provided Ring camera footage that showed them arguing and her telling him to get out, followed by him leaving.

Osborne showed back up at the house, and she told investigators he pulled a knife and threatened her. She even told authorities where to find the 8-inch knife, and they did find it.

On the scene, investigators say they found Osborne in the master bedroom with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Investigators say Osborne was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Osborne's remarks about Black women disturbed me. He compared Black women to sleeping with dogs. His mother gotta be Black.

So if you rather sleep with a dog than a Black woman, you will be arrested for animal cruelty and gross sexual imposition. 

If you're interpreting Black women are inferior, that's your opinion.

Daytona Beach is the 6th Congressional District of Florida.

It is a city of 89,000 residents. It is the central Florida connection. 

Interstate 4, a major intrastate in central Florida connects Tampa, Lakeland, Orlando, Sanford and Daytona Beach. The highway starts from Interstate 275 near downtown Tampa. It travels northeast towards Orlando and terminates at Interstate 95 near Daytona Beach.

Daytona Beach to Jacksonville is 90 miles and to Miami is 260 miles.

Fine’s district stretches from St. Augustine along the state’s Atlantic coast, through Palm Coast, to South Daytona, and extends westward to include the outskirts of Ocala, Leesburg, and Sanford. It also includes a very small portion part of Lake County that’s included in the greater Orlando metropolitan area, but not any part of within the city limits — and certainly not the downtown area.

It’s mostly smaller towns. None of the downtown areas included in the district look anything remotely like the photo Fine had on his account. Both Sanford and Orlando are near lakes, for example, but have lots of palm trees included in the landscaping. Orlando is the only city with buildings anywhere close to those heights, but again, downtown Orlando is not included in Fine’s district.

Fine did end up switching the photo with one that said “Congressman Randy Fine: 6th District of Florida” on an overhead view of the beach, as Ammann noted with evident joy.

What Fine posted was the city of Dayton, Ohio. It is a Midwest city in the Rust Belt that is 930 miles from Daytona Beach.

Sheinelle Jones' Husband Uche Ojeh Passed Away!

Sheinelle Jones mourns the lost of her husband.

I guess the answer to NBC News correspondent and Today host Sheinelle Jones' absence was her husband. It was revealed that her husband passed away from an aggressive brain cancer.

Uche Ojeh, the husband of Jones, has died after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer called Glioblastoma. He was 45. 

The morning show announced the death Friday in a segment that was dedicated to celebrating Ojeh's life and love of his family.

“With profound sadness, we share this morning that Uche Ojeh, the husband of our friend and 'Today' co-host Sheinelle Jones, has passed away after a courageous battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer called glioblastoma,” Savannah Guthrie told viewers. 

Jones has been absent from the NBC morning show without explanation since December, although her co-hosts have given periodic updates. Last month, Craig Melvin, Al Roker, and Dylan Dreyer shared that Jones was dealing with an important family matter and they were "praying for her." 

In an Instagram post shortly after Friday's broadcast, Jones thanked her co-hosts for their support and tributes about her husband.

"Thank you, for all of your love and support," she captioned a clip of the 'Today' broadcast talking about Ojeh. 

Glioblastoma is the most common form of brain cancer in adults, and is typically one of the most aggressive types. It is known for its rapid growth and invasion of surrounding brain tissue. 

The two have three children. Two sons and a daughter. The youngest are twins.

Jones and Ojeh had been married for 17 years. According to 'Today,' the couple met at Northwestern University in the late 90s when she offered to show him around campus on a tour. Eight years later, Ojeh proposed on the campus of their alma mater. 

The couple have three children: Kayin, 15, and 12-year-old twins Uche and Clara. 

“One thing he always talked about — he talked about those kids,” co-anchor Craig Melvin recounted on Friday. “He loved those kids more than anything else in this world, and was just so proud. He was that dad that was on the sideline at every soccer game. He was at all the concerts, the recitals. He was that guy, and they had such a beautiful love story.”

The ten escapees from the Orleans Parish Correctional Institution are nearly caught. One employee and two women are facing state and federal charges for aiding in their escape.

Experiencing more divine interventions, some folks are willing to help prisoners escape. The justice system has always been quite unfair to Black men. 

Black men are locked up over 45% of the time for felonies and misdemeanors.

Authorities in Louisiana are on the hunt for five out of 10 inmates who busted out of a New Orleans jail and are still on the run for the seventh day on May 22.

Somehow the women found love behind bars.

The inmates escaped in the early morning hours of May 16, ripping out a toilet and sink unit and going through a hole in the wall, officials said. Since then, three other people have been charged with helping them: a maintenance worker who allegedly shut off the water at their request, and two women accused of helping them with transportation or food after the jailbreak.

The arrest of 33-year-old Sterling Williams marks the first non-inmate charged in the case. According to court documents, Williams told investigators he shut off the water to a cell and helped facilitate the breach under threat from an inmate. He now faces ten felony counts of Principal to Simple Escape and one count of Malfeasance in Office.

38-year-old Corvanntay Baptiste of Slidell had her bond set by a magistrate judge. Her bond was set at $1 million.

High and lost. The inmate was caught passed out on a bus bench. He was arrested without incident.

32-year-old Cortnie Harris of New Orleans had her bond set at $2.5 million. The court found probable cause and scheduled a Rule to Show Cause hearing for July 19 with GPS monitoring and 24-hour home incarceration ordered if released.

On May 22, Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill announced bonds for those women were set at $2.5 million and $1 million.

"You will be arrested and prosecuted if you assist these escapees in any way," Murrill said in a social media post.

Authorities nabbed three of the men – Robert Moody, Dkenan Dennis and Kendall Myles – by the end of the first day of the search. A fourth inmate, Gary Price, was taken into custody on May 19 while the fifth, Corey Boyd, was recaptured on May 20.

The inmates still at large are Derrick Groves, Leo Tate, Jermaine Donald, Lenton Vanburen and Antoine Massey. Vanburen, Donald and Groves have been charged with second-degree murder, officials said.

"We will NOT slow down. You will ALL be captured," Gov. Jeff Landry said in a post to social media after the fifth inmate was located.

• Jermaine Donald, 42, was charged with second-degree murder, according to parish records. The governor's office said he also faced charges of aggravated battery and possession of a firearm. He pleaded not guilty in April 2024, the Times-Picayune/NOLA.com reported.
• Derrick Groves, 27, was convicted of two charges of second-degree murder and two charges of attempted second-degree murder in October in connection with a shooting during Mardi Gras in 2018, according to a statement from the district attorney’s office. Groves has been awaiting sentencing on a manslaughter charge since October, according to a news release from the governor’s office. He also faces a charge of battery against a correctional facility employee, the Associated Press reported, citing court records. 
• Antoine T. Massey, 32, is charged with domestic abuse involving strangulation and theft of a motor vehicle, according to Orleans Parish records. There also is a warrant for his arrest in St. Tammany Parish for second-degree rape, second-degree kidnapping, domestic abuse involving strangulation and violation of a protective order involving battery stemming from an incident in November, a spokesperson for the parish sheriff's office told USA TODAY.
• Leo Tate, 31, was charged with burglary and drug possession, parish records show. The governor's office said Tate also was charged with theft of a motor vehicle and was sentenced in federal court for being a felon in possession of a firearm. NOLA.com reported Tate has also been sentenced to 10 years in prison for obstruction of justice, citing jail records.
• Lenton Vanburen, 26, was arrested on charges of second-degree murder and armed robbery, New Orleans police said. Vanburen also faced charges of possession of suboxone, an opioid often used to treat addiction, and battery of a correctional officer, according to parish records.
• Corey Boyd, 20, caught on May 20, 2025. Charged with second-degree murder.
• Dkenan Dennis, 24, caught on May 16, 2025. Charged with armed robbery with a firearm and illegal carrying of a weapon during a crime of violence.
• Gary Price, 21, caught on May 19, 2025. Charged with attempted first-degree murder, simple assault, criminal damage, domestic abuse, battery and assault with a weapon.
• Robert Moody, 22, caught on May 16, 2025. Charged with attempted second-degree battery and obstruction.
• Kendall Myles, 21, caught on May 16, 2025. Charged with intention to conceal a weapon, introducing contraband into a prison and possession of contraband.

Two staff members of the Israeli embassy were shot and killed Wednesday evening while leaving an event at a Jewish museum in the nation’s capital, and the suspect yelled, “Free, free Palestine” after he was arrested, police said.

The two victims, a man and a woman, were leaving an event at the Capital Jewish Museum when the suspect approached a group of four people and opened fire, Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela Smith said at a news conference.

The suspect, identified as Elias Rodriguez, 30, of Chicago, was observed pacing outside the museum before the shooting, walked into the museum after the shooting and was detained by event security, Smith said.

When he was taken into custody, the suspect began chanting, “Free, free Palestine,” Smith said. Smith said law enforcement did not believe there was an ongoing threat to the community.

Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Yechiel Leiter said the two people killed were a young couple about to be engaged, saying the man had purchased a ring this week with the intent to propose next week in Jerusalem.

Attorney General Pam Bondi said she was at the scene with former judge Jeanine Pirro, who serves as the U.S. attorney in Washington and whose office would prosecute the case.

Man traveled from Chicago to Washington, DC to take revenge on unaccountable Israelis.

“These horrible D.C. killings, based obviously on antisemitism, must end, NOW!” President Donald Trump posted on social media early Thursday. “Hatred and Radicalism have no place in the USA. Condolences to the families of the victims. So sad that such things as this can happen! God Bless You ALL!’

Israeli President Isaac Herzog said he was “devastated” by the scenes in Washington.

“This is a despicable act of hatred, of antisemitism, which has claimed the lives of two young employees of the Israeli embassy. Our hearts are with the loved ones of those murdered and our immediate prayers are with the injured. I send my full support to the Ambassador and all the embassy staff.”

He added: “We stand with the Jewish community in DC and across the US. America and Israel will stand united in defense of our people and our shared values. Terror and hate will not break us.”

Yoni Kalin and Katie Kalisher were inside the museum when they heard gunshots and a man came inside looking distressed, they said. Kalin said people came to his aid and brought him water, thinking he needed help, without realizing he was the suspect. When police arrived, he pulled out a red keffiyeh and repeatedly yelled, “Free Palestine,’” Kalin said.

“This event was about humanitarian aid,” Kalin said. “How can we actually help both the people in Gaza and the people in Israel? How can we bring together Muslims and Jews and Christians to work together to actually help innocent people? And then here he is just murdering two people in cold blood.”

The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington said in a statement that they are horrified by the shooting and “mourn the loss of the two individuals killed in the attack.”

The double standard in media coverage is the Israelis are hostages and the Palestinians are prisoners. Some of the Palestinians held in Israeli custody are children under the age of 14. 

When Russia seized Ukrainian land and Crimea, the U.S. pushed for sanctions.

When Israel seized Lebanese and Syrian land, the U.S. recognized it as Israeli sovereignty. They have actively rejected sanctions imposed on Israel.

Iran supports the resistance. The U.S. and Israel labels it as an enabler of terrorism and war. Yet, Israel has created the conflicts by forcing regime change, killing their civilians, their scientists, their military generals and their diplomats. No one seems to call this terrorism. In fact, some U.S. lawmakers see it as justifiable offense.

Hamas stated the reasons for the attack on occupation forces. It has nothing to do with the Jewish religion, a concert or Iran. 

The IDF has the weapons to destroy everything. All on the American taxpayer, Israel has killed civilians, their own citizens and the status quo.

Israel is going to fall. One IDF solider, settler, politician and Zionist at a time.

I have no condolences or condemnation. I will not condone this action done by the suspect. But I do empathize and understand how an eye for an eye is what's gonna happen in these next four years.

Trump, former president Joe Biden, Benjamin Netanyahu, Keir Starmer and the rest of Israel's backers will see the karma. Trust me, it's a coming.

The U.S. least intelligent operatives say Israel will strike Iran soon.

These murderers don't have mental illness. They are calculated and prepared. It happened to be a moment where they have the opportunity to take out lives.

There's no sickness in the head. Most mass shooters legally obtain their assault rifles without little background checks. They have likely no criminal history and they are willing to use the assault weapon in the only thing it's good for: Killing numerous lives.

I dismiss this ridiculous notion that criminals are the problem, not the guns. 

Firearms are often obtained through legal purchases. 

Again, having more security, teachers being armed and offering safe rooms are not solving the problem. The problem is lawmakers not willing to stop gun violence.

According to the far right: White shooters are mentally ill. Black shooters are unrepentant thugs and criminals. Gay shooters are active groomers. Muslim shooters are terrorists. Hispanic and Asian shooters are illegal immigrants. According to the far right, almost all white [or non-white] mass shooters are registered Democrats [or some progressive activist] because they have liked or done one thing common to the left. Of course, they often share or post disinformation by using the "Sam Hyde" meme or make bogus social media platforms with the shooter's image as a way to denounce most mass shooters being white or associated with conservative causes. The far right says a white person should "protect" themselves from thugs, terrorists or protesters. They believe the use of firearms are "justified" if they are protesting or even instigating a conflict. The far right believes if a shooter is a police officer, an active military member, a veteran or a citizen who supports conservative causes, they are considered a "heroes" and use of firearms are justified. If the shooters are teens in urban communities, the far right automatically assumes the gunmen are Black.

The Republicans usually amplify white victims. Anytime a person of color kills a white victim, it is often wall-to-wall coverage on Fox, Twitter and they force it into national news. They make the case to blame Black Lives Matter, Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, Democrats, Rev. Al Sharpton and rap music for Black on whatever violence. Republican legislators who do not live in urban neighborhoods often troll social media to talk about gun violence or crime in Chicago, Baltimore, Milwaukee and New York City while not doing a damn thing to stop it. If a white person shoots a Black person, the shooter is given the benefit of doubt. White shooters are given glowing profiles about their perfect lives and how friends noticed something but refused to do something. When it comes to Black shooters, automatic vilification. They don't see mental illness. They see it as gang violence, allegedly fatherless homes, Democratic policies or the need for more firearms. 

The far right and Republicans exploit gun violence in the Black community for culture wars and racism.

As the world is bringing pressure on Israel, some random man murders two of their operatives.

Holding these lawmakers accountable is not just a pledge, but a promise. You need to learn who represents your community. Your local community member, your school board member, your mayor, your state representative, your state senator, your governor, your U.S. Representative, your U.S. Senator and the president need to be held accountable for their actions. 

Israel must be held accountable for war crimes and the U.S. must end its aid. Our taxpayer money should not help Israel any further.

Israel is the red line. If any lawmaker, entertainer, athlete or social media influncer backs the apartheid ethnostate, they will face a boycott. 

Regardless of political affiliation, if you are supporting Israel, you are not getting donations or a vote from me.

Let them know that you are tired of your taxpayer money going to foreign nations like Israel. You are tired of hearing about "Israel having a right to..." and the bogus claims of being anti-Semitic or in support of terrorism. 

We have bigger issues at home and our tax dollars should solve the housing crisis, lowering food prices, fixing roads, bridges, helping reinvest in struggling urban and rural communities. We have hospitals closing, big box retailers leaving communities and television programs dying. There are bigger issues in the country than Israel. You want an immediate ceasefire and accountability for war crimes done by Israel. You want no more foreign influence in American elections. You also want to make sure future presidents and legislators avoid influence from lobbyists.

Trump And Vance Talk Tough To Cyril Ramaphosa! They Are Total P*ssies To Netanyahu!

South Africa president Ramaphosa comes to the U.S. to ease tensions. Trump kept his ego up and completely makes a fool of himself.

The president of South Africa comes to the United States to ease tensions. 

President Donald J. Trump does his usual slapstick to disrespect the leader.

His disrespect gets praise from the far right. The South African leader shakes his head and goes back home to get support to abandon American influence.

The African Union is considering abandoning the U.S. dollar and Euro. They are also planning on kicking out U.S., British and European Union companies because of the exploiting of resources. They are tired of poachers killing their wildlife.

They are tired of the West and their racist troupes.

They are tired of Israel.

They are tired of U.S. military bases in their countries.

And they are not going to aid the U.S. and Israel if they start World War III.

Israel is fuming at South Africa after the country filed a criminal complaint against apartheid ethnostate. The Israelis are working over Trump, Vice President JD Vance, House Speaker Mike Johnson, House Leaders Steve Scalise and Hakeem Jeffries. The Israelis are working over Senate Leaders John Thune and Chuck Schumer.

Seeing white South Africans get naturalized as U.S. citizens because of fucking conspiracies shows how the blantant hypocrisy Trump and his minions are.

The president used a White House meeting to forcefully confront South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, accusing the country of failing to address Trump’s baseless claim of the systematic killing of white farmers.

Genocide of white people. Healthy bunch of victims.

Trump even dimmed the lights of the Oval Office to play a video of a far-left politician chanting a song that includes the lyrics “kill the farmer.” He also leafed through news articles to underscore his point, saying the country’s white farmers have faced “death, death, death, horrible death.”

Trump had already cut all U.S. assistance to South Africa and welcomed several dozen white South African farmers to the U.S. as refugees as he pressed the case that a “genocide” is underway in the country.

The U.S. president, since his return to office, has launched a series of accusations at South Africa’s Black-led government, claiming it is seizing land from white farmers, enforcing antiwhite policies and pursuing an anti-American foreign policy.

Experts in South Africa say there is no evidence of whites being targeted for their race, although farmers of all races are victims of violent home invasions in a country with a high crime rate.

“People are fleeing South Africa for their own safety,” Trump said. “Their land is being confiscated and in many cases they’re being killed.”

Ramaphosa pushed back against Trump’s accusation. The South African leader had sought to use the meeting to set the record straight and salvage his country’s relationship with the United States. The bilateral relationship is at its lowest point since South Africa enforced its apartheid system of racial segregation, which ended in 1994.

Lara Logan is a South African-American conspiracy theorist living in Texas.

“We are completely opposed to that,” Ramaphosa said of the behavior alleged by Trump in their exchange. He added, “that is not government policy” and “our government policy is completely, completely against what he was saying.”

Trump was unmoved.

“When they take the land, they kill the white farmer,” he said.

Trump appeared prepared to confront Ramaphosa at the start of the meeting while journalists were present. Videos were cued up on a large TV set to show a clip of an opposition party leader, Julius Malema, leading an old anti-apartheid song.

The song has been contentious for years in the country because of its central lyrics “kill the Boer” and “shoot the Boer” — with Boer a word that refers to a white farmer. Malema, featured in the video, is not part of the country’s governing coalition.

Another clip played showed white crosses on the side of a road, described as a memorial for white farmers who were killed. Ramaphosa seemed baffled. “I’d like to know where that is, because this I’ve never seen.”

Trump kicked off the meeting by describing the South African president as a “truly respected man in many, many circles.” He added: “And in some circles he’s considered a little controversial.”

Ramaphosa chimed in, playfully jabbing back at a U.S. president who is no stranger to controversy. “We’re all like that,” Ramaphosa said.

Trump issued an executive order in February cutting all funding to South Africa over some of its domestic and foreign policies. The order criticized the South African government on multiple fronts, saying it is pursuing antiwhite policies at home and supporting “bad actors” in the world like the Palestinian militant group Hamas and Iran.

Elon Musk has five citizenships. He holds South African, Canadian, British, American and Israeli citizenship. He lives in Texas and Florida.

Trump has falsely accused the South African government of rights violations against white Afrikaner farmers by seizing their land through a new expropriation law. No land has been seized and the South African government has pushed back, saying U.S. criticism is driven by misinformation.

The Trump administration’s references to the Afrikaner people — who are descendants of Dutch and other European settlers — have also elevated previous claims made by Trump’s South African-born adviser Elon Musk and some conservative U.S. commentators that the South African government is allowing attacks on white farmers in what amounts to a genocide.

The administration’s concerns about South African policies cut even deeper than the concerns about white farmers.

South Africa has also angered Trump over its move to bring charges at the International Court of Justice, accusing Israel of committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. Ramaphosa has also faced scrutiny in Washington for his past connections to MTN Group, Iran’s second-largest telecom provider. It owns nearly half of Irancell, a joint venture linked with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Ramaphosa served as board chair of MTN from 2002 to 2013.

Ramaphosa came into the meeting looking to avoid the sort of contentious engagement that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy experienced during his February Oval Office visit, when the Ukrainian leader found himself being berated by Trump and Vice President JD Vance. That disastrous meeting ended with White House officials asking Zelenskyy and his delegation to leave the White House grounds.

The South African president’s delegation included golfers Ernie Els and Retief Goosen, a gesture to the golf-obsessed U.S. president. Ramaphosa brought Trump a massive book about South Africa’s golf courses. He even told Trump that he’s been working on his golf game, seeming to angle for an invitation to the links with the president.

Luxury goods tycoon and Afrikaner Johann Rupert was also in the delegation to help ease Trump’s concerns that land was being seized from white farmers.

At one point, Ramaphosa called on Zingiswa Losi, the president of a group of South African trade unions, who told Trump it is true that South Africa is a “violent nation for a number of reasons.” But she told him it was important to understand that Black men and women in rural areas were also being targeted in heinous crimes.

“The problem in South Africa, it is not necessarily about race, but it’s about crime,” Losi said. “We are here to say how do we, both nations, work together to reset, to really talk about investment but also help … to really address the levels of crime we have in our country.”

Musk also attended Wednesday’s talks. He has been at the forefront of the criticism of his homeland, casting its affirmative action laws as racist against whites.

Musk has said on social media that his Starlink satellite internet service isn’t able to get a license to operate in South Africa because he is not Black.

South African authorities say Starlink hasn’t formally applied. It can, but it would be bound by affirmative action laws in the communications sector that require foreign companies to allow 30% of their South African subsidiaries to be owned by shareholders who are Black or from other racial groups disadvantaged under apartheid.

The South African government says its long-standing affirmative action laws are a cornerstone of its efforts to right the injustices of the white minority rule of apartheid, which denied opportunities to Blacks and other racial groups.

Following the contentious exchange in front of the cameras, Trump hosted Ramaphosa for lunch and further talks.

Ramaphosa, speaking to reporters following his White House visit, downplayed Trump’s criticism, adding he believes “there’s doubt and disbelief in (Trump’s) head” about his genocide charge. He insisted they did not dwell on Trump’s concerns about white farmers in their private conversation.

“You wanted to see drama and something really big happening,” Ramaphosa told reporters following his White House visit. “And I’m sorry that we disappointed you somewhat when it comes to that.”

LaMonica McIver: The DOJ Running A Kangaroo Court!

Maybe Trump should pardon LaMonica McIver. He pardoned and commuted the sentences of Jan. 6 rioters who attacked police.

Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) is being criminally charged for assualt on a federal officer. It was unveiled by media personality Alina Habba.

Habba is appointed interim U.S. Attorney for New Jersey. 

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

So this month, the mayor of Newark, New Jersey was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement for trespassing. The U.S. Department of Justice was planning on throwing a criminal indictment on Ras Baraka for interference. They ended up dropping the charges.

As explained by former vice president Kamala Harris, President Donald J. Trump will abuse his power by arresting individuals because of political disagreements.

Habba and Attorney General Pam Bondi came to the conclusion, go after Democratic lawmakers.

McIver, 38 has not taken any money from AIPAC or Israeli affiliates. McIver is being watched closely. She is a freshman lawmaker who served since 2024 after Donald Payne, Jr. passed away in office.

Trump is targeting Democrats who stand in his way.

The Democratic Party is having an identity crisis when it comes to electing members. Most of the elected members are over 65 years old and still stuck in the 20th Century with policies that are not up to par with progressives.

McIver performed an oversight visit at an ICE detention facility in Newark. 

Baraka attempted to join the congressional delegation and was arrested for trespassing, but the charges were later dropped. On May 19, 2025, Habba announced that McIver had been charged with assaulting, impeding, and interfering with law enforcement in connection with the incident. 

On May 20th, McIver stated that she rejected a plea deal from the United States Department of Justice.

On May 9, 2025, Baraka, joined by three Democratic representatives from New Jersey—Bonnie Watson Coleman, Rob Menendez, and LaMonica McIver—appeared at Delaney Hall for an unscheduled oversight visit. Coleman, Menendez, and McIver were allowed into the facility for an oversight visit, and video footage showed Baraka being allowed in, contradicting accusations he had barged into the facility without permission. Baraka was then asked to leave and he left voluntarily according to video footage.

Baraka left the center and gathered with protesters in a public area. He was then arrested by masked federal agents in military fatigues and taken to a federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Newark during a chaotic scuffle.

He was released from a Department of Homeland Security field office hours later.

Gerry Connolly Passed Away!

Gerry Connolly is the latest Democratic lawmaker to die while in office.

Ineffective leadership continues to plague the Democratic Party. With former president Joe Biden having cancer, and the passings of Sylvester Turner, Raúl Grijalva, Donald Payne and now Gerry Connolly, the leadership has to figure out how to make the party winnable.

President Donald J. Trump, Vice President JD Vance, House Speaker Mike Johnson, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Gov. Glenn Youngkin, House members, Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) and Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) were notified.

David Hogg was right.

The Democratic members are still in the 20th Century thinking. 

Republicans are not ashamed of being far right, authoritarian, racist and discriminatory.

Democrats always want to pander to this. It must stop now.

No more trying to win over white working class voters and disgruntled Republicans. It is time to win back the base.

First things first, stop supporting Israel.

Second, continue fighting against President Donald J. Trump and Vice President JD Vance. 

Third, no more going to districts outside their own. It is a waste of time trying to troll Republicans who refuse to do town halls. Voters are not interested in this unless it personally affect them. Besides you need to stay focused on your district and its problems.

When more ideas come up, use them wisely and stop ignoring the base.

Gerald “Gerry” Connolly, an outspoken Democrat who sought key reforms in the federal government while bringing transformational development to his populous Virginia district, died Wednesday. He was 75.

Connolly, who most recently held a prominent position as the ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, served in Congress for more than 16 years.

He died at home in the company of family members, his family said in a statement. Connolly announced in 2024 that he had esophageal cancer and said a few months later that he planned to retire from Congress. His death leaves House Republicans with a 220-212 majority.

The spirited and at times bullheaded Fairfax Democrat became known for his voluble nature and willingness to engage in spirited debates. In one hearing, he accused Republicans of engaging in a witch hunt against the IRS, asking a witness if they ever read Arthur Miller’s “The Crucible.”

“I am heartbroken over the loss of my dear friend,” said Democratic Sen. Mark Warner of Virginia. “To me, he exemplified the very best of public service.” He said Connolly “met every challenge with tenacity and purpose, including his final battle with cancer, which he faced with courage, grace, and quiet dignity.”

House Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries said Connolly was a “hardworking, humble and honorable public servant” who used his perch on the Oversight Committee “to push back against the unprecedented attacks on the federal workers in his district and across the country.”

A fixture of Virginia politics for three decades, Connolly was first elected to the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors in 1995. On the county board, he steered the transition of northern Virginia’s Tysons Corner from a traffic-heavy mall area to a downtown business hub.

In 2003, Connolly was elected board chairman, and he continued pushing for transportation investment that had been debated among officials for decades. Connolly sought billions in state and federal dollars to develop the regional rail system’s Silver Line connecting the national capital region to Tysons Corner.

Connolly’s dream was realized with the Silver Line’s opening in 2014, and eight years later, the rail line was extended an extra 11 miles (18 kilometers) to reach Dulles International Airport.

As the extension opened in 2022, Connolly said: “Doing big things is difficult — the world is filled with naysayers.”

Connolly’s local government experience launched his congressional career. He was elected in 2008 after flipping an open Republican-held seat by nearly 42,000 votes. In his victory speech, Connolly said he would use his position to ensure the federal bureaucracy is “a responsive, accountable instrument for the people we serve.”

“If we insist the government must work for all of our citizens again, we cannot fail,” Connolly said.

Connolly got his first taste of Congress while working as a staffer for the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations in the 1980s. Decades later, Connolly became a member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs.

He also served as a member of the House Oversight Committee and led Democrats on subcommittees on government innovation and information technology.

Connolly cosponsored the 2010 Telework Enhancement Act, which requires federal agencies to allow a portion of their employees to telework at least one day a week. In 2014, he cosponsored another bill that reformed federal IT management and has since saved the government billions of dollars, according to the Government Accountability Office.

He also closely followed the financial burden of the slowing U.S. Postal Service, becoming a prominent voice accusing President Donald Trump and former Postmaster General Louis DeJoy of seeking to winnow the postal service to suppress mail-in ballots during the 2020 presidential election.

Connolly reached a new milestone late last year as he was chosen ranking member of the House Oversight Committee. He defeated Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for the position. The victory came shortly after Connolly announced late last year that he had been diagnosed with esophageal cancer and would undergo chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

As ranking member, Connolly called on inspectors general to investigate the Department of Government Efficiency. He and other Democrats also introduced a pair of resolutions demanding the Trump administration turn over documents and information about billionaire adviser Elon Musk’s potential conflicts of interest and the firings of federal workers.

He said in late April that after “grueling treatments,” he learned that the cancer had returned and that he decided to step down from his post on the committee and would not seek reelection.

“With no rancor and a full heart, I move into this final chapter full of pride in what we’ve accomplished together over 30 years,” he said.
