Mass shooting around an exit ramp near Interstate 75 in Laurel County, Kentucky.
I normally do a long posting about the failures of Congress, President Joe Biden, former president Donald J. Trump, former president Barack Obama and former president George W. Bush.
I am just going to flat out say it:
These idiots can't stop gun violence or Israel.
Another mass shooting in the United States and the usual remarks from lawmakers is "thoughts and prayers" or "my heart goes out to."
In the case of how Trump puts it, "we've got to get over it."
I am paraphrasing Trump but that is the shallow theme of his horrible campaign.
Mass shootings so far:
Washington, DC
Milwaukee, WI
Winder, GA
Once again, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Gov. Andy Beshear, the Kentucky U.S. House members, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) will react to the latest mass shooting in London, Kentucky.
The incident happened in Laurel County on Interstate 75. The Laurel County Sheriff is looking for the mass shooter. The shooter identified as Joseph A. Couch. The suspect is a 32-year old white male and is considered armed and dangerous.
The FBI, the ATF and Kentucky State Police will also aide in this search.
Pro gun, anti-Muslim, anti-immigrant and election denier, Rep. Hal Rogers (R-KY) represents the area where this mass shooting occurred.
Interstate 75 is one of the country's most heavily traveled freeways. That stretch carries 65,000 vehicles between Lexington and Knoxville.
The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office said in a post on Facebook that it was an “active shooter situation” and “numerous persons” were shot near the highway. It added that the interstate was closed 9 miles north of London.
In a video statement, London Mayor Randall Weddle said was told seven people were hurt, but not all of those were wounded by gunfire. Some of the victims were injured in a vehicle accident, he said.
“There are no deceased at this time. No one was killed from this, thankfully, but we ask that you continue to pray,” Weddle said.
The sheriff’s office also announced that a “Person of Interest” has been identified in connection with the shooting, saying he should be considered armed and dangerous and people should not approach him. The man’s name was given as Joseph A. Couch, a 32-year-old white male, and anyone with information about his location was urged to call the county 911 center.
A “heavy presence of police and fire personnel” was on the scene and “working diligently to address the situation,” the Mount Vernon Fire Department said in a statement. It advised motorists to avoid I-75 and US 25.
“I am receiving initial reports from the Kentucky State Police and our Office of Homeland Security — together we are actively monitoring the situation and offering support in any way possible,” Gov. Andy Beshear said in a post on the social platform X. “Please pray for everyone involved.”
“We will provide more details once they are available,” Beshear said.
The person of interest in the mass shooting.
To all the Black firearm owners who support the Second Amendment or former president Donald J. Trump in the 2024 presidential race, I just want to say...
"YOU'RE GONNA BE SHOT BY POLICE TOO!"
The National Rifle Association never reacts to lawful exercise of firearm use when a Black, Hispanic, Arab, Muslim, Indigenous, LGBTQ or underage teen of color is carrying them.
It is automatic dehumanizing from the far right, police unions and the junk food media.
When white men, women or even some Asians are carrying firearms, the NRA is often parading them around like they're heroes and protectors of freedom.
In about 45 states, I believe it is lawful for you to walk down a street with a firearm.
If you're a Black man walking down the street with a firearm, the random 911 call or the visual spotting from a police officer merits an automatic drawl of a service weapon.
Police officers within seconds are either shooting or premeditated an excuse to use force.
The unions back up their claims of "fearing for their lives" despite the perpetrator not even firing a round. Given that the junk food media loves to paint the aggressor as the victim, the police officer is given the benefit of doubt. The person police shot usually do not get any ounce of doubt. A mugshot of a suspect or a picture of a person posing with money or firearms automatically draws far right conclusions to justification of force.
Even fleeing from police with a firearm and not even pointing at them results in police shootings.
This area is where the shooting happened.
If a person does survive, the state still charges the person for a crime despite the state allowing open carry and lawful possession.
So I just want to say that the Second Amendment is White, period.
A bullet does not care about color. We all bleed red and so many lives are lost to gun violence and Republicans offer no solutions other than "thoughts and prayers" with a touch of "lock em up."
Gun violence is the number one threat in the United States.
I dismiss this ridiculous notion that criminals are the problem, not the guns. Firearms are often obtained through legal purchases.
Again, having more security, teachers being armed and offering safe rooms are not solving the problem. The problem is lawmakers not willing to stop gun violence.
According to the far right: White shooters are mentally ill. Black shooters are unrepentant thugs and criminals. Gay shooters are active groomers. Muslim shooters are terrorists. Hispanic and Asian shooters are illegal immigrants. According to the far right, almost all white [or non-white] mass shooters are registered Democrats [or some progressive activist] because they have liked or done one thing common to the left. Of course, they often share or post disinformation by using the "Sam Hyde" meme or make bogus social media platforms with the shooter's image as a way to denounce most mass shooters being white or associated with conservative causes. The far right says a white person should "protect" themselves from thugs, terrorists or protesters. They believe the use of firearms are "justified" if they are protesting or even instigating a conflict. The far right believes if a shooter is a police officer, an active military member, a veteran or a citizen who supports conservative causes, they are considered a "heroes" and use of firearms are justified. If the shooters are teens in urban communities, the far right automatically assume the gunmen are Black.
The Republicans usually amplify white victims. Anytime a person of color kills a white victim, it is often wall-to-wall coverage on Fox, Twitter and they force it into national news. They make the case to blame Black Lives Matter, Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, Democrats, Rev. Al Sharpton and rap music for Black on whatever violence. Republican lawmakers who do not live in urban neighborhoods often troll social media to talk about gun violence or crime in Chicago, Baltimore, Milwaukee and New York City while not doing a damn thing to stop it. If a white person shoots a Black person, the shooter is given the benefit of doubt. White shooters are given glowing profiles about their perfect lives and how friends noticed something but refused to do something. When it comes to Black shooters, automatic vilification. They don't see mental illness. They see it as gang violence, allegedly fatherless homes, Democratic policies or the need for more firearms.
Gun violence and Republican lawmaker Hal Rogers will offer thoughts and prayers. He will not support any legislation to stop it.
The far right and Republicans exploit gun violence in the Black community for culture wars and racism.

Let them know that "thoughts and prayers," "hearts going to" and "good guys with guns" are no longer acceptable and you want legislation to curb gun violence. Let them know that we are tired of police officers using immunity when committing death of suspects in custody. Let them know that you are tired of private equity firms getting away with destroying small businesses and long established companies. Let them know that you are tired of your taxpayer money going to foreign nations like Israel. You are tired of hearing about "Israel having a right to..." and the bogus claims of being anti-semitic or in support of terrorism.
We have bigger issues at home and our tax dollars should solve the housing crisis, lowering food prices, fixing roads, bridges, helping reinvest in struggling urban and rural communities. We have hospitals closing, big box retailers leaving communities and television programs dying. There are bigger issues in the country than Israel. You want an immediate ceasefire and accountability for war crimes done by Israel. You want no more foreign influence in American elections. You also want to make sure future presidents and lawmakers avoid influence from lobbyists.
President Joe Biden is "saddened" but not "outraged" over the death of an American woman killer by the Israeli regime.
President Joe Biden will be ranked in the bottom 20. His legacy will be enabling, ignoring and not preventing an act of evil conducted by one of our "allies."
An Israeli settler who was born in the U.S. was killed after 300 days in Gaza and our gun ho lawmakers and law enforcement agencies are trying to push for criminal punishment of those they believe were responsible.
Two Russian media executives funded a far right platform and signal boasted the doofus right. The feds swooped in and shut it down. Now the founders and several of those agitators are under federal watch.
It's not like a foreign country intentionally shut off water, flooded sewers with seawater, cut off food, cut off medicine, disguise themselves as humanitarian workers to infiltrate hospitals, schools, homeless encampments and husks of abandon homes. It's not like they haven't fired on innocent civilians, humanitarian aid workers, doctors, journalists and children.
To this foreign country, everyone is the enemy.
Our tax dollars aid a white nationalist, Jewish supremacist ethnostate. This country is killing American, British, Australian, Canadian, French and Italian people and the world leaders shrug it off.
So the United States has placed a Hamas leader and five others for federal indictments.
The Justice Department announced today the unsealing of terrorism, murder conspiracy, and sanctions-evasion charges against six senior leaders of Hamas, a designated foreign terrorist organization. The charges relate to the defendants’ central roles in planning, supporting, and perpetrating the terrorist atrocities that Hamas committed in Israel on Oct. 7, 2023 (the October 7 Hamas Massacres), involving the murders and kidnappings of countless innocent civilians, including American citizens, which was the culmination of Hamas’s decades-long campaign of terrorism and violence against Israel and its allies, including American citizens. The defendants are either deceased or remain at large.
“The Justice Department has charged Yahya Sinwar and other senior leaders of Hamas for financing, directing, and overseeing a decades-long campaign to murder American citizens and endanger the national security of the United States,” said Attorney General Merrick B. Garland. “On October 7th, Hamas terrorists, led by these defendants, murdered nearly 1200 people, including over 40 Americans, and kidnapped hundreds of civilians. This weekend, we learned that Hamas murdered an additional six people they had kidnapped and held captive for nearly a year, including Hersh Goldberg-Polin, a 23 year old Israeli American. We are investigating Hersh’s murder, and each and every one of Hamas’ brutal murders of Americans, as an act of terrorism. The charges unsealed today are just one part of our effort to target every aspect of Hamas’ operations. These actions will not be our last.”
Throwing rocks at tanks and bulldozers in the West Bank leads to the IDF terrorists killing Palestinians.
“Yahya Sinwar and the other senior leaders of Hamas are charged today with orchestrating this terrorist organization’s decades-long campaign of mass violence and terror — including on October 7th. On that horrible day, Hamas terrorists viciously massacred nearly 1,200 innocent men, women, and children, including over 40 Americans, kidnapped hundreds more, and used sexual violence as a weapon of brutality,” said Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco. “Since that horrific day, we have worked to investigate and hold accountable those responsible, and we will not rest until all those who kidnapped or murdered Americans are brought to justice. Our thoughts continue to be with the families of all the victims of this barbaric terrorist attack.”
“From the moment Hamas launched its horrific attack on October 7, the FBI has been dedicated to identifying and charging those responsible for these heinous crimes,” said FBI Director Christopher Wray. “The FBI has and will continue to relentlessly investigate these attacks on civilians, including Americans. Hamas is a Foreign Terrorist Organization with a long history of violence, and the group’s actions have resulted in increased terrorism threats in the U.S. and against American interests throughout the world. Countering terrorism remains our number one priority, and our work continues.”
“The core mission of the National Security Division is to protect Americans from violent terrorists and extremist organizations like Hamas,” said Assistant Attorney General Matthew G. Olsen of the Justice Department’s National Security Division. “The atrocities committed by Hamas in Israel on October 7 are intolerable, and the Justice Department will not rest in our pursuit to hold Hamas accountable for perpetrating its campaign of terror, death, and destruction.”
“For decades, Hamas and its leadership have dedicated themselves to the eradication of the State of Israel, and to murdering, maiming, and brutalizing anyone — including dozens of Americans — who stood in their way,” said U.S. Attorney Damian Williams for the Southern District of New York. “The October 7 Hamas Massacres – in which over 40 American citizens were murdered – is only the latest act of savagery carried out by Hamas. This office has long been dedicated to serving as a bulwark against terrorism, and striking blows against its leaders. Our commitment is clear: if you hurt one member of our community, you hurt all of us — and we stand with all victims of Hamas’ reign of terror. We will bring justice to this terrorist organization from the top down for the atrocities they have committed.”
Now let's get to reality.
Notice how all these Zionist shills are taking extra steps to call Aysenur Ezgi Eygi a “Turkish American.” The not-so-subtle implication being she’s not a “real” American.
Let’s assume that the American-Israeli hostage Hersh Goldberg-Polin was killed by Hamas in Gaza. It was barbaric and an act of terrorism. Yet, the USA calls the actual killing of the American Turkish citizen, Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi in day light by the IDF in the West Bank a “tragic… pic.twitter.com/RiJRrm3Pq8
American woman was killed by an Israeli sniper and the U.S. has no condemnation, no investigations, no criminal indictments or demands for Israeli leaders to be held accountable.
It will be swept under the rug like every other American who was killed by this evil regime.
The junk food media gave so much attention to the Israeli settlers who were found dead after 11 months of deliberate starvation, depriving of water, depriving of medicine, depriving of necessities as well as the deliberate bombing of homes, schools, hospitals, media centers and homeless encampments.
The family of a 26-year-old American citizen killed amid a protest in the occupied West Bank said an Israeli military shooter killed her, and said an Israeli investigation into the incident would not be enough.
Aysenur Ezgi Eygi, a recent graduate of the University of Washington in Seattle, was fatally shot during a demonstration in Beita on Friday, the International Solidarity Movement (ISM), said.
Eygi's family said, “Aysenur was peacefully standing for justice when she was killed by a bullet that video shows came from an Israeli military shooter.”
“We welcome the White House’s statement of condolences, but given the circumstances of Aysenur’s killing, an Israeli investigation is not adequate,” her family said in a statement.
"We call on President Biden, Vice President Harris, and Secretary of State Blinken to order an independent investigation into the unlawful killing of a U.S. citizen and to ensure full accountability for the guilty parties," they said.
The White House said it has asked Israel's government for more information and requested an investigation. National Security Council spokesman Sean Savett said they were "deeply disturbed" by Eygi's death.
They will not get it and it will be ignored like every other atrocity Israel committed.
World Central Kitchen and UNRWA to name a few.
The ISM said Eygi was taking part in its weekly demonstration in the town of Beita, north of Ramallah, against the expansion of Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
In a statement, the organization said the protest “primarily involved men and children praying” and was met with force by the IDF who fired tear gas before using live ammunition.
The ISM said Eygi was shot in the head and died shortly after she was taken to a hospital in Nablus. Eygi is the 18th demonstrator to be killed in Beita since 2020, and the only non-Palestinian, according to the ISM.
The Israel Defense Forces said it had been in the area next to Beita and “responded with fire toward a main instigator of violent activity who hurled rocks at the forces and posed a threat to them.”
“The IDF is looking into reports that a foreign national was killed as a result of shots fired in the area.” the IDF said. “The details of the incident and the circumstances in which she was hit are under review.”
Eygi was a dual national, also carrying Turkish citizenship. In a statement, Turkey President Recep Erdogan said he condemned Israel’s “barbaric intervention against a civilian protest against the occupation in the West Bank.”
Biden is not calling for the arrest of the IDF terrorists who killed Americans.
Eygi's profile on social networking site LinkedIn says she was a psychology graduate with a minor in Middle Eastern languages and cultures, and that she was committed to under-served communities.
"I’m driven by a passion for making a positive impact and continuously seek opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful projects," she wrote.
The University of Washington in Seattle said that Eygi was a recent graduate, and UW's president called news of her death "awful."
"My heart goes out to Aysenur’s family, friends and loved ones," President Ana Mari Cauce said in a statement. "Aysenur was a peer mentor in psychology who helped welcome new students to the department and provided a positive influence in their lives."
Cauce said Eygi is the second member of the UW community to die in violence in the region. "I again join with our government and so many who are working and calling for a ceasefire and resolution to the crisis," she said.
Eygi's family said in the statement Friday that her killing is an "unimaginable tragedy," and that she had just turned 26. "Aysenur was a loving daughter, sister, partner, and aunt," they said.
"She was gentle, brave, silly, supportive, and a ray of sunshine. She wore her heart on her sleeves. She felt a deep responsibility to serve others and lived a life of caring for those in need with action," the family said. "She was a fiercely passionate human rights activist her whole life–a steadfast and staunch advocate of justice."
Eygi, who graduated from the university three months ago, had taken part in protests on campus while a student and then traveled to the West Bank.
"Aysenur felt compelled to travel to the West Bank to stand in solidarity with Palestinian civilians who continue to endure ongoing repression and violence," they said.
At least two other American citizens have been killed in the West Bank since Oct. 7. Mohammad Ahmed Mohammad Khdour, 17, was killed by IDF troops in February, and Tawfic Hafeth Abdel Jabbar, 17, was killed by Israeli fire in January.
Israeli settlements have expanded rapidly over the past several years, with Israeli settler violence against Palestinians on the rise. In April, Human Rights Watch issued a report alleging that armed settlers forcibly and violently drove out Palestinian residents from at least five West Bank settlements “with the active participation of army units.”
Israeli forces are appearing to withdraw from the city of Jenin and other parts of the West Bank, where the IDF has been carrying out a deadly dayslong operation that has left ruin to neighborhoods across the city and beyond.
In Jenin, the IDF said at least 14 people they identified as terrorists had been killed, including Wassem Hazem, the head of Hamas’ presence in Jenin who they said had directed shooting and explosive attacks in the area.
More than 30 people were also taken into IDF custody as suspects, though the military did not expand on what they were suspected of.
Palestinian health officials had said Thursday that at least 39 people had been killed in the West Bank since Israel launched what it described as an operation to dismantle “terrorist cells” in the territory on Aug. 28.
Many of those killed have been claimed as members of militant groups Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, although the Palestinian health ministry has said at least eight children were also among those killed at the time.
“For over a week, Israeli forces have been using lethal, war-like tactics across the northern West Bank, deepening people’s humanitarian needs and raising concerns over excessive use of force,” the U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said in a humanitarian update published Wednesday.
OCHA said that from Aug. 27 to Sept. 2, Israeli forces had killed 30 Palestinians in the territory, including seven children, “marking the highest weekly death toll since November 2023.”
In 2022, Israel admitted that one of its soldiers fatally shot Palestinian American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, who was covering raids in the occupied West Bank for Al Jazeera at the time. No one in the Israeli army has been prosecuted, and the military has not announced any disciplinary action.
The 46th Vice President of the United States endorsed Kamala Harris.
Where Tulsi Gabbard, Kwame Kilpatrick, Rob Blagojevich, Ruben Diaz Sr.,
Hell frozen over.
This is reliving a man being shot in the face. Dick Cheney shot his endorsement at the 49th Vice President of the United States.
Cheney announced Friday that he will cast his ballot for Vice President Kamala Harris this fall, confirming news that was first made public by his daughter, former Rep. Liz Cheney, earlier in the day.
Both Cheneys are Republicans, and the elder served under President George W. Bush. The younger Cheney, who endorsed Harris earlier this week, is one of former President Donald Trump’s most prominent conservative critics.
"In our nation’s 248-year history, there has never been an individual who is a greater threat to our republic than Donald Trump," Dick Cheney said in a statement. "He tried to steal the last election using lies and violence to keep himself in power after the voters had rejected him. He can never be trusted with power again."
“As citizens, we each have a duty to put country above partisanship to defend our Constitution. That is why I will be casting my vote for Vice President Kamala Harris,” he added.
Harris campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon said that the vice president was “proud” to have Cheney’s support.
“He joins hundreds of Republicans who are backing the Vice President and her patriotic vision of America over former President Trump, because, as Vice President Cheney said, the very future of our republic is at stake in this election,” O’Malley Dillon said in a statement.
In a Truth Social post Friday night, Trump bashed both Cheneys, using the acronym for Republican in Name Only. “Dick Cheney is an irrelevant RINO, along with his daughter, who lost by the largest margin in the History of Congressional Races!" he wrote.
Liz Cheney was ousted in 2021 from her position in House Republican leadership after criticizing Trump. In 2022, she lost her congressional primary race to a Trump-backed challenger.
During the midterm campaign cycle, Dick Cheney taped an advertisement for his daughter’s campaign, in which he called Trump a “coward.”
Cheneys for Harris.
Liz Cheney revealed who her father would vote for during an interview Friday at the Texas Tribune Festival.
"Dick Cheney will be voting for Kamala Harris," she said.
"If you think about the moment that we’re in, and you think about how serious this moment is, my dad believes and he’s said publicly that there’s never been an individual in our country who is as grave a threat to our democracy as Donald Trump is," Cheney added. "And that’s the moment that we’re facing."

"And that’s the moment that we’re facing."
Asked for comment Friday about her remarks, Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung replied, “Who the f--- is Liz Cheney?”
Liz Cheney had said when announcing her support for Harris on Wednesday that people do not have "the luxury of writing in candidates’ names, particularly in swing states."
"Because of the danger that Donald Trump poses, not only am I not voting for Donald Trump, but I will be voting for Kamala Harris," she said.
Cheney said on Friday that she has not spoken with Harris this week.
The former Wyoming congresswoman also said during her Friday interview with The Atlantic's Mark Leibovich that she would support Rep. Colin Allred, D-Texas, in his Senate bid. Allred is challenging Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, who has served in the Senate since 2013.
"Here in Texas, you guys do have a tremendous, serious candidate running for the United States Senate, and his name is —" she paused as the audience cheered and Leibovich asked them to let her speak.
"It’s not Ted Cruz," she said.
Cheney went on to praise Allred's credentials, noting the time she served in the House with him.
"We need people who are going to serve in good faith," Cheney said. "We need people who are honorable public servants, and in this race, that is Colin Allred. So I’ll be working on his behalf."
In a statement, Allred called Cheney a "patriot" and said he was "honored to have her support."
"Though we may not agree on everything, we’ve been able to find common ground by putting our country over political parties," Allred said. "Importantly, we both believe in protecting our democracy, our constitution and the foundational promise of our great country. And we both agree that Texans cannot afford six more years of Ted Cruz."
The Allred campaign also noted that he and Cheney cosponsored more than 50 bills together, a nod to their efforts to work across the aisle.
When reached for comment, a Cruz campaign spokesperson called Cheney “the poster child of flip-flopping.”
“We’re definitely super surprised to hear that Liz Cheney, the poster child of flip-flopping, is endorsing Colin Allred,” the spokesperson said. “Two years ago, the voters of Wyoming overwhelmingly rejected her, just like the voters of Texas will overwhelmingly reject Colin Allred this November. But hey, misery loves company.”
The Cheneys are the latest in a steady stream of Republicans who, despite policy differences, say they plan to cast ballots for Harris.
Last week, more than 200 Republicans who have worked for both Bush presidents, Sen. Mitt Romney and the late Sen. John McCain announced that they are backing Harris.
"Of course, we have plenty of honest, ideological disagreements with Vice President Harris and Gov. Walz. That’s to be expected," said the former staffers said in a statement. "The alternative, however, is simply untenable."
Several prominent GOP critics of Trump, including former Illinois Rep. Adam Kinzinger, appeared onstage at the Democratic National Convention last month to back Harris. In his speech, Kinzinger urged voters to "put country first" and argued that Trump has "suffocated the soul" of the GOP.
Getting closer to hearing former president George W. Bush, former first lady Laura Bush and former vice president Mike Pence to endorse a Democrat for president.
Barbara Bush and Jenna Bush Hager, the daughters of the 43rd President of the United States are likely going to back Vice President Kamala Harris.
Hager is a NBC News host and Today correspondent. She can't endorse a candidate as she is a journalist.
Benny Johnson, Dave Rubin and Tim Pool are facing allegations of taking cash from Russian operatives under investigation by the DOJ.
Benny Johnson, Tim Pool And The Doofus Right Stooged For Russia!
The most dumbest far right media personalities are under federal watch.
Former president Donald J. Trump openly asked for foreign countries like Russia, China and Israel to meddle in the 2024 election.
Benny Johnson, perhaps the most dumbest media personality after Jim Hoft [The Gateway Pundit] is denying the allegations of him being a puppet of Russia. He is a puppet of Israel though.
Many of these right wing agitators are bankrolling on pushing the conspiracy theories about President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
Even some who were affiliated with the Tenet Media Group are getting hit up.
Lauren Southern was fired from Blaze Media after the renovations were revealed.
Tenet Media is an American right-wing media company founded by Lauren Chen and her husband Liam Donovan in January 2022. Tenet Media features six right-wing influencers, including Matt Christiansen, Tayler Hansen, Benny Johnson, Tim Pool, Dave Rubin, and Lauren Southern. It describes itself as a "network of heterodox commentators that focus on western political and cultural issues".
See if they were being bankrolled by Israel, the U.S. Justice Department will ignore it like they've ignored the settlers committing violent acts on Americans or the IDF committing war crimes. Hell, they could have arrested Benjamin Netanyahu since he has a warrant for his arrest thanks to the International Criminal Court but chose not to.
Lauren Southern jobless again.
Two Russian nationals were federally indicted by the United States Justice Department (DOJ) on September 4, 2024 for their alleged activities relating to Tenet. The company was identified only as "Company-1" in the indictment but descriptive information allowed several media sources to identify it as Tenet. According to an unsealed indictment, the two indicted Russians were employees of the Russian state-controlled media company RT who were charged with failing to register as a foreign agent, and allegedly funneling around $10 million into Tenet in order to "distribute content to U.S. audiences with hidden Russian government messaging". Some of the influencers, including Pool, Rubin, and Johnson, have responded by claiming to be victims of the Russian disinformation campaign. Attorney general Merrick Garland said Tenet "never disclosed to the influencers or to their millions of followers its ties to RT and the Russian government." Prosecutors also allege the $10 million was a Russian money-laundering operation.
Around February 2023, Tenet sought to hire two right-wing commentators with 2.4 million YouTube subscribers and 1.3 million YouTube subscribers to produce videos. The two eventually signed on, and "Commentator-1" and "Commentator-2" each received over $400,000 per month for producing political videos for Tenet.
The indictment alleges the Tenet founders masked its Russian funding by creating a fictitious persona of a wealthy European sponsor, "Eduard Grigoriann." The charged Russian nationals, Kostiantyn Kalashnikov and Elena Afanasyeva, were involved in day to day operations of Tenet by fall 2023, using false names to conceal they were Russian RT employees. The indictment alleges the founders acknowledged in private communications that their actual "investors" were the "Russians."
Following the indictment, YouTube terminated Tenet Media and other channels run by Chen. Prior to its removal, Tenet had around 316,000 subscribers.
On the day of the indicment, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) announced that despite innumerable calls for their organization to be sought after by the U.S. Government under identical charges, the American-Israeli organization claims that all of their activities are run in the open, that there is no organized conspiracy, that all of their "foreign" funding of government officials is done in the open, leaving no room for conspiracy, that by the very definition of the word "conspiracy" which is defined as "secret plan", all of their "foreign" finances are in the open, in public domain, and not done in secret, leaving no room for conspiracies.
More jobs. Biden keeps the jobs coming and it makes Harris stronger.
Of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, the jobs report details how many jobs were spread across the United States. Some areas seen job growth while others saw job losses.
For the month of August, the jobs report shows the U.S. economy created slightly fewer jobs than expected in August, reflecting a slowing labor market while also clearing the way for the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates later this month.
Nonfarm payrolls expanded by 142,000 during the month, up from 89,000 in July and below the 161,000 consensus forecast from Dow Jones, according to a report Friday from the Labor Department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics.
At the same time, the unemployment rate ticked down to 4.2%, as expected.
The labor force expanded by 120,000 for the month, helping push the jobless level down by 0.1 percentage point, though the labor force participation rate held at 62.7%. An alternative measure that includes discouraged workers and those holding part-time jobs for economic reasons edged up to 7.9%, its highest reading since October 2021.
The household survey, which is used to calculate the unemployment rate and is often more volatile than the survey of establishments, showed employment growth of 168,000. The balance, though, tilted toward part-time employment, which increased by 527,000, while full-time fell by 438,000.
Markets showed little initial reaction to the data, with stock futures holding negative and Treasury yields also lower.
While the August numbers were close to expectations, the previous two months saw substantial downward revisions. The BLS cut July’s total by 25,000, while June fell to 118,000, a downward revision of 61,000.
“I don’t like this a whole lot. It’s not disaster, but it’s below expectations on the headline, and what really bothers me is the revisions,” said Dan North, senior economist for North America at Allianz Trade. “This is certainly going the wrong way.”
Trump is struggling. Since the assassination attempt and Biden's departure, the former president isn't connecting with voters.
From a sector standpoint, construction led with 34,000 additional jobs. Other substantial gainers included health care, with 31,000, and social assistance, which saw growth of 13,000. Manufacturing lost 24,000 on the month.
On wages, average hourly earnings increased by 0.4% on the month and 3.8% from a year ago, both higher than the respective estimates for 0.3% and 3.7%. Hours worked nudged higher to 34.3.
The report comes with markets on edge over the next step for the Fed, which has been on hold with rates since July 2023 after having enacted a series of sharp increases to bring down inflation.
Heading into the release, markets had been pricing in a 100% probability that the Fed will start cutting rates when it meets Sept. 17-18. The only question was how much.
Following the payrolls release, futures market pricing briefly tilted towards a half percentage point cut but then switched back to a quarter point, according to the CME Group’s FedWatch gauge.
“For the Fed, the decision comes down to deciding which is the bigger risk: reigniting inflation pressures if they cut by 50 [basis points] or threatening recession if they only cut by 25 [basis points],” said Seema Shah, chief global strategist at Principal Asset Management. “On balance, with inflation pressures subdued, there is no reason for the Fed not to err on the side of caution and frontload rate cuts.”
The recent narrative for the economic data has indicated continuing growth but a slowdown for the labor market. Payrolls processing firm ADP reported Thursday that private companies added just 99,000 jobs in August, while outplacement firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas reported that layoffs surged in August and hiring had hit its slowest year-to-date pace going back to at least 2005.
The BLS report indicated that the private sector added 118,000 jobs for the month, up from 74,000 in July. Government jobs increased by 24,000.
Most Fed officials have indicated that they also see rates coming down. In his pivotal annual speech at the Fed’s annual Jackson Hole, Wyoming, conclave, Chair Jerome Powell proclaimed that “the time has come” to adjust policy, though he provided no specifics for what that meant.
In a speech Friday morning, New York Fed President John Williams endorsed rate cuts.
“With the economy now in equipoise and inflation on a path to 2 percent, it is now appropriate to dial down the degree of restrictiveness in the stance of policy by reducing the target range for the federal funds rate,” Williams said in remarks before the Council on Foreign Relations in New York.

The current president, Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. is stuck between a rock and a hard place. He will serve one term and now in his lame duck term, his job approval is rising.
The junk food media is ignoring the accomplishments. Biden is facing blowback from his support of Israel, the constant mention of Republican rival former president Donald J. Trump and the repeated campaign to tarnish his son Hunter.
You know the junk food media ain't talking about Hunter Biden or Biden corruption now that he exited the race. Sean "Softball" Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, Mark Levin, Fox, Breitbart are more concerned about Harris laughing, her Blackness and this made up border czar nonsense.
Trump is still telling Americans that if he doesn't win, there will be all out war. He still is telling the world that if he gets in he will finish what he started.
Republicans still can't govern in the House of Representatives. They are pushing authoritarianism in states they have control of. They are banning swatting, honing and regulations on testing. But when it comes to firearms, they refuse to do something.
Republicans are using dog whistles when talking about Harris, Israel, crime, immigration and gun violence.
1. Hamas are terrorist to Israel and the United States. Those who support Hamas or defend their actions are labeled terrorist sympathizers, antisemitic, traitors, unpatriotic, radicals or whatever they conjure up.
2. Gun violence is the No. 1 threat to children and adults. When gun violence happen in Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Atlanta, Washington, DC, Detroit and Baltimore, a Republican lawmaker wants to blame gun violence on Democratic mayors instead of the Congress.
3. Immigration is right now at record lows. The world views the U.S. as a hostile country and migrants from the Global South are beginning to ban American influence. They fear a Trump presidency could cause instability. Republicans are pushing for border closures, border/segregation walls, mass deportations, elimination of birthright citizenship, end of legal rights to Americans married to immigrants and push for English only. They also want to ban immigrants or student visas. They want to deport any immigrant who protest Israel or Trump.
4. Crime is at record lows. But property theft is up. Shoplifting, the Kia/Hyundai challenge, gun violence, white collar crimes and cybertheft have occurred. But again its racial dog whistles. Many corporations are getting away with greed and theft of wages. Many Americans are tired of paying more for less product. Kia and Hyundai are still facing criticism over this Kia Boyz nonsense. Walgreens, Rite Aid, CVS, Wexman are on their last legs. Walmart, Target and Kroger are closing stores in predominantly Black and Latino neighborhoods. Republicans are pushing for more mandatory sentences for theft. Democrats want to push for regulations on shrinkflation and theft of wages. Republicans oppose overtime and regulations to keep corporations from raising product prices.
Republicans want political revenge. Trump wants to jail his rivals. He may get that wish if he does return to power. This is not a joke. We ignored the threats in 2016 and 2020. It seems like we are going to do this again.
Do not assume that every place has jobs. Companies are closing up shop. The tech industry, retail, trucking and press are laying off workers. The service industry is continuing to suffer due to stagnant wages, lack of achievements and work overload.
Also, housing is still down. More Americans can't afford rent or car payments.

House members passed a bill to define antisemitism in attempt to suppress freedom of speech. The insufferable House of Representatives in a bipartisan moment are trying to criminalize thought and dissent.
They are now trying to outlaw any criticism of Israel as hate speech which could be punishable by sanctions, divestment or allowing companies to terminate employment of anyone who dares criticizes Israel.
Let me get this straight: You are more upset over words than actions. You are upset someone using their freedom of speech to criticize a foreign country engaged in a propaganda campaign to shield itself from war crimes and impunity. You are upset over people using their voices, their wallets and their time to protest an injustice. Well, get upset over your taxpayer money aiding foreign nations. Get upset over foreign nations killing Americans in a war funded by our taxpayer money. Get upset over the deaths of thousands in Haiti, Chad, Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Syria, Venezuela, Myanmar, Mexico, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Ukraine and Palestine. Get upset at your president, your senator, your representative, your governor, your state leader, your mayor and your local junk food media for bowing to the evil regime of Israel.
The Congress has less work than most Americans. It is infuriating that the average worker works more 50 hours a week while 157 House members and 36 senators work on average of 25 hours a week.
Republicans see the only path to victory is basically obstruct and complain about the president and vice president. They won't offer solutions or policies. All they care about is trying to keep folks angry with culture wars and distractions.
To make this clear, it doesn't matter anymore who the fucking president is. Biden, Harris, Trump and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. are backing Israel over the world. They are so out of touch with reality.
Liz Cheney backs Harris.
Holding Biden accountable for his actions doesn't mean a lockstep vote and support.
I. Am. Calling. Him. Out.
Biden is an advocate of war and genocide. He is tone deaf and unfortunately a lost cause.
What pisses me off is our lawmakers are calling protesters "Hamas supporters" to paint peaceful protests as an act of "terrorism."
With billions of dollars of aid going to Israel, you would think that American lawmakers would have our taxpayer money spent on more useful things!
The lawmakers will spend more taxpayer money to fix our crumbling infrastructure.
Many of these Republicans who vote against funding the government and assistance for some of America's less fortunate are willing to give billions to a foreign nation engaged in an illegal act of genocide. Same with Democrats. They claim they want to protect democracy but endorse a fascist government sworn to being an ethnostate on our taxpayer dime.

Monthly reminders:
The coronavirus doesn't care about your age, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, politics, economic or social standings. It doesn't care about your business, your performances, your personal finances and travel. It doesn't care about the funerals, the birthday parties, the weddings, the vacations, the events and your graduations.
An active shooter doesn't care about the politics, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, your finances, your family, your plans that day, your successes, your failures, and most importantly, your life.

Domestic violence, suicide, racism, culture war inspired, politically motivated and international operative inspired are types of gun violence.
Food prices, energy prices, rent, city services and college education have risen. Companies are struggling to find workers. They are now trying to push incentives to get workers in. However, there is always a catch to working entry level jobs that make over $20 an hour. Folks must work hours that do not accommodate home and social life, it may only be part time work or temporary. Some jobs may force overtime or refuse to pay for work rendered. With unions being weaken by states, it may be an at-will company. So if you are on social media, protesting injustices, supporting controversial issues or making threats to local officials; you could lose your job.

Jobs are looking good despite fears.
Companies are cautious about hiring employees. With the average wages stagnant, many are not looking forward to returning to a job that pays dirt wages. Many who worked in the retail, restaurant and low end service industry are not willing to take a job for less than $10 an hour. Matter of fact, no one can survive on $15 an hour.
Republicans don't see the bigger picture itself. They rather continue to believe in conspiracies about people collecting the safety net and not going back to work.
Give them a liveable wage and maybe things might improve in the job market.
We can't always assume that folks are lazy. People are literally dying from being exposed to the coronavirus, gun violence and folks are tired of the status quo of their jobs.
Many single mothers are having trouble trying to find quality daycare or family members to watch children. On top of that, some have lost family members due to the pandemic. A homemaker may have lost their spouse. Some may have no choice but to watch their children or loved ones due to the aftermath of the pandemic.
Anuel A.A. latest American rapper to endorse Trump.
Folks are still trying to rebound from medical bills, late rent payments, owing taxes and college loans.
Republicans are white nationalists without a conscience.
Trump's presidency and Republican controlled governments are incompetent. Their leadership has killed millions of Americans. Biden has a slim majority in Congress and things can't be done with obstruction from both parties.
Holding these lawmakers accountable is not just a pledge, but a promise. You need to learn who represents your community. Your local community member, your school board member, your mayor, your state representative, your state senator, your governor, your U.S. Representative, your U.S. Senator and the president need to be held accountable for their actions.
We need to put pressure on Republicans and Democrats to do something to improve everyone's lives.
Keep pressure on them with Israel.
Israel must be held accountable for war crimes and the U.S. must end its aid. Our taxpayer money should not help Israel any further.
They are feeling it. Democrats know the risk of supporters being turned off by their policies. They know that President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are under extreme pressure to do something. Some Arab Americans, Muslim and young voters have vowed to never back Harris putting her election chances in danger.

Atlanta based rapper and media personality has passed away.
One month shy of his 34th birthday, Dequantes Devontay Lamar was associated with the Think Its A Game group [TIG], Birdman's Rich Gang and Young Thug.

Rich Homie Quan is still my ringtone when I heard his smash single "Walk Thru".
The Fulton County Medical Examiner said in a statement that Atlanta's Grady Memorial Hospital notified its personnel Thursday of the rapper's death.
He was 33, the office said.
A cause and manner of death was not released. An autopsy has been scheduled for Friday, the medical examiner said.
The artist, whose given name is Dequantes Devontay Lamar, scored a big hit more than a decade ago with the song “Type of Way.” He followed it up in 2015 with “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh).”
Rapper Boosie Badazz posted about his friend’s death on social media.
He said the two had “GOOD ASS MEMORIES TOGETHER N THAT GO ALWAYS BRING A SMILE TO MY FACE. #restupquan.”
Boosie Badazz said the two artists were collaborating together before Rich Homie Quan's death.
Rich Homie Quan's family and his management representatives could not be reached for comment Thursday afternoon.
Mark Dantonio, the former head football coach at Michigan State University, posted a picture on X of him and Rich Homie Quan embracing after Dantonio's team won the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1, 2014.
"Type of way" became the squad's celebratory anthem for the season. Players and coaches danced to the smash hit in the locker room following their 24-20 win over Stanford University.
Young Thug is prevented from contacting Rich Homie Quan's family because of the Georgia prosecutor Fani Willis believes he is eluding criminal acts while on trial.
"RIP @RichHomieQuan Special Time, Special Place with Special People," Dantonio wrote, ending the post with an emoji of praying hands.
That same year, Rich Homie Quan was named to rap publication XXL’s coveted inaugural Freshman Class, Variety reported. Others named by the magazine include Chance the Rapper, Ty Dolla $ign and Kevin Gates.
During his career, he was nominated for several BET and BET Hip Hop Awards including best new artist and people’s champ award, Variety reported.
