Last year, a woman decapitated a man who she briefly dated. She is on trial for murder.
During her preliminary hearing, she lunged at her defense attorney before being subdued by sheriff's deputies.

The monster was arrested by the Green Bay Police after a family member discovered the remains of the victim inside a bucket.
The monster killed and dismembered Shad Thyrion during a drug-fueled sex session — dumping his head and penis in a bucket and his legs in a crockpot.
The footage shows she was quickly wrestled to the ground by a deputy after the judge in the case indicated he was going to delay the monster's trial set for next month.
Attorney Quinn Jolly, who was attacked, told Brown County Judge Thomas Walsh he planned to file a motion asking to be removed from the case, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette.
The monster is held on a $2 million is being evaluated for mental illness.
The monster allegedly told police they were “going to have fun trying to find all of the organs,” WBAY reported.
The mutilated victim in the ghastly crime Thursday was a 25-year-old Thyrion whom investigators have not identified but social media quickly identified it.
On Tuesday, the monster made her first appearance in Brown County Court via video conference on charges of first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse and third-degree sexual assault.
Prosecutors said the sexual assault charge is for acts that took place after the man was dead, WBAY reported.
Thot high on meth killed man after they had sex.
She said “police were going to have fun trying to find all of the organs as she dismembered the body. Schabusiness stated all of the body parts should be in the basement,” according to the complaint.
“Schabusiness stated she used knives that she obtained from the kitchen of the residence and that a bread knife worked the best because of the serrated blade,” the complaint continues.
The monster said she “did get paranoid and lazy and that she thought it was the ‘dope’ that was making her paranoid,” the document adds.
She also said she planned on taking all the body parts with her but “got lazy and only ended up putting the leg/foot in the van and she forgot the head,” according to the complaint.
The monster appeared calm and said very little during her court appearance Tuesday, only acknowledging she has the right to legal counsel, the outlet reported.
The monster had recently been put on probation and was supposed to be wearing an electronic monitoring bracelet but apparently managed to remove it, WBAY reported. The reason for her probation was unclear.
Assistant District Attorney Caleb Saunders called last week’s harrowing crime “one of the most serious offenses we’ve had in this county in some time.”
“I think the facts alleged are extremely concerning and disturbing and go to the violent nature and grave nature of the offense,” he said.
The suspect faces LIFE in the iron college if convicted. She is designated a potential dangerous individual and maybe on suicide watch. The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Chicago mayor's race advances to a run off. The incumbent, Lori Lightfoot will not advance. She was defeated by Paul Vallas and Brandon Johnson.
Lightfoot conceded and went on to congratulate them on advancing to the runoff in April.
She was the first African American woman and first openly gay mayor of America's third largest city.
The noise won on culture wars like crime. Crime is a huge issue due to gun violence and gangs.
Lightfoot, a Democrat, failed to get enough votes in the nine-person race to move on to an April 4 runoff election, according to projections by The Associated Press.
Paul Vallas, a former CEO of Chicago schools, will face Brandon Johnson, a Cook County commissioner endorsed by the Chicago Teachers Union.
Ideologically, the choice between Vallas and Johnson is stark. Vallas ran as a moderate law-and-order candidate, while Johnson ran on an unabashedly progressive agenda.
But Chicagoans sent a message that they wanted change, rejecting both an incumbent mayor and a sitting congressman. Lightfoot is the first incumbent elected Chicago mayor to lose re-election since 1983, when Jane Byrne, the city's first female mayor, lost her primary.
Lightfoot conceded defeat Tuesday night at her party in downtown Chicago, saying, "Obviously we didn't win the election today, but I stand here with my head held high."
Lightfoot has been dogged by persistent crime, which has been a top concern among Chicagoans. Crime spiked during her term, though she has repeatedly touted that it dropped year-over-year in 2022.
Vallas was widely expected to emerge from the first round of voting, having built his campaign around a tough-on-crime theme and garnering support in the vote-rich northern and northwestern sides of the city. He also got the backing of the Chicago Fraternal Order of Police.
"We will have a safe Chicago. We will make Chicago the safest city in America," he said Tuesday night.
The race foe mayor continues on.
It's a bitter end to a tumultuous tenure for Lightfoot, who quickly developed an image as a national lightning rod for conservatives and repeatedly clashed with institutional interests, from the Chicago Teachers Union to the media to the police rank and file. She was at times lauded for her handling of the pandemic but saw violent riots in the wake of George Floyd's death at the hands of a white police officer in Minneapolis.
Lightfoot faced long odds and was in danger of an early re-election knockout. Having lost the support she once held along Chicago’s lakeshore neighborhoods and with major labor unions working against her, she was among seven Black candidates competing for votes among the city’s Black population. She faced stiff competition, particularly from Johnson, who had the backing and organizational benefits of the powerful Chicago Teachers Union, as well as Willie Wilson, a Black entrepreneur who had been polling ahead of Johnson.
Lightfoot's unfavorable ratings have soared with Chicagoans fed up with gun violence, as well as carjackings and robberies. And despite being the sitting mayor, she routinely failed to lead in recent polling, falling behind Vallas and Democratic Rep. Jesús "Chuy" Garcia. Later in the election, she took specific aim at Johnson, which many saw as a sign that her internal numbers showed him as a growing threat.
On the issue of crime, under Lightfoot, Chicago in 2021 recorded the most killings in a quarter-century, 797, and more than 3,500 shootings — which was 1,400 more than were recorded in 2019, when Lightfoot first took office. Lightfoot has made a point of noting that violence had eased by the end of last year.
But that hasn't eased anxieties among Chicagoans. A recent poll said 63% of Chicagoans said they didn't feel safe.
The bash Democrats and culture war conference which is called CPAC is held. Its leader Matt Schlapp faces sexual abuse allegations.
CNUTS 2023.
CPAC is hosting their event and straw poll.
BE WARNED TALK OF SEXUAL ABUSE IS DISCUSSED!
The American Conservative Union is hosting the Conservative Political Action Conference is back in Washington, DC after being in Orlando and Dallas. The annual convention is now marred with controversy. Its president and CEO is under fire for an alleged sexual assualt and it has made some Republicans nervous about showing up.
Matt Schlapp is accused of groping a man on his penis and allegedly asking for sex. He was drunk when he open handedly unzipped the accuser's pants and tried to fondle him.
Schlapp tried to downplay the accusations by claiming the accuser is a liberal hack.
The accuser worked on behalf of the washed up celebrity Herschel Walker and his failed 2022 bid for Georgia senate.
Some lawmakers appear to distance themselves from CPAC. Others are going.
Washed Up 45 is an alleged sexual predator. It's no surprise he will appear. He wants to male sure he takes the bulk of Republican support if there's a race with multiple candidates.
The usual suspects are the ones who rarely appear in their districts. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) are notable. They are the least effective members of the House and Senate, respectively. The members are conspiracy theorists and worthless politicians.
Then of course, Rep. James Comer (R-KY), Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) and Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL). They are do-something but flip when pressure comes to them. They dabble in conspiracy theories like the least effective members. Rep. Wes Hunt (R-TX) will join Donalds in being the two Black Republicans elected to the House to speak.
The rest are noise makers. Tulsi Gabbard, Kash Patel, Nikki Haley, Maj Toure and Jack Brewer will be the sell outs for handouts.
Chaya Raichik, Mark Levin, Todd Sterns, Bill Walton, Jack Posobiec, Tom Fitton and Brent Bozell will sharing their white extremist platforms.
The rest will be a hodge podge of noisy lawmakers and white extremists parading on culture wars and name calling. Attacking President Joe Biden and Democrats while claiming their more patriotic than others.
Noise noise noise!
Notably absent is Florida governor Ron DeSantis. He will be skipping CPAC. Also Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) is not attending. Even former vice president Mike Pence will not be there. Far right agitator Candace Owens will not attend as well. Same goes Tucker Carlson, Softball Hannity, Charlie Kirk, Scott Presler and Silk (of Diamond & Silk).
The abandonment of CPAC, which runs from Wednesday through Saturday, comes as its chairman, Schlapp, defends himself against a lawsuit alleging that he fondled a male aide to then-Senate candidate Herschel Walker in Georgia in October, without the aide's consent.
In a filing in a Virginia court this month, Schlapp's lawyers wrote that he denies having committed sexual battery.
Schlapp's wife Mercedes was briefly a communications director for Washed Up 45. They both were regulars on CNN and Fox. They have not been on either network since the allegations surfaced.
Leftist appears on CNN to trash the federal response to East Palestine, Ohio and won praise from the far right. Let me be clear, Norfolk Southern is responsible for the clean up, restitution and restoration of that east Ohio village. The federal government was there upon the derailment on Feb. 3.
The noise is still fuming over the president not coming to East Palestine after one of the worst train derailments in modern history. Many train derailments happen and I don't believe any president ever visited the site as far as I known.
Why should he come and put a 25 mile restriction on travel for a photo op?
What can he do?
Nothing.
He already gave the village as much as the federal government can and the state has to declare a federal disaster to get it. Still no call as of yet.
Hell, there was a deadly mass shooting at Michigan State University and the Republicans did not respond to it nor showed an ounce of concern to it. There were 15 mass shootings and daily gun violence in the United States and yet no response from Republicans.
One train derailment became a fucking culture war. This leftist who embrace the noise of extremists lost twice in a special primary and normal primary against a local politician who knows what her district is.
She is a biter person with a orange nose.
That be Nina Turner.
CNN guest SNAPS on-air over Democrats ignoring suffering of Americans in East Palestine because they voted for Trump— ADMITS quiet part OUT LOUD🔥 pic.twitter.com/gP6WoubXaP
"For the neoliberals to say that the residents of that area deserve what they are getting because they voted for President Donald J. Trump, it is abhorrent," she said. "This is about poverty. This is about poor, working-class, White people who are enduring some of the same things that poor working-class Black people endure whether it’s Flint, Cleveland, or Jackson, Mississippi."
The state governor Mike DeWine got a call from President Joe Biden immediately. The governor decline federal assistance and allowed a control burn which led to a massive spread of health problems for those living in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Gov. Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania asked for federal assistance and got it. DeWine waited two weeks before finally asking EPA chief Michael Regan to come. They did a photo op by drinking the water to a skeptical crowd of reporters.
Washed Up 45, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) and Rep. Bill Johnson (R-OH) came for the latter's campaign for president in 2024. The former president has no real solutions other than trolling and embracing East Palestine mayor Trent Conway, a hardcore conspiracy theorist.
When the train derailment happened, Biden, DeWine, Shapiro, Vice President Kamala Harris, Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH), Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) and Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) quickly responded through social media to inform that they were aware. Vance waited 11 days because he was too busy trolling. He was infamous for posing with a Bushmaster aiming at the sky. He was trying to shoot down the Chinese balloon that was over 75,000 feet.
Turner, a leftist who thought she was the anointed candidate of choice for a Black district in Ohio lost to Shontel Brown, a local politician who had little name recognition and little money. Brown who doesn't even live in the 6th district said that she will do all she can to help.
Turner brought a circus to the 11th district, a strongly Democratic area that supported Biden over Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) by 60 points. Turner won only white support because she was tone deaf to the district.
She did not use her millions of campaign donations for outreach to Black voters. Her comments about Biden being a half a bowl of shit was her downfall. Turner still refuses to acknowledge that she is just not electable.
May we remind her that she lost to Jon Husted, then Secretary of State now Lt. Gov. of Ohio by 30 points!
Turner is not electable in any election. She can't win in Ohio nor Maryland. If she tries to run for anything, expect someone who's not Nina Turner to win.
Why CNN hired her is beyond me?
They should have gave her the ax. I thought she was on The Young Turks network anyway.
Rep. Shontel Brown (D-OH) and Rep. Emilia Sykes (D-OH) won because they understand who their constituents are. Sykes has a swing district which due to Ohio's controversial redistricting places her district in a +3 Republican and Brown in a +30 Democrat. Rep. Joyce Beatty (D-OH) now has a +10 Democrat, Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-OH) has a +6 Republican and Rep. Greg Landsman (D-OH) has a +2 Democrat.
It appears that Warner Bros. Discovery has decided to cancel two popular court shows.
David Zaslav, the CEO of WBD is an idiot. He and Chris Licht have turned CNN into trash.
Zaslav has sold The CW to Nexstar and they are turning it into trash.
Zaslav has decided to ax Harvey Levin's two shows.
Daytime television staples, "Judge Mathis" and "The People's Court," will end after each has spent more than two decades on air.
"Mathis" will be ending on its 24th season while "The People's Court" will end on its 26th season, a source familiar with the situation but not authorized to speak publicly tells USA TODAY. Both final seasons are currently airing new episodes.
The syndicated Warner Bros. TV programs feature Greg Mathis and Marilyn Milian, respectively, as they preside over disagreeing parties with situations to be settled by binding arbitration in a courtroom set.
Mathis, a former District Court judge in Michigan, first appeared on air in the pilot episode in 1998, according to IMDb. Twenty years later in 2018, the show earned a Daytime Emmy for outstanding court program.
Judge Marilyn Milian of The People's Court.
"The People's Court" first aired in 1997 as a revival of the original show which ran from the 1980s to 1993. In the first season, former New York City mayor Ed Koch sat at the bench. In 1999 Judge Jerry Sheindlin, who is married to "Judge Judy" star Judy Sheindlin, took the reigns. In 2001 Milian, a former Miami Circut Court judge, wore the lead robe.
During Milian's "The People's Court" tenure, the show earned four Daytime Emmys.
The current season of "Judge Mathis" was filmed throughout 2022. In November, Mathis celebrated the final days of filming by dancing to The Jackson 5's "Dancing Machine" in court attire.
"This is how I’m feeling after a long day of work. We’re wrapping up Season 24 of Judge Mathis and tonight we dance," he tweeted.
In 2022 Mathis' other reality TV venture, "Mathis Family Matters" premiered on E! in June and follows he and his wife, Linda Reese, through life with their children and grandchildren.
Republicans who don't live in Atlanta support Buckhead to secede.
The city of Atlanta is fuming at Republican lawmakers who approved a controversial decision to allow its neighborhood Buckhead to form its own government.
The Republicans who approved it don't live in Atlanta.
The city denounced it as racism.
Culture wars are common within the Republican Party. They want to scapegoat issues on the poor and vulnerable for political gains. It happens every time Democrats take control of government.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), the insufferable white nationalist lawmaker from Rome which is 100 miles from Atlanta supports the move and said that if anyone denounces it, they're for crime. Greene supports a civil war (uh, national divorce).
It was decided on partisan votes.
It was considered very unpopular with residents living in Atlanta. The ones who support the move are those who don't live in Buckhead let alone the metro Atlanta area.
Bill White, a gay white nationalist has pushed the move to secede since 2018. The white nationalist has wrote and spoke coded language about African American and immigrants.
Sounds about white.
Atlanta's population is 523,000 and is a majority Black city. Buckhead, the neighborhood has 102,000 residents and it is majority white.
Buckhead, one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Atlanta, would deprive the city of 38% of its tax revenue if it seceded. Political scientists and journalists have also highlighted that Buckhead is significantly more conservative and white than the rest of Atlanta. Commentators have also noted that this secession attempt is "more serious" than earlier efforts, due to polling data showing 54% to 70% of Buckhead's residents favor the move, and due to pro-secession organizations raising nearly $1,000,000 to promote the split. A referendum did not occur in 2022 or early 2023, as the Georgia General Assembly tabled the bills that would have provided for this referendum during the 2022 legislative session.
A Georgia Senate committee has approved two bills that could allow the Buckhead neighborhood to secede from the city of Atlanta, the first time that an issue freighted with fears about crime and racial and economic division has moved forward in the General Assembly.
The Senate State and Local Government Operations Committee's Republican majority pushed Senate Bills 113 and 114 through on 4-3 votes Monday, sending them to the full Senate for more debate.
The Republican controlled Georgia state legislature is voting today on allowing Buckhead to separate from the dangerous Democrat controlled city of Atlanta and be its own city.
Despite the step forward, prospects remain uncertain for the measures, which are bitterly opposed by Atlanta’s business community and the city’s overwhelmingly Democratic lawmakers.
Some residents of the city's whitest, most affluent area are trying to pull out of Atlanta and form Buckhead City, saying Atlanta isn't doing enough to control crime and that affluent Buckhead residents aren't getting their money's worth from municipal services.
Resident Kelly Rodts, a Buckhead City supporter, told the committee last week that “Atlanta taxes us to the nines” but that city police have failed to stop both petty and violent crime.
“This violence has reached a tipping point, and that is why we are all here today,” Rodts said. “Buckhead is a target. We're a target for criminals in the city, and Atlanta has not been able to protect us.”
But opponents say a new city wouldn't be able to stop criminals from coming to the area. They also say the plan doesn't deal with major issues and could make crime worse by weakening the remaining parts of Atlanta.
“What is happening today is my constituents are being forced to eat a half-baked pie," Sen. Jason Esteves, an Atlanta Democrat on the committee, said Monday before the vote.
He and others argue that although supporters of the new city are organized and noisy, they represent a minority of residents in the area, and that lawmakers should spurn a divisive campaign. They pointedly note that none of the sponsors represent the city of Atlanta.
But Sen. Randy Robertson, a Cataula Republican sponsoring the bills, says he's championing the rights of citizens unfairly being ignored. He's pointedly called on Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens to meet with leaders of the Buckhead City Committee.
“Too many times inside this building and especially outside this building in local communities, elected officials forget who they work for. So when movements happen that remind elected officials who the real bosses are, then I have to support that," Robertson said.
Robertson likens creating Buckhead City to incorporating any other city. Suburban Atlanta has seen a wave of incorporations since 2005. While the legislation was bottled up last year, new Republican Lt. Gov. Burt Jones supported it while serving as a state senator and has allowed the bills to move forward.
“I’ve been down here 10 years and we’ve voted on referendums to create new cities around the state," Jones said in a statement. "I’m not going to shut down the conversation. We’d be doing ourselves a disservice if we didn’t allow the process to try to play out. That’s what the legislative process is all about.”
Opponents say taking apart an existing city is much more complicated than creating a new one, and that it's even more complex to dismember Atlanta, which has its own school system and extra layers of local taxes and debt. Buckhead City proponents want a system whereby the new city would collect taxes and send them to Atlanta Public Schools, and the school system would continue to serve Buckhead. However, it's unclear such a setup would be legal or feasible.
The legislation calls for the new city to be able to buy parks, fire stations and other city-owned buildings including schools for cheap prices, on the theory that Buckhead taxpayers have already paid for the assets. The new city could also buy Atlanta's water and sewer lines serving the area. Buckhead would get a head start in paying for those items because the legislation would give Buckhead City a share of Atlanta's cash. The new city would take on some bond obligations.
Opponents warn the divorce will give bond investors heartburn that could affect the municipal debt of every city in Georgia. When the Eagles Landing area was allowed to vote and ultimately rejected seceding from Stockbridge in 2018, bond rating agencies warned that splitting up cities was a risk for investors in all Georgia city bonds.
“Credit ratings and the municipal bond markets would be severely harmed in the state of Georgia," Ruchi Patel, a lobbyist for the Georgia Municipal Association, said Feb. 16.
Why does Black History Month only last 28 [29] days?
I am tired of trying to compact Black accomplishments in one month.
BLACK HISTORY EVERYDAY!
Black history is American history and our achievements are big. We don't need to consolidate our achievements to please folks.
The far right wants to end WOKE.
Idiots don't even know what it means.
Nevertheless, African Americans, Native Americans (Indigenous), Hispanics, Asian Americans, immigrants, those who identify as transgender and Americans with disabilities are under attack from extremists.
The far right has its warriors. The white nationalists have allied with suit & ties (Republican lawmakers, media agitators and activists), religious zealots, corporate looters, and the sellouts (the FBA/ADOS movement, gay Republicans, Asian Republicans, Black Republicans and former allies of change).
They want to keep America angry and stroke civil war.
Rep. Lance Gooden (R-TX) is feuding with Rep. Judy Chu (D-CA) and went as far to call her a Chinese spy.
The leaders of a new House select committee on China defended Democratic Rep. Judy Chu on Sunday, saying it was abhorrent and unacceptable for a GOP lawmaker to question her loyalty to the United States based on her Chinese heritage.
Rep. Judy Chu (D-CA)
“One of my colleagues, unfortunately, attacked Chu, the first Chinese American congresswoman in the United States Congress, saying that somehow she’s not loyal to the United States. I find that offensive as an Asian American myself,” said Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi, the ranking Democrat on the panel, about the comments last week from Gooden.
Wisconsin Rep. Mike Gallagher, the Republican chair of the China panel who appeared Sunday with Krishnamoorthi on CBS’ “Face the Nation,” said Gooden was out of line.
“We should not question anybody’s loyalty to the United States,” Gallagher said. “That is out of bounds. It’s beyond the pale.”
In a Fox interview last week, Gooden criticized Chu for her defense of Biden economic appointee Dominic Ng, who the president named to the business advisory council of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation. Gooden questioned either Chu’s “loyalty or competence.” He also suggested that Chu, a California Democrat, should not have a security clearance or access to classified briefings.
Chu, the chair of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus who was born in Los Angeles, called Gooden’s comments “racist,” saying the attacks on her and Ng relied on false information from right-wing media.
On Sunday, Gallagher said his bipartisan committee, which is officially called the “Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party” was named as such to “to constantly make that distinction between the party and the people.”
“We must constantly be aware of going overboard as we try and win this competition with China,” he said.
Dilbert is dropped. Scott Adams let his mouth drop.
Author and comic writer Scott Adams is dismissing the backlash he received from his podcast in which he said that Black people were a "hate group" and white people should stay away.
He made his rants on his social media and of course it went viral. Now his beloved Dilbert comic strip pays the price. Over 235 newspapers in the U.S. and Canada has dropped the strip. Once he loses his manager and publishing company it's a wrap.
The USA Today Network, which operates hundreds of newspapers, said it had pulled the plug on the long-running comic strip. The Washington Post and The Plain Dealer also in Cleveland said they would no longer carry the comic.
His comments came in response to a poll from the conservative firm Rasmussen Reports that said 53% of Black Americans agreed with the statement, “It’s OK to be White.”
The Anti-Defamation League has noted that the phrase emerged on the infamous message board 4chan in 2017 as a trolling campaign and has a “long history” in the white supremacist movement.
“If nearly half of all Blacks are not OK with White people – according to this poll, not according to me, according to th is poll – that’s a hate group,” Adams said Wednesday on his YouTube show “Real Coffee with Scott Adams.”
Newspapers across the #UnitedStates have pulled #ScottAdams’ long-running “Dilbert” comic strip after the cartoonist called Black Americans a “hate group” and said White people should “get the f**k away from” them 🤯
scott adams has become based based based i cannot recommend the interview on @HotepJesus YT enough. absolutely worth the two hours, very productive discussion between two reasonable and moral individuals pic.twitter.com/POM25YveHy
This is the absolute truth what @ScottAdamsSays is saying here. He had to have known that all the coward newspapers would drop his Dilbert comic strip. I admire Scott Adams for doing it anyway. pic.twitter.com/sy0vhHutV2
“I don’t want to have anything to do with them,” Adams added. “And I would say, based on the current way things are going, the best advice I would give to White people is to get the hell away from Black people, just get the fuck away … because there is no fixing this.”
Adams has since said on Twitter that he was only “advising people to avoid hate” and suggested that the cancellation of his cartoon signals that free speech in America is under assault.
The newspapers that have cut the comic strip have been clear with readers.
“Scott Adams, creator of the Dilbert comic strip, went on a racist rant this week … and we will no longer carry his comic strip in The Plain Dealer,” wrote Chris Quinn, editor of the paper. “This is not a difficult decision.”
“We are not a home for those who espouse racism,” Quinn added. “We certainly do not want to provide them with financial support.”
Gannett, which publishes the USA Today Network of newspapers, tweeted that it aims to “lead with inclusion and strive to maintain a respectful and equitable environment for the diverse communities we serve nationwide.”
The Washington Post said it had also pulled the comic strip from the newspaper.
“In light of Scott Adams’s recent statements promoting segregation, The Washington Post has ceased publication of the Dilbert comic strip,” it said.
Food deserts in Dayton. Marc's closes its sole Dayton location.
I haven't watch local news in a while. Somehow working two jobs is exhausting.
While passing through Kettering, I noticed that Cleveland-based low price grocer Marc's has permanently closed its only Dayton location. The company announced it was closing its location in early January and finally shut its doors in early February.
The company did not give a reasonable excuse other than its lease was up. The company does not talk to the press regardless of the controversy.
It leaves that area without a grocer and also immediately a vacant lot.
In other words......
I know some folks from the Dayton area will relate to the plague that haunted this community.
Food deserts.
It happens to be a chronic issue in the Dayton area as well as some of its neighboring suburbs. I doubt Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH), Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) and Republican governor Mike DeWine will be concerned. They're too busy trying to troll President Joe Biden and Democrats over that East Palestine train derailment and the Chinese "spy" balloon.
Biden had addressed food deserts and ordered Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack to find solutions to helping rural and urban America get quality foods.
So Kroger decided to close its location in 2018 and move it to the Cornerstone of Centerville. It places two Kroger stores in Greene County, three miles from one another.
The original location was replaced with Marc's. I was a frequent shopper there. The last time I visited that store was in December. I guess somehow, Marc's decided that Dayton was not a viable market so they decided after five years, its time to pack it up and leave.
The cause and effects of corporate America, the poor and middle class and a country emboldened on social ills as an excuse.
My parents justify grocers closing because of crime. Shoplifting and bad neighborhoods are not really an excuse in my opinion. I believe it's a cop out. These places make millions of dollars.
Walmart and Kroger make billions of dollars. They just want build new stores to suffocate smaller grocers like Marc's and local stores. They build these mega stores in areas to drive out competition. Eventually Dollar General, Family Dollar and Dollar Tree will be the only businesses there to suit the needs of the poor and middle class in impoverished neighborhoods.
West Dayton does not have many grocery stores. The only grocery story in West Dayton with a national brand is Save-a-Lot. The closest grocer, Kroger is located in in an unincorporated suburb of Fort McKinley, a part of Harrison Township. Walmart is eight miles in Englewood, six miles in Moraine and ten miles in Butler Township.
Then there's Naboli's, H&L, Estridge Grocery and Westside Supermarket. They are IGA affiliate stores.
Also People's Market is located on Main Street in Dayton. Then the Gem City Market which is the cooperative grocer that has struggled since opening. Foodtown in the unincorporated community of Drexel is the closest grocer in Trotwood.
Gordon Food Services for the time being is the only bulk grocer in Trotwood.
What I notice is the lack of transportation to these grocers in the suburbs.
The Greater Dayton RTA has consolidated routes due to lack of ridership and staff to operate buses. They have partnered with Butler Township to make its two routes a layover at the end of Walmart's parking lot. They have two routes at a layover at Meijer in Huber Heights.
The RTA does not have many connections to grocers in Beavercreek, Englewood, Centerville and Bellbrook. These communities fought against bus routes.
That's why they cut a regional route that provided a direct connection from Trotwood to Centerville.
They made the route a weekday route to Centerville with no service on Saturday or Sunday. They consolidated a local route near The Greene and Kettering to now provide direct connection to Trotwood but avoids its terminal hub three miles from its layover.
It is a real problem in the rust belt. We can blame crime, deindustrialization and white flight for some of the reasons. We can also say poor leadership from Democrats and Republicans. We can say corporate greed and urban sprawl. We can say leasing and viable areas. We can have excuses all day long.
No real solutions to solve this. It is pointless finger pointing and deflection.
Kettering will hopefully find a grocer willing to replace Marc's. It will be a challenge.
I get the feeling that Dollar General Marketplace will be filling the void. Ohio state officials are suing the company for deceptive pricing.
Will Laura Ingraham tell him to shut up and dribble?
Former NBA star comes out as a Republican and wants to run for Congress. Again, on Fox, Enes Kanter (Freedom) has considered a possible 2024 House run. He has become popular in Republican circles and frequently appears on conservative TV shows, says he is considering running for office.
“I actually do, yes,” Kanter Freedom said on Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria” when asked if he had interest in running for office. “I would actually, when the time is right.”
Again, I hope Dominion Systems wins its lawsuit against Fox. They have went from a propaganda tool for the Republican Party to a full fledged white nationalist network.
Spreading misinformation, allowing crazy people to rant on their programs, getting upset of "woke" when they don't even know what the definition of the fucking word and endless trashing President Joe Biden for things that Washed Up 45 was allowed to get away with.
Kanter Freedom, who grew up in Turkey, has been an outspoken critic of the Turkish and Chinese governments. In particular, he has blasted the NBA for its relationship with China given the country’s detainment and abuse of millions of Uyghurs and other ethnic minorities, which the Biden administration has declared a genocide.
Kanter Freedom also took aim at basketball icon LeBron James, who recently broke the NBA’s all-time scoring record. He accused James of standing up against injustices in the U.S. but not in China because “the things that he talks about in America is not going to affect his money or business.”
“It’s not going to affect his jersey sales or shoe sales, whatever,” Kanter Freedom said.
Kanter Freedom attended lunches with Senate Republicans and the House Republican Study Committee last year, and was also set to be a speaker at the Conservative Political Action Coalition conference before later canceling on the event.
He said he has not started fundraising for a possible campaign yet, but he has discussed the possibility with people close to him and lawmakers.
“I haven’t started yet,” Kanter Freedom said. “But I started to have conversations with some of my friends and members of Congress.”
Laura Ingraham infamously said about athletes and entertainers who talk politics.
"If pro athletes and entertainers want to freelance as political pundits, then they should not be surprised when they’re called out for insulting politicians," Ingraham said. "There was no racial intent in my remarks – false, defamatory charges of racism are a transparent attempt to immunize entertainment and sports elites from scrutiny and criticism."
"You’re great players, but no one voted for you. Millions elected Trump to be their coach. So keep the political commentary to yourself or, as someone once said, shut up and dribble.”
Former Hawai'ian congresswoman turned far right agitator makes a Nazi comparison to the president's promise to have an administration that represents America.
President Joe Biden has not given an interview to Fox and it appears it will be a cold chance in Hell before it ever happens. I really hope Dominion Systems win its lawsuit against Fox. This network has gone from being a propaganda tool for Republicans to a white nationalist outlet.
Tulsi on Diversity in The Biden Administration: They’re proud to be selecting people based on race.. It’s based on genetics.. Where do we see that connection? These are the very same core principles embodied by Nazism and Hitler. pic.twitter.com/bI2HoumYaw
Tulsi Gabbard left the Democratic Party once she joined Fox as a commentator. She is floated as a potential Republican vice presidential candidate. But is this possibly the end of her Fox appearances?
“Jesse, what we are seeing is their philosopher identity politics,” Gabbard said. “This is one of the reasons I left the Democratic Party. You see how their agenda of identity politics directly undermines the traditional democratic values that were expressed beautifully and clearly by Dr. Martin Luther King, that we should judge each other not based on the color of our skin, but based on our character.
Referring to “example after example” that Watters discussed, she said, “They are proud to be judging people, hiring people, selecting people based on race, and let’s be clear how serious of a problem this is. It’s based on genetics, race, based on your blood, your genes, and, where do we see that connection? Well, these are the very same geneticist core principles embodied by Nazism and Adolf Hitler. This should be something that is sickening and alarming to every single Democrat and every single American. We have seen where this, uh, philosophy can lead.
Gabbard continued, “We need leaders who will elect, who will select people based on their character. How committed they are to the Constitution and the capabilities that they bring to actually do the job that they are hired to do most importantly, their heart.”
After she went on about leaders’ “hearts,” Watters asked Gabbard, “You are saying the focus on genetics is in a way similar to what was going on in Germany?
She reiterated her comparisons, saying, “You look at the core values and core principles of Adolf Hitler and Nazism what is it based on? It’s based on genetics this philosophy of geneticism and discriminating based on their genes. That’s the issue here, really, when you cut to the core of it.
“When they are standing there, saying we are proud to be selecting people solely based on race, that is alarming to men so many levels. You see them oh we we going to select someone based on their race, based on their gender, these immutable characteristics that we are born with, this goes against, again, the very vision our founders had for us,” she said.
Even Watters distanced himself from Gabbard’s comparison.
“I’m not sure about the German thing, but I think you are right on this point: they care about what they administration looks like but they don’t care about what we look like,” Watters said, “and we’re out here saying hey, we need this, we need that can you — and they are not even looking at us.”
“Yes,” Gabbard responded. “They are just putting themselves. Putting themselves first. That alone is a huge disqualifier.”
Gabbard often appears on Fox programs like Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, Jesse Watters and Softball Hannity. She is basically shitting on the Democrats because they did not support her failed 2020 bid and Hillary Clinton hinted that she is an op (even though she didn't mention her by name).
Gabbard is part of the AAPI (Asian American Pacific Islander) community. She denounced her heritage. She is a vegetarian and a Hindu American. Gabbard was born in the U.S. unincorporated territory of American Samoa. She is an active member of the U.S. Army Reserves. Her rise to fame was flipping her R to a D to win a safe Democratic district in Hawai'i. She was considered a rising star in the Democratic Party. She sabotaged Hillary Clinton and Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), then Democratic chairwoman. She endorsed Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and led whisper campaigns against her and Biden.
She intended on staying in the 2020 race but when the pandemic hit, she bowed out and endorsed Biden. She retired from Congress because she was afraid to lose to a Native Hawai'ian. Since then it's been Fox and endorsements of idiots like Kari Lake and Herschel Walker.
Gabbard is also considered a threat to sovereignty by the Ukrainian government due to her silent support of the Russian Federation. Many Democrats consider her a propagandist for the Putin regime.
On top of that, will Fox handle her like they did Lara Logan?
Hip-hop couple Cardi B and Offset team up McDonald's to offer a date night meal. Fresh off the Grammy's and the fight with Quavo during a tribute to the late Takeoff, Offset and Cardi decide to share a date at the Golden Arches.
Launched on Valentine's Day, McDonald's has the $20.39 meal which includes the rap couple's favorite items.
You can get a Quarter Pounder with Cheese, two cheeseburgers, large Coke, Large Hi-C Orange Lavaburst, two large fries and an apple pie.
It comes as hip-hop and fast food are starting to make music together.
In other events, it appears that Quavo is aiming at Offset and Cardi B in a new single.
The two have been feuding since the death of Takeoff.
By the way, that ashy extremist Candace Owens continues to be a pain in Cardi's ass. I swear that bitch needs some because she's basing her life off entertainers who she never met in her pathetic life. If this is the stuff to keep Candace Owens up at night, I swear her life span will be short.
She won't be missed by many who see her as an opportunistic disease.
