Juneteenth!


President Joe Biden signed the law that commemorating Juneteenth as a federal holiday in 2021.

Now we celebrate the second year of this national holiday honoring the freedom of African Americans. It took a full two years before the state of Texas delivered the news that slaves working on plantations and laboring were freed.

Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States declared that "all persons held as slaves within said designated States, and parts of States, are, and henceforward shall be free... [S]uch persons of suitable condition, will be received into the armed service of the United States ... And upon this act, sincerely believed to be an act of Justice, warranted by the Constitution, upon military necessity. I invoke the considerate judgment of mankind, and the gracious favor of Almighty God...."

Major General Gordon Granger issued General Order No. 3 informing Texans that slavery has ended.

On June 19, 1865, we celebrated Juneteenth.

Formerly enslaved people in Galveston rejoiced after the announcement. On June 19, 1866, Texas freedmen organized the first of what would would become Jubilee Day.

Biden was instrumental in getting the law passed. It was a failed effort by his predecessor Washed Up 45. In 2020, the former president considered holding rallies during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Republicans like Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) and former lawmaker Will Hurd tried to convince the former president to get on board with Democrats in passing a national holiday. It would have gained Black voters. The former president ignored their pleas. He tried to hold a rally in Tulsa on Juneteenth.

He had to rescheduled after Scott warned him it was in poor taste. He also held this event in the city when the pandemic was very high. Herman Cain became the victim of an unfortunate circumstance.

After testing positive for the coronavirus, Cain died two weeks later. 

Washed Up 45 went on to push conspiracy theories, culture wars and blatant attacks on opponents which eventually led to his defeat in the 2020 election.

Biden spurred by a large Black turnout said that he would pass the George Floyd Policing Act, the John Lewis Voting Bill and establish Juneteenth as a federal holiday. 

The president would at least get Juneteenth. The Senate failed to pass policing reform and voting reform. The Republicans, Sen. Karen Sinema (D-AZ) and Sen. Karen Manchin (D-WV) stalled legislation. Sinema and Manchin refuse to end the filibuster as well.

Juneteenth was pass with 415 votes in the House. Rep. Karen Boebert (R-CO), Rep. Karen Jordan (R-OH), Rep. Karen Gaetz (R-FL), Rep. Karen Cawthorn (R-NC), Rep. Idiot Karen Greene (R-GA), Rep. Karen Scalise (R-LA) voted with the Democrats.

The only white nationalists that voted against it were Rep. Karen Jackson (R-TX), Rep. Karen Gosar (R-AZ), Rep. Karen Biggs (R-AZ), Rep. Karen Brooks (R-AL), Rep. Karen Clyde (R-GA), Rep. Karen DeJarlais (R-TN), Rep. Karen LaMalfa (R-CO), Rep. Karen Norman (R-SC), Rep. Karen Tiffany (R-WI), Rep. Karen Roy (R-TX), Rep. Karen Massie (R-KY), Rep. Karen Rosendale (R-MT), Rep. Karen Rogers (R-AL), Rep. Karen McClintock (R-CA), Rep. Karen Crenshaw (R-TX), Rep. Karen McHenry (R-NC) voted against it.

The bill unanimously in the Senate. Sen. Karen Johnson (R-WI) tried to tank the bill but backed down.

Juneteenth is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. Juneteenth marks the anniversary of the announcement of General Order No. 3 by Union Army general Gordon Granger on June 19, 1865, proclaiming freedom for enslaved people in Texas. Originating in Galveston, the holiday has since been celebrated annually on June 19 in various parts of the United States, often broadly celebrating African-American culture. The day was first recognized as a federal holiday in June 2021, when President Joe Biden signed the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act into law.The Juneteenth flag is a symbol of the Juneteenth holiday.

The president fell off his bike.

President Joe Biden took a fall off his bicycle while staying at his Delaware residence. 

I fell off a bike. 

I have taken a fall on things. 

I've survived.

Here's the far right response to the fall.

The president was not injured and laughed it off. However, the far right who are not medical doctors, psychologists and physicians will use it as a ploy to spread more misinformation and conspiracy theories about Biden's health.

Fox and Russian propaganda often are using Biden's age as a weapon to sow discourse. 

These morons act like they never fell off a bicycle or tripped.

The so-called patriots on the right believe in attacking the symbol of American strength as rightful. They claim to be on the side of freedom but attack the president who is a part of the freedom they claim to love.

But they go bananas when the left goes after Washed Up 45, far right Supreme Court justices, oil executives and Republicans. 

No medical attention is needed, the official added in a statement released to reporters traveling with the President.

"As the President said, his foot got caught on the pedal while dismounting and he is fine. No medical attention is needed. The President looks forward to spending the rest of the day with his family," the official said.

Biden took a tumble when he was finishing a bike ride alongside first lady Jill Biden. The President deviated from the group as he biked over to a crowd that had gathered nearby. Biden came to a stop and appeared to get his foot caught on the pedal while trying to dismount.

"I got my foot caught" on the toe cage, Biden told reporters traveling with him later. "I'm good."

Secret Service agents quickly helped the President up after his fall.

While it was revealed that Republican senate nominee Hershel Walker has multiple children who he rarely sees, his most prominent child once again embarass himself and his father involuntarily. His annoying child, Christian Walker is the grift that keeps on giving. From being a cheerleader to being a full fledged conspiracy theorist.

Walker believes that black people are more racist than white people and supports building a wall between the United States-Mexico border.

The sweet chicken is an unemployed social media influencer. He is one of the many LGBTQ supporters of Washed Up 45. 

He is a gay bigot like Karen Presler, Karen Yiannopoulos, Karen Bruce, Terrence K. Williams, Karen Babeu, Karen Straka, Armstrong Williams, Karen Grenell and Karen Schock.

Walker is a troll who doesn't say he is gay. He says he likes white men who give him the....

I don't want discuss his personal lifestyle. 

Anyway, someone unearthed his TikTok rants about Nick Cannon.

Of course, I agree with Walker on Cannon and his antics. 

On Wednesday night, Walker also confirmed to the outlet that he has two other children — in addition to his son Christian, with whom he is close, and the 10-year-old child.

"I have four children. Three sons and a daughter. They're not 'undisclosed' — they're my kids," Walker said in a statement to The Daily Beast. "I support them all and love them all. I've never denied my children, I confirmed this when I was appointed to the President's Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition, I just chose not to use them as props to win a political campaign. What parent would want their child involved in garbage, gutter politics like this?"

Republicans still support this dummy.

The former athlete has made numerous public comments about the importance of fathers, including in a 2021 interview with conservative social media personalities Diamond and Silk, when he said: "The father leaves in the Black family. He leaves the boys alone so they'll be raised by their mom. If you have a child with a woman, even if you have to leave that woman — even if you have to leave that woman — you don't leave that child."

As CNBC reports, Walker has also criticized absentee fathers as a "major problem."

Walker has also criticized his opponent, Democratic incumbent Rev. Raphael Warnock, for his involvement in a custody dispute with his ex-wife. A Warnock spokesperson told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the senator is "a devoted father who is proud to continue to co-parent his two children as he works for the people of Georgia."

This isn't the only controversy for Walker, who won Georgia's Republican Senate primary last month.

He made headlines in a 2020 interview when advocating for a "spray" or a "mist" that he said can "kill" the virus that causes COVID-19. Walker claimed the product, which does not exist, was "EPA-, FDA-approved."

More recently, he was accused of lying about his education history and business practices.

He also raised eyebrows after he expressed skepticism about human evolution during an appearance at a local church in March, when he said, "If [evolution] is true, why are there still apes? Think about it."

Internet Explorer Gone To The Grave!

South Korean prankster made a gravestone for Internet Explorer.

Microsoft retires the longtime product Internet Explorer. The software that officially comes on most laptops and computers with Windows will no longer be in use.

When it launched 27 years ago, at its peak, 95% of users were online with Internet Explorer. However the bugs, the security issues and slow download times kind of messed up the platform.

The came Firefox and Chrome. 

They were taking off and destroying Internet Explorer at the throat.

Internet Explorer is a discontinued series of graphical web browsers developed by Microsoft, included in the Microsoft Windows line of operating systems which was later discontinued on June 15, 2022. Starting in 1995, It was first released as part of the add-on package Plus! for Windows 95 that year. Later versions were available as free downloads, or in-service packs, and included in the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) service releases of Windows 95 and later versions of Windows. Microsoft spent over US$100 million per year on Internet Explorer in the late 1990s, with over 1,000 people involved in the project by 1999. New feature development for the browser was discontinued in 2016 in favor of new browser Microsoft Edge. Microsoft 365 ended support for Internet Explorer on August 17, 2021, and Microsoft Teams ended support for IE on November 30, 2020.

Microsoft Edge, officially unveiled on January 21, 2015, has replaced Internet Explorer as the default browser on Windows 10. Internet Explorer is still installed in Windows 10 and 11 to maintain compatibility with older websites and intranet sites that require ActiveX and other Microsoft legacy web technologies. Internet Explorer was removed from the Start menu in Windows 11 but can still be launched via other means such as the Help button in Control Panel's Internet Options and PowerShell. 

According to Microsoft, the development of new features for Internet Explorer has ceased. However, it will continue to be maintained as part of the support policy for the versions of Windows with which it is included.

On June 1, 2020, the Internet Archive removed the latest version of Internet Explorer from its list of supported browsers, citing its dated infrastructure that makes it hard to work with, following the suggestion of Microsoft Chief of Security Chris Jackson that users not use it as their default browser, but to use it only for websites that require it.

Since November 30, 2020, the web version of Microsoft Teams can no longer be accessed using Internet Explorer 11, followed by the remaining Microsoft 365 applications since August 17, 2021.

On June 15, 2022, the desktop application of Internet Explorer 11 reached end of support for consumer versions of Windows 10, now redirecting to Microsoft Edge, marking the end of its existence.

Microsoft recommends Internet Explorer users migrate to Edge and use the built-in "Internet Explorer mode" which enables support for legacy internet applications.

Washed Up Actor Threatened Trudeau!

Murderer's confessions says he wanted to kill Trudeau.

The Prime Minister of Canada confirmed he tested positive for the coronavirus again but is not experiencing any severe symptoms of the disease.

The Canadian authorities stopped a terrorist from committing an act on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

A Canadian actor turned murderer,  appeared on “Riverdale” and the 2010 film version of “Diary of a Wimpy Kid,” pleaded guilty to killing his mother in March — but now comes word he also allegedly plotted to kill Trudeau as well.

That revelation came during the sentencing hearing for the 24-year-old terrorist, who pleaded guilty to second-degree murder earlier this year.

According to the CBC, the terrorist shot 64-year-old Barbara Waite in the back of the head in March 2020 while she was playing the piano.

During a hearing on Monday, the court heard how the actor rehearsed the killing beforehand and filmed a video afterwards where he confessed to the murder and showed his mother’s corpse on camera.

The day after the murder, officials said terrorist packed a car with guns, ammunition, 12 Molotov cocktails and camping supplies and hit the road with the intention of killing the prime minister.

His reason for doing so wasn’t made clear at the hearing.

However, when he got to Hope, B.C., he turned around, drove to Vancouver police headquarters and told police, “I killed my mum,” according to Complex.

There is no mugshot of the terrorist.

The terrorist also mentioned his plan to kill Trudeau in a statement to police and in an excerpt from his private journal that was read in court.

Two psychiatric reports presented at the hearing showed that the terrorist was suffering clinical depression in the months leading up to the murder and had experienced urges to commit violence and kill himself, escalating feelings of self-hatred and guilt over his mother possibly learning he had stopped attending classes at college, according to the CBC.

The reports also said he had a cannabis use disorder.

If convicted, the terrorist faces an automatic life sentence, but Canadian prosecutors are asking for 17 to 18 years of parole ineligibility. In Canada, people convicted of second-degree murder are typically eligible for parole in anywhere from 10 to 25 years.

Dayton Family Want Justice For Allison Oliver!

Beautiful soul lost to a deadly car accident.

The Dayton Police and the Ohio State Patrol have a person of interest but they will not reveal the name until they have an arrest.

The Miami Valley dealing with drag racing on city streets. Many American drivers are trying to test their speed on Dayton roads. The law is not in a mood for drag racing.

When it comes to deadly encounters on Dayton roads, one main thoroughfare comes to mind.... North Main Street. However, that's not the only road.

Gettysburg Avenue from Salem Avenue in Harrison Township to Main Street in Moraine. 

That stretch of road in West Dayton is in need of a road diet. 

There was a fatal car accident on June 9 and the victim will be laid to rest today.

31-year old Allison Nycole Oliver was a victim of an unfortunate circumstance. She was involved in a fatal accident at the intersection of Gettysburg Avenue and Free Pike.

The person that hit the vehicle she was driving fled the scene on a bicycle. 

The family call for the suspect to turn himself in. They said they forgive the suspect for taking away Allison but they feel that the suspect's guilt and someone who knows will be the key to an arrest.

They don't want to make this accident her ending. They want to keep her spirit alive by honoring her life. She graduated from Meadowdale High School and college. She worked in a local government job where her devotion to helping others in need was her heart and soul. She helped during the 2019 Dayton tornado outbreak.

The suspect faces vehicular homicide and fleeing the scene of an accident. The suspect already has 15 to LIFE on the table if caught. Homicide in Ohio is 15 to LIFE. the suspect takes a plea deal, 10 to 20 years and a forfeiture of the driver's license. The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

Growing up in Dayton, Ohio is really depressing. The city is a part of the rust belt. The jobs here are not paying much. The cost of goods, services and supplies are up. We have lawmakers in Columbus, Ohio and Washington, DC not willing to solve these issues.

The U.S. Congress can write bills and President Joe Biden can sign them into laws. The Republicans in the minority are not willing to work with the president. They rather keep Americans angry over issues he can't control.

Inflation can be controlled if Congress (I meant Republicans work with Democrats to) pass a bill. The Congress could pass gun reform.

The state could pass legislation to help Ohioans but alas, they top focused on stupid culture wars.

Herschel Walker's Super Duper Stoopid!

He still can win despite all the crap coming out about him.

Republican nominee for the Georgia senate is really dumb as fuck. It's almost a shame that he could be a senator if we don't get our asses out to vote in the Midterms. 

And you thought he had that annoying "sweet chicken" Christian Walker. The dude has a 40 year old daughter, a 10 year old son and a 12 year old son.

In June 2022, during Walker's Senate campaign, The Daily Beast reported that Walker had a daughter, born around 1982, and that her mother had successfully sued him for child support in 2014. Days later, The Daily Beast reported that Walker had an additional two children, sons born around 2009 and 2012 to separate women, and that he had played no part in raising them.. Prior to the revelations, Walker had named fatherless households as a major problem in the African-American community and boasted about his co-parenting of his son, Christian, with his ex-wife.

Walker is a good buddy of Washed Up 45. Walker was encouraged to run for the senate after the former president pressured him to run. He lives in Texas but his mother apparently still lives in Georgia.

Walker has publicly derided fathers who do not raise their children and on the campaign trail he has presented himself as a caring dad. In a 2020 interview with Youtube hosts Diamond and Silk, Herschel said that when a man has "a child with a woman, even if you have to leave that woman… you don't leave the child."

Walker will face off against Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock in November, marking one of the most competitive Senate races in the 2022 midterms. In January 2021, Warnock and fellow freshman Sen. Jon Ossoff won their runoff races to flip the Senate majority from Republican to Democratic control in a 50-50 split, with Vice President Kamala Harris as the tiebreaking vote.

Before Walker won his GOP primary race in may, his campaign was beset with other scandals.

As Insider reported in May, he failed to report millions in earnings on a federal campaign financial disclosure form.

He also faced allegations of domestic violence from his ex-wife and the father of his previously only publicly known child, and later said he held himself "accountable" for the violent behavior.

Walker owes over $5,000 in child support. The dude will celebrate Father's Day and Juneteenth dealing with scandals.

Anyway, the Republicans do not care. It is important to vote this Midterm. Vote for Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA). Vote for Stacey Abrams for governor of Georgia.

Still Waiting On Those Good Guys With Guns: Mass Shooting In Vestavia Hills, Alabama!

I believe that Alabama has open carry laws where anyone can carry firearms into bars, grocery stores, schools, universities and churches. You're a legal owner until you pull the trigger. I mean it is a no brainer when you are a firearm owner that frustrations and rejection are the triggers to gun violence.

Mass shootings keep happening. 

President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Gov. Karen Ivey, Sen. Karen Shelby (R-AL), Sen. Karen Tuberville (R-AL) and the seven U.S. Representatives were notified.

Two people were killed and a third wounded in a shooting at a church in a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama, Thursday night, police said. A suspect, who hasn't been named, is in custody. 

The Vestavia Hills Police Department said it received a call of an active shooter at Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church at approximately 6:22 p.m. local time. 

On Thursday night, Vestavia Hills police Capt. Shane Ware told reporters three people were shot. Two died and a third was being treated at a hospital. There was no initial word on that person's condition.

According to Ware, the suspect entered the church during a group meeting and opened fire. The church had posted on its website that it was holding a potluck dinner between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.  

Ware didn't provide a possible motive or any further details on the circumstances of the shooting, though he said police believe there's no further threat to the community. There was no word on how the suspect was apprehended. 

The FBI and U.S. Marshals Service were among several federal and local agencies taking part in the investigation.

Rev. Kelley Hudlow, of the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama, remarked to reporters that, "This this happens in other places. ... You just don't think it's going to happen here in the Birmingham area. And so it is shocking. But the one thing that we know is that St Stephen's as a church is a community that is built on love and prayers and grace, and they're going to come together."

"We're connected to a network of churches across the world," she added, "and so we're getting messages from people from all over the United States and around the world praying for this community tonight."

Ivey released a statement calling the shooting "shocking and tragic," adding, "This should never happen — in a church, in a store, in the city or anywhere."

Yet, she will do nothing to stop it. She could sign one damn law banning assault weapons but she won't.

Ivey and Republicans will hope that we just move on. They already moved on from Uvalde and Buffalo after those horrific mass shootings killed innocent children, teachers and Black grocers.

We have to do something to stop gun violence. The Republicans in Congress is determined to pivot to a culture war issue. They already back on the inflation and high gas prices. They have not release any solution or policy. From high gas prices, baby formula shortage, gun violence and social media, Republicans are pretty much silent.

You're not safe in the home, the school, the concert, the hospital, the church, the casino, the bus station, the subway, the light rail train, the buses, the malls, the local big box store, the political rally, the protest rally, the women's center for reproductive surgeries, the mosque, the synagogue, the state buildings, the workplace, the gas station, the family picnic, the food truck rally, the funerals, the birthday parties, the graduations, the wedding, the televised events, the sporting events and many more events that have some terrorist with a firearm. Domestic violence, suicide, racism, culture war inspired, politically motivated and international operative inspired are types of gun violence.

An active shooter doesn't care about the politics, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, your finances, your family, your plans that day, your successes, your failures, and most importantly, your life.

The shooter is motivated within seconds to take out as many people as he/she can.

Everywhere is disrupted.

Every community in the United States will eventually have a legacy. A legacy of tragedy. Gun violence and COVID-19 will affect your town, your family and your life. So I don't want to hear that bullshit about how gun reform is taking away your rights to own firearms. 

I don't want to hear that protesting against police killing people of color is hate on cops in general. I don't want to hear talk about the coronavirus being a myth.

When you hear folks say "gun rights," what they really mean is that its white privilege. This good guy with a gun nonsense has to end. The cops didn't do nothing when children were shot inside a school. A security guard was shot dead trying to protect shoppers. A cop accidentally shot his own. The good guy who tried to stop a bad guy is outgunned and a part of the rule #3. The "good guy with a gun" better be prepared to die if they want to stop a shooter.

I don't want to hear folks say masks and vaccine mandates impede their freedoms. It prevents a deadly outbreak from spreading. If you want to die from the coronavirus, that's on you. We lost over 1 million people from the coronavirus.

I don't want to hear the shit about guns saving lives. Cause a bullet does not have eyes and it's always likely gonna hit a target. These folks seem to not get it. These incidents are a tragic part of American history. Thoughts and prayers and your heart going out to the victims is not enough. It quite frankly is an insult. I am also tired of scapegoating Black on Black crime, Chicago, Baltimore and Democratic mayors for the nation's obsession to be numb to gun violence. You pretty much enable this nonsense by deflecting.

President Joe Biden is trying to curb gun violence. However, he has no support from Republicans. Most Democrats and America are for gun control measures. However the two Democrats in the Senate refuse to change the filibuster rules and its holding us back. 

The National Rifle Association is always pushing against it. They will not relinquish from the narrative that guns are not saving lives. The Republicans aided by a fickle junk food media are openly encouraging anarchy and disruption in a desperate attempt for the Republicans to win back Congress and the White House. These agitators are calling for Biden to curb crime but will not help him. They want more guns on the street. It makes no sense.

So in closing, expect more.

Aubrey Graham, the media mogul known as Drake released his seventh album today.

A surprise album..... Damn, Drake.

The album is experimental, hip-hop, soul and dance hall.

On June 16, 2022, Drake took to social media app Instagram to announce the upcoming release of his seventh studio album Honestly, Nevermind, with a next-day release date of June 17, 2022. He debuted a couple songs on the Sirius XM radio station prior to the release. The album was released on streaming services on midnight, June 17.

The album is released on Universal Records and OVO Sound. Drake, Adonis Graham, Noah "40" Shebib and Oliver El-Khatib are the executive producers of the album.

The Canadian media mogul premiered his album on his Sound42 SiriusXM channel. The album has 14 tracks and it appears to have a guest feature from British-American rapper 21 Savage.

Dr. Anthony Fauci: I Got The Coronavirus!

Dr. Anthony Fauci got the coronavirus.

The leading immunologist serving as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the Chief Medical Advisor to the President tested positive for the coronavirus. 1.04 million Americans died from the coronavirus.

Dr. Anthony Fauci confirmed that he tested positive and assures he is fully vaccinated and has been boosted.

Fauci has not recently been in close contact with President Joe Biden or other senior government officials. He tested positive on a rapid antigen test. He is following public health guidelines and his doctor’s advice, and will return to work at the NIH when he tests negative, according to the statement.

Fauci is Biden’s chief medical adviser and director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. He was a leading member of the White House coronavirus task force under former President .Washed Up 45.

Earlier this week, U.S. Health Secretary Xavier Becerra tested positive for the virus. It was the second time Becerra had come down with symptoms and tested positive.

The year 2020 became the most deadliest for a global disease that wiped out over 6 million people. The former president allowed this deadly pandemic go forth without a care. He allowed his supporters to die by pushing misinformation and conspiracy theories about the origins of the coronavirus.

Biden thought Americans would take this shit seriously. Alas, they ain't willing to do it.

The pandemic is part of the culture wars. This war is costing lives. Thousands of Americans have tested positive each day of the week. Over 100 to 5,000 Americans have died from the coronavirus a day.

These folks not willing to get vaccinated, nor willing to take appropriate steps to prevent infection are the causalities of this culture war.

Folks like myself don't empathize with them. I refuse to. I am tired of dealing with people who think their only way to feel good about themselves is to "own the libs" or stop "wokism."

Of course, there's folks who are fully vaccinated but end up getting the coronavirus. As with vaccines, nothing is 100%. The vaccines are capable of preventing the coronavirus. At best, it's a 94% prevention rate which means 1 out of 500 could be infected even if they're vaccinated.

Republicans so fucking eager to return to power will keep Americans fixated on the culture wars. Now vaccinations are part of this culture war.

We came so far only have a bunch of selfish idiots set it back. Just because they hate President Joe Biden.

The Republicans are so devoted to destroying Biden and the country for what....to regain power.

Pathetic.

The coronavirus doesn't care about your age, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, politics, economic or social standings. It doesn't care about your business, your performances, your personal finances and travel. It doesn't care about the funerals, the birthday parties, the weddings, the vacations, the events and your graduations. It doesn't care about anything. It's a living organism that causes mild symptoms that include: fever, sore throats, chills, respiratory issues, loss of taste or smell and other unknown symptoms. If you have a weak immune system or health issues, your risk increases.

Death does happen to at least 40% of those who are affected by COVID-19. 

If you're not vaccinated, your chances of death increases to 48%.

Healthy people can die from this. Take this seriously. You only have one life!

More Jan. 6 Testimony!

The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 riots will continue today.

This will cover Washed Up 45's last-ditch effort to salvage the 2020 election by pressuring former vice president Karen R. Pence to reject the electoral count — a highly unusual and potentially illegal strategy that was set in motion in the run-up to the U.S. Capitol riot.

With two live witnesses Thursday, the House panel intends to show how Washed Up 45's false claims of a fraudulent election left him grasping for alternatives as courts turned back dozens of lawsuits challenging the vote.

Washed Up 45 latched onto conservative law professor Karen Eastman's obscure plan and launched a public and private pressure campaign on Pence days before the vice president was to preside over the Jan. 6 joint session of Congress to certify Joe Biden's election victory. A federal judge has said it is "more likely than not" the former president committed crimes over the scheme.

"The illegality of the plan was obvious," the Jan. 6 panel said in a court filing against Eastman.

The committee will hear from Greg Jacob, the vice president's counsel who fended off Eastman's ideas for Pence to carry out the plan; and retired federal judge Michael Luttig, who called the plan from Eastman, his former law clerk, "incorrect at every turn."

Thursday's session is also expected to divulge new evidence about the danger Pence faced that day as the mob stormed the Capitol shouting "hang Mike Pence!" with a gallows on the Capitol grounds as the vice president fled with senators into hiding. Nine people died in the riot and its aftermath.

The session is expected to show how Washed Up 45's pressure on Pence "directly contributed" to the attack on the Capitol and how the Eastman strategy posed a "grave, grave threat" to democracy, according to a committee aide who insisted on anonymity to discuss the upcoming hearing.

Ahead of the hearing, Pence's former chief of staff, Marc Short, said his boss was determined to stay at the Capitol that night and finish the job, despite the threats.

"He knew his job was to stay at his post," Short said on CNN on Wednesday.

Short said Pence didn't want the world seeing the vice president leaving the Capitol when "a hallmark of democracy" was under siege.

"He thought it was important that he stay there and make sure the work of the American people was completed that night," said Short, who testified under subpoena to the committee for eight hours, but has not yet appeared as a live witness.

The panel is reconvening for a third hearing this month after a blockbuster prime-time start last week, followed by logistical setbacks in recent days. Monday's key witness, former campaign manager Bill Stepien, abruptly declined to appear in person because his wife was in labor with their child. Wednesday's scheduled hearing with witnesses from the Justice Department who tried to convince the former president that his claims of voter fraud were just not true was postponed.

Nevertheless, the panel's yearlong investigation is portraying a publicly gripping account of Washed Up 45's final weeks in office as the defeated president clung to "the big lie" of a rigged election even as those around him — his family, his top aides, officials at the highest levels of government — were telling him he simply lost the election.

Former Attorney General Karen Barr, who resigned at the end of 2020 rather than be part of the former president's plans, testified earlier that the president was becoming "detached from reality" if he believed the lies. He said he told the president his claims of voter fraud were "bull-—."

With 1,000 interviews and reams of 140,000 documents, the committee is connecting the dots, showing how the former president's false claims of election fraud became a battle cry as he summoned thousands of Americans to Washington for a Jan. 6 rally and then sent them to Capitol Hill to "fight like hell" for his presidency.

More than 800 people have been arrested in the Capitol siege, and the panel is considering whether to send a referral for criminal charges against Washed Up 45 to the Justice Department. No president or former president has ever been indicted by the Justice Department, and Attorney General Merrick Garland has said he and his team are following the proceedings in Congress.

For now, the panel is pressing ahead with its hearings, with more scheduled for next week.

Thursday's will unpack the Eastman plan to have the states send alternative slates of electors from the five or seven states Washed Up 45 was disputing, including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. With competing slates for Washed Up 45 or Biden, Pence would be forced to reject them, returning them to the states to sort it out, under the plan.

Pence refused the plan, believing the founding fathers would not have left it to one person, the vice president, to decide the outcome, Jacob told the panel in previous testimony. Jacob said the idea was utterly against some 130 years of precedent in American history, "entirely made up."

The committee in hearings ahead will be delving into the roles of extremist groups and others who heeded the former president's call to Washington. Leaders and others from the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys face rare sedition charges over their roles in the Capitol attack.

Several members of Congress are also under scrutiny, including Rep. Karen Loudermilk, R-Ga., whom the committee has asked for an interview to discuss a Capitol tour he gave that included basement tunnels to a group of people the day before the attack.

The panel is also probing several candidates for elected office, including the Republican nominee for governor in Pennsylvania, who were among the rioters.

The panel, which is expected to deliver a final report on its findings later this year, intends for its work to be a record for history of the most violent attack on the Capitol since the War of 1812. Unlike other national traumas that have pulled the country together, the Jan. 6 Capitol attack appears to have left many Americans divided. Congress splintered over forming the committee, which most Republicans opposed.

The panel's two Republicans, Rep. Karen Cheney of Wyoming and Rep. Karen Kinzinger of Illinois, have been shunned by the GOP for their work with Democrats leading the investigation into the former president and his role in the Capitol attack.

Rice Falls! Mace Survives!

Rice takes the fall.

Washed Up 45 succeeds in one of two Republican primaries in South Carolina.

Rep. Karen Rice (R-SC) loses his primary while Rep. Karen Mace (R-SC) survives hers.

Rice voted to impeach the former president while Mace criticized Washed Up 45 for being mostly responsible for the Jan. 6 insurrection.

Rice, a five-term congressman, was defeated Tuesday by state lawmaker Karen Fry, who was endorsed by the former president. Rice was a strong supporter of the former president's ’s policies in Washington but said he was left no choice but to impeach the idiot over his failure to calm the mob that violently sought to stop the certification of Joe Biden’s victory.

Mace defeated Karen Arrington, a former Republican nominee who survived a near fatal accident. Mace also angered Trump, but she sought to make amends and won her GOP primary over her own Washed Up 45 backed challenger.

In other races Tuesday, Democratic Rep. Dina Titus (D-NV) handily defeated her progressive challenger Amy Vilela, a candidate endorsed by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO). Rep. Karen Amodei (R-NV) drew a challenge from Karen Tarkanian, of one of the state’s most famous sports figures. In Maine, a former Republican congressman is hoping to reclaim his seat in November in a rematch with the Democrat who defeated him four years ago.

Mace survives the challenge.

In Texas, Republican Karen Flores narrowed Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) majority in the House by winning a special primary election to serve the remaining months of former Democratic Rep. Filemon Vela’s term.

Republicans are motivated by culture wars and white nationalism. 

Democrats are motivated by the repeals of abortion, stalled legislation and racism.

I can not truly predict the Midterms. They say Republicans may take control but the risk is huge. They have no actual platform to run on other than blaming President Joe Biden for the economy they had a part in creating. They will cause more havoc until the presidential election. They also are motivated by a Supreme Court willing to overturn Roe v. Wade, states that loosen gun laws and states that are forcing teachers out of their jobs because of the way they're teaching. They want to ban transgender people from playing gender sports. They want to arm everyone with guns. They want to stop the working class from getting the safety net. 

Mace is a part of the problem. Had Arrington used the spray paint vandalism hoax, she could have won.

Mace was one of the smart Republicans at one time.

Rep-elect Vilela will be sworn in this week.
