Naomi Judd passed away weeks before she was to start her farewell tour.
The country duo The Judds were preparing for their farewell tour after the two had performed at the CMT Awards this month. It appears that we had learned that Naomi Judd, the lead vocalist of The Judds and mother of Wynonna and Ashley Judd passed away.
The Kentucky-born singer passed away at the age of 76. Only two weeks ago, they performed at the CMA Awards on CBS with daughter Wynonna.
The daughters announced her death on Saturday in a statement provided to The Associated Press.
“Today we sisters experienced a tragedy. We lost our beautiful mother to the disease of mental illness,” the statement said. “We are shattered. We are navigating profound grief and know that as we loved her, she was loved by her public. We are in unknown territory.”
Naomi Judd died near Nashville, Tennessee, said a statement on behalf of her husband and fellow singer, Larry Strickland. It said no further details about her death would be released and asked for privacy as the family grieves.
Today we sisters experienced a tragedy. We lost our beautiful mother to the disease of mental illness. We are shattered. We are navigating profound grief and know that as we loved her, she was loved by her public. We are in unknown territory.

We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of @TheNaomiJudd. Naomi, who made up half of legendary Country Music duo, @JuddsOfficial, has forever left a mark on Country Music’s history. Our deepest sympathy goes out to her family and friends during this difficult time. pic.twitter.com/3RWV5jQgQY
The Judds were to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame on Sunday and they had just announced an arena tour to begin in the fall, their first tour together in over a decade. They also made a return to awards shows when they performed at the CMT Music Awards earlier this month.
“Honored to have witnessed “Love Can Build a Bridge” just a few short weeks ago,” singer Maren Morris posted on Twitter on Saturday.
“This is heartbreaking news! Naomi Judd was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever known,” singer Travis Tritt posted on Twitter, noting that he had worked with Judd several times on screen and during performances.
The mother-daughter performers scored 14 No. 1 songs in a career that spanned nearly three decades. After rising to the top of country music, they called it quits in 1991 after doctors diagnosed Naomi Judd with hepatitis C. Wynonna continued her solo career.
The Judds’ hits included “Love Can Build a Bridge” in 1990,“Mama He’s Crazy” in 1984, “Why Not Me” in 1984,“Turn It Loose” in 1988, “Girls Night Out” in 1985, “Rockin’ With the Rhythm of the Rain” in 1986 and “Grandpa” in 1986.
Naomi, Ashley and Wynonna Judd together.
Born Diana Ellen Judd in Ashland, Kentucky, Naomi was working as a nurse in Nashville, when she and Wynonna started singing together professionally. Their unique harmonies, together with elements of acoustic music, bluegrass and blues, made them stand out in the genre at the time.
“We had a such a stamp of originality on what we were trying to do,” Naomi Judd told The AP after it was announced that they would be joining the Country Music Hall of Fame.
The Judds released six studio albums and an EP between 1984 and 1991 and won nine Country Music Association Awards and seven from the Academy of Country Music. They earned a total of five Grammy Awards together on hits like “Why Not Me” and “Give A Little Love,” and Naomi earned a sixth Grammy for writing “Love Can Build a Bridge.”
The Judds also performed at the halftime of the 1994 Super Bowl, along with Travis Tritt, Clint Black and Tanya Tucker.
The Judds sang about family, the belief in marriage and the virtue of fidelity. Because Naomi was so young looking, the two were mistaken for sisters early in their career. She was also known to prefer flashy stage outfits, full of sparkles and rhinestones, over casual boots and cowboy style clothing.
They first got attention singing on Ralph Emery’s morning show in early 1980, where the host named them the “Soap Sisters” because Naomi said she used to make her own soap.
After the success of “Mama He’s Crazy,” they won the Horizon Award at the 1984 CMA Awards. Naomi started her speech by saying “Slap the dog and spit in the fire!”
Naomi Judd was open about her health struggles, as well as severe depression and anxiety. In her memoir, “River of Time,” she described her diagnosis of hepatitis C, which she said she unknowingly contracted during her time as a nurse. She said that by 1995, her doctors had told her she was completely free of the virus.
In the memoir, she described feeling like she had lost her identity when she returned home after a 2010 reunion tour, isolating herself at her home and dealing with crippling panic attacks. She also said that she had been dealing with trauma from childhood sexual abuse. She was admitted to a psychiatric ward at a hospital and spent time in an outpatient treatment program.
Daughter Ashley Judd is an actor and humanitarian known for her roles in such movies as “Kiss the Girls,” ″Double Jeopardy” and “Heat.”
Strickland, who was a backup singer for Elvis Presley, was married to Naomi Judd for 32 years.
The Democrats have decided to rally around the incumbent Ohio lawmaker from the Cleveland metro area. It is a no brainer.
White leftists are angry that President Joe Biden formally endorsed Rep. Shontel Brown (D-OH) over tone deaf leftist Nina Turner. Again, they are so clueless to what goes on in the Ohio 11th Congressional District.
I am thankful for the support of @JoeBiden. From day one, I promised to work with the President and his administration to deliver for the people of Northeast Ohio and bring economic relief and quality health care to all Americans. pic.twitter.com/yeyfegoRq7
— Shontel Brown for Congress (@ShontelMBrown) April 29, 2022
Brown will win because of Black women and Jewish voters. For one thing, the more attacks on Brown from leftists, the more Blacks are turned off to Turner. The second thing, Turner is not favored because of her stances on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I tend to agree only with Turner on the stance of the Israeli government committing war crimes against those living in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
Turner is also trying to distance herself from the "half of bowl of shit" remarks. That will go down in history as one of the most dumbest things in ruining a political candidate's campaign.
Oil barons and Wall Street Republicans are spending MILLIONS against me to buy this seat.
Brown is considered a reliable vote. She doesn't want to be Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO), Rep. Idiot Karen Greene (R-GA), Rep. Karen Cawthorn (R-NC), Rep. Karen Boebert (R-CO), Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Rep. Karen Gaetz (R-FL) and Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA). She wants to do her job and deliver results to the constituents.
They want to make noise and continue to cause chaos in Congress. Turner vowed to be that chaos if she was elected.
“Shontel Brown has been an ardent advocate for the people of Ohio and a true partner in Congress,” the president said in a statement. “We need leaders like Shontel to help continue the fight to respond to this pandemic, lower costs for working families, and rebuild the middle class. Shontel is committed to building a better America. I am proud to endorse Shontel Brown for Ohio’s 11th District in the U.S. House of Representatives.”
Brown issued a statement thanking Biden for his support.
Nina Turner is going to lose. Despite the noise, Turner doesn't have the national press on her.
“From day one, I promised to work with the President and his administration to deliver for the people of Northeast Ohio and bring economic relief and quality health care to all Americans,” she said. “That is why I have helped advance key parts of the President’s agenda like the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, bringing good-paying jobs to our state, and repairing our roads, bridges, and rails. I will continue to be a unifying leader in Congress as I work with President Biden to deliver for the people of the 11th Congressional District.”
What irks me is the fact that Brown is running in a majority Black, heavily Democratic district. Turner on the other hand is not running like she's for the district. She is more inclined to appeal to white voters and people who do not live in the district.
Q: Since when does the president weigh in on a Congressional primary race?
A: When the person he weighs in against is so unbelievably powerful that the entire corrupt neoliberal establishment would be quivering in its shoes each day she walks the halls of Congress.@ninaturner
"...they will buy politicians, & it's unfortunate that one of the politicians in this race...is for sale....You want to know that of matters...like your wellbeing...you want people willing to get to the root of the problem" - @ninaturner#Ohio

Given that many of her allies are failed candidates themselves. Cenk Uygur, Jen Perelman, Briahna Joy Gray and Marianne Williamson are failed candidates. Daniel Marans is not considered a popular feature on HuffPost. Katie Halper, Matt Taibbi, Krystal Ball, Kyle Kulinski, Jimmy Dore, Ana Kasparian and Sam Sader are blacklisted in progressive circles due to their views being too extreme.

Again I don't give two fucks about the gossip going on with lawmakers, President Joe Biden. Vice President Kamala Harris and media agitators. We don't know them personally amd we only got a perception of them through what is seen on television, radio and the internet.
Hell yeah, I can't stand members of the Republican Party as well as some in the Democratic Party. I am sick and tired of these lawmakers always being in the news for controversies instead of legislative accomplishments. Every lawmaker who relishes on social ills are likely the ones who have no accomplishments anyway.
Rep. Idiot Karen Greene (R-GA) and Rep. Karen Boebert (R-CO) had a heated argument that almost came to blows. Again, speculation. The two are polarizing and a part of the do-nothings who only make news for clout and clicks.
Both far-right freshmen known for stirring controversy, are actually not as close as they seem, according to a new Politico report on Friday.
The report, which explores cracks within the conservative House Freedom Caucus, detailed how Greene and Boebert don't see eye to eye.
GOP lawmakers anonymously told the news outlet that Boebert detests being associated with Greene. The Colorado congresswoman is also viewed more as a team player than her Georgia colleague, Republicans told Politico.
The pair recently engaged in a tense exchange over Greene's attendance at a February conference organized by white nationalist *ick Fuentes. Greene had faced criticism from within her party for her attendance at the gathering, but her confrontation with Boebert blew up to the point where another unnamed lawmaker had to step in to de-escalate the situation, according to Politico. Three people close to the House Freedom Caucus confirmed the back-and-forth to Politico, which took place during a board of directors meeting last month.
Gaetz probably had to break them up. The two women are ego tripping.
The reporting comes as Boebert and Greene have often been lumped together as vocal Washed Up 45 supporters who represent the right-wing faction of the party. The two regularly advocate for the same issues, and notably heckled President Joe Biden together during his State of the Union address. Yet the heckling took place only a day after their argument, Politico reported.
Spokespeople for Greene and Boebert did not immediately return Insider's requests for comment.
Greene has recently been in the news because of a challenge to her candidacy brought by the group Free Speech for the People, which wants to disqualify her from serving in Congress over what it describes as her support for the January 6, 2021, insurrection. During an administrative hearing in Atlanta last week, Greene said she did not recall a slew of documented and alleged statements she's made, including whether she told former president to invoke martial law to remain in power.
Cawthorn in the Eagle's Nest, Adolf Hitler's retreat.
The North Carolina freshman lawmaker continues to become a distraction to the Republican agenda. He is now caught up in three controversies. One for alleged insider trading. Two for carrying a loaded firearm in his luggage and TSA caught him again. Three for wearing women's lingerie apparently being drunk. Four, he and his scheduling staffer were caught in alleged homosexual activities.
Rep. Karen Cawthorn (R-NC) is one of 90 members who have no legislative accomplishments. There are 53 Republicans and 37 Democrats in the House of Representatives who are there for clout and social media attention. They have nothing to prove other than being distractions to the respective parties.
Cawthorn who is paralyzed from the waist down won his bid to be the Republican nominee after Washed Up 45 endorsed his opponent instead of him. But not to be deterred, Cawthorn, 26 became the youngest member elected at the age of 25.
His real name is David Madison Cawthorn.
“Tomorrow we go to the moon!”
This reply to a post of Let’s Go Brandon coin investors is the evidence being cited by those accusing Madison Cawthorn of insider trading. They allege he knew they would be announcing a deal with NASCAR driver Brandon Brown the next day. pic.twitter.com/xoOsFMwfCt
Sen. Thom Tillis R-NC calls for a House Ethics investigation of Rep. Madison Cawthorn R-NC over new reporting by the Washington Examiner suggesting Cawthorn may have engaged in insider trading. pic.twitter.com/tp0XpWrG4M
1. Sen. Karen Tillis (R-NC) became the first Republican in North Carolina to loose faith in him. He endorsed a challenger to Cawthorn. Tillis called on Congress to investigate Cawthorn for insider trading. He had an investment in the "Let's Go Brandon" cryptocurrency which is supposedly an insult on President Joe Biden. The lawmaker posed in pictures with Karen Koutoulas, a hedge fund investor and Karen Norden, the co-founder of the cryptocurrency. They celebrated the coin being legitimized and wanted NASCAR driver Brandon Brown (the guy who semi-responsible) for the "Let's Go Brandon" nonsense to sponsor it. NASCAR said it will not allow that in their races. The stock shot up being worth $570 million. But as soon as the deal to be a part of NASCAR fell through, the stock tanked.
Man, @CawthornforNC@RepCawthorn doesn't seem to realize he isn't above the law. THIS is the republican star in his latest run in with law enforcement - cited for being in possession of a firearm at Charlotte Douglas International Airport on Tuesday morning. pic.twitter.com/1qf14F0aSI
2. So the lawmaker was at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport when a TSA officer detected a firearm. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department confirmed it belonged to the lawmaker and he was cited for possession of a dangerous weapon on city property. He had a Glock 9mm firearm in his baggage. TSA could cite him and fine heavily for that.
3. The lawmaker was doing things like Ohio senate candidate Karen Mandel. He was caught in drag. He was wearing lingerie while posing with women. He appeared to be drunk. The lawmaker dismissed the photos saying "hey, I'm just enjoying life....hasn't anyone in their lives done something stupid?" The lawmaker had said many Republicans participated in cocaine sex orgies. That riled up QAnon Leader Karen McCarthy (R-CA). He warned Cawthorn to shut his mouth or lose GOP funding for his reelection bid.
4. The lawmaker also now has a gay scandal. His male staffer had his hand on his crotch. The male scheduler claims that he gave him gifts and loans which prompted an ethic complaint. The 23-year old name Stephen Smith was seen in a car with his hand grabbing the crotch of Cawthorn. He has a suspended license in the state of North Carolina. So he has no business being behind the wheel. The staffer and Cawthorn had Venmo accounts of transactions. Some of those transactions have "cruising" written all over them. None of these allegations prove much of his possible gayness but it does come to question why he divorced his wife after eight months of marriage.
Secret lovers.
Republicans are trying to focus on culture wars and a continuation of blocking President Joe Biden's agenda. Many of these Republicans are scared of being primaried by Washed Up 45's picks. Many of these Republicans would scream about things Biden ain't doing but never have a damn thing to counter it. They rather keep the focus on the "Southern Border" and inflation. The border is a dog whistle for white nationalists. Inflation is a global crisis and many white nationalists are not satisfied with the president's policies because of their hatred. They believe Democrats, critical race theory, immigrants, Blacks, LGBTQ, antifa and Black Lives Matter are the reasons to why America's slow downfall.
They don't care about those extremists trying to overthrow democracy. They don't see their own members in Congress or state legislature as the threats. All they need in their culture wars are scapegoats.
Plenty of them.
Cawthorn would have not been in the news if he wasn't such an asshole. The Republicans are considering abandoning his bid for a second term.
White racist slapped pizza worker because they ran out of products.
A woman in Enid, Oklahoma is facing misdemeanor charges and possible state hate crime charges after she called a Little Caesars worker a NIGGER and slapped him open palm after they ran out of "crazy bread."
The worker was left shaken by the whole ordeal and the time it took to capture the suspect.
"He's shocked and he's traumatized," said Ronald "Skip" Kelly. "To intimidate and traumatize a child is about as low as you go."
The suspect, 71 is facing charges after slapping a 17-year old Little Caesar's employee after she ordered two pizzas with crazy bread. The Black Wall Street Times reported this before it became a national headline.
The woman drove her van up to the drive-thru window and was upset that the victim told her they ran out of crazy bread but he was to offer something in exchange. She started throwing him a handful of racial slurs.
"She proceeds to call him the n-word," said Kelly. She don't just call him the n-word. She prefaces with you fucking n-word."
Woman got out of her van and slapped Black worker.
According to court documents, the woman then asked the teen if she hurt him. When the teen replied the name calling didn't phase him, she then laces an open palm slap over his face.
Two weeks after the incident, the Enid Police got a hold of the suspect. The police were tipped by the license plate and confirmation from workers and the victim. She is facing up to 90-days in the county lockup with potential of a year in. SHe also has a $1,000 fine for the whole ordeal.
Garfield County District Attorney Michael Fields said that Enid Police could not arrest the suspect because the officers did not witness the misdemeanor with their own eyes. Fields said officers had to pass the case off to the District Attorney so the prosecutors could conduct their own interviews before obtaining a warrant to arrest the suspect.
So if the 17-year old would have physically assault this white woman in the face, how much you bet the law would immediately arrest him without a two week period. On top of that, they would charge him as an adult and possibly throw sexual assault if she claims he grabbed her breasts.
Little Caesars spent millions to revamp their locations in the United States.
The suspect claims that she "harassed him like I always do." She claimed she was just "joking around with the kid ... you know how it is."
"These types of cases would not have taken that long if the parties would have been reversed," said Kelly. "No one should get the privilege to violate somebody else's space, somebody else's body, somebody else's rights."
The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The company had also placed a permanent banned on that suspect at their locations in the state. Reps for Little Caesars said the ordeal was not tolerable and they had reached out to the franchise and victim for any assistance.

Jared Padalecki survived a near fatal. He is the long time co-star of Supernatural and star of Walker on The CW Network.
The Supernatural and Walker star almost died from a near fatal car accident. Jared Padalecki was injured in a car accident while in Texas. The actor shares an update to his condition.
Jared is “on the mend” following a recent car crash.
“Supernatural” fans first learned of the incident from fellow costar Jensen Ackles. Over the weekend, Ackles told a crowd at an event the 39-year-old actor had been in a car crash.
Hey y’all! I want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love. I’m definitely on the mend and hoping to return to filming later this week. I’m so lucky to have had the best care and be surrounded by people who love me. So grateful for everyone🙏#SPNFamily#WalkerFamily#AKFpic.twitter.com/TF1C73sbX8
It’s unclear if the crash happened in Austin. KXAN is working to confirm where the crash took place.
“He was in a very bad car accident. He wasn’t driving, he was in the passenger seat, and he’s lucky to be alive,” Ackles said of Padalecki in a video shared on social media.
Fans took to Twitter to send their best wishes to the actor. It sparked a response from Padalecki.
“Hey y’all! I want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love. I’m definitely on the mend and hoping to return to filming later this week,” Padalecki wrote on Twitter. “I’m so lucky to have had the best care and be surrounded by people who love me. So grateful for everyone.”
Padalecki currently plays Cordell Walker in “Walker,” a reimagining of the hit series “Walker, Texas Ranger” that airs on The CW and films in Austin.
The post included a picture of the “Walker actor” and one of his three children. Ackles told fans his costar was recovering at home. Padalecki and his family have lived in Austin for more than a decade. Their ‘modern farmhouse’ was featured in Architectural Digest in 2021, and Padalecki participated in the Austin Marathon.
Diplomacy is at an all-time low between the U.S. and Russian Federation.
The U.S. is working to get Americans out of Russian prisons. The countries relationship is at an all-time low and it's a difficult challenge to get Americans out of the Russian Federation.
Russia and the United States carried out a dramatic exchange with Trevor Reed, a Marine veteran who was arrested in Moscow for assault. He was given a 10-year bid and was doing hard time.
Reed's family pressed President Joe Biden and Washed Up 45, previously to get their son out of that country. He was in the prison for three years.
Reed, a Texas native and former Marine was accused of being drunk and getting into a fight with a cop.
Reed maintained innocence throughout his whole ordeal.
This was not an easy deal. The U.S. had to release a high profile Russian national who served 20 years in the federal time out for cocaine trafficking.
Konstantin Yaroshenko was exchanged for Reed's release. He was arrested in Liberia and extradited to the United States.
Reed thanks President Joe Biden "for making the decision to bring Trevor home" as well as other administration officials including Bill Richardson, the former diplomat and New Mexican governor who orchestrated the deal to get Reed out.
Now it appears that the U.S. is working on trying to get Brittney Griner, a WNBA player who was detained in Russia back in 2022 for illegally smuggling cannabis derivative.
Paul Whelan is also in Russia's prisons. He was accused of espionage and he is serving a 25 year bid.
Biden promised to get those individuals out of Russia.
It would be difficult to get Edward Snowden. Russia granted temporary asylum to the guy who leaked NSA's wiretapping projects to the press. His passport was cancelled while in flight and he was close to being arrested. Now he's staying in Russia and has
Ohio man got sucker punched by a goon. He died and the suspect is charged.
An Ohio man was killed after a goon served him a two piece meal with a biscuit. The incident happened in Dayton, Ohio. It would be the type of stuff the far right would be obsessed with.
A Setters Volleyball Club in Dayton was the scene of a manslaughter. The suspect is in custody and a man is dead from that two piece.
The club is honoring the victim.
Ronnie Brown, 60 was a longtime bouncer and worker at the volleyball club. He was served by this goon after his posse were told to leave the property after they did spinouts with their ATVs and cars.
The suspect and his posse were engaging in arguments with other patrons at the club when Ronnie tried to separate the groups. Out of nowhere, the suspect served him a hot plate. Ronnie fell to the ground and it must have led to massive trauma to his head. He was unconscious and not breathing.
Already on probation this goon sucker punched a man and killed him.
The suspect and his posse fled the scene and the Dayton Police would arrive. They took Ronnie to the hospital and he was in coma. They declared him brain dead and took him off life support and he died.
Now this 36-year old goon will face charges felonious assault, involuntary manslaughter and malicious assault. Now that the victim is dead, it will be a 15-year to LIFE if the suspect if found guilty of this.
Dayton Police Major Brian Johns said the suspect was already on an in-house and it appears he doesn't seem to understand that his violation is likely the end of his freedom.
The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Lisa Nicole Lopes, a member of the R&B group TLC was tragically killed on April 25, 2002 in Honduras.
Lopes was known as Left Eye. She was an American singer, rapper, actress and business mogul. She was only 30 years old when she was killed in a car crash while organizing a charity work in the country. She was working on a documentary when she died from injuries after being thrown out of the vehicle.
When Left Eye joined Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chill" Thomas in an open casting call, Perri Reid, then wife of media mogul and alleged sexual predator Antonio "L.A." Reid was impressed by the three women. She developed them to become pop icons and gave them the deal to sign to LaFace Records.
LaFace was started by Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds and Antonio "L.A." Reid, then members of R&B group The Deele. Lopes, a native of Philadelphia moved to Atlanta to get build her singing and rapping talents.
Left Eye said that she got the name after Michael Bivins, one of the producers at the time and member of New Edition flirted with her. Left Eye had a squinty eye (lazy eye) and wore glasses in the past. She used a patch with a condom on to champion safer sex.
The group released their debut album Ooooooohh... On the TLC Tip. It had four hits and soled over six million copies worldwide, leading the group becoming a household name.
TLC came through the 1990s like a lion.
Left Eye would soon find love with a cheater. She dated former Atlanta Falcons star Andre Rison. She moved in with him and his two children in a luxury home. Left Eye accused Rison of cheating and abuse. When the allegations were not heard, she ended up becoming embolden with alcohol. She ended up getting his closet and grabbed a handful of shoes pour lighter fluid and her liquor on them. She would start a fire and it got out of control. The home would be burned down. Left Eye was criminally charged with arson and malicious destruction of property. Rison decided to not go forward with criminal intent and Left Eye was given five years of in-house and hefty fine. They ended up breaking up and sometimes reuniting during her final years.
Left Eye would end up going to rehab to get treated for depression, alcoholism and possible drug abuse.
As TLC was preparing for their second album, CrazySexyCool, Left Eye was notably absent from some of the album because of her stint in rehab and in-house. It almost led to the group breaking up.
However, Left Eye was studying the music of Tupac Shakur and Kurupt. She decided to develop the N.I.N.A. persona (New Identity Not Applicable). So instead of working with T-Boz and Chilli, Left Eye decided to pursue a solo career to build up her image as the "bad girl" of the group.
Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas were found by R&B singer Pebbles. She made them famous.
She appeared as features in Lil' Kim's "Not Tonight (Ladies Night)" with Angie Martinez and Da Brat, Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott. She appeared on Keith Sweat's "Do You Like It?" and "Freedom" on the Black Panther (docudrama) soundtrack. She was nominated for a Grammy because of that single.
Left Eye was hoping to score a solo career in hip-hop as N.I.N.A. under Death Row Records. That move didn't work well with T-Boz and Chilli. They felt that her issues were causing the group to become toxic. So they distanced themselves from her after they released their album Fanmail.
Left Eye was upset and called them out. She said that Dallas Austin didn't give her the opportunities she wanted and felt that the group would better without her. She challenged T-Boz and Chilli to release solo projects and match up to hers and make it a 3-disc album.
Chilli said that Left Eye's antics were out of control and felt it was selfish and heartless for her speak out against the group and make noise.
So they decided to take a hiatus. Left Eye would end pursuing her own version of TLC by creating Blaque. The group released their first album with Left Eye executive producing it.
Rest well Left Eye.
Then she released her only solo album Supernova. The album was shelved because of Arista and LaFace Records put a hold on the album's release through Death Row. It was released on the streaming sites.
Left Eye also had an opportunity to be in acting, she appeared in House Party III and hosted MTV's The Cut. She also had interest in making a TLC-like group called Egypt. She even thought about adopting children.
At the peak of her life, she was developing a documentary about her life struggles and finding peace in Honduras. She was driving a rented Mitsubishi Montero when she swerved to avoid a truck. She turned sharply to the left and the car flipped. It rolled three times and landed on the trees. Left Eye was severely injured. She was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained blunt force trauma.
She was buried in Atlanta's suburb of Lithonia. Her funeral was covered by MTV and BET.
Her two former members Chilli and T-Boz shared their memories about her.
This will be the 20th anniversary of her passing. I wanted to give you a brief history and legacy of Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes. She was a young talent lost too early. Never taking her break off the rise to stardom, Left Eye left us a part of hip-hop culture, conscience and sobriety.
QAnon Karen McCarthy said his members are cray cray and the FBI is noticing.
Listening to Republicans call Democrats socialists and traitors is dangerous. Mind you that many of these candidates running for office are using culture wars to court Republican voters. They are concerned about inflation, higher taxes, critical race theory, transgender girls playing sports, teaching children about the LGBTQ community, the southern border, illegal immigrants, crime, banning abortions after 15 weeks and voter integrity. They call Black Lives Matter racist. They believe Jesus Christ dominates American way of life. They think radical Islam is a threat. They support Israel no matter what it does. They cheer for Ukraine to spiral into chaos. They call for the banning of books that are considered too political for children. Yet, they call the Democrats the party of big government.
Of course, they have no policies or ideas to counter the Democrats' kitchen table issues that they're pushing on. Yes, some Democrats want to get involved in culture wars despite some reservations.
Republicans are passing gerrymandered maps to ensure a majority in the Midterms. They are passing legislation in preparedness of the Supreme Court ruling in the Mississippi abortion ban. They are suing the federal government over mask mandates They are suing over the border because of a policy started by Washed Up 45 and are demanding that President Joe Biden keep it in place. They are not willing to work with the president on confirming nominees. They turned down a chance to be a part of history.
These three stooges are dangerous.
They voted against the first African American woman to sit on the Supreme Court because of some perceived conspiracy theories online. They are still dabbling in QAnon by calling lawmakers groomers. They are cheering on a South African billionaire's attempts to hostile takeover of Twitter. They are only concerned with culture wars instead of policies to make inflation go down. They are cheering for the Russian Federation to destroy Ukraine so they can blame Biden for weakness. They are concerned about Biden's physical capacity as president even though the former president said things that could have cause panic in the world.
Republicans have no shame in what they do. As long as they can own the libs in some fashion, they're embolden to vote.
So over 1.05 million people have died from the coronavirus. As the world is slowly returning to normal, we still have to deal with the COVID for a foreseeable future. Thanks to Republicans refusal to trust science and doctors, we lost so many lives to this as the World Health Organization predicted the U.S. would expect if no one took it seriously.
Trash Levin with Karen Brooks and Karen Gaetz.
Over 50,000 Americans are dead from gun violence.
We have a 98 House members of Congress who have no legislative accomplishments. That includes Democrats. Of those 98 House members, 25 of them are considered too extreme to be legislators. In the Senate, they have 38 Republican senators who are considered too extreme to be legislators.
Hence forth the QAnon Leader Karen McCarthy's (R-CA) warning to the Republican members in 2021 in the aftermath of the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. He and white nationalist whip Karen Scalise (R-LA) were concerned about how many of these lawmakers were putting lives in danger because of the lies spread by Washed Up 45. Of course, the Republicans aren't concerned about these tapes.
In fact, they dismissed them as old news. Yet, they're still obsessed with Hunter Biden's laptop and Hillary Clinton's emails. See what I put in. They said that the attack on the U.S. Capitol is "legitimate political discourse."
In a private meeting on Wednesday, top loyalists to Washed Up 45 tangled with McCarthy and Scalise over leaked post-Jan. 6 audio of the two criticizing far-right lawmakers for inciting violence against other lawmakers.
Despite the explosive new audio, McCarthy remains in the good graces of most House Republicans, and for now, does not appear to have imperiled his bid to become the next House speaker, assuming Republicans take control of the chamber.
House Republicans leaving the closed-door meeting said McCarthy addressed the leaked tapes in his opening remarks, saying the GOP needs to move forward and lead on issues Americans care about, including border security and inflation.
Karens in the Wild.
McCarthy then received a standing ovation, lawmakers said.
The new audio, which included McCarthy in a closed-door meeting saying he would recommend Washed Up 45 resign instead of being removed from office by Congress, has come at a particularly bad time for the Republican leader, whose party is increasingly confident it will take control of the House in November and who has been positioning himself to be the speaker when that happens.
“I am here to say he’s going to be the next speaker,” Rep. Karen Williams (R-TX) told NBC News as he left the gathering at the Capitol Hill Club. “He said the right things for me; now I’m just one guy. He’s answered it and he’s answered it good enough for me.”
Rep. Karen Loudermilk (R-GA) summarized McCarthy's message as: “We need to keep on track and keep pushing. This is a distraction, folks. C’mon. This is simply a distraction by the left trying to drive a wedge in a very unified Republican Party and a very unified conference.”
But things got more heated as the meeting wrapped up. Alleged sexual predator Rep. Karen Gaetz (R-FL) directly questioned McCarthy and Scalise over the Jan. 10, 2021, audio, obtained by The New York Times, in which the leaders could be heard on a conference call discussing Gaetz, Rep. Karen Brooks (R-AL) and other conservatives who they thought posed threats to their colleagues.
n the audio, McCarthy said of Gaetz, who frequently appeared on TV and criticized Rep. Karen Cheney (R-WY) after the riot: “He’s putting people in jeopardy. And he doesn’t need to be doing this. We saw what people would do in the Capitol, you know, and these people came prepared with rope, with everything else.”
Scalise later said of Gaetz: “It’s potentially illegal what he’s doing.”
Most of the Republicans in Congress are white.
Gaetz, who spoke during the meeting, asked Scalise to state which of his comments he considered “illegal,” according to two sources in the room. Scalise didn’t give specifics. Instead, he replied that there was a lot of information “flying around” during that confusing period and he was reacting on the call to a Cheney aide who had claimed that Gaetz had threatened her safety.
One source in the meeting pointed to Scalise's experience of being shot in 2017 while practicing for a baseball game, saying, “Obviously given his own experiences with threats, he’s sensitive to that and takes it seriously.”
Scalise “wouldn’t let Gaetz run away with his comments,” said one GOP lawmaker who witnessed the “heated” exchange.
Responding to Gaetz, McCarthy urged unity and said Republicans should be attacking Democrats.
Another Washed Up 45 loyalist, Rep. Idiot Karen Greene (R-GA) also chimed in, pressing both McCarthy and Scalise to apologize for talking about the conservative lawmakers on the private leadership call, sources said. Neither apologized.
Leaving the meeting, Gaetz repeatedly declined to comment, directing reporters to his tweet a day earlier criticizing the leaders.
