Legendary actor George Segal passed away. His family confirmed his passing and the ABC Signature Studios have also confirmed the news. His wife Sonia wrote in a statement:
"The family is devastated to announce that this morning George Segal passed away due to complications from bypass surgery."
The news hit the cast of The Goldbergs which was wrapping up it season.
Wendi McLendon-Covey, the star of the ABC comedy quickly reacted to the news of his passing.

The Goldbergs executive producer Adam F. Goldberg shared his thoughts on the passing of Segal. He called George a great man. Goldberg wrote and produced the semi-autobiographical sitcom and Segal played Adam's grandfather Albert "Pops" Solomon. Pops was Beverly Goldberg's (McLendon-Covey) father.

His love for the banjo and roles in dramas, horrors and comedy made his a legend.
George performed at New York's Carnegie Hall in 1981 with his group, the Beverly Hills Unlisted Jazz Band.
Some of his most notable movies were Ship of Fools (1965), King Rat (1965), Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966), A Touch of Class (1973) and Flirting with Disaster (1997).
He was one o the first American film actors to rise to leading man status with an unchanged Jewish surname, thus helping to pave the way for artists such as Dustin Hoffman and Barbara Streisand.
The Goldbergs is one of the most successful ABC sitcoms on Wednesday night.
For the past eight years, Segal had been a series regular on ABC’s 1980s-set family comedy The Goldbergs. The last episode he filmed before his death, Episode 16 of the show’s current eighth season, is set to air April 7. The series is expected to pay tribute to Segal on-air.
Segal probably is best known for his TV sitcom roles as magazine publisher Jack Gallo on NBC’s Just Shoot Me!, a role that earned him two Golden Globe nominations, and as family patriarch Albert “Pops” Solomon on The Goldbergs. He also headlined the late-’80s ABC detective drama Murphy’s Law, the 1987 CBS comedy Take Five and TV Land sitcom Retired at 35.
Born on February 13, 1934, in Great Neck, NY, Segal did a stint in the military before getting his start on the small screen, guesting on shows including Naked City, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour and Arrest and Trial.
He also had a handful of Broadway roles, including starring with John Lithgow in the 1985 adaptation of Rod Serling’s Requiem for a Heavyweight and 1999’s Art with Alan Alda, Victor Garbver and Alfred Molina.
Along with his Academy Award nomination, Segal was a five-time Golden Globe nominee and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

So here we are! Once again, another mass shooting in the United States and the country is once again polarized over the debate to stop gun violence. The terrorist killed ten people. One of the victims is a 11-year veteran with the Boulder Police.
The city of Boulder is also fumed at a circuit judge who just only a week ago blocked a city ordinance that banned residents from using AR-15 and AK-47 in their jurisdiction.
King Soopers is closed indefinitely due to the mass shooting. Unknown if Kroger Company is planning on reopening the store after this massacre.
So President Joe Biden spoke on Tuesday about the tragedy. The mass shooting at a King Soopers, a Kroger affiliated grocery in the Mountain West took the lives of 10. The terrorist was caught but injured while engaged in a firefight with the Boulder Police and Jefferson County SWAT.
The Boulder County prosecutor has issued capital murder charges on the terrorist.
The 21-year old terrorists' motives aren't revealed but its alleged he was born in Syria. He was frustrated about finding love and despised Washed Up 45's policies towards the Middle East.
The terrorist surrendered after he was injured. He was treated at a local hospital for a gun shot wound to his leg. He was detained by the Boulder Police with no shirt and in his underwear while he limped towards a police vehicle.
Like the Charleston terrorist, the law let him get some food, a call to his religious leader, his mother and a lawyer.
The family confirms the terrorist was mentally ill. They said he was picked on in high school and had been rejected numerous times by women. Another incel, folks.
They said he was "very anti-social" and "paranoid."
Among the victims is a Boulder Police Officer.
The victims were identified. Rikki Olds, 25;Teri Leiker, 51; Tralona Bartkowiak, 49; Denny Strong, 20; Neven Stanisic, 23; Suzanne Fountain, 59; Kevin Mahoney, 61; Lynn Murray, 62; and Jody Waters, 65.
Officer Eric Talley, 51, was the first officer to be killed in the line of duty in years. The cop was recently changed jobs to work more away from the front-line. He was a married father-of-seven.
Conservatives: You can't claim to be supportive of Blue Lives Matter when your asses ain't doing anything to stop gun violence.
Leiker was a woman who worked for King Soopers for years. The often said that workers loved her and she often left behind positive notes like "your buddy Teri" whenever she announced on the intercom at King Soopers.
The Jefferson County SWAT was sent to Boulder County on the signal of a mass casualty event where their mission was to take "headshots" to disarm the terrorist.
Some of the witnesses saw the terrorist come into King Soopers in a daze before he started opening fire on shoppers. Since Colorado is an open carry and stand your ground state, many didn't expect it was coming.
The law takes the bloody partially clothed terrorist to a stretcher.
He launched his attack around 3pm. He first shot at two people in the parking lot. Then he took aim at shoppers exiting and coming near the door. Then he decided to take the shooting towards each aisle of the store.
A man filming on YouTube livestreamed the extremely graphic aftermath of the mass shooting. The video went viral and it triggered Gov. Jared Polis to respond to the situation in real time.
Polis had stated in his briefing, "My heart is breaking as we watch this unspeakable event unfold in our Boulder community."
"We are making every public safety resource available to assist the Boulder County Sheriff's Department as they work to secure the store. I'm incredibly grateful to the brave men and women who have responded to the scene to help the victims of this senseless tragedy."
Schools and the University of Colorado are currently in shutdown.
The terrorist's brother said that he heard voices. He said that to The Daily Beast that he feared society was out to get him.
Biden calls for an assault rifle ban.
"[He believed] he was being chased, someone is behind him, someone is looking for him. When he was having lunch with my sister in a restaurant, he said, 'People are in the parking lot, they are looking for me.' She went out, and there was no one. We don't know what was going on in his head."
Biden, Polis, Vice President Kamala Harris, Sen. John Hickenlooper (D-CO), Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO) and the U.S. Representatives from Colorado offered their "thoughts and prayers," their "hearts going out to" and the "thanks to those risking their lives" in the event of a deadly mass shooting.
Folks are also calling into question the way the suspect was treated. Elijah McClain was detained without any reason, given a sedative and went into cardiac arrest. He died and the family slammed the city of Aurora for the incident. The city of Aurora, located 35 miles from Boulder has been under fire for not only its police agency's treatment of people of color to the numerous events involving firearms.
The Denver metro area with 3.2 million residents is by far the most infamous area for mass shootings.
Since Littleton at the Columbine High School, the mass shooting keep happening. The Dark Knight Rises mass shooting at an Aurora movie theater was another notable event.
Every time we get to this point of a mass shooting, we start the blame game.
Family said he was an incel and paranoid about things.
The Blame Game is often controversial. Because since this suspect is a Syrian-born man, the immediate assumption from the far-right is the suspect is a Muslim. The far-right will rehash this "radical Islam" and "anti-immigrant" rant. They will say that Washed Up 45 kept Americans safe.
I can only imagine how the far-right is relieved that the suspect is not a White (non-Hispanic) man.
Just last week, we were mourning the eight lives lost in the Atlanta spa massacre. A white terrorist went into three massage parlors and killed innocent people. The Cherokee County Sheriff's spokesman said that the terrorist had a "really bad day."
So did this guy have a really bad day? I mean he's rejected by women. He thought the world didn't give a fuck about him. He had no criminal history. He had easy access to obtain a firearm and managed to use it without any restrictions. He played the part of a normal person or had person buy the firearm for him.

The state judge who gave the National Rifle Association a victory is under fire. District Judge Andrew Hartman blocked the Boulder assault weapon ban in early March. Only a few days before this shooting.

In Gresham, Oregon, there were four people shot in an incident. In Houston, five people were shot inside a club. In Dallas, eight people were shot in a club. In Philadelphia, there were six people shot at an "after hours" club where liquor was being served post restrictions.
Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) continues to drag herself into the cesspool. The white nationalist who owns a restaurant outside of Colorado Springs often has her female servers wear firearms on their hips, short shorts, sandals or cowboy boots. Boebert, a Q'Anon supporting white nationalist along with many Republicans are quickly denouncing Biden's call to strengthen gun laws.
Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) also faced flack as well. He posted on his social media him shooting from his wheelchair and using his bare knuckles to knock down a tree. It was some dumbass attempt for the white nationalist to prove he's a "manly man."

One of the greatest of all time has passed away!
The Los Angeles Lakers confirms that Elgin Baylor passed away. He joins the likes of Kobe Bryant and Wilt Chamberlain in the history of greats.
Baylor, who played for the Lakers for 14 seasons and was an All-Star 11 times, was 86.
"Elgin was the love of my life and my best friend," his wife, Elaine, said in a statement provided by the team. "And like everyone else, I was in awe of his immense courage, dignity and the time he gave to all fans. At this time we ask that I and our family be allowed to mourn his passing in privacy."
According to the Lakers, Baylor died with Elaine and his daughter, Krystal, by his side.
Baylor was a prolific scorer and only two men in NBA history -- Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain -- averaged more points per game.
Baylor once held the single-game regular-season scoring record with 71 points.
In the 1961-62 season, he was active duty Army, stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington. According to the Army, he used his weekend passes to play for the Lakers and averaged more than 38 points and almost 19 rebounds per game in 48 contests.
Baylor was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1977. His Hall of Fame biography describes Baylor as "the first athlete to play above the rim, paving the way for future leapers like Connie Hawkins, Julius Erving, and Michael Jordan."
He played with the Lakers his entire career, including two seasons when the franchise was still based in Minneapolis.
"Elgin was THE superstar of his era -- his many accolades speak to that," said Lakers owner Jeanie Buss. "He was one of the few Lakers players whose career spanned from Minneapolis to Los Angeles. But more importantly he was a man of great integrity."
The Lakers retired his No. 22 jersey in 1983.
"RIP to the NBA's first high flyer, Lakers Legend, & Hall of Famer Elgin Baylor," former Lakers great Magic Johnson tweeted. "Before there was Michael Jordan doing amazing things in the air, there was Elgin Baylor! A true class act and great man, I'll always appreciate the advice he shared with me when I first came into the league. Cookie and I are praying for his wife Elaine, kids, and the entire Baylor family."
The National Basketball Players Association said Baylor had a profound impact on the game and players who followed him.
"During his playing career, Elgin was a strong voice for the collective group, standing up to push for guaranteed benefits and improved working conditions for all players," the association said. "Elgin's early advocacy played a vital role in the formation of our union and we are forever grateful for his courage and contributions.'
Baylor was also a longtime NBA executive, joining the Los Angeles Clippers in 1986 as vice president of basketball operations, according to the league.
In 2006, he was selected as the league's executive of the year. He left the team two years later and later unsuccessfully sued the team for age discrimination.
Before his NBA greatness, Baylor was a star college player who led Seattle University to the 1958 NCAA Championship Game. He was selected at the most outstanding player of the Final Four.
NBA legend and college basketball analyst Charles Barkley said Baylor was a kind person whom he spent a lot of time with over the years.
"To me, he's probably the most underrated great basketball player of all time," Barkley said. "It was an honor and privilege to be around him. But he always carried himself with great dignity and respect."

Republican lawmaker won by a mere six votes. Now the questions are emerging on how the fuck did she managed to pull an upset in a race that leaned towards the Democratic.
Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-IA) is a freshman lawmaker from Ottumwa, Iowa. She is a trained physician and one of the few Republicans in Congress willing to wear a damn mask.
The lawmaker represents the 2nd Congressional District which includes her community, Davenport, Bettendorf, Burlington and Iowa City.
She was a perennial candidate but somehow managed to win against her opponent Rita Hart.
Rita Hart is disputing the white nationalist Mariannette Miller-Meeks' razor close win.
The House Administration Committee is reviewing a challenge brought by Hart against Mariannette Miller-Meeks.
Attorneys for the two candidates submitted initial legal briefs to the panel on Monday. In a terse 23-page brief, Miller-Meek's counsel broadly denied Hart's claims and said the burden was on Hart to prove that a state-certified election should be overturned.
"We don't have to prove anything at this point, and that's something I think is important to emphasize: The congresswoman has a certificate of election and that demonstrates that she is the winner of the race under Iowa law," Alan Ostergren, an attorney representing Miller-Meeks in the complaint, told reporters on Monday.
Hart's team alleges that there are 22 ballots that should have been counted in the election, and if they had, she would have won by nine votes. Hart's campaign has cited examples including five absentee ballots cast in her favor that were not counted because they were not properly sealed. However, the race was certified by the Iowa State Board of Canvassers — with bipartisan support — after a full recount.
In a more detailed 71-page brief, Hart's attorney Marc Elias argues that ballots should not have been throw out if the error was the result of election administrators or "circumstances outside the voter's control."
"Contestant Hart initiated this contested election case to vindicate the promise of our democratic system: that the representatives who serve us have been selected by the votes of their constituents, not the errors and caprices of election administrators," the brief states.
This controversy has riled up the House Republicans. They believe that the Democrats are trying to "steal" an election. The same bellows of Washed Up 45.

A white extremist allegedly opened fire on the grocery store on Monday afternoon and the law has few details to why this terrorist attacked innocent shoppers.

There was a video livestreamed by a bystander showed a man wearing only shorts being removed from the store in handcuffs. One of his legs was covered in blood. It's not clear if the man was the shooter or whether he was arrested.

Two roommates who live near the King Soopers said they were in a self-checkout line when they saw the terrorist enter the store with a long gun.

Boulder Police Department officials tweeted a warning at 2:49pm Monday for people to avoid the area because of an active shooter. A public information officer was on their way to the scene. Further information was not immediately provided.
