The coronavirus claims a member of the U.S Congress. Another member of the House passed away after contracting the deadly disease. Rep. Ron Wright (R-TX) passed away on Sunday at the age of 67. The Dallas-area lawmaker contracted the coronavirus in late January,

He leaves behind his wife, two children and grandchildren.

President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas and the Texas Republican chairman Allen West were notified oif the passing.

Abbott releases a statement on the passing of Wright.

“I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of U.S. Rep. Ron Wright. Ron was a principled leader who fought to preserve Texas values and was an exemplary representative of his district. His personal strength and commitment to standing up for the unborn were unwavering. He leaves behind a tremendous legacy for future generations of Texans. Cecilia and I send our prayers to Ron's wife, Susan, his family and loved ones.”

Wright is the latest Republican to pass away from the coronavirus. Luke Letlow, the Louisiana congressman-elect died a few days before he was to be sworn in to Congress.

"Congressman Ron Wright passed away peacefully at the age of 67 on Feb. 7, 2021. His wife Susan was by his side and he is now in the presence of their Lord and Savior," the statement read. "For the previous two weeks, Ron and Susan had been admitted to Baylor Hospital in Dallas after contracting COVID-19."

Wright's congressional office announced that he had tested positive for Covid-19 on January 21 with the congressman saying at the time in a statement, "I am experiencing minor symptoms, but overall, I feel okay and will continue working for the people of the 6th District from home this week."

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said in a statement Monday, "Our hearts are heavy with the news of Ron's passing. Judy and I send our heartfelt prayers to Susan and their children during this very difficult time."

"Ron Wright was a fighter who passionately served his constituents, Texas, and America," McCarthy said.

The statement from Wright's office on Monday noted that the congressman has also battled cancer.

"Over the past few years, Congressman Wright had kept a rigorous work schedule on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives and at home in Texas' Congressional District 6 while being treated for cancer," it said.

During his cancer fight, GOP members paid tribute to Wright in December by donning bow ties at the Capitol, which he frequently wore.

Wright had represented Texas's sixth congressional district since January 2019.

Wright represented the 6th Congressional District. The district is Arlington to the southern tiers of the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex. The lawmaker replaced Joe Barton in 2019.

Ronald Jack Wright only served one term and was only six weeks into his second term.

According to the CDC, there is still not enough information on antibodies for COVID-19 and whether they can prevent someone from getting reinfected. It still recommends that people with a positive antibody test follow recommendations for protecting themselves and others.

The coronavirus doesn't care about your age, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, politics, economic or social standings. It doesn't care about your business, your performances, your personal finances and travel.  It doesn't care about anything. It's a living organism that causes mild symptoms that include: fever, sore throats, chills, respiratory issues, loss of taste or smell and other unknown symptoms. If you have a weak immune system or health issues, your risk increases.

Death does happen to at least 40% of those who are affected by COVID-19.

Healthy people can die from this. Take this seriously. You only have one life!

The far-right is slowly losing a place on social media. I am hoping they will eventually get rid of Candace Owens, Terrence K. Williams, Kevin Jackson, Colin Flaherty, Andy Ngo, Kaitlin Bennett, Tomi Lahren, Ann Coulter, Diamond & SIlk, Tara Reade, Anthony Zenkus, Katie Halper, Ryan Knight and Shaun King.

Twitter is now putting an end to misinformation, hate and incitement of violence.

It appears that Jim Hoft is no longer on Twitter. The founder of hoax website The Gateway Pundit along with far-right agitator Wayne Allyn Root are permanently banned on Twitter.

Hoft and Root both violated the platform's "civic integrity policy."

Hoft joins a list of other right-wing accounts that have recently been banned for promoting falsehoods about the 2020 presidential election. The list notably includes Former President Donald Trump and MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, among others.

Twitter's civic integrity policy states: "You may not use Twitter's services for the purpose of manipulating or interfering in elections or other civic processes." Gateway Pundit has been promoting falsehoods about the 2020 presidential election, both on Twitter and directly on its website, alleging voter fraud and voter irregularities. On Biden's Inauguration Day, the website's top headline falsely claimed the election had been "stolen" from Trump.

Hoft shared a post about his ban on the Gateway Pundit website Saturday evening. He pointed to an "ongoing investigation of the Detroit TCF Center," continuing to push a false narrative of "late-night deliveries of tens of thousands of votes."

"We have much more on this incident to report on in the coming days," Hoft said. He shared a screenshot from his Twitter account before it got banned. The tweet reads, "Just an FYI - The fake news media and others challenged our TCF Center video report from Friday. That was a bad move. We have much more coming!"

Meanwhile, President Joe Biden was inaugurated on January 20. There is no evidence that the 2020 election was stolen from Trump, and the Trump administration and election officials have called the 2020 presidential election the "most secure" election in US history. President Joe Biden won the popular vote by more than 7 million votes and he won the Electoral College 306 to 232.

Gateway Pundit has been sharing false information since its inception. Notably, in 2018, the far-right website posted a document that highlighted false allegations of sexual assault against Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

White nationalist Wayne Allyn Root was also permanently banned.

But just a few hours after the document was posted on the website, journalists and self-proclaimed internet sleuths tied the document to Surefire Intelligence, a firm tied to far-right internet personality Jacob Wohl. Hoft removed the document from the website and published an editor's note in its place.

Gateway Pundit was also one of many defendants in the Dominion defamation lawsuit. The list also included the Trump campaign, Rudy Giuliani, Trump adviser Sidney Powell, conservative media outlet One America News Network, the right-wing website Gateway Pundit, and Colorado businessman and activist Joseph Oltmann, among others.

Of his ban Root told Fox News: "I am in shock. It appears to be a permanent ban. Although I don't know. Twitter never warned me...and never sent any communication saying I've been suspended or banned."

"I simply tried to tweet yesterday afternoon and could not. But unlike a previous suspension...my followers suddenly said zero." 

He said he face a temporary ban after saying COVID-19 lockdowns "don't work". Root added: 'That got me a 7 day suspension for 'misleading medical advice'.

"We made Jack Dorsey one of the richest men on earth. He got an army of worker bees to spend thousands of hours for free making him rich. And what’s my reward?"

"No more free speech. In America. My opinions are banned. My opinions are forbidden."

Root was a former Libertarian vice presidential candidate. He is a perennial loser with a record of white nationalist bullshit.

So it appears that rapper Lil Uzi Vert decided to get a 10-carat diamond implanted into his forehead. The diamond is allegedly worth $24 million.

The entertainer shared a video on his social media showing off his massive pink diamond that was pierced into his forehead. He also gave fans a few Instagram stories about his success.

At first the entertainer was happy about the implant in his forehead. But now he realizes it may have been a huge mistake.

Known as Symere Woods, the 26-year old entertainer said that he was bleeding from his forehead shortly after the implant was installed in his head.

Christopher Plummer, who starred in The Sound of Music, won an Oscar for Beginners and was nominated for All the Money in the World and The Last Station, died peacefully today at his home in Connecticut, his family confirmed. Elaine Taylor, his wife and true best friend for 53 years, was by his side. The legendary actor was born Toronto in 1926 but grew up in Montreal and lived between the United Kingdom and the United States.

Along with becoming the oldest person to win an Oscar, Plummer also won a pair of Emmys and two Tonys during a nearly 70-year career.

Lou Pitt, his longtime friend and manager of 46 years, said; “Chris was an extraordinary man who deeply loved and respected his profession with great old fashion manners, self-deprecating humor and the music of words. He was a national treasure who deeply relished his Canadian roots. Through his art and humanity, he touched all of our hearts and his legendary life will endure for all generations to come. He will forever be with us.”

Plummer spent the past nearly 70 years as a stalwart of stage and screen, including more than 200 films and TV shows. He is best known for starring as Captain George Von Trapp opposite Julie Andrews’ Maria in Robert Wise’s 1965 classic The Sound of Music. The beloved musical won five Academy Awards including Best Picture, beating David Lean’s Doctor Zhivago, among others. The movie’s soundtrack, which features such classic songs as “My Favorite Things,” “Edelweiss” and the title track, spent two weeks at No, 1 in the U.S. and an astounding 109 weeks — more than two years — in the top 10.

He won his Oscar for the 2010 film Beginners and most recently was Oscar nominated for the Ridley Scott-directed All the Money in the World. In that film, he replaced Kevin Spacey in the role of J. In 1968, sanctioned by Elizabeth II, he was invested as a Companion of the Order of Canada — an honorary knighthood. Midland, Texas woman who was a part of the chaos at the U.S. Capitol was slapped with extra toppings on that federal sandwich. And like most of these domestic terrorists, they want the world know they're not bad people. 

Sure, good people engage in a violent coup d'etat to overthrow a democratically elected government.

The woman owned a flower shop and is huge fan of the disgraceful 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump.

Only a mere month ago, this woman and hundreds of Trump supporters deliberately attacked the U.S. Capitol to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power. This woman at one time didn't think what she was doing was wrong and never had an ounce of remorse for her actions.

Now facing a lengthy bid in federal time out, this woman wants to ask the federal judge to travel to a foreign country for a personal retreat. That's considered a flight risk.

Jenny Cudd, the former mayoral candidate and flower shop owner was a huge Trump supporter.

White privilege at its finest. White federal judge grants extremist the opportunity to leave the United States and never come back. 

At the time though she had only filed a request to get permission for travel. On Friday, Judge Trevor N. McFadden of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia granted her request to attend the “work-related bonding retreat.”

In approving the request, McFadden said Cudd doesn’t have a criminal history and no one had suggested she was a flight risk nor that she could pose a danger to others. McFadden also pointed out that the prosecutors had not objected to Cudd’s request to travel. The judge did order Cudd to “provide her itinerary to her supervising Pretrial Services Officer and follow any other instructions provided by Pretrial Services.”

There is no question that Cudd, a flower shop owner who unsuccessfully ran for mayor of Midland, Texas in 2019, was inside the Capitol at the time of the riot. She streamed a live video of herself inside the Capitol in which she says she “charged the Capitol today with patriots.” In the video she said that “we did break down Nancy Pelosi’s office door” and seemed happy with herself for participating in the insurrection. “Hell, yes, I am proud of my actions,” she said in the video.

Cudd also talked about her involvement with local media outlets. “I personally didn’t break anything,” Cudd told the Odessa American shortly after the riot. “I didn’t break down any doors. I didn’t do anything violent. No one that I saw had any weapons of any sort.” In a television interview, Cudd didn’t express regret, saying she’d “do it again in a heartbeat.” In the interview with the Odessa American, Cudd said she wasn’t worried about consequences to her actions “because I know I didn’t break the law.” Prosecutors apparently disagree with Cudd. At first she was charged with two misdemeanors but they later brought additional charges. A grand jury has indicted Cudd on five counts.

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The race to replace Marcia Fudge is on. Once the Senate confirms her, Fudge will resign from the U.S. House of Representatives to become the Housing and Urban Development Secretary. Her district is the Democratic leaning Ohio's 11th Congressional District. The governor, Mike DeWine will then hold a special election to have a person fulfill the remaining term.

So far, there are three candidates in the race to replace her.

One candidate running is Shontel Brown. She is not getting much name recognition in the race but the mission is to carry her across the finish line. My mission will be helping Brown defeat her primary challenger, former Ohio state senator and former Bernie Sanders Presidential Campaign chair Nina Turner.

Brown is currently the Cuyahoga County Council member from the 9th Ward. She along with three other local leaders filed the paperwork to run for the House seat.

Brown seems like a perfect pick for the district. She is supportive of Fudge and backed Kamala Harris before eventually backing Joe Biden for president. Brown praised Vice President Harris for being an achievement for Black women.

Brown has promised to focus on the pandemic, helping children get back to school and improving relations between the police and residence.

Turner on the other hand is more concerned about Medicare for All, $15 minimum wage and controversial leftists support.

The money wagon is clearly in the favor of Turner. So far Turner has gotten donations from washed up actress Susan Sarandon, the Justice Democrats and leftists. She is hoping constituents forget her previous comments and her support for Green Party candidate, Jill Stein.

Numbers were available for former State Representative John Barnes. His finance report is still being processed, the site said. Former Cleveland Councilman Jeff Johnson raised $5,700. Cuyahoga County Councilwoman and Democratic Party Chair Shontel Brown raised just over $40,000 while former State Senator Nina Turner got off to a strong start with $646,744. Her campaign added that January was also good.

Nina Turner hopes we forgotten about her half a bowl of shit remarks.

"We have raised over a million dollars so far,” said Turner’s Campaign Manager Liz Shirey. “And that is from tens of thousands of small dollar donations from across the country, nearly 2,000 donors right here in Ohio."

Because of Turner's role as co-chair of Bernie Sanders presidential campaign, which raised the bulk of its money in 2016 and 2020 through small dollar donations, it was expected that she would see the same from across the country, but she believes it won't be just a question of national dollars coming into this local campaign.

Turner is perhaps best known for her critical remarks about President Joe Biden. 

She said that voting for Biden is like eating half a bowl of shit. 

Brown basically said that Turner's name recognition could be her downfall and all the money in the campaign won't matter once the voters select a winner.

"We may not be able to match her dollar for dollar but what I can say is that we have the people with us,” Brown said. “I have a list of endorsements that grows everyday of people that live here in the district that can actually make a difference in this race."

The Democratic Primaries of 2020 was a blowout. Biden beat the independent Vermont senator in Cuyahoga, Montgomery, Hamilton, Lucas, Franklin and Summit County. The areas are home to Cleveland, Dayton, Cincinnati, Toledo, Columbus and Akron. Those cities strongly supported Biden over Sanders.

Sanders only won 9 states and didn't stand a chance in Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota despite winning them in 2016's primary.

Turner is a figure who is popular with the far-left. Her extremists views would be an impact on the Democratic Party's chances on regaining the House and the Senate.

If you live in the 11th Congressional District, my suggestion is for you to vote for Shontel Brown.

Tru Kids, Inc. has decided to close its rebooted Toys R Us stores in the United States.

Tru Kids Inc., which bought the retailer in a 2018 liquidation sale, confirmed that its two locations in New Jersey and Texas that opened in late 2019 have permanently closed because of the pandemic.

"As a result of Covid-19, we made the strategic decision to pivot our store strategy to new locations and platforms that have better traffic," a Tru Kids spokesperson told CNN Business. They added that demand for the brand "remains strong" and the company will continue to invest in it.

Toys "R" Us' website remains operational and more than 700 stores outside of the United States are still open.

The two stores had a smaller footprint compared to its predecessor that dotted US suburbs. They sold fewer toys and instead focused on interactive and playground-like environments for brands. Ultimately, the plan was to open around 10 of them in malls.

Like other retailers, Toys "R" Us was hurt by the mall closures last year and shifting consumer habits that prompted people to shop online or at big-box stores.

Again, big box retailers and restaurants were hit by the pandemic. With more people opting to stay at home and go out for bargain dinners like McDonald's, companies across the spectrum are dying off.

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are determined to push forth more vaccines and the coronavirus relief package for families struggling through the pandemic.

Breaking tonight, Fox Business cancelled Lou Dobbs Tonight and has fired its host Lou Dobbs out the cannon.

This will probably be the biggest shock in the junk food media for 2021.

Only a mere four years ago, Bill O'Reilly, the highest paid far-right agitator on sister network Fox News was fired out the cannon for sexual harassment and domestic violence.

Dobbs, Maria Bartiromo, Jeanine Pirro, Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell are facing a billion dollar lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic Systems. These individuals made baseless claims about the companies being involving in stealing the election and it led to death threats and damage to their reputations.

Dobbs who joined Fox Business in 2010 shortly after he was fired from CNN. 

During his time on CNN and later Fox News (and Fox Business), Dobbs promoted xenophobia, Islamophobia, conspiracies about former president Barack Obama's birth certificate and shameless promotion of former president Donald J. Trump.

Dobbs was a white nationalist who masqueraded as a business journalist. He often would try to incorporate business with his hatred of immigrants, Black Lives Matter and antifa.

Before his cannon firing, he hosted that gay fascist Andy Ngo to promote his book.

The move came swifty. 

Variety said that Fox Corp. which operates Fox News and Fox Business Network cancelled Lou Dobbs Tonight without warning. Dobbs would have three programs spots, 5pm, 7pm and 9pm. 

"As we said in October, Fox News Media regularly considers programming changes and plans been in place to launch new formats as appropriate post-election, including on Fox Business -- this is part of those planned changes," the network said. "Starting Monday, an interim program, Fox Business Tonight, will fill Dobbs' 5pm slot, anchored Monday and Tuesday by Jackie DeAngelis and on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday by David Asman.

Fox News had demoted Martha McCallum to the daytime schedule with Bill Hemmer.

She had her show cancelled and its now running another opinion based show to compete with The Reid Out on MSNBC and Erin Burnett on CNN. The opinion show has no permanent host but its likely that it will fill Jesse Watters to the spot.

Dobbs been with Fox News for over a decade. He operated on Fox Business and was a delight to the former president Trump.

Trump often would have personal conversations with Dobbs, Tucker Carlson, Sean "Screwball" Hannity and Bill O'Reilly.

Dobbs, a veteran financial news anchor, became known at Fox Business for his sycophantic pro-Trump programs. He was one of the former president's biggest boosters on television, and Trump regularly thanked him in return.

The pro-Trump propaganda bent helped make the daily airing of "Lou Dobbs Tonight" at 5 p.m. ET (it also re-aired at 7 p.m.) the network's most-watched program -- so a sudden cancellation would ordinarily make no sense at all.

But Fox is under enormous legal pressure from a pair of voting technology companies, Smartmatic and Dominion, because Dobbs and other hosts made false claims about the companies while perpetuating Trump's lies about election fraud.

Smartmatic filed a $2.7 billion lawsuit against Fox on Thursday. The lawsuit also named Dobbs and two other Fox hosts as defendants.

Legal experts have said the case against the conservative cable channel is strong. CNN legal analyst Ellie Honig described it as a "legitimate threat" to Fox and added, "There is real teeth to this."

The lawsuit accused Dobbs of having been "one of the primary proponents" of a "disinformation campaign" against Smartmatic.

Smartmatic's lawsuit identified multiple instances in which Dobbs' program promoted conspiracy theories about the 2020 election results and said that his behavior was "contrary to his public persona" of being a "provider of factual information" to his viewers.

Trump sycophant Lou Dobbs is out of job.

Not only did Dobbs allow guests to defame Smartmatic, the lawsuit said, but he "took the initiative and contributed additional falsehoods to the narrative."

A Fox spokesperson said in a statement on behalf of the network and its hosts Thursday that it was "proud" of its 2020 election coverage and said it would "vigorously defend this meritless lawsuit in court."

Don't think it's the complete end of Lou Dobbs. I am guessing he'll turn up on Newsmax.

Newsmax is trying to chip away the Fox News audience. It's been slowly becoming the pro-Trump propaganda its been devoting itself to.

The far-right should be held accountable for the insurrection. Fox News is directly responsible for the worst incidents in American history. We will not forget the attack on the U.S. Capitol on 1/6/2021.

Since when does Fox News cared about President Joe Biden taking Air Force One to Delaware?

The freaking President of the United States will not be driving himself to Wilmington, Delaware.

He will not be taking a commercial airline to the state. He is vaccinated and will follow CDC guidelines when he arrives in the state. Besides, he won't be golfing or watching cable news all day.

Matter of fact, Fox News will probably complain about the fact he goes to Sunday mass.

It looks like Fox News is facing a handful of lawsuits after the network pushed misinformation about the election.

Two voting companies are not only suing Fox News but its host Lou Dobbs, Jeanine Pirro, Maria Bartiromo and former president Donald J. Trump's lawyers Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell.

Smartmatic and Dominion Voting Systems have filed lawsuits in U.S. federal court.

The voting technology company Smartmatic was thrown into the baseless conspiracies thrown by Fox News (Fox Business) and Trump's allies in his failed legal fight to overturn the U.S. presidential election.

Better cough up some money, honey. Maria Bartiromo faces a hefty lawsuit.

The lawsuit is calling for $2.7 billion in damages. They are urging the federal court to subpoena Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and the far-right platforms Gab and Parler to retain their data in which Smartmatic could use against these agitators.

"We have no choice," said Antonio Mugica, the chief executive and founder of Smartmatic. "The disinformation campaign that was launched against us is an obliterating one. For us, this is existential, and have to take action." 

The lawsuit goes at Fox Corp, the company that owns Fox News as well as its primetime hosts for intentionally lying about the company in an effort to mislead the public into the false belief that the 2020 election was stolen from Trump.

"[Fox News and Fox Business] needed a villain," the lawsuit said. "They needed someone to blame. They needed someone whom they could get others to hate. A story of good versus evil, the type that would incite an angry mob, only works if the storyteller provides the audience with someone who personifies evil."

"Without any true villain, defendants invented one," the lawsuit added. "Defendants decided to make Smartmatic the villain in their story."

Fox reacted to the lawsuit with two things. 

Lou Dobbs takes the biggest hit.

An upright denial of the lawsuit and hopes they can prove that meritless claims are going to be dismissed.

"Fox News Media is committed to providing the full context of every story with in-depth reporting and clear opinion. We are proud of our 2020 election coverage and will vigorously defend this meritless lawsuit in court."

Powell on her part said that she was unaware of the lawsuit.

Smartmatic has filed a $2 billion lawsuit against Fox News and Trump's former attorneys.

"I have not received notice or a copy of this alleged lawsuit. However, your characterization of the claims show that this is just another political maneuver motivated by the radical left that has no basis in fact or law."

Giuliani, who is under federal watch for his ties to Ukraine and the Borat movie scene in which he attempted to undress in front of a decoy (played by Maria Bakalova) who portrayed herself as a 15-year old. He is upright denying the lawsuit and blames the left as with Powell.

"The Smartmatic lawsuit presents another golden opportunity for discovery. I look forward to litigating with them."

Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell are under fire for their baseless lies.

Fox News has seen its ratings drop for the month of January. Trump was fumed about Fox News making the accurate decision to call Arizona. The former president had called for his supporters to watch Newsmax and OANN.

What gets me is the fact that Fox News continues to pander in conspiracies which led to the insurrection.

It's time to hold this network accountable. Fox News is responsible for the insurrection. They need to be held accountable for their actions which led to one of the worst incidents in American history.
