Anger in Washington. Democrats and Trump are feuding. The month long government shutdown is not ending.
Rep. Nancy Pelosi's (D-CA) secret trip to Afghanistan was postponed. The Speaker of the House and Donald J. Trump are feuding. Pelosi is now set to no longer negotiate any deal with Trump.
Trump on Thursday abruptly denied military aircraft to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for a foreign trip just minutes before the congressional delegation was set to depart, in a stunning decision that followed her call to delay the State of the Union address amid the government shutdown.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders tweeted the statement from the White House today.
Pelosi and congressional Democrats have urged Republicans to open the government. The Republicans and Trump refuse to sign any continuing resolution
Trump canceled her trip in spite. Matter of fact, he told her to fly commercial to Afghanistan, a country that continues to be ground zero for the longest war in American history.
A place where the Islamic State, al Qaeda and the Taliban vow revenge on American and western influence.
Pelosi and the Democrats slam Trump for being childish.
According to sources, the president pulled the plug on Pelosi's aircraft as she was about to leave for her overseas trip. Her congressional delegation's military aircraft was slated to depart at 3 p.m. ET.
After watching Fox News and talking to Sean "Softball" Hannity, Trump decided to play dirty bull.
Melania Trump was on a military flight to Florida at Mar-a-Largo. This flight happened hours after Trump canceled Pelosi.
The Women's March continues despite controversy. Tamika Mallory faces heat for praising Louis Farrakhan.
Women of color dominate the Democratic Party. The current freshman lawmakers who became the de jour of the right are being slammed for being honest.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Rep. Lauren Underwood (D-IL) and every other woman of color who became a lawmaker: Keep doing your thing!
Ignore the Republican Party. They are distracting Americans from their failures to open up the government.
On Saturday, the Women's March is happening.
One of the founding members is finding herself embroiled in a controversy. She took a picture with Louis Farrakhan, the Nation of Islam leader who often says things many believe are anti-Semitic.
Writer Tamika Mallory is being slammed by the right for taking a picture with Farrakhan.
And she called him the GOAT.
Mind you that she is a Black woman. Tamika Danielle Mallory is an American activist who currently serves as co-president of the 2019 Women's March. She was one of the leading organizers of the 2017 Women's March, for which she and her three other co-chairs were recognized in the Time 100 that year.
Mallory is also an advocate of gun control, feminism, and the Black Lives Matter movement. In 2018, Mallory drew criticism for her attendance at an event with controversial Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, which prompted calls for her resignation from the 2019 Women's March.
Mallory is currently one of the co-presidents of the anticipated 2019 Women's March. She has assumed leadership of the march along with her co-chairs from the 2017 March: Linda Sarsour, Carmen Perez, and Bob Bland.
Mallory has been criticized for her relationship with Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan and support for Assata Shakur, a former Black Liberation Army member convicted of murder.
On February 25, 2018, Mallory attended a Saviours' Day speech led by Farrakhan where he made various anti-Semitic remarks, and later posted positive comments about the event on social media accounts.
On Twitter she called Farrakhan the "greatest of all time".
This led some supporters of the march calling for Mallory and other Women's March leaders to resign. Teresa Shook, who co-founded the March, wrote that the "community has totally lost faith in the Women’s March because they have lost faith in" Mallory and other leaders. In December 2018, The New York Times reported that "charges of anti-Semitism are now roiling the movement and overshadowing plans for more marches next month."
Mallory responded by releasing a statement that condemned racism, anti-Semitism and homophobia, also writing "I do not wish to be held responsible for the words of others when my own history shows that I stand in opposition to them." She added that she believed building coalitions required working with people with whom she disagreed.
The right are offended by a picture.
An early Women's March co-founder, Vanessa Wruble, said that she had been "pushed out" of the Women's March by Mallory and others because of her Jewish identity, and that during her time as a central organizer of the movement, she had been told that Jews played a "large role in the slave trade and the prison industry", views espoused by Louis Farrakhan in his 1991 book "The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and the Jews", referred to by Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. as the “bible of the new anti-Semitism.”
Another organizer, Evvie Harmon, said that she witnessed Mallory and her co-chair Carmen Perez berating Wruble, saying "your people hold all the wealth," remarks that Harmon described in an account to both The New York Times and Tablet.
Mallory denied Wruble and Harmon's allegations but said in a statement to the Times, “Since that conversation, we’ve all learned a lot about how while white Jews, as white people, uphold white supremacy, ALL Jews are targeted by it."
On The View Mallory stated that she didn't agree with all of Farrakhan's statements and wouldn't use his language, but declined to condemn his previous anti-- semitic statements.
Again, I believe everyone has the right to exist & to be free. That means EVERYONE. & ppl who were living comfortably there should be included - EVERYONE! I want to see the ppl of Palestine treated w/ dignity & respect. U can twist it any way u choose but it’s called equality!

Check out my interview on the @breakfastclubam. I’ve grown a lot and won’t allow Meghan McCain or anyone else to FORCE me to match ignorance with ignorance. pic.twitter.com/4EP1PTFuEO
This is a campaign by the junk food media to distract Americans from the Republican Party's failure to open up the government. They are just mad that Black women are speaking against injustice.
Tamika doesn't speak for Louis Farrakhan.
Louis Farrakhan speaks for himself. He never called for the death of innocent beings. He has criticized the Israeli government and Zionist leaders who wage an information campaign against opposition. He has criticize homosexuality but called it "other issues." There's nothing I've heard wrong from Farrakhan.
Black leaders don't often agree with spiritual leaders.
Republicans often find savior in Franklin Graham and Jerry Falwell, Jr. They found savior in Pat Robertson and other white religious leaders who said far worse than Farrakhan.
So I don't want to hear it. I don't want to hear any pearl-clutching white folks crying that Tamika has to stand down. Y'all need to chill on that faux outrage. You better worry about getting your tax refunds.
We're coming close to the end of January and Donald J. Trump ain't doing shit about opening up the government. He wants you the taxpayer (not Mexico) to pay for a worthless wall.
The government shutdown is way more important that click bait.
Fuck Meghan McCain. Ever since she got married to that right wing lunatic, her once charming demeanor became the "bitch no one likes." I am sick of her and those who act like her.
If you want to be Rush Limbaugh and Sean "Softball" Hannity. Fine. Go forth.
But best believe, boycott work both ways. If you want to boycott Tamika Mallory, that's you.
But don't get mad when we call for a boycott of Meghan McCain, Laura Loomer and Fox News.
The troll who was banned from social media is appearing with two Republicans. The right has been outraged over comments by the freshman Democrats. They rather have you angry over Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Lauren Underwood and Ayanna Pressley instead of worrying about the government shutdown.
Most Americans fault Donald J. Trump and the Republicans for the gridlock in Washington, DC.
Rep. Andy Harris (R-MD) and Rep. Phil Roe (R-TN) were caught on camera with the infamous alt-white agitator Charles C. Johnson (Chuck Johnson).
Johnson (not to be confused with Little Green Footballs progressive blogger Charles Johnson) is an internet provocateur, yellow journalist and kookspiracy nut. He has often won praise from the likes of alt-white celebrities Richard Spencer, Milo Yiannopolos, Tomi Lahren, Laura Loomer and Alex Jones.
Johnson was best known for his website that I will not mention. He was trying to expose Black Lives Matter. He made the claim that Shaun King, prominent Black Lives Matter activist and agitator was not authentically Black.
He got banned indefinitely from Twitter and Facebook after threatening DeRay McKesson online.
Johnson has been described as an internet troll, and has been involved in the proliferation and spread of multiple fake news stories.
The fool got his business shutdown after he made allegations that the white terrorist who killed Heather Heyer in Charlottesville wasn't the one. He pinned the blame on two individuals who had nothing to do with it.
The Southern Poverty Law Center which follows this troll said that he tried to blame Joel and Jerome Vangheluwe for the death. The two men got death threats and harassment.
The fool was forced to shelf out a lengthy sum to those slandered.
Now as for Roe and Harris, no comment to why they have a well-documented Holocaust denier and white extremist associated with them.
Roe released a statement trying to act like he didn't know this guy.
"At the request of another member, Congressman Roe agreed to meet with an individual to discuss DNA sequencing. During the meeting this individual shared what seemed like legitimate information about the work his company is doing and advocated for increasing the number of sequenced genomes for research. Congressman Roe was not aware of this individual's viewpoints nor were they discussed during their brief meeting, and had the congressman been aware he would not have agreed to take the meeting. White supremacist and anti-Semitic views are abhorrent and have no place in our society."
Harris also released a statement.
"I am unaware of his previous associations, but we had a discussion involving his business with genetic sequencing,” the statement read. “Of course I disavow and condemn white supremacy and anti-semitism."
See two can play this game.
You go after Rashida Tliab and Ilhan Omar, expect us to go after you. We are no longer going to allow the right to distract us from the real threat in this country.
Far right extremism is growing and Donald J. Trump and allies are making it possible. We have to hold Congress accountable for the laws they pass. I don't really care what they say.
We know the Republican Party is the party of the White nationalist. That's a fact. We just have to keep pressure on them by boycotting them, exposing them, and voting their asses out in the general election.
Metro Louisville Airport is renamed in honor of Muhammad Ali.
You fly with the greatest.
Louisville International Airport will be renamed after the legendary boxer Muhammad Ali.
City officials announced Wednesday that Louisville International Airport will be renamed after the boxer and humanitarian often called "the Greatest."
The Louisville Regional Airport Authority has voted in favor of changing the name of the airport to Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport. The move was praised by his widow, Lonnie Ali.
Muhammad Ali was the boss. He never shy away from his views of America.
Louisville/Jefferson County board member and current mayor Greg Fischer went to social media to praise Ali.
Muhammad Ali belonged to the world, but he only had one hometown. Today’s decision to change @flylouisville’s name to Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport is a major piece of a broader effort to celebrate those deep ties. pic.twitter.com/mxXyX4pILl
Louisville should champion Muhammad Ali’s legacy, and renaming Louisville International Airport in his honor is a wonderful first step. I’m speaking now to the @flylouisville Board to support this change. https://t.co/xsyltkVKJL
Louisville, Kentucky a city with 704,000 residents is a consolidate-county community. It is a home-rule community and it has at least 50 hamlets are incorporated but recognized as Louisville.
It's a step in the right direction.
Now if we can get those TSA employees working at Louisville/Muhammad Ali paid, it would be very good. Unfortunately, we're entering the 28th day of the government shutdown.
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) who is getting hernia surgery in Toronto, Canada and Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) refuse to open the government. McConnell is the Majority Leader and he is refusing to push through House bills to open up the government.
Donald J. Trump won't sign off any legislation without border wall funding. He is putting 1 million American government workers at risk of economic collapse.
I wish Muhammad Ali was alive today. He would have torn into Trump and Republicans.
Muhammad Ali passed away in 2016. This week would have been his 77th birthday.
Kirsten Gillibrand is in the race. She will take on the imbecile Trump.
It's official. The New York senator has decided to join a growing list of Democrats who are determined to defeat that imbecile. That imbecile has a 65% chance of winning reelection. We're in a partial government shutdown, This is one of the longest government shutdowns in American history.
Many fault that imbecile and Republicans for hurting the American people. However, there's that base willing to distract and distort the record of candidates running.
The Democrats are still bickering over the 2016 election. It might be inspired by far-left agitators and Russian propaganda. Who knows?
But history is showing that women are moving forward.
Do you believe Kirsten Gillibrand is ready to be President of the United States?
Hillary Clinton's defeat has opened the door. Many women believe the American people elected Trump was a huge mistake.
With that being said, there's three women running for President Of United States.
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) announcing she is forming a presidential exploratory committee. She is officially running for president.
The 52-year old senator is feminist and strong supporter of the Time's Up/Me Too Movement.
Gillibrand is an outspoken on issues like sexual harassment in the military and sexual harassment in general. She is a supporter of Medicare for All, the abolishing of ICE and moving away from the conservative views on immigration and guns.
Born Kirsten Elizabeth Rutnik, the lawmaker grow up in Albany. She is the daughter of attorneys. She would be known as "Tina" by her closest friends. She is a lawyer, writer, wife and mother.
Gillibrand met her husband, Jonathan Gillibrand, a venture capitalist and British national, on a blind date. Jonathan planned to be in the United States for only a year while studying for his Master of Business Administration at Columbia University, but he stayed in the country because of his relationship with her. The two were married in a Catholic church in Manhattan in 2001.
The Gillibrands had their first child, Theodore, in 2003, and their second son, Henry, in 2008. She continued to work until the day of Henry's delivery, for which she received a standing ovation from her colleagues in the House the next day.
Gillibrand entered the growing field of 2020 Democratic presidential contenders Tuesday, telling television host Stephen Colbert that she’s launching an exploratory committee.
“It’s an important first step, and it’s one I am taking because I am going to run,” the New York senator said on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” She listed a series of issues she’d tackle as president, including better health care for families, stronger public schools and more accessible job training.
She joins what is expected to be a crowded primary field for the Democratic nomination that could feature more than a dozen candidates. Already, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has announced her own exploratory efforts, and decisions by a number of other senators are expected in the coming weeks.
Gillibrand, who was appointed to the Senate in 2009 to fill the seat vacated by Hillary Clinton, has been among the Senate’s most vocal members on issues like sexual harassment, military sexual assault, equal pay for women and family leave, issues that could be central to her presidential campaign.
“I’m going to fight for other people’s kids as hard as I would fight for my own,” said Gillibrand, a mother of two sons, ages 10 and 15.
As she works to distinguish herself from likely rivals, Gillibrand will be able to draw from the more than $10.5 million left over from her 2018 re-election campaign that she can use toward a presidential run.
Gillibrand pledged during her Senate campaign that she would serve out her six-year term if re-elected.
She will use Troy, New York, where she lives, as a home base for her presidential efforts.
Near the end of their interview, Colbert presented Gillibrand with a basket of campaign gifts, including an ear of yellow corn to wave in Iowa, a piece of granite for New Hampshire and a one-of-a-kind button that reads “I announced on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
Trump welcomes National Football Championship winners fast food.
Once again, the University of Alabama Crimson Tide went to the National Championship and came out short. The top ranked Crimson Tide was destroyed by Clemson University Tigers, the ACC Champions. This was the second time the two met.
Clemson defeated Alabama the last time. Alabama beaten Clemson once.
The 2018-19 College Football Playoff Champions Clemson Tigers went to The White House. The national champions were greeted by Donald J. Trump, McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King and Coca-Cola.
Great being with the National Champion Clemson Tigers last night at the White House. Because of the Shutdown I served them massive amounts of Fast Food (I paid), over 1000 hamburgers etc. Within one hour, it was all gone. Great guys and big eaters!
The bumbling fool had earlier tweeted the word "hamberders" mistakenly. He initially wanted to type in hamburgers but he forgot to auto correct his tweet.
"I think we are going to serve McDonald's, Wendy's and Burger King's with some pizza. I really mean it," Trump had said earlier in the day. "It will be interesting. I would think that's their favorite food. So we'll see what happens."
What a cheapskate!
With White House staffers being on furlough, Trump just called up McDonald's, Wendy's and Burger King to deliver the food.
When Barack Obama was in the White House, college players (i.e. Black athletes) were proud to see their president. With this one, it's not so cool to be standing next to a pervert. Not cool to stand next to the guy who probably hurts these athletes parents. Their parents probably work for the government.
Almost 30 days and running on the government shutdown.
A legendary entertainer Carol Channing passed away.
A legendary entertainer who won the hearts of Broadway has passed away of natural causes.
Tributes from stars like Kristin Chenoweth and Bette Midler poured in to honor the life and career of Carol Channing, the three-time Tony Award-winning musical comedy star who delighted American audiences over 5,000 performances as the scheming Dolly Levi in “Hello, Dolly!” on Broadway and beyond. She died Tuesday at 97.
Publicist B. Harlan Boll said Channing died of natural causes at 12:31 a.m. Tuesday in Rancho Mirage, California. Boll says she had twice suffered strokes in the last year.
Besides “Hello, Dolly!,” Channing starred in other Broadway shows, but none with equal magnetism. She often appeared on television and in nightclubs, for a time partnering with George Burns in Las Vegas and a national tour.
“Channing was one of the few who paved the path for so many women in theater and beyond,” Chenoweth wrote on Twitter. “I will forever admire and look up to you, Carol.” Midler called Channing “a complete original” and “a legend.” Playwright Paul Rudnick called Channing “the delirious soul of musical theater.”
Channing’s outsized personality seemed too much for the screen, and she made only a few movies, notably “The First Traveling Saleslady” with Ginger Rogers and “Thoroughly Modern Millie” with Julie Andrews.
Over the years, Channing continued as Dolly in national tours, the last in 1996, when she was in her 70s. Tom Shales of The Washington Post called her “the ninth wonder of the world.”
Messages of love and appreciation came quickly, with the League of Professional Theatre Women saying Channing “was a gift of inspiration to so many.” Veteran actress Bernadette Peters said Channing “was show business and love personified” and Margaret Cho said “you will forever be missed.” Viola Davis mourned: “You had a great run! Rest well.”
Channing was not the immediate choice to play Dolly, a matchmaker who receives her toughest challenge yet when a rich grump seeks a suitable wife. The show, which features a rousing score by Jerry Herman that’s bursting with joy and tunes like “Put On Your Sunday Clothes,” ″Before the Parade Passes By” and “It Only Takes a Moment,” is a musical version of Thornton Wilder’s play “The Matchmaker.”
Theater producer David Merrick told her: “I don’t want that silly grin with all those teeth that go back to your ears.” Even though director Gower Champion had worked on her first Broadway hit, “Lend an Ear,” he had doubts about Channing’s casting.
She wowed them in an audition and was hired on the spot. At opening night on Jan. 16, 1964, when Channing appeared at the top of the stairs in a red gown with feathers in her hair and walked down the red carpet to the Harmonia Gardens restaurant, the New York audience went crazy. The critics followed suit. “Hello, Dolly!” collected 10 Tony Awards, including one for Channing as best actress in a musical. She would later win a special Tony in 1968 and a Tony for Lifetime Achievement in 1995.
“Carol Channing was one of the great icons of the American theater, and a beloved ambassador for this art form. She possessed a quality so unique and so special that she became her own archetype,” said Heather Hitchens, president and CEO of the American Theatre Wing.
Broadway will pause on Wednesday to honor Channing by dimming all theater marquees for a minute at 7:45 p.m.
Channing was born Jan. 31, 1921, in Seattle, where her father, George Channing, was a newspaper editor. When his only child was 3 months old, he moved to San Francisco and worked as a writer for The Christian Science Monitor and as a lecturer. He later became editor-in-chief of Christian Science publications.
At the age of 7, Channing decided she wanted to become an entertainer. She credited her father with encouraging her: “He told me you can dedicate your life at 7 or 97. And the people who do that are happier people.”
While majoring in drama and dance at Bennington College in Vermont, she was sent off to get experience in her chosen field. She found a job in a New York revue. The show lasted only two weeks, but a New Yorker magazine critic commented, “You will hear more about a satiric chanteuse named Carol Channing.” She said later: “That was it. I said goodbye to trigonometry, zoology and English literature.”
For several years she worked as an understudy, bit player and nightclub impressionist, taking jobs as a model, receptionist and sales clerk during lean times. Landing in Los Angeles, she auditioned for Marge Champion, wife and dance partner of Gower Champion who was putting together a revue, “Lend an Ear.” Marge Champion recalled: “She certainly was awkward and odd-looking, but her warmth and wholesomeness came through.”
Channing was the hit of “Lend an Ear” in a small Hollywood theater, and she captivated audiences and critics when the show moved to New York. As the innocent gold digger in the musical “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes,” her stardom was assured. One reviewer reported she “hurls across the footlights in broad strokes of pantomime and bold, certain, exquisitely comical gestures.” The show’s hit song, “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend,” became her signature number.
Over and over again she returned to the surefire “Hello, Dolly!,” which earned her $5 million on one tour. She considered Dolly Levi “a role as deep as Lady Macbeth,” but added that “the essence of her character was her unquenchable thirst for life.” That description fit Carol Channing, who attributed her sunny optimism to her lifelong faith in Christian Science.
Others who have played the role include Pearl Bailey, Phyllis Diller, Betty Grable, Ethel Merman, Martha Raye, Ginger Rogers and Barbra Streisand, who played Dolly in a 1969 film version directed by Gene Kelly. Bette Midler won a Tony Award in the role in 2017 and a current national tour stars Betty Buckley.
The tour of “Hello, Dolly!” said Tuesday it would honor Channing at its current stop in California. “We are deeply saddened by the passing of the one and only Carol Channing. She was a ‘Dolly’ for the ages, and a true icon of the American theater. Betty Buckley and the cast will dedicate tonight’s performance in San Diego to her memory.”
Channing had two early marriages that ended in divorce — to novelist Theodore Naidish and pro footballer Alexander Carson, father of her only child, Channing. Her son became a successful political cartoonist.
In 1956 she married a television producer, Charles Lowe, who seemed like the perfect mate for a major star. He adopted Channing’s son and supervised every aspect of her business affairs and appearances. He reportedly viewed every one of her performances from out front, leading the applause.
After 41 years of marriage, she sued for divorce in 1998, alleging that he misappropriated her funds and humiliated her in public. She remarked that they only had sex twice in four decades.
“The only thing about control freak victims is that they don’t know who they are,” she told The Washington Post. “It’s taken me 77 years to figure that out. I was miserable. I was unhappy. And I didn’t realize it wasn’t my fault. But I’m going to survive. I’m going to live. I’m free.”
Lowe died after a stroke in 1999. Channing moved to Rancho Mirage near Palm Springs, California, in 2000 to write her memoirs. She called the book “Just Lucky, I Guess.”
Channing remarried in 2003 to Harry Kullijian, her childhood sweetheart from 70 years before. He died in 2011.
In her book, Channing recounted an early story from her childhood that showed a budding audience-pleasing performer. She wrote that she came home from kindergarten and noted that all the little girls hit the little boys.
Mentally ill alt-white agitator Laura Loomer trespasses on U.S. lawmaker's property. The troll wanted to speak out against Nancy Pelosi by entering her property illegally.
An alt-white agitator who was just recently banned from Twitter is now taking her latest antics to the home of the U.S. House Speaker.
Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is the first and second woman to hold the gavel. She was confirmed by the House of Representatives to be the Speaker of the House. The California lawmaker had been very firm about opposing the border wall that Donald J. Trump demands Congress fund.
We're in a government shutdown. Nearly 1 million government workers are effected by the shutdown.
Trump continues to assure the country that he's winning the battle. Many Americans who work for the federal government are not seeing their paycheck and they're pretty steamed that Congress and Trump refuse to solve these problems.
Enter Laura Loomer.
A white woman who is begging for attention. Her antics are often considered a political stunt.
Many progressive activists are trying to cut her microphone. They are working hard to get her removed from YouTube, Facebook, Tinder, Daily Motion and all forms of social media. Loomer is a part of the white extremist movement called the alt-right.
Loomer denies being a racist. She claims that she's a Jewish woman.
She has been very animated at Twitter. She chained herself to the New York headquarters of Twitter.
Loomer hopping the fence at Nancy Pelosi's Napa Valley estate, in an attempt to make the point that the House speaker opposes the Mexico border wall while also owning a wall.
Laura Loomer causes another tabloid grabbing stunt.
Loomer claimed that because the property has no trespassing signs, she was allowed to enter the property.
The only actually disturbing thing about this absurd ordeal is that some of the people Loomer brought with her onto Pelosi's property may have been undocumented immigrants. It's unclear why they were there, what Loomer's goal was in involving them, and what may have happened to them afterwards.
Loomer was warned to stay away from lawmaker's homes. She could have face federal charges for trespassing. If she was Black and tried this stunt, they would prosecute her and threaten years in federal time out. She lucky she wasn't shot and killed by the U.S. Capitol Police.
The privileged white folks who do stunts like this won't ever face criminal charges. They get slaps on the wrist. Damn shame.
Please get rid of this blooper named Laura Loomer.
Rep. Steve King (R-IA) is now dubbed "Corn Hitler."
Stripped of his committee assignments, the Iowa lawmaker who openly called himself a white extremist is being taken to the woodshed by his fellow bigots.
The white extremist Rep. Steve King (R-IA) said remarks in the open. The Republicans rather he said his remarks behind closed doors. It turns out that his remarks about being a white nationalist finally got the attention of Republican leaders.
King, a long term Iowa lawmaker was never shy about his views on multiculturalism and immigration. He was very critical of Black Lives Matter, women's rights, LGBTQ rights and human rights.
He supported police officers killing unarmed people of color. He supported Donald J. Trump's Amerikkklan Border Wall. He supported far white Europeans Gert Wiilders, Nigel Farage, Katie Hopkins and Marie Le Penn.
King was badgering Google CEO Sundar Pichai about his Apple iPhone. He thought Google was treating him, alt-white activist Laura Loomer, kookspiracy nut Alex Jones and doxx troll Chuck Johnson unfairly.
Now all his antics have him losing his precious committee positions. The House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly to strip him of his committee posts and censured him.
Do you believe the Republican Party removing Steve King from his committees a step in the right direction? (Expect the dumbest answers being picked by trolls)
How ironic.
Republicans never had a problem with him.
King responded in his typical fashion.
My Statement on Kevin McCarthy’s Unprecedented Assault on my Freedom of Speech. pic.twitter.com/0R0vP6MoWT
Matter of fact, there are 50 members of the Republican Party that have openly said bigoted things about people of color, Barack and Michelle Obama, shared racist emails and said inappropriate things about immigrants.
Then of course, Donald J. Trump.
Like I've said, the Republican Party has embraced white nationalism. Listening to the loudest voices of talk radio, Fox News and the internet has turned the Party of Lincoln into the Party of Trump.
Stormy Daniels sues the Columbus, Ohio police force.
The Columbus Division Of Police are being sued by entertainer Stormy Daniels.
Last year, the adult entertainer and activist was performing in Columbus, Ohio for a few nights. That night, she was doing her performance in front of hundreds when a woman came up to her and handed her money. Stormy Daniels would do a motorboat in the woman's face and within 10 minutes, the Columbus Police shut the show down.
She and her attorney Michael Avenatti have filed a federal lawsuit against the undercover detectives who were involved in her arrest.
The lawsuit accused the officers of false arrest, malicious prosecution and civil conspiracy and unlawful detainment. She said her civil rights were violated.
According to the lawsuit, Stormy is suing Columbus Division of Police detectives Shana Keckley, Whitney Lancaster, Mary Praither and Steve Rosser.
"By maliciously releasing false statements to public newspapers and broadcasters and on social media platforms strongly implying that Ms. (Stephanie Clifford) was engaged in immoral conduct ... Defendants defamed Ms. Clifford causing injury to her reputation and exposing her to contempt, ridicule, shame and disgrace in the community."
There is an obscure Ohio law that states that adult performers aren't allowed to touch patrons. It's not often enforced. Two women were also arrested. Miranda Panda and Brittany Walters were caught up too.
The city prosecutor Zach Klein dropped the charges on all the women.
Stormy said that Rosser instigated the encounter. He told Keckley to go over and toss a few dollars at her. The officer would embrace the entertainer. Stormy kissed the detective on her cheek and shook her breasts in the face of the detective.
Rosser who was the focus of the lawsuit had a digital dash. Avenatti got word that Rosser supported Donald J. Trump and Blue Lives Matter, a pro-police activist group that might be a part of Russian propaganda.
Columbus Police detectives arrested entertainer Stormy Daniels in an instigated sting operation.
The detectives are supporters of Republicans and Trump.
Rosser and Lancaster were removed from the vice squad. They are on desk duty pending a special hearing regarding whether they'll be demoted or fired out the cannon.
Police commissioner Kim Jacobs and deputy chief Tim Becker said that vice squad will no longer enter adult entertainment establishments without explicit consent from the top. That means if the feds determine illegal activity inside the businesses, the top will allow vice to perform investigations.
That means it will likely stay on the streets and on the internet. Still they will have to have approval from the top before they engage in any vice squad activity.
In 2017, Stormy Daniels accused Donald J. Trump of having an affair with her a decade ago. She said that she met Trump at a charity event. He paid for a night with her. She said that he had sex with her while Melania Trump was pregnant. The story was brought up in 2016 but was swept under the rug. The National Enquirer was notified of this allegation but scrapped the story. That also affect former Playboy model Karen McDougal.
The federal court determined that Michael Cohen, the former attorney for Trump paid her and Karen McDougal a lengthy sum to keep quiet about the affairs. He was convicted of campaign finance fraud, tax evasion, lying to federal investigators and unlawful use of federal funds. He will be sentenced to federal time out. Cohen has cooperated with the federal prosecutor Robert Mueller and will testify to Congress in February. Trump and Sean "Softball" Hannity are former clients of Cohen.
David Pecker, the CEO of American Media Incorporated was also subjected to a federal investigation. He and company executives were covering for Trump by paying off Karen McDougal and Stormy Daniels. The National Enquirer was running negative stories about Hillary Clinton and Ted Cruz throughout the 2016 U.S. Election. Pecker has plead guilty to campaign finance fraud. He was granted witness immunity in exchange for testimony for Trump's acknowledgment of payments to
Daniels has become a vocal activist of women's rights. Her attorney Michael Avenatti became a national celebrity. He was exploring a run for the White House. He withdrew his consideration after allegations of domestic violence against an ex-girlfriend surfaced.
Jayme Closs found safe. Her disappearance became media sensation.
While me and S.B are relieved kidnapping victim Jayme Closs was found safe in Wisconsin, I am going to once again address the "elephant in the room."
The 13 year old escaped her captor and was found safety. The law arrested the suspect.
The suspect allegedly killed Jayme's parents. The junk food media haven't released a motive to why he targeted her and the family but it seems like another pedophile tried to have a relationship with an underage girl.
The parents, James and Denise Closs were killed. For nearly 88 days, this young teen was held in a home that was 88 miles from her home.
The junk food media has met with the family members and interviewed friends and family of the suspect. They have all the elements of a Lifetime Movie.
Kelsey Beerth is presumed dead. Her boyfriend was charged with her death.
Kelsey Beerth, the mother who went missing a few days after the Thanksgiving holiday. The suspect is allegedly her fiance. The father of her child. They arrested the suspect on suspicion of murder and solicitation of murder.
The 29-year old mother was last seen at a grocery store before her disappearance. The suspect was last to see the young mother. Because he arranged a meet up for them.
Colorado authorities haven't found her body and assume she is dead.
Beerth is a pilot and beautiful face that gotten the junk food media's attention.
And of course, the death of Shanann Watts and her two daughters. The suspect is her husband. The Colorado woman, 34 and her daughters three and two along with their unborn child were murdered by this disgraceful husband.
The young woman was returning from a business trip and never showed up home. The husband would tell the junk food media that she would never leave her children and cried on air.
The law didn't buy this. They were watching his movements. They found evidence that pointed to an affair with another woman and earlier an openly gay affair with a man.
Shanann Watts and her children were buried in an oil field. Her rotten ass husband killed them. He was a sex crazed freak and cheated on her with women and men.
The suspect had buried his wife and children in abandoned oil well. He confessed that he murdered the family. He was upset that his wife wasn't pleasing him sexually and wanted to find romance elsewhere.
This family was beautiful. The suspect is serving LIFE with no escape. Since his enrollment in the iron college, the fan mail comes. He got female and male admirers willing to pay for his books.
He was a cheater and sex crazed freak. The junk food media has given a movie director a script for a made-for-tv movie or a based on a true story motion picture.
At first, I didn't want to cover missing white women stories. I got tired of explaining why the junk food media obsesses over missing white girls.
There's other children, women and men missing. A majority of the media coverage for missing children and adults are white women, attractive and well-off.
My patience went really thin when the junk food media covered the missing Iowa woman. Mollie Tibbetts went missing after a jog. Five weeks later, her body was discovered on a farm near the jogging path.
The suspect was an immigrant who was here illegally. The death was a junk food media sensation.
It captured the attention of Republicans and Donald J. Trump. The imbecile was throwing his two cents into the matter. He called upon Congress to build his wall and restrict immigrants entry.
He and the conservative clown car were juggling ideas and draconian bills to hurt migrants, immigrants and people of color.
We're still trying to pass a law based off dead white people.
The man stalked this young girl. Or did the two have a tryst. Details aren't known. But the young teen was found safe. Her parents were killed. This man is being held on murder and kidnapping charges.
Again, missing white woman syndrome is a phenomenon noted by social scientists and media commentators of the extensive media coverage, especially in television, of missing person cases involving young, white, upper-middle-class women or girls. The phenomenon is defined as the Western media's undue focus on upper-middle-class white women who disappear, with the disproportionate degree of coverage they receive being compared to cases of missing men or boys, women of color, and women of lower social classes.
Although the term was coined to describe disproportionate coverage of missing person cases, it is sometimes used to describe similar disparities in news coverage of other violent crimes. Instances have been cited in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and South Africa.
Missing white woman syndrome has led to a number of right-wing tough on crime measures that were named for white women who disappeared and were subsequently found harmed.
Also noteworthy was that news coverage of missing black women was more likely to focus on the victim's problems, such as abusive boyfriends or a troubled past, while coverage of white women tends to focus on their roles as mothers or daughters.
Social media was lit up this weekend. A North Carolina man was seen on video serving a Black girl a serving of knuckle style chili at the Asheville Mall.
Asheville is located in the western corner of the state. The population of the city is 124,000 residents.
There was a fight between a group of teenagers and they were ejected from the property.
We don't know how this event started but I can straight up tell you that words were exchanged between the girl and the white man.
The suspect shoved the girl. When she got near him again, she served a hot plate and it laid her cold.
North Carolina man found out his knuckle style chili isn't good.
An off duty cop arrested the man. He is facing assault on a child, assault on a female under 12, assault on a female, trespassing and battery. Some charges could be are felonies. Some are misdemeanors.
Each charge could put this guy in the iron college for up one to five years. The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Not only that, he will likely lose his job, face a public shaming, get banned from the mall, face a potential lawsuit from the victim and her family, he will be likely required to go to domestic violence classes and racial relation seminars.
Thankfully the girl didn't die.
That knuckle style chili has people heading to the hospital.
Welcome to Donald J. Trump's America.
On a side note.
I know one thing I do detest is auto-correct or insert. Whenever I post on Journal de la Reyna, I often try to proofread the post before submitting it.
I use Samsung Galaxy Tablets for most postings.
I hate when the Galaxy's brain dictates words. It's like having a T9 function on your phone where it automatically deduces the word you want. I often have words I didn't write show up on these postings.
My apologies to those who read on Journal de la Reyna.
