Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is a bawse. She shuts down Joe Lieberman and Steve King. |
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has become a bawse with progressive activists. She won't let the right and the corporate Democrats dictate how her message of inequality. She has been pressuring Democrats to support the Green New Deal. The lawmaker has been a troll on social media. She has been wacking back at Donald J. Trump, Republicans, Democrats and the junk food media.
Democrats want to cap the noise. Progressives vow to fight and push the party towards the left.
Instead of calling it the left, it should be called towards diversity and equality.
The thing Republicans taking cheap shots forget to mention is that it’s about having trouble affording a SECOND apartment.— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) January 13, 2019
I live in the Bronx and work in DC. Need a spot in both.
But I understand how they can’t conceive of a life where people don’t casually maintain 2 homes. https://t.co/K2cxCcRyk9
The President’s actions have been so destabilizing + destructive that the FBI had to open inquiry on whether the most powerful person in the United States is actually working for Russia.— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) January 13, 2019
Reminder: Trump has currently shut down the Federal government.https://t.co/gRdJ9H8V20
Let’s learn about this, shall we?— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) January 10, 2019
Many have recognized that @FoxNews has crossed a line beyond conservatism and into outright bigotry with their financing of Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham. Tucker finances the @DailyCaller, which posted fake nudes of me.
Here’s a breakdown⬇️ https://t.co/nnajlpIcML
The real question is, at what point is their nonstop, targeted behavior considered harassment?https://t.co/qpjrLpGRLv— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) January 10, 2019
a) this is not an apology— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) January 10, 2019
b) you’ve been posting hysteric, misrepresentative articles about me nonstop - many within 24h.
The @DailyCaller, funded by @TuckerCarlson (at @FoxNews), has a well-documented relationship with white supremacy.
Unsurprising they’re targeting me. https://t.co/LcQuQYWdqk
For those out of the loop, Republicans began to circulate a fake nude photo of me. The @DailyCaller reposted it (!) and refused to indicate it was fake in the title as well.— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) January 10, 2019
Completely disgusting behavior from Conservative outlets.
No wonder they defended Kavanaugh so fiercely.
GOP have been losing their mind + frothing at the mouth all week, so this was just a matter of time.— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) January 10, 2019
There is also a Daily Mail reporter (Ruth Styles) going to my boyfriend’s relative’s homes+offering them cash for “stories.”
Women in leadership face more scrutiny. Period. https://t.co/KuHJ75sdMg
New party, who dis? https://t.co/2cznisv8tB— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) January 11, 2019
She hit at Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) and Rep. Steve King (R-IA), two lawmakers who are white extremists. The two lawmakers have openly supported the alt-white movement. Scalise is the Minority Whip of the Republican House. King admits he is a white supremacist.
“Seeds.”— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) January 13, 2019
Out of the minority of seats they have in Congress, the GOP allowed a white supremacist to represent ~700,000 people.
Republicans won’t even censure him.
They also protect a president who can’t bring himself to condemn neo-Nazis.
Those aren’t seeds.
They’re redwoods. https://t.co/BhOE9CDRzD
You spelled “racist” wrong. https://t.co/GZOYbERSIi— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) January 12, 2019
At this point those who use the terms “racially tinged” or “racially charged” to describe white supremacy should be prepared to explain why they chose to employ those terms instead of “racist”/“racism.”— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) January 12, 2019
If the answer is their own discomfort, they’re protecting the wrong people.
You’re the GOP Minority Whip. How do you not know how marginal tax rates work?— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) January 6, 2019
Oh that’s right, almost forgot: GOP works for the corporate CEOs showering themselves in multi-million💰bonuses; not the actual working people whose wages + healthcare they’re ripping off for profit. https://t.co/R1YIng2Ok1
Bury this jackass. |
Ocasio-Cortez made national headlines last year when she defeated Joe Crawley, a 10-term incumbent and former chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, in the primary for New York’s 14th Congressional District.
The 29-year-old self-identified democratic socialist became the youngest woman ever elected to the House in November.
She often hits back to criticism on her social media accounts and roiled conservatives earlier this month when she floated the idea of higher tax rates on the wealthiest Americans to fund a "Green New Deal" as an aggressive response to climate change.
