New Orleans Braces For Hurricane Isaac!

Isaac is approaching New Orleans, seven years to the day, Hurricane Katrina leveled the city.
Isaac is a dangerous storm. The potential of the tropical storm becoming a hurricane is likely. And it's aimed directly for New Orleans. Tuesday's arrival of the storm marks the day that Hurricane Katrina destroy the South.

Over seven years ago, Hurricane Katrina pounded New Orleans, Louisiana and Biloxi, Mississippi. The hurricane killed over thousands of people. President George W. Bush felt the impact. He was roundly criticized for taking a vacation while the hurricane was approaching. The Bush administration's slow actions lead to the direct destruction of a major city.

When celebrities were fundraising for the victims of the hurricane, Kanye West made an impromptu speech declaring that George W. Bush doesn't care about Black people.

Are we seeing history repeating itself?

No.

People are preparing for this one. People are bracing for the Category 1 (even possibility of Category 2) storm. This storm could bring damage to the Gulf Coast.

In 2005, the fuel prices soared up to over $3.00 a gallon. The shut down of oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico and the potential damages of communities surrounding the Gulf Coast has driven fuel prices above the normal.

The New York Daily News reports that the GOP is panicked that Tropical Storm Isaac will morph into a hurricane and begin pounding the Gulf coast late Monday or early Tuesday. They don’t want to have to compete for news time with a dramatic hurricane.

But a bigger cause for their alarm is the very real possibility Isaac will hit New Orleans. And if it does, it may remind Americans of the last time New Orleans took the full brunt of a hurricane – and the non-response from the last Republican White House.

It was Hurricane Katrina, and the President was George W. Bush. Weeks and months went by as the residents of New Orleans suffered.

allbaugh
Then President George W. Bush and former FEMA chief Michael Brown. Then President Bush uttered the infamous words: "Brownie, you're doing a heck a of a job!"

“Heck of a job, Brownie,” said Bush to the administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Administration, Michael Brown –  who hadn’t done his job at all.

That’s because Bush not only failed New Orleans. He also told America there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq – leading us into a terrible war on the basis of a lie.

High fuel prices happen during a hurricane or disruption in oil supply.
In addition, Bush took a $5 trillion budget surplus, handed to him by the Clinton administration, and turned it into an almost $6 trillion debt. He did this by enacting a giant tax cut that went mostly to wealthy Americans, passing a Medicare drug benefit that mostly benefitted the drug companies, and then convincing Congress to bail out Wall Street – no strings attached.

The Bush administration also let Wall Street get away with the risky bets and predatory home loans, until the Street almost melted down.

Mitt Romney and others who are gathering in Tampa want to erase the memory of George W. Bush. They want to blame President Obama for the budget deficit and the lousy economy. That’s what their infomercial is largely about.

But if a Hurricane Isaac pounds New Orleans, Americans may start to recall the Bush administration anyway. They may even begin to recall how Republicans treat average Americans in need. And how they treat top executives from corporations and Wall Street whose jets have just been cleared to land in Tampa, where they’ll be wined and dined for the next three days.

Megadeath Singer Trashes Obama Overseas!

Aging rocker trashes President Obama overseas.

Dave Mustaine is never shy about his political views. He's endorsed Mitt Romney for president. I guess he's not comfortable to say it to the face of the President of The United States, so what does he do, go overseas and totally trashes President Barack Obama. Now you know conservatives get when a person criticizes a Republican president. They call for blood. I wonder if those liberals are heeding the message!

I am guessing he'll probably be getting his first interview on Sean Hannity's radio and television program.

The rock band is under fire for one member's rant about the tragedy in Wisconsin and the traitorous attack on President Barack Obama.

Like the Dixie Chicks, Eminem and Ludacris, if you're criticizing President George W. Bush, they call you a traitor. But if you're Ted Nugent, Dave Mustaine, Penn Gillette, Jon Lovitz, Jon Voight, and Victoria Jackson, you're a patriot.

Dave Mustaine, the frontman of Megadeath is catching some major flack after he went overseas to denounce the president.

Zap2It reports that the aging frontman believes the tragic shootings in at a Sikh Temple and Aurora, Colorado were conspiracies created by the president and Attorney General Eric Holder to take away firearms.

There are conspiracy theories, and then there is the stuff that comes out of Dave Mustaine 's mouth. Mustaine, the frontman for heavy-metal band Megadeth, has accused President Obama  of masterminding the "Dark Knight Rises" shooting and other incidents in order to pass gun-control legislation.

Mustaine made his rather extreme accusations in the middle of an Aug. 7 concert in Singapore during the the band's "Th1rt3en World Tour." In the middle of the show, he took a moment with the microphone to express his extreme dislike for the president.

"Back in my country, my president is trying to pass a gun ban, so he's staging all of these murders," Mustaine says. "The 'Fast and Furious' thing down at the border. And Aurora, Colorado -- all the people that were killed there. And now the beautiful people at the Sikh temple. I was talking to J.D., our promoter here tonight -- what a great guy. I was saying, I don't know where I'm going to live if America keeps going the way it's going, because it looks like it's turning into Nazi America."

Mustaine's allegations refer to the Aug. 5 shooting at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin, the July 20 "Dark Knight Rises" shooting in Colorado, and the December 2010 murder of an Arizona border agent and subsequent scandal involving the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. If you believe Mustaine, all of these are the fault of President Obama.

If you really want to see the angry rant for yourself, check out the video from the concert.

Another Round?

President Obama plays golf and his political foes are whining about it! The president played more rounds than George W. Bush and Bill Clinton. The reason why they're complaining is because they believe he should be working every day instead of taking time to relax? The Republicans and their conservative allies are using political dog whistle to rile up white voters again!
You know what?

PURE NIGGERIZATION!

I am getting really tired of hearing conservatives whine their pathetic asses off about the president playing golf. It's almost like they saying in dog whistle:

"That NIGGER doesn't deserve the right to play golf or have some time to relax! We the American people put that NIGGER in the White House! Why can't that NIGGER ever do anything? He fucked up the economy! And while he's destroying the Constitution, he and his 'fat' wife Moochelle are taking too many vacations and eating good while real 'patriots' are struggling!"

This is what White conservatives are thinking?

The president doesn't get a day off! Even though today is his birthday, his political foes aren't concerned about that! They're concerned about how many rounds of golf or vacations he takes. Nothing can satisfy the Republicans and their conservative allies.

Instead of worrying about how far they'll go to piss off the entire country, they'll worry their asses off about the president's time to relax!

Do you not understand the President of the United States is probably the most stressful job out there?

Hell you people in the conservative movement should check the script and learn that every freaking modern day president played golf.

The reason why this and that damn teleprompter stuff comes into the conservative media is the fact they're trying to paint the president as aloof, inconsistent and out of touch.

See when then President George W. Bush made the statement that he's given up on golf while the troops are overseas, the progressive pounced on the comments. They've made the case that Bush lied about giving up on golf. Even out of office, Bush was seen with conservative agitator Brian Kilmeade of Fox News playing a round of golf.

According to ABC News, like 15 of the 18 presidents since Theodore Roosevelt, Obama has used golf as a way to unwind outdoors, but away from the prying eyes of press and onlookers. And despite the fact that he had never golfed before taking office, his love of the game is well known.

On warm-weather weekends he frequently visits two courses in the Washington area, Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland and Fort Belvoir in Virginia. Typically close friends or junior aides join him as partners, as was the case today when he brought Marty Nesbitt, a chum and neighbor from this city.

Matching predecessors, he is also known to bring business to the green on occasion. Among others, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, former President Bill Clinton, and House Speaker John Boehner have all teed off with Obama at some point.

Republicans have attempted to target the president’s hobby as a sign of taking too much time off in an era of economic trouble for the country. In April, Mitt Romney, who does not play the game, told a conservative radio host it displayed a poor work ethic.

“I scratch my head at the capacity of the president to take four hours off on such a regular basis to go golfing,” he said. “I would think you could kind of suck it up for four years, particularly when the American people are out of work.”

Last year conservative media outlets like The Drudge Report and Fox Nation made a racially themed article saying the president, retired basketball player Charles Barkley, hip-hop mogul Jay-Z, comedian Chris Rock and legendary singer Stevie Wonder were having a good ole' "Hip-Hop BBQ"!

Golf is primarily for White males who vote Republican. White males are the most pessimistic voters! They are more concerned with issues such as the president playing golf or eating a freaking hot dog with Dijon mustard.

The biggest success for golf is Tiger Woods. And yet, conservatives can't stand him since he admitted he had numerous affairs with white women!

Dick Cheney: [McCain] "Goofed Up" Picking Palin!

The power of Photoshop. Vice President Dick Cheney reflects on his time and offers cautionary advice to Mitt Romney not to pick a candidate that reminds the public of Sarah Palin.

The Republican Party has known for theatrics. Every Sunday morning a Republican goes on television to express his disgust of the president. One in particular is former Vice President Dick Cheney.

Cheney who is recovering from heart surgery is out in the open speaking to the press about how he's not a fan of the Obama Administration and faults President Barack Obama for the economic turmoils he'd inherited from the vice president's former boss George W. Bush.

The former vice president and former President George W. Bush have kept a relatively low profile. Cheney comes out once in awhile going after the president or Colin Powell, the former Secretary of State who was at odds with the vice president. Powell endorsed Barack Obama for president in 2008. They are not attending the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida.

On ABC's This Week with George Stephanpoulos, the former vice president offers his take on the 2012 U.S. Presidential Elections, former governor and perennial candidate for president Mitt Romney and the outcome of the economy.

ABC reporter Jonathon Karl asked Cheney about the potential pick of vice president for Romney, and the subject of that had the former vice president open up about Palin. The previous nominee Senator John McCain (R-Arizona) and his vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, then governor of the state of Alaska lost in the 2008 U.S. Presidential Election.

Let's say that Cheney knew that it was a mistake that McCain picked Sarah Palin. This comes a few days after the dumb conservative agitator and her husband Todd Palin were spotted at Texas Chick-Fil-A restaurant in support of the company's stance against gay rights.

Cheney has a daughter Mary who is openly a lesbian. Liz Cheney is a political pundit who has thoughts of running for U.S. Senate to replace Democratic Virginia senator Mark Warner.

Drudge: Pick Condi!

Ebony and Whitey!

Condoleezza Rice, former U.S. Secretary of State under George W. Bush, is floated around once again as the potential vice presidential choice for Republican perennial candidate Mitt Romney.

The conservative media is buzzing about the frontrunner status. People are starting to take notice to Condi and the potential impact it may have on the 2012 U.S. Presidential Election.

Condoleezza Rice served as National Security Adviser (2001 - 2005) and U.S. Secretary of State (2005 - 2009) under George W. Bush, the 43rd President of The United States.

Rice stated that she had no intention on being any running mate to the potential Republican nominee. Could she have changed her mind?

Drudge agitating the thought of a Romney-Rice ticket

The Drudge Report has the headline buzzing on the website as of today and it's getting mainstream buzz.

People already think that it's a potential ploy for the Black vote or woman vote if Romney should pick Rice as his running mate.

Mitt Romney has been tight lipped about who he is planning on picking as his running mate.

Known players include

  • Senator Marco Rubio (R-Florida)
  • Congressman Paul Ryan (R-Wisconsin)
  • Governor Chris Christie (R-New Jersey)
  • Senator Rob Portman (R-Ohio)
  • Pennsylvania former senator Rick Santorum
  • Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-New Hampshire)
  • Governor Bobby Jindal (R-Louisiana)
  • Minnesota former governor Tim Pawlenty
  • Governor Susana Martinez (R-New Mexico)

ROMNEY NARROWS VP CHOICES; CONDI EMERGES AS FRONTRUNNER
Thu Jul 12 2012 19:30:01 ET

**Exclusive**

Late Thursday evening, Mitt Romney's presidential campaign launched a new fundraising drive, 'Meet The VP' -- just as Romney himself has narrowed the field of candidates to a handful, sources reveal.

And a surprise name is now near the top of the list: Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice!

The timing of the announcement is now set for 'coming weeks'.

MORE

It was Condi who received two standing ovations at Romney's Utah retreat a few weeks ago, and everyone left with her name on their lips.

Rice made an extended argument for American leadership in the world.

In recent days, she emailed supporters:

"2012 is perhaps a turning point for the United States."

"The upcoming elections loom as one of the most important in my lifetime," she warned. "I'm very often asked to speak about our current foreign policy and the challenges that lie before us. However, we, as a country, are not going to be able to address any of those international challenges unless we first get our domestic house in order."

No Mercy!

President Barack Obama gets some of the most nastiest insults from his political foes. One in particular is the infamous reclusive serial agitator Matt Drudge. The Drudge Report agitates controversial stories that paint the president as an enemy. This story is comes from Fox13 Salt Lake City, Utah. It is about a political parade that shows off an Obama impersonator (White guy in mask) jumping and jiving like a "Blackface" minstrel.

The people who support the president are offended. The Republicans and their conservative allies will defend this offensive attack on the president. This is the freedom of speech and people are entitled to insult the president without making threats. The usual defense of a controversial anti-Obama theme, is practically brush it off! They'll say that those "evil liberals" paint George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan like war trotting cowboys! We don't see anything different!

HUNTSVILLE, Utah — A parade entry portraying President Barack Obama and using the term “Obamanation” has made some angry, and others upset at the negative attention.
It happened in the city’s annual Fourth of July parade.
The float showed a person dressed as President Obama with one sign that read “Huntsville Welcomes Obama’s Farewell Tour?” On the back, another sign said, “Ask about our assault gun plan. Call Eric Holder.”
On one side of the issue, people are saying the float was disrespectful and had no place in a patriotic parade. The other side says it was all in good fun.
Huntsville Mayor Jim Truett and City Council member Laurie Allen say the entry doesn’t reflect the views of the city. They say it was entered at the last minute, not through usual protocol and they would not have approved it if they had seen it.
“I don’t think we would have allowed it, in fact I know we wouldn’t,” said Allen. “We just don’t want that. It’s a family-oriented celebration.”
Weber County Sheriff Lt. Mark Lowther told Fox 13 News his department contacted  the Secret Service after some residents expressed concern the float was a threat to the President.
“We don’t decide what’s appropriate. That’s up to the town, the parade organizers and the people who design the float,” said Chief Deputy Klint Anderson, Weber County Sheriff’s Office, in a statement.

If Osama bin Laden Was Alive.....

File:Obama and Biden await updates on bin Laden.jpg
President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden watching the operation.
In May 2011, President Barack Obama authorized the military special operations unit to go into Abbottabad, Pakistan to track down al-Qaeda mastermind Osama bin Laden.

A risky and yet gutsy decision by the president to send a covert team of military officers into a country with a mere few hours to carry out the task.

I mean this was a huge story.  Very much for every network to interrupt the season finales of many television programs. President Barack Obama announced on national television the mission's success:

Good evening. Tonight, I can report to the American people and to the world that the United States has conducted an operation that killed Osama bin Laden, the leader of al-Qaeda, and a terrorist who was responsible for the murder of thousands of innocent men, women, and children...

Yet the Republicans were willing to credit President George W. Bush for carrying out the mission.

The Republicans ran on this "strong on national security" theme for years. They've painted President Barack Obama as an ineffective leader who wouldn't know how to defend the United States.

Now it's one year later, and the very same "strong on national security" themed Republicans are upset that President Barack Obama played his card. They can't deny that he carried it out. But they sure don't want to hear anything about it.

The Republican candidate for president, Mitt Romney was asked about this and yes he invoked President Jimmy Carter. This is what Mitt Romney does. He will say anything to win an election.

Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, the controversial agitators and their take on Osama bin Laden. Yet these two chickenhawks are willing to make the case that torture works. Neither conservative participated in the waterboarding demonstration. Sean Hannity wanted to donated to charity! He hasn't done it yet!

Conservatives are really upset that President Barack Obama played his "victory" in this 2012 U.S. Presidential Election. A historic event now becomes a political issue. Conservatives rather credit the U.S. Navy Seals for the actions but yet ignore the Commander-and-Chief.

The Republicans who once said that Barack Obama is naive on foreign policy and the "War on Terrorism" are now crowing about how he is throwing this event in their faces. They argue that if it wasn't for the torture and detainment of members of al-Qaeda, the information to get Osama bin Laden would never happen. If they couldn't get the information from these members through torture what makes them think that it worked?

What took over 10 years, was accomplished. President Barack Obama never ignored the threat of terrorism. It took nearly 2.5 years to find Osama bin Laden. Yes, he deserves all the credit. They can't deny this. President Barack Obama credited those in the CIA, U.S. military and former presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton for their efforts. The conservatives continue to ignore that. And they're spinning like tops in the filthy cesspool of ignorance.

He managed to out maneuver the Republicans and they're now upset that he's done it.

How low will these bitter people go?

They played every card in the book. The race card. The fear card. The liberal media lie. The Republicans have been labeled the "Party of No".

They've been painted as extremists.

They are so fixated on finding faults with President Barack Obama. They have allies devoted to promoting conspiracies that drive wedges between fellow Americans.

Yet, the cool and calm President Barack Obama continues ignores the chatter of his foes and waits patiently for the next move. The president cautions that his political foes are willing to do anything. His campaign will take nothing for granted.

Let me tell you this! I rather have a cool president in Barack Obama than a boring, bitter, and downright inconsistent politician in Mitt Romney.

And yes, a cool president than a geezer who spouts conspiracy theories in Congressman Ron Paul of Texas.

And for the former presidential contenders in Congresswoman Michele Bachmann of Minnesota, Governor Rick Perry of Texas, Herman Cain, Tim Pawlenty, Jon Huntsman, Newt Gingrich, Gary Johnson, Rick Santorum, and Congressman Thad McCotter of Michigan.

It wasn't your time, and it's never going to be your time. Let your journey as a presidential candidate be a notch on your belt. You guys weren't ready for the job.
