It's getting worse.

Americans are catching COVID-19 faster and it's getting more deadlier for those who continue to not practice social distancing and not wear a damn mask.

The original King of Talk has passed away.

CNN confirms Lary King has passed away at the age of 87. Born Lawrence Harvey Zeiger, the Brooklyn born broadcaster had a larger than life personality on radio, television and paid commercials. He won two Peabodys, an Emmy and 10 Cable Ace Awards.

He adopted the "Larry King" persona after the radio general manager told him he sound too ethnic and people wouldn't remember his name as Zeiger. So he legally changed his name and used his name throughout the time.

King did have a brush with law enforcement in 1971. He was arrested for grand larceny by a former business partner. He ended up having his legal matters settled by then.

Larry King was a lifelong Dodgers fan. He often went to the games. He couldn't last year watch his team win the World Series due to health issues and the pandemic.

King died shortly after he tested positive for COVID-19. The former CNN host was personally courted by CNN founder Ted Turner to host a primetime television show which he hosted from the 1980s until 2010. He was an icon among talk show hosts.

His son, Chance who also tested positive for COVID-19 said that he passed away Saturday morning.

For over 25 years, Larry King had hosted the CNN show interviewing celebrities, athletes, movie stars, everyday people, presidential candidates and presidents. He had taped over 6,000 episodes.

King had interviewed, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama. He had interviewed future presidents Donald J. Trump and Joe Biden when they were then a business mogul and U.S. Senator.

"With profound sadness, Ora Media announces the death of our co-founder, host and friend, Larry King, who passed away at age 87 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles," the statement said. "For 63 years and across the platforms of radio, television and digital media, Larry's many thousands of interviews, awards, and global acclaim stand as a testament to his unique and lasting talent as a broadcaster."

King had been hospitalized with COVID-19 in December.

"We mourn the passing of our colleague Larry King," Jeff Zucker said in a statement.

Larry King has interviewed presidents. Here's Larry with Barack Obama.

"The scrappy young man from Brooklyn had a history-making career spanning radio and television. His curiousity about the world propelled his award-winning career in broadcasting, but it was his generosity of spirit that drew the world to him. We are so proud of the 25 years he spent with CNN, where his newsmaker interviews truly put the network on the international stage. From our CNN family to Larry's we send our thoughts and prayers, and a promise to carry on his curiousity for the world in our work."

King has suffered a number of health issues. He had several heart attacks and battled with lung cancer. He was smoker until 2015.

He successfully underwent surgery to treat it. He also underwent a procedure in 2019 to address angina.

King had lost two of his adult children within weeks. Andy, 65 (his adopted son) passed away from a heart attack. Chala died after being diagnosed with lung cancer. King has three other sons.

At the time he was separated from his seventh wife, Shawn. He was married eight times.

She separated from King in late 2019. King was married eight times.

The broadcaster had back to back deaths in his family. His adopted son, Andy passed away from a heart attack. His daughter, Chaia died of lung cancer.

It been a rough year in 2020. Expect things to get worse in 2021.

The coronavirus does not care about your race, gender, sexuality, religion, politics, your thoughts on wearing a mask, your thoughts on opening up America, your job, your vacation, your education, your personal wealth or who won an election.

The coronavirus is a disease that can kill.

Larry interviews then senator Joe Biden.

It has killed over 400,000 Americans and is on track to take nearly 1 million.

Former president Donald J. Trump never took the pandemic seriously until he caught it. But since he's the president, he gets quality health care while some are paying up to $2 million to be treated for the severe cases of the coronavirus.

President Joe Biden has stated that the United States could lose a population as big as Philadelphia in the next three months if Americans refuse to take the pandemic seriously.
