Malik Yoba: I Don't Give A F*ck! Trans Women Are Fine Too!

Malik Yoba says he's attracted to trans women.
The 51-year old entertainer has admitted to the junk food media, he's attracted to transgender women and he's no longer ashamed of it. He said it in regards to a brewing scandal.

"I have been an ally of the trans community since I was in high school; having friends who have transitioned. Both became homeless as a result, because their parents didn't accept them, and unfortunately one ended up dead from HIV and crack addiction."

He added, "The amount of vitriol I have experienced being sent my way just for standing in an uncomfortable place pales in comparison to what it feels like to actually be a trans person and be scrutinized or vilified daily. The choice has not been easy, but I still feel I have more work to do to help my fellow advocates liberate and normalize my brothers and sisters of the trans experience."

Malik Yoba (born Abdul-Malik Kashie Yoba) is an American actor and occasional singer. He is best known for his role as NYPD Detective J.C. Williams on the Fox police drama New York Undercover.

He also has a handful of television and movie credits on his belt. He was a series regular in the first season of Empire.

He took to social media to address homophobia and transphobia in the Black community.

ATTENTION BLACK AND ALL MEN!!! THIS IS NOT OK!!!!! This video is another heartbreaking example of the homophobia, transphobia hatred and hypocrisy WE as black folks, BLACK MEN in particular have to NAME , FACE and CALL OUT and do the work to heal!!! THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I WILL BE AT @transmarchondc ๐Ÿณ️‍๐ŸŒˆhosting a workshop called LOVE + TRAUMA: The Trans Experience on Sept 27 2019 ( details TBD ) His name was Maurice “Reese” Willoughby, a 20 yr old baby who killed himself from an apparent drug overdose after his girlfriend left him due to abuse. Clearly as evidenced in this video this young man was confident in his choice to love who he loved but the uninformed young men around him haven’t been taught BY US that love is love and acceptance of Trans love is ok and bullying has nothing to do with masculinity or HETEROSEXUAL behavior. Ultimately his mental and emotional health was not intact enough and the fragility of his life as he saw it was too much to bear. Often times this type of shame and ridicule can lead to the murders of women of the trans experience . NOT OK!! Clearly he didn’t get the support of his peers who think that toxicity = masculinity and humanity. That being a “real man” means we must disrespect and demean those that FIND themselves attracted to women of the trans experience. The fact that he was trans attracted presumably meant that he had no safe space to go to find the support he needed to learn to navigate love of a woman of the trans experience in a world that constantly tells you you’re wrong. TRANS PEOPLE DESERVE LOVE AND RESPECT AS DO THOSE OF US THAT LOVE THEM!! I love ALL women AND count MYSELF among those that find themselves trans attracted and I too have felt the self imposed shame that comes with that truth but it’s time to speak up. It is NOT about GENITALIA OR SEX but about attraction to the soul and humanity of an individual and often the beauty that is in the courage and conviction to live ones truth! As a self identified cis heterosexual man I too am learning what it means to be trans attracted. Many of us famous and otherwise that have struggled with accepting our attraction so we do NOTHING. This MUST change ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

He said that he decided to come out in support of a 20 year old man who was bullied online by Black agitators because he dated a trans woman. Last month, Philadelphia man, Maurice "Reese" Willoughby was dating a trans woman named Faith. He killed himself after he shared an intimate video of the two kissing.

The junk food media claimed it was suicide but the bag 'em ups claim it was apparent drug overdose.
Yoba's family.
Still the family and Faith were devastated by his death. They blame this culture of homophobia, toxic masculinity and social media for his death.

Many in the hip-hop community still flex the homophobia. Mind you we're in 2019 and in the age of Donald J. Trump, Americans have become more cynical towards difference. Given that the most listened to single in the country, Old Town Road is by Lil Nas X. The rapper who came out as gay or bisexual in a series of cryptic tweets earned praise from many in the hip-hop community.

Some are coming to grips with acceptance. Others are still acting like it's high school.

Mind you that immaturity still exists. Namely the 50 Cent-Young Buck feud. Young Buck was caught on camera getting head service from a trans woman entertainer named Glamour Perfekk. The trans woman shamed him online for not opening up about their relationship. 50 Cent has relentless been attacking Buck for this. Many in the LGBTQ community have condemned the two rappers for their pathetic antics.

Yoba's coming out party was not planned. It's pretty much a deflection. Because an old flame is coming back with vengeance. The entertainer who is married with three children is facing a scandal.

Entertainer was outed by a transgender woman who accused him of sexual abuse.

Yoba is being accused by trans woman Mariah Lopez Ebony of exploiting her.

New York passed one of the most strictest laws against exploitation of children. The trans woman accused Yoba of picking her up for a cheap thrill when she was an underage prostitute. She said that he would routinely cruise areas for Black or Latinx trans woman. He would have unprotected sex with them.
Trans woman accused the entertainer of sexual abuse.
The trans woman said that she is considering filing a complaint with the state prosecutors.

She said that Yoba may have other women and trans women accusing him.

She believe that his "coming out" wasn't honest. It was pressure because if she files charges he could find himself fired out the cannon with shows he's starring in.
