Trump has no real plan on handling Afghanistan. All he believes in is victory. |
The definition of victory is.....!
Donald J. Trump is by far the most unpopular leader in modern history. It's going to be extremely hard to win over support for the latest engagement in Afghanistan.
America's longest and costliest war continues on. Where George W. Bush and Barack Obama failed, Trump said to the American people, "we will win."
At Ft. Myer Military Base in Virginia, Trump, Mike Pence, Rex Tillerson, Melania and Ivanka joined the inept leader for an address to the nation on the latest developments.
Trump is expected to add more troops to combat a resurgent Taliban. The group is hoping that United States wears itself out trying to defeat a group that has an advantage.
Since October of 2001, the War on Terrorism has been more of a nation-rebuilding work of art. It's an endless propaganda trying to defeat a bunch of people, who the American public view as an "enemy."
The Taliban who were once the ruling party in Afghanistan ruled a conservative Sunni government.
George W. Bush blamed Afghanistan for the safe-harbor of Osama bin Laden and Ayman Al-Zahiwi, the two financiers of the September 11, 2001 attack. The coordinated attack took advantage of the lapse in American security and airline safety. The U.S. government to this day still ignores the soft targets and the reasons to why al-Qaeda and the Islamic State attacks people.
"Our troops will fight to win. We will fight to win," Trump said to the soldiers at the Fort Myer. "From now on, victory will have a definition: attacking our enemies. Obliterating ISIS. Crushing al-Qaeda. Preventing the Taliban from taking over Afghanistan. And stopping mass terror attacks against America before they emerge."
Mind you we had a terrorist attack in Charlottesville from an American who drove his vehicle into a crowd of protesters. A white man from Ohio who was radicalized by Christian Identity agitators who believe that America is devoted to anti-White propaganda.
There will be no "blank check."
Trump blamed Obama for the hasty withdrawal from Iraq and the slow-walking on Afghanistan.
"The consequences of a rapid exit are both predictable and unacceptable. A hasty withdrawal would created a vacuum that terrorist, including ISIS and al-Qeada, would instantly fill."
Trump offered no timeline on how he can Make Afghanistan Great Again.
The Taliban denounced Trump. They said that the war will be "the graveyard for the American empire."
He pointed at the Pakistani government for offering safe haven to terrorist. He urged India, China and others to push for sanctions against Pakistan.
The inept leader done three things of hypocrisy. First he used a teleprompter. He complained about Obama using a teleprompter to deliver speeches. He now uses them frequently.
He said that he would be working more than taking vacations. He spent so much time traveling to his personal golf courses, his Trump Tower and campaign stops. The Secret Service is already maxed out its account. To watch Trump his family, Pence and his family, foreign leaders, the Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and ex-presidents is straining the budget.
He said that we won't fight and become the world's police man. We have constant issues with Asia. We're still fighting an endless war, we're closer to nuclear war with North Korea and we might be engaging in Venezuela. He wants to build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico sparking a trade war. He wants to tell NATO, Germany and China to handle conflicts that America created.
We had major collisions with the U.S. Navy in Japan, Singapore and South Korea.
We already had a bunch of mishaps with the U.S. Navy in which four fleets were damaged.
USS Antietam in January, USS Lake Champlian, USS Fitzgerald, and USS John S. McCain were damaged heavily.
We're spending more on military and defense spending.
Trump wanted to put "America First."
So far, if we're putting America first in battling a war, it's a toss up between Trump keeping his promises or breaking them. I am not concerned. They voted for that. I didn't.
