Obama: Good Luck America! You're Gonna Need It!
The president delivers his final presser to the American people. While Republicans are so freaking glad he's going, Democrats are so hoping that his replacement suffers the same treatment.
Democrats are seething with anger.
Obama was assured if not optimistic about the future of the country.
"At my core I think we're going to be okay," Obama said as he concluded his final news conference at the White House. "We just have to fight for it, work for it, and not take it for granted."
"I know that you will help us do that," said Obama.
Obama reflects on his eight years, the release of Chelsea Manning, Russia, Israel, Republican obstruction, his failure to get Merrick Garland confirmed, and his return to private life.
All in all, Obama says that he's glad to be out. He said that he will resided in the area until his youngest daughter 16 year old Sasha exits high school.
Thank you Mr. Obama. I am going to miss you.
