Fresh Kid Ice Passed Away!

Fresh Kid Ice of the 2 Live Crew passed away.

A founding member of the Miami Bass Sound passed away. The junk food media reports the tragic death of Fresh Kid Ice.

Born Christopher Wong Won, the rap star died at the age of 53 years old.

Won's agent, DJ DBo told CNN that he dealt with some health issues but choose to not elaborate on them.

The 2 Live Crew began in the mid-1980s and became a part of American history in the 1990s. Their critically acclaimed album, As Nasty as They Wanna Be was a controversial piece. It was an X-rated album and earned the ire of conservatives.

They took the rap group to the Supreme Court and it ruled in the favor of the group.

Won and his former partner Luther "Uncle Luke 'Skyywalker'" Campbell were busted in a nightclub after they were performing songs that were deemed offensive. The federal judge placed them in the lockup.

The group argued that the government was censoring speech. Campbell once said that the government wastes more time fighting us then working for the American people who voted their asses in.

Campbell took to social media to send his condolences to his old friend.

The group became the first in history to win a court case. It also paved the way for the Parental Advisory Label board.

To this day, most hip-hop, most hardcore rock, comedy, some R&B, and pop albums have the label slapped on the side.

The hip-hop community lost another iconic member of the golden age.
