Empty Racks At Bon Ton!

Bon Ton has decided to shutter stores after filed Chapter 11. The 24 states that have a Bon Ton store could be affected.  

The stock market dropped bigly.

While in Cincinnati, Donald J. Trump was calling Democrats "treasonous" for not standing for him during his State of the Union Address.

He lied about how many viewers watch it. About 46.9 million, good but Barack Obama in his first year had 52.4 million.

The Russian scandal isn't going away anytime soon. It seems like he and the congressional Republicans once again shot a water gun instead of a cannon.

And what about them jobs, jobs, jobs.

Well yesterday, the Bon Ton company filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in its bid to save itself from failing. It announced that it will close up a handful of stores placing thousands of Americans out of work.

Bon Ton owns Younkers, Elder-Beerman, Carson's, Bergner, Boston Store and Herberger's.

They have a retail headquarters in Milwaukee and York, Pennsylvania.

The company blames Amazon and slow foot traffic as factors.

Gymboree, PaylessShoeSource and Toy "R" Us are on the bubble as well.

The same with JCPenny, Macy's, Sears, Kohls and most retailers.

We are at the peak of a major retail crisis.

In Cincinnati and Dayton, Bon Ton stores are called Elder-Beerman. There's no word on whether a store in the region will close up.

Ride With The King!

Ram under fire for using Martin Luther King, Jr.'s speeches in a promotion of a truck.
The Daimler/Fiat Chrysler Automotive Group is facing a backlash after they released a controversial Super Bowl ad featuring one of the sermons of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.



A Ram commercial featured the February 4th, 1968 sermon entitled, The Drum Major Instinct. This would be one of the final speeches before his tragic death in April.

It played a few memorable quotes from the civil rights leader and people working united as Americans. But what got some outraged was the fact that it was promoting a Ram truck instead of working to help impoverish Americans and people of color.

The King Estate approved the advertising.

That was the one thing I happened to notice while watching them Super Bowl commercials. It was just pretty stupid for the King family and estate to use the sermons to promote a vehicle.

These 👉__________ Continue To Embarrass The City Of Philadelphia!

Tariq Nasheed, thank you brother for seeing the obvious. I did not see our mainstream Black activists call it out. Even I knew that after the victory, theses assholes would act out.

The unfortunate results of victory.

The city and county of Philadelphia celebrates the victory of Superbowl LII.

The Philadelphia Eagles beaten the New England Patriots 41 - 33.
Nick Foles help the Eagles win the Superbowl championship.
After the win, thousands of fans decided to burn the city down. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the Philadelphia Division of Police, Penn commonwealth troopers and county boys from three regions had to maintain order.

No they didn't maintain order.

Stories of looting, an ostrich being stolen out of the zoo, fans eating horse shit, drunk fans diving off hotel awnings, vehicles being tossed over and destruction of traffic poles are being shared through social media.

And yet, the junk food media refuse to call it a riot. They call it partying out of hand. That's the bias, people of color often observe.

The very same people who complained about rioting in Ferguson, St. Louis, Baltimore and Charlotte are trashing Philadelphia because a sports team won a championship.

This is examples of white media trying justify animalistic behavior.

If Black people were looting for food to survive a hurricane, conservatives and some progressives would say that our kind are natural born criminals.
Fan dives to the street after drunk climbing on an awning.
If Black people block freeways, major roads and kneel to the national anthem, conservatives and some progressives would call us a bunch of son of a bitches.

If Black people riot after a cop walks, a vigilante walks, a justice system that convicts a Black person unfairly and the raping of our children, we see conservatives and some progressives target us with vehicles. White extremists use our images to radicalized their supporters. Police use tear gas and batons.

And yes, the Republicans pass laws to keep us shackled to chains.

People are noticing and it ain't just me. And yes, these clueless white conservatives and progressives won't condemn this.










Congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles winning Superbowl LII.

I condemn the actions of the fans destroying the city of Philadelphia. White people are violent and yesterday's actions are an example of it.

Paul Ryan Thinks Six Quarters On A Paycheck Is The American Dream!

With all that cash from the Koch brothers, Paul Ryan smiles as the working class picks up the change.
Randy Bryce hopes to unseat the House Speaker, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI).

Ryan is facing possibly one of the most competitive races in his political career. He and many Republicans fear the inept leader's low job approvals could cost them the majority in Congress.

Ryan got $500,000 from the Koch brothers soon after he and Republicans passed tax refor,.

Ryan once again stepped in it. He posted on social media his thoughts on the Republican-led law that change tax reform.

The Jobs and Tax Cuts Act is a law signed by Donald J. Trump that realigned the tax code and gave corporation a tax cut. The remaining goes to most working class Americans.

It is extremely unpopular with the public. Even though most working class Americans will see increases in their paychecks, the cost of living is risinf and adjustments to personal savings is declining.

The Lancaster school worker that Ryan tweeted about became an overnight celebrity.
Corporations gave bonuses to some of their workers. Of course some didn't give bonuses. Some closed up shop and left workers out in the cold.
But you couldn't tell that to Trump, Ryan and the Republicans.

Ryan tweeted his remarks about a school secretary from Lancaster, Pennsylvania.


"A secretary at a public school in Lancaster, PA, said she was pleasantly suprised her pay went up $1.50 a week ... she said [that] will more than cover her Costco membership for the year." - Ryan posted on Twitter before it was scrubbed.

He didn't get the sarcasm of the post.

He promptly was slammed by lawmakers and his opponent in his competitive race back home.
















Julia Ketchum didn't expect to become an overnight celebrity.

She didn't even know Ryan used her post as a statement for the tax law.

She appreciate the fans and new found celebrity.

How's Them Rollbacks On Regulations?


Another deadly train crash and our lawmakers once again offer their worthless thoughts and prayers.

Two Amtrak workers were killed after their train bound for Miami from New York City crashed into a CSX freight train.

The signal according to the NTSB was switched on the wrong track.

This the third major train accident in less than two months.

There were incidents in Washington, Virginia and now South Carolina.

The city of Cayce, had to put a hold on traffic within the area.




Donald J. Trump, Gov. Henry McMaster, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) were notified and offered worthless condolences.

The Republicans and their need to cut the government and regulations will be the death of us all. They have shit for brains and Trump is leading them.

Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) said that Positive Train Control  would have prevented this. However, the Republicans want to cut the funding and avoid contributing to it.

Lessons are often ignored and repeated.

Dennis Edwards Passed Away!

Dennis Edwards passed away.
The iconic frontman of the R&B group, The Temptations has passed away.

Dennis Edwards was best known for the hits like Papa Was a Rollin' Stone and Cloud Nine died at the age of 74 from complications related to meningitis.

He died one day shy of his birthday.

His family and the group confirmed he passed away in Chicago.

He was born in 1932 in the small town of Fairfield, Alabama. He began his career singing at an early age. His family moved to Detroit and he was using his talents to get that golden ticket to Motown Records.

He got his break. When The Temptations replaced David Ruffin after he went to become a solo act, he soon became a successful mainstay.

He also went on to become a solo act and released three albums under the label.

He was briefly married to Ruth Pointer and has a daughter named Issa.

He leaves behind a wife named Brenda.

First bimbo Melania Trump shows the signs of frustration.

Her facial expressions and the separate rides to the Capitol have gotten the junk food media talking.

When the inept leader delivered his State of the Union Address, he came alone.

The allegations of Trump having an affair with Stormy Daniels really pissed Melania off. I mean we haven't seen much of her in the public eye.

The former supermodel and media mogul was not happy about living inside the bubble.

The Stormy Daniels affair happened when Trump met her at a celebrity golf tournament. He like her style and asked if she would meet him at a local hotel.

They would carry on a year long affair. It was alleged that they were getting it on while Melania was pregnant with Barron.

Daniels is a former porn star and activist.
