Franken Bows Out!

Franken is out.
And so he goes....

Al Franken will relinquish his Senate seat at the end of December. The embattled Democrat was forced to resign after eight women accused the lawmaker of inappropriate behavior.

Franken on his part, apologized again to his accusers. He said that he will continue to fight for the rights on the sidelines.

He took a dig at Donald J. Trump and Roy Moore.

Trump is facing 17 accusers who said he sexually abused them. Moore who is running for the senate seat in Alabama has nine women accusing him of sexual abuse when they were underage girls.

Franken said it's ironic that the Democrats hold their people accountable and Republicans embrace their people.

“Over the last few weeks, a number of women have come forward to talk about how they felt my actions had affected them. I was shocked. I was upset,” he said.  “But in responding to their claims, I also wanted to be respectful of that broader conversation, because all women deserve to be heard and their experiences taken seriously. I think that was the right thing to do. I also think it gave some people the false impression that I was admitting to doing things that I in fact haven’t done.”

“I am proud that during my time in the Senate I have used my power to be a champion of women. And that I have earned a reputation as someone who respects the women I work alongside every day. I know there’s been a very different picture of me painted over the last few weeks, but I know who I really am,” he said. “I know in my heart that nothing I’ve done as a senator, nothing, has brought dishonor on this institution.”

“I of all people am aware that there is some irony in the fact that I am leaving while a man who has bragged on tape about his history of sexual assault sits in the Oval Office and a man who has repeatedly preyed on young girls campaigns for the Senate with the full support of his party,” Franken said.

Franken was an actor, screenwriter, book writer, talk radio host and activist.

Now he is a disgraced lawmaker.

He joins his former nemesis Bill O'Reilly on the sidelines.

The seat will go through a special election in 2018. It was SAFE DEMOCRAT.

Now it's going to LEAN DEMOCRAT/TOSS UP.

To Tell The Tooth!

Trevor Noah believes Trump's slurred speech was a result of his dentures
The Daily Show host Trevor Noah started a hashtag trend.

#DentureDonald took off this morning. It is mocking Donald J. Trump and his bizarre speech yesterday. Trump at the White House set the tone of Middle Eastern unrest by acknowledging that in his belief, Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. He wants the United States to start moving it's embassy towards Jerusalem.

World leaders condemned this and it has gotten the United Nations General Assembly on high alert.

The only country supporting this is Israel. Most world leaders believed that Trump destroyed a 70 year truce between two factions who could spark a global war.

Trevor Noah took notice to the speech and look closely at what Donald Trump was saying.
Trump may have dentures in his mouth.
He believes that the inept leader has dentures.

Noah said that it reminded him of his grandfather when he was trying to finish a sentence.

Trump will say it's fake news and his teeth are fine. A 71 year old man with most of his teeth is rare. Especially if you're Donald J. Trump, having all your teeth is a miracle.

He is the oldest president elected to office. His health comes to question everyday.

Mind you, I hate saying President Donald Trump.

#MeToo

Time Magazine recognizes the Silence Breakers as Time's Person of the Year.

The magazine awards women who spoke out against sexual abuse and the fall of powerful men.

Tarana Burke along with notable accusers appeared on the cover.

Ashley Judd, Taylor Swift and Rose McGowan were also featured on the cover.

The magazine recaps all the notable incidents in which women and men experienced sexual abuse.

This is a backlash to Donald J. Trump. He was runner up but also tagged as an accuser of sexual abuse.

Controversy also plague the magazine. A company linked to Charles and David Koch is buying Time Media, the owners of Time, Sports Illustrated, People and US Weekly.

Harvey Weinstein, Bill O'Reilly, Matt Lauer, Al Franken, Charlie Rose, Brett Ratner, and John Conyers fall.

Trump continues to run this country. Roy Moore may soon write legislation.

We need to hold Republicans accountable. If the De,ocrats are denouncing Franken, Conyers and their icon Bill Clinton, that shows the party is pivoting towards women. They want to value the rights of all Americans.

Trump continues to Make America Great Again by dividing it.

Women continue to speak out. We believe you!

Caught With Your Pants Down!

John Conyers, Jr. (right) wants his son to finish his term. Conyers is a disgraced lawmaker who was accused of sexually abusing women.

Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) announced he will not seek reelection. A few days later, he resigned.

Nine accusers came out saying that Conyers did inappropriately things to them.

Conyers, one of the longest serving members of Congress is being hospitalized for dehydration and stress.

He is a handful of current and former lawmakers accused of sexual harassment towards staffers and constituents.
Rep. Al Green (D-TX) has allegations.
He also threw his support to the potential successor, his son.

John Conyers III is already under fire for allegations of sexual abuse and domestic violence towards his wife.

The Democrats and Republicans both have a problem. The Republicans have rebound support for Roy Moore, the Alabama Senate candidate that had allegedly nine women accusing him of sexual abuse when they were teenagers.
Rep. Blake Farenthold (R-TX) made a payment of $84,000 to his accusers.
Donald J. Trump is the number one pervert in office. He has 17 accusers and also that Access Hollywood hot mic.

Trump threw his support to Moore.

And while the Republicans seem to rally around the pedophile, the Democrats want it to be over.

Rep. Al Green (D-TX) has allegations against him. Lucinda Daniels had accused Green of sexual assault. Green shot back claiming that Daniels was a drug addict. The two quickly denounced reports about and said that the two settled their matter.

Green led an impeachment vote today.

Rep. Blake Farenthold (R-TX) allegedly paid off a handful of women using taxpayer money. Farenhold who swore to arrest Eric Holder paid a former female staffer $84,000. Lauren Greene spoke to the junk food media to tell her story.
Rep. Ruben Kihuen (D-NV) is facing calls to resign.
She claimed that he pictures her naked and had "wet dreams" about her.

No sign of Farenthold resigning yet.

Rep. Ruben Kihuen (D-NV) is a freshman lawmaker who is facing calls to resign as well. He has two accusers. One being a former campaign adviser and a congressional staffer.

Rep. Joe Barton (R-TX) has announced he won't seek reelection after another accuser came forth saying that he would send pictures of him in his birthday suit.

The Tears Of A Clown!

Al Franken falls.

Republicans continue to embrace Roy Moore, a candidate who is accused of sexually abusing nine women when they were underage girls.

Trump has thrown his support to him. He also attacked the Democrats for allowing sexual harassment and abuse to run rampant in their party.

Mind you, Trump has 17 accusers. Some of his allies have allegations.

His favorite network Fox News has multiple accusers. The National Enquirer's top editor has allegations.

The issues are straining the Republican Party. The party is really hoping to get Moore seated so he could be the vote to help them pass tax reform.

The Democrats are trying to clean house. They are willing to oust their own.

Tonight there's word that one could be ousted.

There are eight accusers and an embattled Democratic senator is out of allies and may soon be out of a job.

Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) has lost the trust of the Democrats. Most members of the Democrats in the Senate are calling for Franken to resign.
No friends left. Democrats and Republicans want Franken out.
Franken who became a focus of ire when Leeann Tweeden shared a photo of him allegedly groping her. That led to seven other women to come forward with their experiences.

Progressive agitator Tina Dupuy came forward with allegations that Franken groped her during a party at Media Matters for America.

Others were former staffers, constituents, his radio producer, a military officer and talk radio host.

Now the pressure is on.

Minority Leaders, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) have formally denounced Franken. They want him gone.

Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) is saying that Franken is expected to resign.

Franken was a comedian, screenwriter, actor and talk radio agitator. He won the seat in a bitterly fought election. He beat Republican Norm Coleman in a razor thin recount. He won reelection in 2014. He is up for reelection in 2020.

On Thursday, the presser. If he steps down, Democratic Gov. Mark Dayton will appoint his lieutenant governor Tina Smith to finish out his term.

Ironic, Franken and Bill O'Reilly were once the loudest voices in the room.

Now O'Reilly is off television and Franken may soon join him.

Trump Inflames The Middle East!

Trump vows to move U.S. embassy to Jerusalem. He will say Israel owns the city.
You know you got problems when Pope Francis even speaks out against your actions.

Jerusalem is a sacred area to the Christians, Jews, and Muslims. The city is divided by Israel and disputed territory of the West Bank.

Today, Donald J. Trump will announce that he will formally recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

He will also announce the US Embassy will move to Jerusalem.

The Arab League, the United Nations and top intelligence officers are warning that Trump's decision to move the US Embassy in Jerusalem and taking one side only in this debate could strained relations with Middle Eastern countries. Some of the US bases and embassies are located in the Middle East.

Some of these nations could kick the United States off their land.

The Islamic State and Al Qaeda can use this as a rally call to inspire disgruntled Muslims to take action. Many Middle Eastern, African and East Asian nations believe the United States is bigoted towards Muslims.

This move could jeopardize the peace talks with Israeli and Palestinian leaders.

The corruption of Benjamin Netanyahu will haunt Trump. Trump has placed his world view in the hands of a despot who wants eradicate innocent human beings.

The controversial right-wing prime minister has been pushing the United States even closer to global war. Trump and Netanyahu are distrupting hard fought battles. This will bring a turmoil.

Jeff Flake Donated To Doug Jones!

Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) endorses the Democrat for the Alabama senate race.
Well not all Republicans support embattled candidate Roy Moore.

Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) decided to insult the RNC by donating to the Democratic challenger Doug Jones.

The race still favors Moore.

White extremist and former White House adviser Steve Bannon made an appearance. He campaigned for Moore and was ripping into Republicans and Doug Jones in a last ditch effort to drag his ass into victory.

The RNC and Donald J. Trump have thrown their full support to the candidate who is accused of sexually abusing nine women when they were underage teenagers.

Trump says that he rather have a senator that supports his agenda over a candidate who will stop him all the way.
Meeting of the minds.
Flake went to social media to post his donation.

He said, "Country Over Party."

He sent $100 to the campaign.

He joins Mitt Romney and many Republicans who fear the party's potential implosion. For the Republicans to about face on Moore is an insult to women.

It makes it clear that they want victims of sexual abuse to stay silent.

Moore who continues to deny knowing his accusers vows to stay in the race.

Most Republicans believe that Trump and Moore's accusers are lying. The Republicans believe the accusers of Rep. John Conyers (D-MI), Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) and Bill Clinton.

The Republican Party rather put a pedophile in the Senate and yes, the White House.
