After the revelations of the former president having tested positive for the coronavirus and kept going on and being within close range of Joe Biden, the former chief of staff lost favor with him.

Now, Karen Meadows has signalled he will no longer cooperate with the House Select Committee involved in the U.S. Capitol Attack on Jan. 6.

He will likely face a federal sandwich because he refused a federal subpoena.

Meadows, the final chief of staff to Washed Up 45 said he will not cooperate according to his lawyer.

"We agreed to provide thousands of pages of responsive documents and Mr. Meadows was willing to appear voluntarily, not under compulsion of the Select Committee's subpoena to him, for a deposition to answer questions about non-privileged matters. Now actions by the Select Committee have made such an appearance untenable," wrote George J. Terwilliger II.

"In short, we now have every indication from the information supplied to us last Friday - upon which Mr. Meadows could expect ot be questioned -- that the Select Committee has no intention of respecting boundaries concerning Executive Privilege," Terwilliger added.

The friendship is strained.

On Tuesday, the House Select Committee said it will move forward with the scheduled deposition with Meadows despite his refusal. He is facing criminal contempt for failure to provide material documents to a federal subpoena.

There will be other indictments. Three conservative agitators and Sloppy Steve are refusing to provide material to Congress. 

Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS) and Rep. Karen Cheney (R-WY) are not playing games. They have warned those mentioned that you can't invoke executive privilege and failure to appear is criminal.

In a book slated for release, the former chief of staff said that the former president had a positive COVID-19 test in late September. The president dismissed it after getting another test that wasn't accurate. He kept going to event without masks, he engaged in debate prep with many of the far-right allies, held events with Gold Star Families and went to the debate. He showed up late and his family refused to wear a mask while in the audience.

Washed Up 45 was angry over the book and felt that Meadows betrayed him.
