Today another idiot messing around with wild animals. Totally clueless of the outcomes of messing around with wild animals. I've said it before and I stand by what I say: "Wild animals are......well you know!"

Woman decided to climb into an animal enclosure and fed spider monkeys some Flaming Hot Cheetos.

If you want to be a thrill seeker, you might want to get life insurance.

A Texas woman was filmed trying to feed spider monkeys after climbing into an exhibit at the El Paso Zoo.

The video shows the legal clerk known now as Lucy Rae sitting on a rock appearing to throw food at two monkeys. The smiling woman later climbs out of the exhibit. The food was Flaming Hot Cheetos, a spicy corn snack that could upset the primates stomachs. Also the woman could have brought potential COVID-19 infection to the primates.

After footage surfaced on social media, the woman's law firm released a statement saying that she had been fired.

"We learned this morning that the individual who was filmed trespassing in the spider monkey enclosure of the El Paso Zoo was an employee of Lovett Law Firm," the company said Monday. "She has been terminated."

The firm, which did not name the woman, called her behavior "irresponsible and reckless."

"We support the El Paso Zoo and our thoughts go out to the spider monkeys, Libby and Sunday, and hope that they will recover from this very traumatic experience," the statement continued.

She became the butt of ridicule for her stupidity.

The El Paso Zoo and police department did not immediately return a request for comment on Tuesday.

Zoo officials told the El Paso Times that they cannot let the woman's dangerous stunt go unpunished and they plan on pressing charges against her.

"This young lady decided to hop a fence, climb through some bushes, drop down into a four-feet deep moat, walk across the moat and then try to feed the spider monkeys," director Joe Montisano said. "It was stupid."

He said the woman is lucky the situation ended the way it did.

"These are primates. They are strong; they have canine teeth. They can scratch. We don't interact with them on the daily," Montisano told the newspaper. "And we don't interact with them without a barrier in between us." 

Those animals could bite your hand off. The zoo would have to kill them if they attack a human inside the enclosure. Then of course, the victim would have life altering injuries if the primates would react in a violent nature.

Now the zoo is planning on taking steps to prevent intruders from coming into the enclosures.

Montisano said that because of the woman's actions, the zoo might have to get a higher fence around the spider monkey enclosure, which will make it harder for guests to see them.

Spider monkeys are territorial and vicious when cornered. The male can land a bite that take chunks of skin. They also have fangs that penetrate the bone. They are omnivores and often eat fruits, nuts, small birds, insects and lizards.

Some have been raised domestically. But regardless of domesticated or wild, these animals are vicious when they bite.

The world is stupid. Everything for click bait.

Many people pay the price for stupidity.

The incident explain a whole lot of stupidity.

The woman was in her 30s and tried to take a fucking selfie.

Another you can't fix stupid story for you. Again, why would you want to risk your reputation, your job, your health, your freedom, your finances and your life for click bait?

Rules are made for a reason. Rules are there for the safety of yourself and others.

If criminally charged, she could face up to a year in the iron college. Obviously she has a permanent ban from the zoo and may face a vet bill for the animals if they're sick. The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
