Greg Cipes Out At DC And Warner Bros. Animation!

Warner Bros. Discovery and DC Entertainment fires Greg Cipes, the longtime voice of Teen Titans' Beast Boy.

The longtime actor and comedian announced he is experiencing symptoms of Parkinson's Disease.

Greg Cipes for over 20 years have voice notable characters in the DC franchise.

He is best known for playing Beast Boy in the Titan Titans and Teen Titans Go! franchise. Cipes is a singer, actor, podcaster and comedian.

Cipes has also voiced Michelangelo in Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Cipes appeared in televisions shows and host a podcast with voice actress/singer/activist Tara Strong.

Cipes claimed he was fired from Warner Bros. Discovery after revealing Parkinson's Disease symptoms.

Cipes told his followers, “I wanted to take a moment to thank Warner Bros. The studio’s totally got my back. The cast got my back. You all got my back. And I got your back. Whether you have Parkinson’s or any other disease, just know that you’re never, ever alone.”

Art imitates life.

Cipes blames Sam Register for his termination.

Replying to an Instagram post about Cipes’ firing from the Cartoon Network series, the voice actor alleges he was unjustly cut after sharing personal health news.
“Warner Brothers literally fired me on Valentine’s Day right after I publicly shared my Parkinson’s diagnosis,” Cipes said.

In a second comment, he added, “It’s like a death to me that only the fans can bring back to life.”

Other characters Cipes has voiced in his career include Michelangelo in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012), Kevin Levin in the Ben 10 franchise (beginning with Ben 10: Alien Force), Iron Fist in Ultimate Spider-Man, Chiro in Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!, and Splaat from RoboSplaat!.
