In the wake of Donald J. Trump's shocking victory, a lot of celebrities and influencers are leaving X (formerly Twitter).

Don Lemon, the former CNN host and former X influencer has officially ended his time with the platform.

Notable includes Patricia Arquette, Carrie Preston, Jamie Lee Curtis, Bette Midler, Nicolle Wallace, Lizzo, Jim Carrey, Whoopi Goldberg, Stephen King, NPR and CBC.

Trump will be appointing Vivek Ramaswamy, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Elon Musk to his cabinet. Trump and the picks are billionaires. Musk is the owner of X, Space X and Tesla.

Jack Dorsey and Mark Zuckerberg have launched competitors to X.

Dorsey has launched BlueSky and is hoping to bring the magic back.

Jamie Lee Curtis had enough. She is officially off X.

Meta launched Threads which is growing in popularity.

Dorsey is rarely on X and Zuckerberg has not posted on X since the launch of Threads.

Trump who also owns Truth Social has started posting on X since mid-2024.

Musk reinstated the @realdonaldtrump after X banned it in 2021. 

X has helped far right agitators promote Trumpism and the president-elect.

X is a cesspool of disinformation, adult entertainment, spambots, stupid mobile phone games, shock videos, gore videos and Elon Musk.

Trump might merge Truth Social with X in the future once his term ends.
