O Brings The A Game For Kamala!

Opramala.

The last time Oprah Winfrey got seriously involved in the presidential campaign was in 2007 and 2008 when she endorsed a Chicago senator who had a funny name but a powerful voice. A man who came to prominence in 2004 when he spoke at the Democratic National Convention in 2004 to endorse then Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts when he took on the juggernaut of George W. Bush, the 43rd President of the United States.

Barack Hussein Obama and Michelle LaVaughn Obama became household names.

The first African American president and first African American first lady.

The most popular Democrats by far. Oprah endorsed Obama for president and it took off.

Now in 2024, Oprah is back and she is hitting out on the campaign trail for the first African American vice president. She is determined to see Kamala Harris become the first woman, second African American and first Asian American president.

Vice President Kamala sat down with Oprah Winfrey for a townhall and voter registration drive.

Dubbed "Unite for America 2024," the two will appear together on stage in front of a studio audience comprised of local voters. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is expected to attend as well. Other Harris supporters from around the country from groups like Mamas for Kamala, White Dudes for Harris, and Progressives for Harris, will appear virtually.

The two are expected to discuss the stakes in this year's election and the importance of voting.

Michigan is a very crucial state for Harris. President Joe Biden carried it as a 2020 Democratic nominee by 1.5 points. Former president Donald J. Trump carried it as the 2016 Republican nominee by 1 point.

Harris is facing a mutiny from Arab American and Muslim voters. Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) will not endorse her for president but urges voters to not vote for Trump or Green Party presumptive nominee Jill Stein. Harris and her stance on Israel has been a stinging point for Democrats.

She gonna need Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Dick Cheney, George Will, Stephanie Grisham, Michael Cohen, Alberto Gonzalez, Stormy Daniels, Charlie Dent, John Kasich, Cindy McCain, Anthony Scaramucci, Barbara Comstack, Ray LaHood, Chuck Hagel and other Republicans to carry her because clearly she lost points with progressives.

It was a once in a lifetime event. Many celebrities came to support Harris.

Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lopez, Ben Stiller, Tracee Ellis Ross, Chris Rock and others endorsed Harris.
