To take his mind off the New York indictment, the former president goes to UFC 287 in Miami. He was greeted by his biggest allies. His allies are controversial.

It's been reported that UFC and WWE are merging. Endeavor will own a 51% stake in the new combat sports and entertainment company, while WWE shareholders will have the remaining 49%, according to the terms of the agreement. The deal values WWE at $9.3 billion and UFC, which is owned by Endeavor, at $12.1 billion, the companies said in a press release.

Washed Up 45 got a rousing cheer down in Florida as he appeared as a ringside commentator.

The former president was in the audience at the Kaseya Center to watch the main event of Israel Adesanya versus Alex Pereira and the fight between the vocal Washed Up 45 supporter Jorge Masvidal and Gilbert Burns.

Jorge Masvidal led a "Let's go Brandon" chant after he announced his retirement.

Masvidal praised Washed Up 45 from inside the ring, pointing at him and saying: "Greatest president in the history of the world, I love that guy."

Masvidal also praised Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Washed Up 45's greatest political rival, and started a "let's go Brandon" chant in a dig at President Joe Biden.

At one point, the UFC fighter Kevin Holland came over to speak with the former president from the cage after beating Santiago Ponzinibbio.
