The legendary Ted Williams, the man with golden voice has a podcast and platform on social media.
From the bottom to the top, Ted was at his bottom.
At the exit ramp at Interstate 71 and Hudson Avenue in Columbus, Ohio, Ted was a homeless and addicted to crack. It was a person who gave a few dollars and a chance to get back into the limelight. In 2011, his life was given a jolt.
His voice shocked the world and everyone was amazed to hear a professional sounding voice homeless.
He quicky gained fame and was seen on every market in the world. He was sought from all angles and it literally almost shattered because of the fame.
He still struggled to overcome addiction and mental illness.
For the first time in almost 20 years, Williams found himself steadily working. He co-authored A Golden Voice: How Faith, Hard Work, and Humility Brought Me from the Streets to Salvation with Bret Witter. He is the founder of the Ted Williams Project, a non-profit organization serving homeless shelters.
