Boebert Barely Won!

Take the job seriously or prepare for another challenge.

Far right lawmaker barely survived a strong challenge from a Democrat. He signalled he may challenge her again though.

Since 2014, she has been the [poster child] for populism and noise. She gained attention when ABC News did an interview of her running her former gun-themed restaurant in Rifle, Colorado. At the time, she was this blonde haired, holster wearing chick who flirted with guests who wanted a meal.

Her restaurant "Shooters Grill" was a stop for the far right minions and she often catered to them.

When the pandemic came, she refused to close her business which led to numerous violations and shutdowns. She took her fight to Denver to protest Gov. Jared Polis and his policies. Then of course, she found her love for Washed Up 45.

He didn't endorse her in 2020. He endorsed Scott Tipton, a conservative lawmaker who votes with the party and the former president 94% of the time. She took that and used it against him. She said that he's in favor of keeping things closed and sided with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) in closing businesses. It helped propel her to winning the nomination and soon the seat.

The Western Slope region will have Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) for another term. Adam Frisch had conceded to the controversial noise maker. She breathes a sigh of relief.

Frisch decided to no longer pursue the recount due to the expenses his campaign will have to fork over.

Boebert on her part is defiant. She stated that once the Republicans take control on day one, she will waste no time going after President Joe Biden's policies and work with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and the Freedumb Caucus on impeachment.

Frisch, a moderate to conservative leaning opponent said that Boebert spent most of her term outside her district and never focusing on the needs of Western Colorado. It is proven that every time she's appeared it's either at Mar-a-Lago, the U.S.-Mexican border and Fox.

Frisch said that she is part of the "angertainment" that voters are getting tired of.

He may run against her again. Adam Frisch warned Boebert that she better not ignore the district.

Boebert had called Frisch the definition of Nancy Pelosi's "yes men." Obviously, not focusing on the district and the slope having a severe drought and the Colorado River is not as mighty as it was years prior.

"The likelihood of this recount changing more than a handful of votes is very small," Frisch said in a news conference streamed on his Facebook page, adding that he did not want to raise money from supporters for an effort that would not succeed.

Boebert's victory gives Republicans 219 seats compared to 212 for Democrats, according to Edison Research, with four races still too close to call.

Boebert rose to prominence in 2020 when she refused to close her gun-themed restaurant in accordance with Colorado's COVID-19 restrictions, endearing her to many in a mostly rural district in southwestern Colorado where opposition to government efforts to contain the pandemic ran high.

Boebert actually feared that she would lose her race. The iconic picture of her and supporters looking depressed will be a historical moment in history.

The lawmaker better take this win as a cautionary flag. She better focus on the district or pay the price in 2024. So I hope Adam Frisch decides to run again.
