Republicans Are Trying To Take Back Student Loan Forgiveness!

I know these Republicans ain't gonna take away student debt relief.

Seriously, Republicans want to take away debt relief from millions of Americans. That means their voters who go to college and have federal loan debt. Those who want to be future insurrectionists are being told that they must pay for the debt.

Six Republican-led states are suing the Biden administration in an effort to halt the student loan debt forgiveness plan for millions of Americans. The states leading this farce are Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, South Carolina and Arkansas.

Arkansas leds the lawsuit.

Biden said in August he will forgive up to $20,000 in education debt for a huge number of borrowers. The announcement, after months of internal deliberations and pressure from liberal activists, became political fodder ahead of the November midterms while fueling arguments from conservatives about legality.

The lawsuit brought to federal court by these states says that the debt cancellation plan is "not remotely tailored to address the effects of the pandemic on federal student loan borrowers," as required by the 2003 federal law that the administration is using as legal justification.

Biden's student debt forgiveness plan will cancel up to $10,000 for student loan debt for those making less than $125,000 and those who make up to $250,000 will have $20,000 student loan debt cancelled.

Some Democrats like Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH) have criticized the plan and seriously believes that it may impact his chances at taking the open senate seat. He is a competitive race against Moron Vance, a venture fund capitalist who moved to Ohio from San Francisco.

Republicans gave a huge tax break to billionaires and raise the national debt.

The poor and middle class need a break. The Republicans go crazy because it was not their idea and they don't want to give the Democratic president a win. They want Americans to pull themselves by the boot straps while they keep stripping away the safety net.
