Black Dems: Unfollow Shaun King, David Hogg And AOC!

It's time to end the partnership with celebrity activists.

We must do everything in our power to protect women's rights, voting rights, LGBTQ rights and democracy. In order to do this, we must vote. We must ignore the noise.

Ignore the noise.

Vote.

Democracy is on the line and Republicans seem posed to reclaim Congress if we just sit it out and allow the noise to drown out the turnout.

It is time to stop following celebrity activism. It is time to stop following David Hogg, Cameron Kasky, Jeffrey Shaun King, Andrew Yang, Marc Lamont Hill, Talbert Swan, Nina Turner, Tariq Nasheed, Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) on Twitter and other platforms. They are trying depress turnout and give credence to Republicans who could win in the Midterms.

Culture wars have become the latest strategy for Republicans. They have scapegoated issues to a base of white nationalists who are ready to vote to "own the libs."

With a razor thin majority in the House and Senate, there are only six seats and one senate flip for the Republicans to control Congress. The moment they get into power, they will pass a ban on abortions, instigate (Christian-fascism) as religious freedom, allow more firearms in the hands of extremists, ban books because it made them upset, make marriage between a man and woman the rule of law and force mandatory voter restrictions on American voters.

Because of two Democrats in the Senate, legislation stalled or slowly pushed through. If Republicans win back Congress, they will end the filibuster to ram through legislation and impeach President Joe Biden because of conspiracies about Hunter Biden.

David Hogg, the survivor of the Marjory Douglas Stoneman mass shooting in Florida has riled up Democrats. He literally stated that Democrats need to be more aggressive like the Republicans when they took in conservatives, religious zealots and racists.

It appears that many of these folks are doing their best to depress the vote.

It was also revealed that King had used donor funds to get an expensive dog and training for it.

King tried Tuesday to justify his reported $40,000 purchase of a hulking guard dog as protection from “white supremacists” — but failed to explain why his progressive political action committee picked up the tab.

King also railed against strict gun control laws in New York and New Jersey, insisting they kept him from arming himself to protect his wife and kids from death threats purportedly made by “police, military snipers and white supremacist groups.”

“I have to say some things that I’ve worked hard to keep private for the safety and security of my family,” he began his statement.

It's time for Black America to end this partnership with these agitators. Don't fund them. Don't allow them to be the face of activism in this country.
