Jan. 6 Committee Continues!

This next hearing will deal with the former president trying to push DOJ to help him win his election.

Today is the Jan. 6 hearing. This will be the last hearing for the month. The House Select Committee investigating the attack on the U.S. Capitol is planning on resuming its session in July.

On Tuesday, Americans listen to testimony from Republican state officials and a Georgia mother and daughter.

The testimonies were pretty heartbreaking. They said that Washed Up 45 as well as his minions made life miserable for them.

The former president continued to push the lie that the election was stolen from him and he tried to pressure Republicans to overturn the results.

He failed in the court. 

He failed to pressure someone to literally commit an illegal act.

He failed at getting his supporters to successful to destroy the electoral count ballots during the Senate's special session.

Washed Up 45 continues to push misinformation about what sparked the attack on the U.S. Capitol. The whole incident led to his second impeachment which the Republican senators failed to convict.

The testimonies of today's hearing will discuss former Justice Department officials were told by his lawyers to push forward a lie that immigrants were voting, urban areas had misconduct and Democrats threatened Republican poll workers.

It was a hodge podge of conspiracy theories and violent threat.

Now it reported that the committee members are getting extra protection after the last testimony. 

The session will be held around 3pm.
