Florida Police Arrest Arsonist Who Set Circle K Clerk On Fire!

Arsonist sets a gas station clerk on fire.

It does not look good for the victim of a Pensacola, FL Circle K. 

She was severely burned by a homeless woman after a confrontation outside. The suspect was panhandling and harassing customers.

The victim, Joie Hellmich told the suspect to leave the property or have the police called. 

The suspect was told to leave. She returned the next time with a cup of gasoline and a match.

The suspect tossed gasoline on the victim and lit the match. 

She was severely burned and a co worker was burned trying to save her. The Escambia County sheriff described the victim's injuries as “serious, horrific, (and) life-threatening.”

The deputies said the suspect “calmly walked out of the store” and was located a few blocks away.

Detectives told The Pensacola News Journal there were multiple witnesses to the attack, which was also captured by security cameras inside the store.

The victim may not survive. She has two children.

The family of the store clerk who was attacked identified her said she is a mother of two and she is in critical but stable condition at a hospital. In a statement sent to WEAR the family said, “We heard the news from a good Samaritan who called us from scene. He was not the only angel at the scene and we are profoundly grateful for the people who acted with nothing short of true heroism yesterday.”

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The suspect is facing attempted murder, arson and disorderly conduct. The charges could put her in the iron college for life.
