We Got 40 Republicans Running For Something! We Are The Party Of Blacks!

Washed Up 45 and Karen Donalds (left), a U.S. House member.

Stuck on stupid. The Republican Party is the party of white nationalism. It is wrapped in misinformation and culture wars.

"We currently have a record number of Black Republicans running for office and winning at all levels. Over 40 Black Republicans are running in GOP primaries for both local and federal office. #BlackHistoryMonth."

The very party that opposed the first Black president. Barack Obama is the first African American president. He was nominated twice by the Democratic Party and elected twice by the American people. He won the electoral college and popular vote. He is the only African American to be president.

The same party that opposes the current vice president who is a Black woman. Kamala Harris is the current Vice President of the United States. She is the first woman to become the vice president and first African American to be vice president. She was nominated as a Democrat. Previously, she was the first Black U.S. senator from California.

About 245,000 Blacks vote Republican.

The same party that opposes the current president's Supreme Court nominee who is a Black woman. President Joe Biden is expected to pick an African American woman as his pick. He will pick a federal judge as his Supreme Court nominee. The Republicans will oppose it.

The same party that wants to making voting harder for people of color.

The same party that wants to ban the teaching of critical race theory and ban books that tell the dark truth of America.

So the Republican National Committee is saying that 40 African Americans are running for local and federal office. Of the thousands of elected offices, only a mere 40 Black Republicans. So 40 out of over 7,500 officials around the country isn't exactly the best number. In fact, it's just .533% of all GOP candidates who are Black, according to those numbers.

That is less than 0.01% of the U.S. voting electorate. I mean that's really bad.

There is just one Black Republican senator and two Black US representatives in Congress.

And their constituency is just as homogeneous. Around the country, the GOP is mostly white, and includes a majority of non-college educated white people and rural Southerners.

The Republican Party is mostly 89% white, 6% Hispanic, 2% Asian, 2% African American and 1% Native American.
