The fifth album from Philadelphia rapper and activist Meek Mill is released. It's called Expensive Pain and the rapper is bringing in the A-list to this album.

The rapper mentioned the album, cover art and release date back in September. He revealed his tracklist on September 30, the day before the album was released.

Meek Mill returns to the charts.

The rapper releases the album on Atlantic Records with association of Maybach Music Group, Dreamchasers Records and RocNation. Meek Mill is the executive producer of this album.

On the album he has 18 tracks with production from Cardo, JJ, Yex, Fuse808, Nick Papz, KJ, Svdominik, Xander, DZL, Austin Powerz, Sav, Boi-1da, AT, Gebrelul, Emkay, Tay Keith, Vinylz, Dato, Amore, Dougie, Bkron, Sevn Thomas, Brent Faiyaz, Paperboy Fabe, L3gion, 30 Roc and Datboi Squeeze.

Features on the album include Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Brent Faiyaz, Lil Uzi Vert, Vory, Young Thug, Kehlani, ASAP Ferg, Moneybagg Yo and Giggs.

Meek Mill has an open feud with his label and former mentor Rick Ross. The rapper has been going at the media mogul because of allegations of disloyalty and not backing him during the feuds with Drake and Wale. The allegations of the two pulling firearms on one another at one point.

Meek celebrated his 34th birthday at LIV nightclub in Miami. While 6ix9ine was banned from entering the club, Meek’s own MMG boss was also reportedly not welcome at the birthday bash and was denied entry to Meek’s section.

This album could be Meek Mill's final release under Maybach Music Group. At one time, Meek Mill was the most notable talent on MMG but things changed when he went to the iron college.

Meek had grown up and devoted his life to doing good. He is on the frontlines of demanding police reform in the United States. He is allegedly trying to meet President Joe Biden and push him to it done.
