A global pandemic, wildfires, destruction from the hurricanes and of course, gridlock in Washington, DC are the primary factors to the disappointing jobs report. But of course, we'll be focused on the negative job approval of President Joe Biden.

So the latest polls have Biden under 50% job approval. The junk food media spent weeks covering Afghanistan and it's pullout. When the last American forces left, we've moved on back to the actual issues we're facing. A destructive hurricane landed in Louisiana and it left a path of destruction all the way into the Northeast.

Over 1,000 people have died from Hurricane Ida. Businesses are destroyed. Homes are destroyed.

We also have the pandemic which is not ending. With misinformation being peddled by the far-right, Republican leaders and Washed Up 45, Americans are refusing to get vaccinated. Those who are not getting vaccinated are catching the delta strain of the coronavirus. The strain is proving to be more lethal than the original. Four far-right agitators on talk radio died.

We have over 675,000 Americans dead from the coronavirus. By mid-September we will surpass 700,000 deaths. The refusal to get vaccinated or using untested medication is causing death.

The folks who refuse to get vaccinated are using an treatment that isn't even safe. The use of Ivermectin has spiked because of idiots on radio and the internet are telling folks this is a "fast treatment."

Congress job approval is at record lows.

This treatment is not safe says the FDA. But the anti-government, anti-Biden, anti-mask, anti-vaxx folks will do it anyway.

The Karens in Texas passed a law that outlawed terminations of fetuses at six weeks. The Supreme Court refused to halt the legislation and it set up another fight in which Congress will have no chance of getting it passed. The infrastructure bill is slowly being dragged along. The Squad, the independent senator from Vermont, the Democratic senator from Arizona and the West Virginia Democratic senator are going to cause the bill to fail because of their ridiculous principles.

The far-right are obsessed with Vice President Kamala Harris' laughter. They are playing on sexism and racism when they're dealing with the first African American/South Asian woman to be the vice president.

They are calling Biden incompetent because he pulled out of Afghanistan. A war that's been ignored for over five years since Barack Obama left office. Washed Up 45 negotiated a deal for the American troops to pull out of the country by May 1. Biden honored it. During the time, the Taliban's propaganda won over residents. They forced the corrupted leaders out of Afghanistan and took back power. The far-right and war hawks in the junk food media were calling Biden's withdrawal a failure. Some Republicans who have more concern over issues in Afghanistan and Israel are calling for Biden's impeachment.

The insurrection is still an issues. Republicans are threatening media and telecom companies. They fear the House Committee on the insurrection will unearth potentially criminal acts being done by a handful of these idiot lawmakers. The QAnon Leader Karen McCarthy (R-CA) threatened to hold those companies accountable if they decide to follow the subpoena. Rep. Karen Cheney (R-WY) and Rep. Karen Kinzinger (R-IL) have backed the committee and are determined to get to the bottom of the insurrection. Republicans are threatening to kick them out of the conference for being appointed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

We have went from "Biden's Bad Week" to "Biden's Border Crisis" to "Biden's Socialist Deal" to "Biden's Failures In Afghanistan" to "Biden's Bad Job Numbers" in less than seven months of this presidency.

So CNBC reports that the jobs report missed the anticipated mark. The unemployment rate drops though. Here's a factor, no one wants to work for less than $13 dollars an hour. No one wants to deal with idiots who refuse to follow CDC mandates. No one wants to subjected to hostilities from Americans who are willing to spread the coronavirus. Most Americans want a fair pay and fair living.

COVID-19 is affecting the unvaccinated and children.

Job creation for August was a huge disappointment, with the economy adding just 235,000 positions, the Labor Department reported Friday.

Economists surveyed by Dow Jones had been looking for 720,000 new hires.

The unemployment rate dropped to 5.2% from 5.4%, in line with estimates.

August’s total — the worst since January — comes with heightened fears of the pandemic and the impact that rising Covid cases could have on what has been a mostly robust recovery. The weak report could cloud policy for the Federal Reserve, which is weighing whether to pull back on some of the massive stimulus it has been adding since the outbreak in early 2020.

“The labor market recovery hit the brakes this month with a dramatic showdown in all industries,” said Daniel Zhao, senior economist at jobs site Glassdoor. “Ultimately, the Delta variant wave is a harsh reminder that the pandemic is still in the driver’s seat, and it controls our economic future.”

Leisure and hospitality jobs, which had been the primary driver of overall gains at 350,000 per month for the past six months, stalled in August as the unemployment rate in the industry ticked higher to 9.1%.

Instead, professional and business services led with 74,000 new positions. Other gainers included transportation and warehousing (53,000), private education (40,000) and manufacturing and other services, which each posted gains of 37,000.

Retail lost 29,000, with the bulk coming from food and beverage stores, which saw a decrease of 23,000.

The report comes with the U.S. seeing about 150,000 new Covid cases, spurring worries that the recovery could stall heading into the final part of the year.

“Delta is the story in this report,” said Marvin Loh, global macro strategist for State Street. “It’s going to be a bumpy recovery in the jobs market and one that pushes back against a more optimistic narrative.”

The month saw an increase of about 400,000 in those who said they couldn’t work for pandemic-related reasons, pushing the total up to 5.6 million.

“Today’s jobs report reflects a major pullback in employment growth likely due to the rising impact of the Delta variant of COVID-19 on the U.S. economy, though August is also a notoriously difficult month to survey accurately due to vacations,” said Tony Bedikian, head of global markets at Citizens.

Employment also remained well below pre-Covid levels, with 5.6 million fewer workers holding jobs and the total workforce still smaller by 2.9 million.

Another key Fed metric, the employment-to-population gauge, stood at 58.5%, up one-tenth of a percentage point from July but still well below the 61.1% pre-pandemic level. The measure looks at total jobholders against the working-age population.

Unemployment is due to the coronavirus.

August’s numbers have been volatile in past years and often see substantial revisions. They come amid other positive signs for employment.

Weekly jobless filings have fallen to their lowest levels since the early days of the pandemic in March 2020, but a large employment gap remains.

It’s not that there aren’t enough jobs out there: Placement firm Indeed estimates that there are about 10.5 million openings now, easily a record for the U.S. labor market.

Fed officials are watching the jobs numbers closely for clues as to whether they can start easing back some of the policy help they’ve been providing since the pandemic started.

In recent weeks, central bank leaders have expressed optimism about the employment picture but said they would need to see continued strength before changing course. At stake for now is the Fed’s massive monthly bond-buying program, which could start getting scaled back before the end of the year.

However, if the jobs data gets softer, that could prompt Fed officials to wait until 2022 before tapering its purchases. Fed officials have been clear that interest rate hikes will come well after tapering starts.

Still, the news wasn’t all bad for jobs.

The previous two months saw substantial upward revisions, with July’s total now at 1.053 million, up from the original estimate of 943,000, while June was bumped up to 962,000 from 938,000. For the two months, revisions added 134,000 to the initial counts.

Also, wages continued to accelerate, rising 4.3% on a year-over-year basis and 0.6% on a monthly basis. Estimates had been for 4% and 0.3% respectively.

An alterative measure of unemployment that includes discouraged workers and those holding part-time jobs for economic reasons fell sharply, dropping to 8.9% in August from 9.6% in July.

The labor force participation rate was unchanged at 61.7%, still well below the 63.3% in February 2020, the month before the pandemic declaration.

Food prices, energy prices, rent, city services and college education have risen. Companies are struggling to find workers. They are now trying to push incentives to get workers in.

Things are returning back to normal. Over 78% of Americans have at least gotten one of the coronavirus vaccines.

However, they are struggling trying to hire employees. With the average wages stagnant, many are not looking forward to returning to a job that pays dirt wages. Many who worked in the retail, restaurant and low end service industry are not willing to take a job for less than $10 an hour.

Republicans don't see the bigger picture itself. They rather continue to believe in conspiracies about people collecting the safety net and not going back to work.

Give them a liveable wage and maybe things might improve in the job market.

Yes. We can't always assume that folks are lazy.

Many single mothers are having trouble trying to find quality daycare or family members to watch children. On top of that, some have lost family members due to the pandemic. A homemaker may have lost their spouse. Some may have no choice but to watch their children or loved ones due to the aftermath of the pandemic.

Folks are still trying to rebound from medical bills, late rent payments, owing taxes and college loans.

Republicans are white nationalists without a conscience. Washed Up 45's presidency and Republican controlled governments led us to losing over 620,000 Americans. President Joe Biden has a four seat House majority and a spilt in the Senate.

Holding these lawmakers accountable is not just a pledge, but a promise. You need to learn who represents your community. Your local councilman, your mayor, your state representative, your state senator, your governor, your U.S. Representative, your U.S. Senator and the president need to be held accountable for their actions.

We need to put pressure on Republicans and Democrats to do something to improve everyone's lives.
