American singer Tank is getting huge flack for posting an anti-vaxx video on his social media.
The entertainer who is partially deaf says that folks have overhyped the pandemic. Back in May, the singer announced in an emotional Instagram post that he’s “going completely deaf” in his right ear and losing hearing in his left.
“So I’m going through something right now, and I want to use my situation to encourage your situation,” he said in the video before sharing the news. The musician and actor said he’s also suffering from dizziness and “can’t walk a straight line.”
The 45-year-old, who has written music for Aaliyah, Jamie Foxx and Keyshia Cole, said the diagnosis seemed to come “out of nowhere,” and he’s been seeing doctors and taking medication since.
“It still hasn’t given me a reason to give up,” he continued, hoping his resilience in light of the news could be an inspiration. The “When We” singer promised to keep his fans updated with developments in his treatment. “Imma document the process just to show you the fight.”

Tank has received five Grammy nominations over his career, including an R&B album nod in 2007 for “Sex, Love & Pain.” The album’s titular song, along with “Force of Nature” and “This Is How I Feel,” hit the top 10 on the Billboard 200 list.

We have lost over 650,000 Americans to the coronavirus with the delta and lambda strain becoming more dominate in the country. The coronavirus pandemic hasn't slowed down. Thanks to the misinformation from far-right agitators and conspiracy theorists, folks are not willing to vaccinated.
The "breakthrough" infection among vaccinated people are rare. But it's growing. The top health officials warned Wednesday that vaccines are showing diminishing effectiveness over time, and recommended Americans get booster shots eight months after their last shot.
Of course, there's folks who are fully vaccinated but end up getting the coronavirus. As with vaccines, nothing is 100%. The vaccines are capable of preventing the coronavirus. At best, it's a 94% prevention rate which means 1 out of 500 could be infected even if they're vaccinated.
President Joe Biden had hopes that Americans would take this shit seriously. Unfortunately, Republicans so fucking eager to return to power will keep Americans fixated on the culture wars. Now vaccinations are part of this culture war.
But those fighting the culture war by not vaccinating, not wearing face mask in public, not following protocols, and deliberately ignoring federal and international rules when traveling are going to be the first casualties of the war.
With this pandemic mostly affecting states where Republican governors are, we may have to return to wearing facial protection and cutting back services to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.
We came so far only to have a bunch of selfish idiots set it back. Just because they hate President Joe Biden.
The Republicans are so devoted to destroying Biden and the country for what....to regain power.

According to the CDC, there is still not enough information on antibodies for COVID-19 and whether they can prevent someone from getting reinfected. It still recommends that people with a positive antibody test follow recommendations for protecting themselves and others.
The coronavirus doesn't care about your age, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, politics, economic or social standings. It doesn't care about anything. It's a living organism that causes mild symptoms that include: fever, sore throats, chills, respiratory issues, loss of taste or smell and other unknown symptoms. If you have a weak immune system or health issues, your risk increases.
Death does happen to at least 40% of those who are affected by COVID-19.
If you're not vaccinated, your chances of death increases to 48%.
Healthy people can die from this. Take this seriously. You only have one life!
