Daytona Beach, Florida talk radio host Karen Bernier passed away from complications of COVID-19.
The far-right agitator who said he wouldn't get vaccinated has died. The third on-air personality who voiced skepticism about getting the shot passed away this month.
The 65-year old agitator who dubbed himself, "Mr. Anti-Vaxx" died after three weeks of fighting the coronavirus.
"It's with great sadness that WNDB and Southern Stone Communications announce the passing of Karen Bernier, who informed and entertained listeners on WNDB for over 30 years," his flagship station tweeted on social media.
"We kindly ask that privacy is given to Marc's family during this time of grief."
The Rhode Island native was initially hospitalized on August 7. The agitator's guests said that his anti-vaccination views were based on how he believed vaccines impacted other close to him -- rather than politics.
On December 19, about a week after Pfizer's vaccine received emergency use authorization, a co-host asked Bernier if he planned on getting the jab.
"I'm not taking it," he said. "Are you kidding me? Mr. Anti-Vax? Jeepers."
Republican sheriff of Volusia County Mike Chitwood said Bernier's death had him hard.

This marks the third conservative agitator to die of the coronavirus. The other idiots who died were Karen Farrel, a former Newsmax host turned talk radio agitator and the nationally syndicated Karen Valentine who made a mock song called, "Mr. Vaxman."
Valentine was the only idiot to repent for his ignorance. His family told the junk food media, that he wished he didn't mock Biden's handling of the coronavirus. Now he paid the price and his wife and two sons are with him.
So much for that "freedom."

Although the coronavirus vaccines can prevent transmission and hospitalization, the virulent Delta variant has been the source of a small proportion of "breakthrough" cases that can affect older and immunocompromised people.
Of course, there's folks who are fully vaccinated but end up getting the coronavirus. As with vaccines, nothing is 100%. The vaccines are capable of preventing the coronavirus. At best, it's a 94% prevention rate which means 1 out of 500 could be infected even if they're vaccinated.
President Joe Biden had hopes that Americans would take this shit seriously. Unfortunately, Republicans so fucking eager to return to power will keep Americans fixated on the culture wars. Now vaccinations are part of this culture war.
But those fighting the culture war by not vaccinating, not wearing face mask in public, not following protocols, and deliberately ignoring federal and international rules when traveling are going to be the first casualties of the war.
With this pandemic mostly affecting states where Republican governors are, we may have to return to wearing facial protection and cutting back services to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.
We came so far only to have a bunch of selfish idiots set it back. Just because they hate President Joe Biden.

According to the CDC, there is still not enough information on antibodies for COVID-19 and whether they can prevent someone from getting reinfected. It still recommends that people with a positive antibody test follow recommendations for protecting themselves and others.
The coronavirus doesn't care about your age, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, politics, economic or social standings. It doesn't care about anything. It's a living organism that causes mild symptoms that include: fever, sore throats, chills, respiratory issues, loss of taste or smell and other unknown symptoms. If you have a weak immune system or health issues, your risk increases.
Death does happen to at least 40% of those who are affected by COVID-19.
If you're not vaccinated, your chances of death increases to 62%.
Healthy people can die from this. Take this seriously. You only have one life!
