President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were at the White House today. They were hosting the Superbowl LV champions, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The team defeated the Kansas City Chiefs. The score was 31-9. 

This was a historical first. The winning team played the Superbowl at their home stadium. The Buccaneers played at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The team also hired a famed quarterback to their roster. 

Tom Brady, 43 is one of the oldest players in the NFL. Still one of the highest paid and still one the greatest. Rob Gronkowski, 32 came out of retirement to play with Brady. The two were once a part of the New England Patriots. The first time two winning members of a remarkable NFL team winning the Superbowl ring at rival team.

It was a historical game. We also had a historical election in which a three time presidential candidate finally won the nomination and the election. He defeated an incumbent president who was slightly favored to win. The incumbent was a former reality television star and business mogul. He was well known for his namesake. He was wrapped in controversy. He never had favorable ratings. He was a conspiracy theorist. He was toxic and whatever he said on social media was the news. To this day, he continues to spill bullshit about him being robbed of the win. 

Nevertheless, his opponent is quietly repairing a divided nation. 

Biden picked a woman of color as his running mate. He is a former vice president under Barack Obama and former U.S. senator from Delaware. Since he was a running mate of a political ticket he won twice. He won his U.S. senate race and was vice president-elect.

Brady is a seven time Superbowl champion. He knows there's lots of people who just hate his ass. 

Brady joked that his Tampa Bay Buccaneers had something in common with President Joe Biden on Tuesday.

About 40% of Americans didn't want us to win.

The Bucs visited the White House on Tuesday to celebrate their Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs. When Brady was at the podium, he mentioned how few people thought the Buccaneers could win. And then got in a joke about the people who continue to incorrectly believe that Biden didn't win the November presidential election. 

"Not a lot of people think that we could have won," Brady said. "In fact, I think about 40% of the people still don't think we won."

"I understand that," Biden quickly replied.

"You understand that, Mr. President?" Brady then asked.

The quip from Brady is sure to displease Washed Up 45, a man who continues to falsely claim that Biden's win over him in November was somehow a product of a rigged election full of voter fraud. The former president has long counted Brady as a friend and said that Brady called him to congratulate him after he won the 2016 presidential election. Brady also had a MAGA hat in his New England Patriots locker when the washed up entertainer first started running for president. 

Brady has been relatively tight-lipped about his relationship with the former president in recent years — his wife Gisele Bundchen asked him to not talk politics in 2016 — as Washed Up 45 became the most polarizing president in decades. Brady said in April that the former president had wanted him to speak at the 2016 Republican National Convention, an invitation that he declined.
