Entering the Summer of grilling, vacations and a global pandemic.

The U.S. Department of Labor released its jobs numbers for the month of June. It appears that 850,000 jobs were added to the economy, although adjusted.

It's the biggest job gains since Washed Up 45 was in office.

The hospitality and leisure sector grew the strongest, having the most ground to cover after a pandemic destroyed many of the restaurant, hotel and service industry.

CNN reports that the number of education jobs also surged in June. Local government hiring jumped 155,000 jobs, state government jobs increased by 75,000, and private education.

Good news often comes with a tad bit of bad news.

Things are slowly returning back to normal. However, we still have this little thing called the pandemic still plaguing the United States. Many states held by Republican governors have continued a slow push to getting Americans vaccinated.

This DELTA strain of the COVID-19 has killed over 25,000 Americans. We're moving towards 640,000 Americans killed by the pandemic. With the pandemic also comes the dangerous of infrastructure.

The Champlain Towers collapse happened last week and it may have taken over 170 lives. Due to Republicans and their need to relentlessly cut regulations led to a man-made disaster.

The mask mandates are over. Some governors are resorting to vaccination lotteries and giveaways for those to get vaccinated.

Nevertheless, June was a "bright" jobs report, even though there is still plenty to worry about, wrote Kate Bahn, interim chief economist at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth, in a tweet. It "just means it's good foundation to grow," she added.

America's once-strong labor market is still far from being back to normal, down 6.8 million jobs compared with February 2020. According to the report, 6.2 million people reported that they didn't work at all or worked less because their employer had been affected by the pandemic.

Most Americans aren't willing to work for scraps. Congress needs to pass a liveable wage.

While the labor force participation rate was unchanged at 61.6%, the number of people quitting their jobs voluntarily to look for another position jumped by 164,000 to 942,000 in June -- the highest level since November 2016.

It might seem counter-intuitive, but this actually could be a sign of worker empowerment: people who had few alternatives during the height of the pandemic, might be reconsidering their workplace now. And workers might take more time deciding on taking a job right now.

Normally, workers who quit their jobs aren't eligible for benefits. But the pandemic has changed the rules slightly, making certain circumstances -- such as child care issues or health conditions -- reasons that some benefits can stay in place.

It's a tale of a job market in imbalance: Employers are struggling to attract and retain staff as the reopening spurred a hiring surge, because some workers are still not ready to return to work. Many fear infection, or worry about adequate care for their children or elderly relatives.

All of this is creating an unprecedented mismatch between worker supply and demand.

It's also what's behind the recent increase in hourly earnings, as companies are upping pay to keep staff. Average hourly earnings rose by 10 cents to $30.40 in June, a slightly smaller increase than in the prior two months.

While many economists rejected claims that pandemic-era jobless benefits are keeping people comfortably at home and away from work, a number of states have cut the special programs ahead of the September deadline.

But that didn't move the needle much in June yet. Early data from states that ended those programs shows that the move didn't push workers to resume their job searches, said Cailin Birch, global economist at The Economist Intelligence Unit, in emailed comments.

Once all 50 states phase out the benefits in September, there could be a noticeable effect, she said. Benefits expire in 26 states by the end of July.

"More than this, however, we expect an additional few months of economic growth, more progress on Covid vaccinations and the resumption of in-person education in September to be the main factors driving a stronger increase in labor-force participation in the fall," Birch added.

While workers across the board struggled during the pandemic, the economic hardship was mostly shouldered by lower income workers and non-White workers.

This is still reflected in the jobless rates for demographic groups.

The unemployment rate for Asian workers rose to 5.8% in June, from 5.5% in May, registering the biggest percentage point increase, even though it remained below the rate for the general population.

The jobless rates for Hispanic and Black workers each rose 0.1 percentage points, to 7.4% and 9.2%, respectively. This puts the rate for both populations far above that of the overall population.

The White unemployment increased to 5.2% from 5.1% in May.

Women were also disproportionately affected last year, but they made up nearly half the job gains in June.

1. The coronavirus has killed over 620,000 Americans. The United States, Canada, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Italy and Spain have eased restrictions but stress the urgency to be aware of the DELTA variant of the coronavirus.

2. Congress adjourned for the holiday break without passing major legislation. The Senate sunk the For The People's Act and John Lewis Voting Law. The Senate also sunk the bipartisan coalition that dealt with the deadly insurrection. They leave behind a whole lot of things not accomplished due to the Republicans opposition to everything Biden wants. The Senate and House of Representatives are a headache that Biden doesn't need.

Karens wants to sink Biden's agenda.

3. Many companies are no longer requiring mask in their businesses. Although they won't stop some from wearing masks while in their businesses, if you're fully vaccinate, you can enter the facility without a mask.

4. The president and Vice President Kamala Harris will be at a swear-in for naturalized citizens. The president and First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden paid their respects to the victims of the Florida apartment building collapse. Biden will also make an appearance at Arlington Cemetery and celebrate the nation's anniversary on July 4th with a large gathering. He will head to Michigan, Wisconsin, Missouri this month for the ReOpen America Tour. He will push for his infrastructure bill to be passed.

5. Biden's job approval is 52% - 48% at present time.

6. Gun violence continues to be a problem in the United States. We have over 289 mass shootings this year.

7. Washed Up 45 has tried to return to holding large gatherings and rallies. Despite no longer being president, the washed up politician continues to have his rallies. The Trump Organization is also facing heat from the New York Attorney General Letitia James found its been running a criminal enterprise.

Now again, we have 331.3 million Americans. The spread of 559,000 jobs has to go to the 50 states, five U.S. territories and the District of Columbia. Those who gave up looking for work also keeps the numbers down. Somehow, folks giving up looking for jobs also affects the economy.

Biden has achieved his goal of getting over 200 million vaccinations. So far there has been over 140 vaccinated Americans. There are still some who refused to be vaccinated and it could impact the progress in combating the pandemic.
Companies need help but are they willing to pay more for it?

Food prices, energy prices, rent, city services and college education have risen. With folks not working, the fears of being thrown on the street are live and direct. Folks are struggling to make ends meet as well as landlords, mortgage brokers and those who need the money to repair facilities.

Things are returning back to normal. Over 78% of Americans have at least gotten one of the coronavirus vaccines. Business are now returning back to normal operations.

However, they are struggling trying to hire employees. With the average wages stagnant, many are not looking forward to returning to a job that pays dirt wages. Many who worked in the retail, restaurant and low end service industry are not willing to take a job for less than $10 an hour.

Republicans don't see the bigger picture itself. They rather continue to believe in conspiracies about people collecting the safety net and not going back to work.

Give them a liveable wage and maybe things might improve in the job market.

Yes. We can't always assume that folks are lazy.

Many single mothers are having trouble trying to find quality daycare or family members to watch children. On top of that, some have lost family members due to the pandemic. A homemaker may have lost their spouse. Some may have no choice but to watch their children or loved ones due to the aftermath of the pandemic.

Folks are still trying to rebound from medical bills, late rent payments, owing taxes and college loans.

Republicans are white nationalists without a conscience. Washed Up 45's presidency and Republican controlled governments led us to losing over 620,000 Americans. President Joe Biden has a four seat House majority and a spilt in the Senate.

He can't get things done with two fucking idiot Democrats holding up his progress. Sen. Karen Sinema (D-AZ) and Sen. Karen Manchin (D-WV) are fucking up progress by getting along with white nationalists.

Holding these lawmakers accountable is not just a pledge, but a promise. You need to learn who represents your community. Your local councilman, your mayor, your state representative, your state senator, your governor, your U.S. Representative, your U.S. Senator and the president need to be held accountable for their actions.

We need to put pressure on Republicans and Democrats to do something to improve everyone's lives.
