To cap off the end of Pride Month, the rapper and singer does a set at the BET Awards which got the nation talking.

Lil Nas X came out in 2019 and has been very much open about his sexuality. He also is a huge troll on the internet and he's been very vocal about folks taking shots at him.

Nasarti defies the odds.

So during Sunday night's performance, the entertainer does a "Remember That Time" themed set. It paid homage to Michael Jackson, who passed away over 12 years ago. He passed away on June 25, 2009 and the nation stopped that day. I remember that day as well as the deaths of Farrah Fawcett, Ed McMahon and of course Michael.

Lil Nas X (Montero Hill) performed his hit single Montero (Call Me By Your Name). The entertainer did an Egyptian themed performance and at the end of the set, he gave a long passionate kiss to one of the male dancers.

The performance was praised and also criticized.

Obviously, folks like washed up rapper Pastor Troy continues to denounce LGBTQ hip-hop artists.

After one person tweeted that the rapper shouldn't have used African culture for such a display, admonishing that he should "respect our ancestors," Lil Nas X responded by tweeting, "y'all really like to pretend homosexuality didn't exist in african culture."

Others were complimentary, praising the artist for honoring Pride Month and his openness about his sexuality in hip-hop, which has a history of being homophobic.

Lil Nas X ain't worry about the critics. He often tell most critics to fuck off and mind their business.

The rapper has been a two time Grammy Award winning entertainer. He is worth $16 million in sales.

Even in the social media he's trolling. He purchased a Mercedes-Benz worth $85,000.

He is preparing for MONTERO, his debut album. He hasn't confirmed a release date but given that he's got a deal with Apple Music, you will expect him to have a surprise release date.

Known talents who are LGBTQ include: Lil Nas X, Young M.A., Queen Latifah, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Da Brat, ILoveMakonnen, Young Buck, 070 Shake, Fly Young Red, Frank Ocean, Willow Smith, Jaden Smith, Azealia Banks, Queen Pen, Tyler, the Creator and Janelle Monáe.
