It was the moment we've been all waiting for. The House Majority Whip and kingmaker has picked a side in a nationally watched special election race in Ohio.

Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC) has backed Shontel Brown over former Ohio state senator and leftist agitator Nina Turner in the race to replace Marcia Fudge. Fudge left her congressional seat to join President Joe Biden as the Housing and Urban Development Secretary.

Clyburn's endorsement of Brown deflates Turner. 

The New York Times was first to report on this. Turner, a top ally of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) during his twice ran presidential campaign was a controversial figure right off the bat. Her remarks about President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have only made things worse.

Shontel Brown is gaining more momentum.

She had said that voting for Biden is like eating "half a bowl of shit! It's still shit."

Turner is in a crowded field of 13 for this race touted the one poll from Sanders-backed Tulchin Elections claiming she's got the advantage against Cuyahoga County councilwoman Shontel Brown. 

Brown is a protege of Fudge and is considered the underdog in this race. She hasn't got much television, radio and internet recognition but she is building an on the ground coalition that could bring a huge upset against Turner.

Clyburn did not say that Turner's divisiveness led to his decision but we all know what was said over the weekend by rapper/activist Killer Mike really forced his hand.

Shit just got real for Nina. Jim Clyburn knocks the winds out her sails.

Killer Mike called Clyburn, "incredibly stupid" for backing Biden during the primaries. He complained that signing a federal holiday to make Juneteenth a national holiday isn't enough. He complained about how Black leaders like Clyburn, Barack Obama and in turn Shontel Brown were part of this "go along to get along" crowd.

Turner nodded along with the rapper.

Folks were offended by those remarks. Trust me, you don't say shit about a man who fought his life for asshole like Killer Mike.

Congressman Clyburn is an inspiration and a hero. His support means so much to me and to this campaign, and I will proudly stand beside him in Congress as we work to improve the lives of the people and businesses in the OH-11, and across this country.

Shontel Brown is looking more better everyday and I would love to see her beat back this extremist.

Noticing that white leftists are upset that Clyburn endorsed Brown. It's almost predictable if it wasn't so ridiculous for them to attack him. 

I thought the endorsements from Sanders, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO), Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA), Rep. Katie Porter (D-CA) and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) were an achievement for Turner.
