The eighth day of trial for the former Minneapolis Police officer who placed his goddamn knee on the neck of George Floyd. An unarmed man who begged for his life. All over an alleged forged $20 bill.

If convicted, he could face 40 years for second and third degree murder.

The defense is going to paint Floyd as a "deranged" person who tried to pass off a bad bill. They are going to claim that he longtime use to illegal drugs and crime led to his death. They are going to say that the dirty cop was just doing what other cops done before.

They will claim that Floyd's friend was the person who triggered the whole ordeal. 

They will say that Floyd's health conditions were the reasons to his death.

When Floyd said he couldn't breathe and crying for his mother, that should have been enough for the cop to take his goddamn knee of the neck. No.

For over 10 minutes, he allowed Floyd to slowly die of asphyxiation.

They are hoping for a mistrial due to some jurors having misbehaved while the trial was in session.

So far, the defense is hoping to prove that Chauvin's actions didn't accelerate Floyd's death.

The trial is being watched on most cable news channels and Court TV. 

This has been a very emotional trial. The death of George Floyd has touched the nation. His death was an outright lynching. For that cop to put his goddamn knee on that man's neck is so infuriating.

That was directly a violation of civil rights and reckless homicide.

This was police abuse at its worst.

Over a fake bill. 

The guy who was with Floyd also could be implicated in the matter. This witness refuses to testify because he could be arrested after he takes the bench.

Morries Hall could be indicted for the death of Floyd. The defense wants to pin the murder on him. 

Allegedly, Hall gave Floyd the counterfeit money to go into the store. He also invoked his fifth amendment right to self-incriminate. Hall may have been a dope pusher as well. The defense will ask Hall if he provided drugs to Floyd.

The trial has taken an impact on the jury. They're going to decide whether this dirty cop was reckless in placing his knee on the neck of Floyd. They are going to decide whether his failure to render aid to a man in distress is grounds for homicide.

The suspect is innocent until proven in a court of law.
