Conway The Machine releases La Maquina on Griselda and Empire. The Griselda label is no longer associated with Interscope Records and Shady Records. Conway The Machine is a survivor of gun violence. He was shot in the head and neck and left with Bell's palsy due to the injury. The rapper has a visceral flow reflecting the sheer force of will needed to overcome the incident. He said that the shooting never stopped him from rapping and producing. He along with Westside Gunn and Benny The Butcher caught the attention of Eminem in 2017. The Buffalo rap collective released three albums under Shady before Westside Gunn had a fallout with the label. Conway has released independent albums and mixtapes in the past. I delayed my posting of Slim Language 2 because I was feeling a bit under the weather. No I didn't have COVID-19. However, I did get the Mordona shot back in March and the second one in April.

I've been working a lot these past months and again, Blogger's new interface sucks. It's pretty much been a drag on postings. Google is literally killing its brands. However, I am not going to stop posting on Journal de la Reyna. I am slowing down a bit. We'll still cover issues and talk about the latest things in the country. However, I am tone it down a bit.

So I want to give you and opportunity to listen to the music and keep your mind out of the toxic culture wars.
