GOOGLE'S BLOGGER IS TRASH!

With the Blogger interface, it is getting harder to make blog posts. I am not kidding.

The way they rolled this interface out maybe the death knell for the once beloved social media platform.

I am not going to lie, this is frustrating and I am going to make my postings shorter and quicker now.

We are covering the chaos at the U.S. Capitol where Trump supporters have breached the steps of the federal building. We got word that many of these rioters have stolen property from the offices of lawmakers. Six people were killed.

For the first time in American history, a sitting president is impeached twice. President Donald J. Trump was impeached by the House of Representatives for high crimes and misdemeanors.

Most Democrats along with 10 Republicans voted to indict the president for instigation of an insurrection.

This will become another ugly chapter in this disgraceful presidency.

The president doesn't take responsibility for the U.S. Capitol chaos last Wednesday.

The chaos at the Capitol has touched the nerves of Americans. For the first time in over 200 years, the Capitol was breached by a bunch of far-right extremists. Brainwashed with the notion the election was stolen, Trump's base decided to storm the federal building with the intentions of causing harm to Vice President Mike Pence, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

The president did not call Pence during the unrest. He used his now deleted social media platforms to berate his vice president for not overturning the results of the 2020 presidential election.

Pelosi signs off the impeachment of the 45th President of the United States.

The ten Republicans who supported impeaching Trump included, Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), Rep. Anthony Gonzalez (R-OH), Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-WA), Rep. Peter Meijer (R-MI), Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-WA), Rep. Fred Upton (R-MI), Rep. Tom Rice (R-SC), Rep. David Valadao (R-CA), Rep. John Katko (R-NY)and Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY).

Cheney, the No. 3 Republican in the House leadership bucked the party and joined the nine lawmakers in holding the president accountable.

The votes were 223 to 205. The Article of Impeachment will immediately head to the Senate which Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) will not take up the trial until January 19, 2021, one day before Joe Biden is sworn in as the 46th President of the United States.

This incident is a huge blow to the Trump legacy. Now thanks to this insurrection, many are distancing themselves and no longer associating with the president.

Trump supporting lawmaker Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) has called for Cheney's removal from leadership

During the speeches, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) read out the president's statement in regards to the violence that appears to be happening in the days up to President Joe Biden's inauguration

"In light of reports of more demonstrations, I urge that there must be no violence, no lawbreaking and no vandalism of any kind. This is not what I would stand for, and it is not what America stands for. I call for all Americans to help ease tensions and calm tempers."

That seems like a prepared statement from some of the White House staff not the president.

Trump initially blamed Antifa for the unrest in Washington, DC.

Trump and many Republicans believe that the Antifa infiltrated the riots and they still believe that those who stormed the Capitol were patriots.

No joke.

Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), the Minority Leader of the House and staunch supporter of Trump couldn't keep 10 members in the fold. The Minority Leader did say Trump deserves a portion of the blame but went on to blaming the junk food media, Black Lives Matter, rhetoric from Democrats and Antifa for the actions of Wednesday.

The Republicans are upset that Facebook, Twitter, Apple, Google, TikTok, Amazon and Yahoo! have formally banned Trump and conservative/far-right agitators.

Of course, the far-right's move to Parler and Gab went up in smoke. The social media sites were pulled from the Apple App Store and Google Play store. Then Amazon had pulled its web servers from Parler, practically killing it.

Trump's antics have forced social media to suspend his accounts. Twitter permanently banned his personal account and warned agitators that they're being watched for inciting violence.

The FBI has informed the state governors that a potential armed protest is imminent.

There are chatter online that some are plotting an armed insurrection this time around and the city of Washington, DC is in a state of emergency for the foreseeable future.

Those who were inside the Capitol will be arrested and charged by the U.S. Justice Department. They will face up to 20 years in federal time out. Those involved in the death of the U.S. Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick could face LIFE or DEATH if convicted by the federal government.

Those who came to Washington, DC now face arrest, indictment, terminations from their employers, scrutiny from the public, a possible placement on the No Fly List and lawsuits from those affected by these actions.

If any Republican lawmaker aided and assisted those involved in this chaos, they should be immediately removed from office.

Trump is innocent until proven guilty in a trial by the Senate.

Those involved are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
