Everytime a person of color is shot and killed by the police, the far-right wants to look up the criminal history of the suspect.

WE ARE GETTING TIRED OF THIS NARRATIVE! NO MORE EXCUSES! IF YOU CAN DETAIN ARMED WHITE SUSPECTS, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DETAIN A BLACK MAN WITHOUT USING DEADLY FORCE!

With COVID-19 killing over 2,000 people a day, gun violence took a backseat. At least 105 people have been killed each day by gun violence. The American people are so numb to this stuff. They won’t socially distance. They won’t wear facial masks. They don’t take the dangers of the coronavirus seriously. 

Cop loves to kick bad guy ass.

As with gun violence, Congress will not do anything to stop it. Republican in the House and Senate as well as a handful of Democrats will continue to block legislation that stops the ongoing gun violence pandemic. They can’t even do anything. 

The latest police shooting in the United States. Again, a never ending theme here on Journal de la Reyna is the “What Happened To” postings. I often do these postings in regards to the latest incident involving a person of color being either killed by gun or racially motivated violence. It's usually long but with Google fucking up Blogger to a point where its not possible, I'll do as much as I can.

The Franklin County Boys and the Columbus Division of Police and the U.S. Marshals are scrambling. They are trying to place the blame on the Black man who was shot and killed by a county boy who worked for the U.S. Marshals.

So I am to believe that Casey Goodson, Jr., 23 deserved his fate because he:

1. Reached for something.

2. Ran from the cops.

3. Refused a cop’s order.

4. Look like a really bad dude.

Tell me, what led to this tragedy? Cause I see that the cops are going to try to justify shooting an armed legally allowed Black man because….”Well you know, he did X, Y and Z.”

The county boy working for the fugitive task force shot and killed Casey trying to enter his own home in Columbus, Ohio, last week in a case that is now being investigated by the feds.

The county boy, now identified as Jason Meade, worked for Franklin County boys for 17 years.

Casey looks like he enjoyed life.

His personal records show in March 2019, Meade received an oral reprimand for violating rules and regulations for deploying his taser on a suspect and didn’t notify his supervision or communications about the use of force.

Examples include only checking four of 12 citizen complaints in 2010 and nine out of 20 the year before.

The same evaluation showed Meade hadn’t done a progress report on a case of an elderly man who was robbed until seven months later.

In 2011, Meade was removed from No Inmate Contact Status which he was placed on in 2007 pending an IA investigation, meaning he couldn’t be around inmates while on duty. No explanation was given.

Franklin County sheriff claims the cop reacted to a gun being seen.

His most recent performance evaluation dated September 2020 shows three above expectation rankings. It was noted he is always counted on, thinks things through and makes command decisions for his peers. Meade was also described as an honest man who is highly motivated.

In a blog posting describing Meade, it says he likes “To Kick The Crap out of The Bad Guys.”

He was working with the U.S. Marshals looking for violent offenders. Casey was not on the radar of the Marshals. But somehow this dirty cop managed to put the bullets in him.

Goodson had put his keys into his door before he was shot and fell into the kitchen, where his 5-year old brother and 72-year old grandmother saw him lying on the ground with a Subway sandwich, says family attorney Sean Walton.





Goodson, a lawful concealed carry permit holder, was legally armed at the time of the shooting.

Again, Black men being armed is a death sentence. Regardless of us being legal owners of firearms, the cops always believe we’re the ones trying to instigate gun violence. Conceal carry is only good for White people. You don’t see White people being shot and killed when they conceal carry.

Goodson was not alleged to have committed any criminal acts. He has no criminal background nor he was any target of any investigation.

During the U.S. Marshal’s task force operation in Columbus, Meade reported seeing a man with a gun and was investigating the situation when there was reportedly a verbal exchange prior to the shooting, said the Columbus Division of Police.

According to the law, there were no other cops involved and no other cops witnessed the shooting.

There were no civilian eyewitnesses identified as of yet. The cop did not wear a body camera.

Casey's mother and attorney Sean Walton demand the cop be criminally charged.

The Franklin County boys working on the task force weren’t required to wear body cameras.

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost is doing what Mike DeWine did when John Crawford III was shot and killed in Dayton, Ohio back 2014. He is literally holding back evidence and not releasing anything because it could spark unrest. He is likely trying to side with the cops.

The Columbus Division of Police was going to turn over the investigation to the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI). The state agency would not be able to accept the case because of an unexplained delay in the request.

“We received a referral to take a three-day old officer involved shooting case. Not knowing all the reasons as to why so much time has passed before the case referred to BCI, we cannot accept this case,” a spokesperson for the Attorney General’s office said.

Yost said that the BCI has a memorandum of understanding with Columbus Police that says the state agency should be the first call after a police shooting.

“BCI is the first call because we cannot be the subject matter expert unless we’re on scene from the beginning to document the evidence of what happened from the start,” Yost said in a statement on Monday. “Three days later after the crime scene has been dismantled and the witness(es) have all dispersed does not work.”

So if you're a legally armed Black man and you're stopped by police, how can you prevent yourself from being shot?

Tell the cop you're a legal conceal carry.

Tell the cop that I have a firearm on me.

There's nothing that you can say or do that will prevent a cop from shooting you.

Tell them you're actually a white man who is a legal carry. Many white people who are armed are often given the benefit of the doubt.

Tensions have been rising since. Columbus, Ohio with a population of 946,000 residents is the only city in the Midwest that is growing. It is the fourth most economically segregated area in the country.

The city has been pushing for gentrification of Black neighborhoods and is quietly expanding its city boundaries. The city covers Franklin County, Delaware County, Licking County and soon parts of Madison County. It is the largest city in Ohio.

Shootings of Casey Goodson, Jr., Julius Tate, Kareem Ali Nadir Jones, Tyre King, Henry Green and numerous others sparked tensions between the police and residents.

The website Officer Down is a memorial to those who were killed in the line of duty. Those who don't get their names mentioned in the junk food media. Also the website the National Gun Violence Memorial also keeps record of the many individuals killed by gun violence.

So far, more Black men and women are being killed by the police. I don't want to hear no talk about white suspects being killed far more. So far, the junk food media has spotlighted Black people being shot by the police.

Tell me one political leader willing to take on the police unions, the National Rifle Association and far-right agitators! 

Joe Biden owes his success to Black voters. He and Kamala Harris need to work on police reform after we get this goddamn pandemic under control. We need to make sure that we hold the new administration accountable or we'll replace them like we did with President Donald J. Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.

FOR EVERY BAD COP, THERE WILL BE A DEAD COP!
