Arizona Guv Doug Ducey Blocks Trump's Call!

Uh, damn! The president just called me.

And thus the certification of Joe Biden.

It’s official. It’s been official since November 7.

President Donald J. Trump continues his crusade to undermine the election results. He called into Fox News to rant to Maria Bartiromo about how the FBI and the U.S. Justice Department played a role in his defeat.

The states of Michigan, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada and Pennsylvania will officially certify Joseph R. Biden II as the winner of the presidential election. The former vice president under Barack Obama will be the next President of the United States.

It appears that it was an embarrassing moment in presidential history. The president tried to steal the spotlight by calling the governor of Arizona to tell him to withhold his signature.

“You got a governor named Ducey. He just rushed to sign certificates … what’s that all about?

Trump later added, “I say why would he sign when you have these incredible hearings going on that’s showing such corruption and such horrible fraud?”

As the governor was about to sign off, he got a phone call.

The governor ignored his call.

Republican governor Doug Ducey appeared to ignore the call from the president and vice president in live presser to certify the election results.

Trump and Vice President Mike Pence shamelessly called the governor numerous times to rally Republicans to oppose the certification of Biden.

His presidential campaign lawyers have made unsupported claims about voter fraud.

To the tone of “Hail to the Chief” the phone rang. It was a VIP call from the president.

Of course, Ducey had to clap back at Trump for his insults against him. He said that the president is going against the will of the state. He said that he needs to accept defeat and move on.

“I trust our election system. There’s integrity in our election system. Joe Biden did win Arizona.”

Arizona Republicans were upset at the governor. They posted on social media, “Do not certify! A false election.”

Trump blames Doug Ducey for his lost in Arizona.

Ducey said that it’s all noise.

“We do elections well here in Arizona.”

Trump is upset that Sen. Martha McSally (R-AZ) was also defeated by Democrat Mark Kelly, the former astronaut and husband of Gabrielle Giffords, a former Democratic U.S. lawmaker who was shot at point blank range by a white terrorist in 2011. Senator-elect Kelly will take the oath of office in 2021.

McSally was appointed by Ducey to replace Jon Kyl who replaced John McCain who died in 2018.
