ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES!

AMERICA HAS SPOKEN!

So the results are in and I guess the American people have spoken.

A new day has risen. We have a new president and a new vice president.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will now carry the mantle of leadership. They will have a nation to repair. Biden will have a tall order ahead of him. He will still face strong opposition from Republicans and some Democrats. He will have to prove to the country and the world that he’s capable of leading a nation divided.

Historic that Joe Biden will be the oldest president to serve, the second Catholic, the first who isn’t a millionaire and the first who tried three times and finally got it.

Harris will be the first African American, Asian American, woman of color and female vice president. She has broken a glass ceiling. The last woman on a vice presidential ticket was Geraldine Ferraro, Sarah Palin and Carly Fiorina.

The Trump era will come to an end.

Hillary Clinton was the only woman to be the Democratic nominee. She didn’t get the motivation to win and Democrats let their guard down. Now after nearly four years of Trump, it’s time to move forward.

The coronavirus pandemic was the most disastrous thing to Trump. Had he listened to his daily press briefings and took the advice of Dr. Anthony Fauci, we wouldn’t be in this mess.

He squandered and thousands of Americans died. No telling when the pandemic is going to end. I mean this pandemic must have been the number one issue America had its eye on.

He paid the price for dropping the ball. And now it’s time for a new guy to pick it up and get the country moving forward.

I am not mad…. No not mad at all! I am going to continue to push harder for change and hold Biden accountable. I will make sure he does a good job as president and make sure we continue to build bridges and not burn down houses.

I will not be deterred and I won’t let the election results depress me. I will not gloat or mock anyone who supported Donald J. Trump and Mike Pence. I am going to pretend like it was just another day at the office.

It was an election that had no real winners.

So 2024 will be another presidential election year.

Republicans need to regroup and find their soul because they’re gonna need it.
