Even in France, the calls for Black Lives Matter exists. There was a controversial video shared on social media showing a Black music producer getting served a knuckle style chili by the law.
Michel Zecler was served a plate by members of the Paris Police.
The video shared on Loopsider shows Michel being repeatedly served a hot plate by the cops for several minutes and was subjected to racial abuse as he tried to enter his music studio last weekend.
The world condemned these actions and French president Emmanuel Macron had called for a federal investigation into the matter. The four cops who served Michel are being criminally charged for their actions.

Today's protests in France are over police violence and an authoritarian security bill which protects police. They're also about the brutal beating of Michel Zecler, a Black music producer.

Macron’s presser said this is an “unacceptable attack” and the French government will come up with proposals to “fight against discrimination.”
The French president said these actions “which shame us” speak tones of how French citizens of color view police. He said that “France must never allow hate or racism to spread.”
Michel said of his encounter.
“They called me a ‘DIRTY NIGGER’ several times to my face while they punched me,.”

A witness said that a cop “hit him so hard that his hand hurt.”
The Interior minister Gerald Darmanin who is in charge of the police forces told the French junk food media that the cops tarnished the reputation of France’s security forces.
The cops were already iced for their actions and must answer to the allegations they said racial slurs towards the suspect. Three of the four were being questioned on the suspicion of “violence with a racist motive.”
Michel, 41, was initially himself detained for causing violence, but the prosecutors threw out the charges and began to investigate the cops instead.
With tensions here in the United States due to the results of the election, the killings of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Ahmud Arbery, Rayshard Brooks and numerous others, people of color are calling for systematic changes in American policing.
President Donald J. Trump has no plans in his final weeks of his term. President-elect Joe Biden has been pressured by the far-left to roll out plans that fix the broken justice system.
The French government has seen it as well. With tensions rising in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, white nationalists are focusing the blame of the pandemic on people of color.
Immigrants from outside of Europe are being targeted for hate crimes. Far-right agitators in Europe are pushing for a ban on immigrants.
France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands and Italy are places where Black people have experienced some form of racism from a white nationalist.
It’s not just an American or Canadian thing, racism is a worldwide plague.
