Seniors Night!

Trump and Biden come to Ohio for the first presidential debate.
Donald J. Trump and Joe Biden are going to debate tonight in Cleveland, Ohio. The state of Ohio is crucial swing state in the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election. As of right now, Trump has a 2 point lead against Biden in this state. This is the first debate for both the president and former vice president.

NO REPUBLICAN EVER WON THE WHITE HOUSE WITHOUT CARRYING OHIO.

Trump carried Ohio in 2016 by 8 points.

The city will have a large police presence. The city will be having expected protesters, the junk food media and agitators from the left and right giving analysis to a historical event.

A former reality television star turned President of the United States versus the former Vice President of the United States turned Democratic nominee.

Both are over 70 years old. Both have been through a laundry list of accomplishments and controversies.

They will both face questions about their records and must provide the nation a clear cut message about how they could run this country.
Chris Wallace will moderate the first debate. Will he be a "fair and balanced" moderator?
Chris Wallace of Fox News will be the first moderator of this debate. The debate will be 90 minutes and it will be divided into six 15-minute segments without commercial breaks.

Wallace will address issues that may come off as controversial.

He will ask the two about these issues:

The Trump and Biden records

The Supreme Court

The COVID-19 pandemic

The economy

Race and violence in American cities

The integrity of the election.

Some issues missing from the debate include: Climate change, wealth inequality, the Middle East conflicts, unemployment, gridlock in Washington and government shutdowns.

As of today, we have over 8 million Americans infected by the coronavirus. We have over 240,000 Americans killed from the disease. We have over 30 million Americans out of work. We have unrest in the United States. Since the killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and numerous others, the need for police reform and gun control are front and center. We have a partisan divide over the Supreme Court. Trump is ignoring the pandemic to focus on trying to ram through an inexperienced jurist to the Supreme Court. He will try to pack the Court to sway election results, repeal the Affordable Care Act, restrict women's health and the right to choose. We have wildfires in the Western states. . Hurricanes in the Gulf States. Massive flooding and tornadoes in the Midwest. We have unseasonable snow storms in the Mountain States. We have extreme heat in most American states. Glaciers are melting in the Artic and Antarctic. We have the coronavirus and deadly Japanese giant hornets in the United States. We have a spike in mosquitoes carrying dandee fever and Western Nile Virus. We have animals going extinct because of  climate change.

The continent of Australia has seen its worst wildfires in a generation. It killed over 3 million endangered animals
Who got this?
We have Israel continuing massive removals of Palestinians in the West Bank. They ignore the treaties recently signed to continue to build settlements despite human right violations.

We have the Russian Federation poisoning critics, political candidates, meddling in the U.S., French, British and Ukrainian elections.

The United States is no longer considered a leading ally in the world. Under this president, we have seen our allies lost confidence in our ability to lead, govern and set the example.

The University of Norte Dame dropped the debate after a spike in coronavirus cases.

I remember Dayton, Ohio lost out on the national debate. Trump and Hillary Clinton were expected to make an appearance in Ohio for the debate at Wright State University. The university's economic woes forced it to drop the debate. Dayton was hoping to seize on the revenue. Clinton's failure to visit Dayton cost her big time.

Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Clinic will partner up for this debate.
