The Los Angeles Police Department announced they caught the terrorist who shot two Los Angeles County Deputies in an ambush in Compton.
The suspect is identified and taken into custody without a bullet.
Earlier this month, the terrorist saw the two monitoring a transit station and ambushed them while they were doing patrol. The victims, Deputy Claudia Apolinar, 31 and her partner, 24 who wasn't identified were seriously injured by the gunfire. They survived their shootings and will be facing reconstructive surgeries.
The terrorist's brazen ambush became a political football for Donald J. Trump who is running on a white nationalist platform of "law and order." He had blasted California's governor Gavin Newsom, Joe Biden, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), Black Lives Matters and Democrats for the actions of this terrorist.
Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva said their recoveries will be a long process but he believes they'll be back on the team soon.
The department announced they nabbed the terrorist two weeks ago. He was fingered as a suspect in a suspected carjacking. But at the time, they couldn't finger him as the attacker until they had enough evidence built against him.
This terrorist does have a history with law enforcement. He has convictions for the sales and possession of narcotics, firearm possession, receiving stolen property, burglary, terrorist threats on witness and having weapons under disability. The charges alone are enough to put him in the iron college for LIFE. The shooting of police officers could carry LIFE or DEATH in California.
Investigators on Wednesday did not provide details to the attack. The only motive they have right now is the tension with people of color being killed by police driving this terrorist to "hate police and did whatever it takes to kill them."
The terrorist fled in a black Mercedes Benz sedan. The law determined that he was riding in hot wheels. He jacked the driver and shot him. Photographs showed the terrorist and they immediately fingered him as the attempted cop-killer.
They found the terrorist in another vehicle he jacked. They tried to stop him and threw the firearm out.
He would bail out of his vehicle and run into a home where he held the law off for nine hours. He would give up after they talked him from trying to put the bullet to his head.
The FBI and LAPD determined that the terrorist had a "ghost gun." Those are firearms built from discarded weaponry. It would be considered an untraceable firearm.
The suspect was innocent until to proven guilty in a court of law.
It keeps happening. And every time a cop kills another person of color, you're going to expect "an eye for an eye." The latest round of police violence happens in the country will set off a catalyst.
This is happening in "Donald J. Trump's America." If we re-elect Trump and Mike Pence, we're going to have more chaos and it could lead to violent acts towards people of color, Muslims, LGBTQ individuals, immigrants, those in law enforcement and currently serving politicians.
Trump is running on a white nationalist platform. He will try to pin all the blame on Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as a last ditch effort to win over white voters. With Russia propaganda and agitators from both sides of the spectrum trying to sow discourse, it's going to take a miracle to drag Joe Biden across the finish line.
We are in a fucking coronavirus pandemic. We have civil unrest from coast to coast. We have natural disasters getting worse. We have an economic crisis in the country. All this while we're only less than a few months from Election Day.
Black people are getting fed up with this.

We call for change in the way police handle situations.
We say we all want to go home.
We register to vote.
And nothing ever changes. It's getting to a point where now, if more Black men and women are killed by police, there's going to be someone who harbors hatred towards law enforcement plotting to assassinate police officers at their weakest points.
It touches the nation's politicians, entertainers, athletes, social media activists and families of the victims. We see these incidents over and over again. Never in my life, have I seen this much brutality from police towards people of color.

Trump and lawmakers elected to federal office made politics extremely toxic. It's not just the fault of our dear leader and lawmakers, but relentless agitators on the 24/7 cable news channels. They are profiting off division and divisiveness. The internet is also a problem. It's is a breeding ground for potential mass shooters. Facebook, Twitter, Google and other social media outlets have been "ground zero" for disinformation, partisan threats and social activism. Incels and social outcasts find their outlets on sites that inspire them to cause harm to their fellow human beings.
It never happens in your community ... Until it does! Every community in the United States will eventually have a legacy. A legacy of tragedy. Gun violence will affect your town, your family and your life.
Everyday at least 103 people die from gun violence. I can't even tell you how many stories I've missed involving gun violence in the country. Police shootings are part of the systematic problem with gun violence. No amount of training will ever stop a cop from using split judgement when it comes to a life-or-death situation. However, given how many of these incidents should have involved deescalation, these fatal encounters should have been prevented.
