NBA Photographer Off The Court After Kamala Harris Attack!

Now they're calling a Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) a hoe.
Ever since, Joe Biden selected Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) as his running mate the far-right and far-left have made allegations against her. Some of the allegations are complete nonsense.

Well here's something for the newspapers. A "independent contractor" for the NBA is sidelined and out of the "bubble" at Walt Disney World.

The NBA and WNBA are finishing up their season at the Walt Disney World Resort at the World Wide Sports Arena. A photographer named Bill Baptist decided to weigh in on the selection.

He posted a meme with the words: "JOE AND THE HOE!"

Baptist posted on social media that offensive meme and it caught the eye of NBA/WNBA analyst Sheryl Swoopes. She got the screenshot and shared it online.

"So this guy works for the NBA but covers the Houston Rockets. Has been around for a while. Even worked for the Houston Comets. It's amazing how people will smile in your face but eventually their true colors will show. @NBA and Houston Rockets he needs to GO!!! So disrespectful. Bill Baptiste shame on you!!!"

The legendary basketball player said the NBA should no longer use him as a contractor.

They quickly removed him and said they're no longer going to associated with him.

"The photographer is an independent contractor and his services are no longer being used in Orlando," the NBA said in a statement.

He released a statement to apologize for his actions.

"I deeply regret posting my posting on my Facebook page a phrase that I saw and copied from others as a sample of some people's reaction to [Joe] Biden's selection of Senator [Kamala] Harris as his choice for VP. The phrase I posted does not reflect my personal views at all. I should not have been so insensitive to post the statements by others. I sincerely apologize to all of those who have rightfully been offended and I have taken the post down from my FB page. It was a horrible mistake on my part."

When Black people run for higher office, we should always expect these things to happen. This applies to both Democrat and Republican Black candidates.

1. They will question the candidate's Blackness (whether they're too Black or not Black enough).

2. They will question the Black candidate on why he/she haven't done enough in the Black community (in regards to crime, drugs, gangs, gun violence and single parenting).

3. They will question whether biracial (mostly identified as Black) isn't Black.

4. Who the Black person is married to. If a Black candidate is married to someone who isn't Black, they will question it.

5. If the parent is born in another country but gives birth to a child in the United States, they will question the Black candidate on whether they're qualified to run for higher office because their parent isn't American.
