Gun Violence Rising In Cincy!

Gun violence is up in the United States. In California, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, Indiana, Illinois, New York, Michigan, Louisiana, Texas and Missouri, the municipalities have seen a spike in gun violence.

Cities like Chicago, Baltimore, St. Louis, New York City, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles and Detroit are often targets of conservative outrage and dog whistle politics.

My community of Dayton, Ohio has seen a huge spike of gun violence but its no where compared to the city of Cincinnati. The city on the banks of the Ohio River has reported 18 shootings with four of them being fatal.

In known neighborhoods like Westwood, Over-the-Rhine (OTR) and Avondale, the Cincinnati Police Department reported shootings. An Associated Press reporter took a picture of a Cincinnati Fire Department worker pouring bleach on the concrete to clear up body fluids.

It's an unfortunate circumstance in Donald J. Trump's America.

Trump has signalled he's going to send federal agents into communities like Cincinnati. He's already done it in Chicago, Portland and Kansas City.

It's an attempt to cast himself as "law and order" president in a pandemic. It's part of the issues we all are facing in the country. The numerous incidents of gun violence in the United States has been ignored by the junk food media. Most of the shootings are considered local news.

Gun violence is a pandemic. Too many Americans are easily obtaining firearms due to uncertainty and the COVID-19 pandemic. Politics play a huge role in how the media covers gun violence.

A 21-year old man was gunned down in Cincinnati.

The far-right wants to make the case that guns saves lives and progressives are trying to take them away from "lawful" Americans. Yet, in the same sentence, they're concerned about Black on whatever violence and how they want guns off the urban streets.

The Cincinnati Police reported that on Saturday and Sunday there were numerous shootings.

With issues like police reform on the table, many agencies are doing "slow downs." Trump and police unions are trying to justify the need for militarized policing. So I am guessing many agencies are doing a "stand down" order and trying to lump gun violence to Black Lives Matter demands to "defund the police."

Gun violence is universal. In these incidents, the victims probably knew the terrorists that fired on them. Most mass shooters are random (spree) killers. Those individuals were spurned by events in their lives or doing it in the martyrdom of a cause.

Cincinnati mayor John Cranley has called the violence in the city "senseless."

The Cincinnati Police Commissioner Eliot Isaac has shared similar sentiment about the violence and urged residents to report incidents to get these terrorists off the streets.

One victim was identified by the junk food media. The victim, Antonio Blair was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical and died from the injuries. The other victims Robert Rogers, 34 and Jaquiez Grant, 30 were ambushed in OTR. The final shooting was in OTR was Myron Green, 39.

In Ohio, murder is automatic 18 to LIFE or possible DEATH. The individuals who committed these acts will eventually be caught. The city has a shot spotter and surveillance cameras in neighborhoods.

It will become more likely the city will install more surveillance cameras in neighborhoods.

The suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Everyday at least 103 people die from gun violence. I can't even tell you how many stories I've missed involving gun violence in the country.

WHEN COPS SEE A BLACK MAN WITH A FIREARM REGARDLESS OF IT BEING LEGAL OR ILLEGAL, THEY AUTOMATICALLY SHOOT THE BLACK MAN. EVEN AN UNARMED BLACK MAN JUST REACHING FOR A WALLET OR A DOOR HANDLE COULD BE KILLED BY THE COPS. NOW A BLACK MAN FLEEING AN ARRESTING OFFICER COULD BE KILLED. WHETHER THEY'RE IN THEIR VEHICLE OR RUNNING FROM THEM. THE COPS WILL SHOOT THE BLACK MAN.

THE POLICE AND JUNK FOOD MEDIA TRY TO MAKE THE VICTIM, "THE BAD GUY" BY BRINGING UP HIS PAST HISTORY, HIS SOCIAL MEDIA OR HIS FAMILY LIFE. 

MANY WHITES (IN LARGE GROUPS) HAVE FIREARMS IN FRONT OF POLICE AND THEY NEVER GET SHOT OR KILLED. WHY AREN'T THEY AFRAID OF THEM?

WHENEVER SOMEONE COMPLAINS ABOUT THE LACK OF BLACK FATHERS, I CONTINUE TO DENOUNCE THIS BULLSHIT. I OFTEN REMIND THEM THAT THE POLICE KILL BLACK FATHERS. THE POLICE LEAVE CHILDREN OF COLOR WITHOUT A BLACK FATHER. AND NO AMOUNT OF MONEY COULD BRING THE PEACE AND TRANQUILITY TO THE FAMILIES OF THOSE KILLED BY THE COPS.

We have unrest in the nation. African Americans and Native Americans had enough of the status quo in politics, religion, entertainment and law. The need to change started on May 25, 2020 when a cop placed his knee on the neck of an American citizen. He screamed, "I can't breathe...." and cried for his "mama."

A 39-year old man was gunned down in a series of gun violence in Cincinnati.

No amount of criminal acts this man done justified that cop's actions. It's has frustrated me to hear folks like Candace Owens, Larry Elder, Leo Terrell, Jesse Lee Peterson, Terrence K. Williams, Kevin Jackson, Diamond & Silk and Allen West defend the actions of bad cops and white vigilantes.

I don't give a fuck about someone's past encounters with police. That doesn't justify the death of anyone.

The status quo of the gun culture. Now is not the time to talk about gun violence!

If there were more security guards and more civilians (aka the good guy) with a gun.......

They learn how to use firearms from watching (or listening) to gangsta rap.

They watch violent movies.

They don't have fathers or mothers in their lives and it results in them committing criminal acts.

Moments of silence, street memorials, naming of public places, saying "Your heart goes out to...," lowering of flags and hashtags are platitudes. They are a huge waste of time. It's a man-made crisis created by a lazy ass government. They are enabling this. Donald J. Trump, Congress and the National Rifle Association are a bunch of lily-livered cowards. They are numb to gun violence.

The "good guy" with a firearm is the most dangerous person to have a firearm. Matter of fact, the NICE GUYS are often the ones who are spurned by society. Bad relationships, losing your job, jealousy over promotions, family feuds and racism are typical NICE GUY issues.

NICE GUYS ARE THE MOST DANGEROUS INDIVIDUALS WITH A FIREARM.

THE NICE GUY GETS SPURNED BY SOCIETY. THEY TAKE REVENGE ON SOCIETY.

RESTRAINING ORDERS ARE JUST A PIECE OF PAPER. THEY WILL NOT (I REPEAT) STOP A "MAD" INDIVIDUAL FROM OBTAINING A FIREARM.

Scream in the faces of these damn lawmakers whenever they offer their "thoughts and prayers" to every fucking mass shooting in the United States. They will offer their condolences and say a word vomit how they sympathize with the deceased. Some here will tell us that "now isn't the time to talk." Others will say that "the NRA has too much influence on gun laws."

We will talk about this for a few days and then we're off to another controversy. The next controversy would either be something done by Trump, a politician, an entertainer or we will experience another mass shooting. The next mass shooting will be even worse than the last one.

I repeat myself over and over again! I use the same old copy and paste. I hear the same trolls saying that there's nothing we can do. I keep hearing "concern" trolls telling us that it's their own fault for their own deaths. I hear the same old talking points about "good guys with guns" and "god's given rights."

With gun violence on the rise in the United States, who deserves the blame for not controlling this pandemic?

President Donald Trump is mostly to blame. He hasn't really done much to stop gun violence. He will talk about being a "law and order" president but won't pass laws to keep assault weapons off the street.

Many of these city mayors in Democratic-run cities are at fault. They won't call for more police in problematic areas. They often allow underprivileged Americans obtain firearms in the use of criminal activity.

Republicans in Congress are mostly to blame. They have pledged loyalty to the gun lobby. The NRA and Republican lawmakers will never concede to the fact that more guns will never make Americans safe.

I blame the entertainment industry for gun violence. Rap music, video games, violent movies, books and social media play a role in gun violence. It's something that people refuse to talk about.

Every time these folks offer "thoughts and prayers," "their condolences," "their hearts going out to," and "their apologies," they are not sincere. For every naming of a road, park, bench, building and holiday, it won't matter to the community. For every time they lower flags, offer moments of silence and candlelight vigils, we just offer "feel good-isms."

The website Officer Down is a memorial to those who were killed in the line of duty. Those who don't get their names mentioned in the junk food media. Also the website the National Gun Violence Memorial also keeps record of the many individuals killed by gun violence.

We have mass shootings in the United States everyday. We are the only country in the world that continues to do nothing about this. Donald J. Trump, Congress, the National Rifle Association and agitators in the junk food media have moved on from dealing with this. They're too busy sniping over partisan blame games. With Trump being impeached while in office, he's unlikely to focus on gun violence.

America's cities are experiencing gun violence. Cincinnati is one of them.

Trump and lawmakers elected to federal office made politics extremely toxic. It's not just the fault of our dear leader and lawmakers, but relentless agitators on the 24/7 cable news channels. They are profiting off division and divisiveness. The internet is also a problem. It's is a breeding ground for potential mass shooters. Facebook, Twitter, Google and other social media outlets have been "ground zero" for disinformation, partisan threats and social activism. Incels and social outcasts find their outlets on sites that inspire them to cause harm to their fellow human beings.

It never happens in your community.......! Until it does! Every community in the United States will eventually have a legacy. A legacy of tragedy. A mass shooting will affect your town, your family and your life. So I don't want to hear that bullshit about how "guns save lives." They don't. The only thing that survives a gun shooting is the gun.
